I love to shop at Penneys it's my favorite store. BUT, your ad is so bad with all the screaming that I can't stand to listen to it and mute or turn the channel the minute it comes on. Whomever decided to go with this marketing campaign should be fired. I truly think it is the worst commercial I have ever seen. And, I am 64 years of age and have seen lots of commercials.

If your goal was to run off all of your customers with your screaming commercial - GOOD JOB!!! Someone should lose their job over this, not smart to insult your customers!

I don't complain about much but your commercial is awful and turns me off to your store. In fact I haven't stepped foot into a JCP in years. This type of poor quality commercial reflects the poor quality of items I would expect to find in your store. Take it off the air. T

Ditto on all of the above -- that has got to be the worst ad ever and will probably cause you the loss of many customers. I personally will think about the irritation every time I see your logo.

I'm sorry to admit that I once worked for JCPenney. Your new ad is the most annoying noise polluting commercial I have ever had the misfortune of viewing. My family immediately either switches channels or hits the mute button. An apology to the public MIGHT help your image if you remove this obnoxious ad immediately!

Who on earth recommended this ad? I would not put my name on it but for sure if I do any freelancing, do not want to use this company. Oh my God, my passive dog who never gets excited, ran into the closet and wouldn't come out. I thought someone outside was dying.....stop this polution to our ears.

what kind of idiot approved your screaming commercial. It is awful, disturbing and I mute it everytime its showed. My wife is a former employee of many years ago and we have been customers for over 50 years. Your latest advertising campaign with hideous screaming people is the most idiotic I have ever seen. It has to be a real customer "turn-off" and we both are sure if J. C. Penny himself saw this display of poor taste he would roll over in his grave. Who ever thought this advertisement scheme up should be categorically fired. What are you people smoking? I find it hard to believe that these commercials were reviewed and approved by a group of educated adults. It's bad enough to have to sit through repeat performances of political commercials every evening... Channel 2 and 6 in Orlando, FL ran your ads every 10 minutes during prime time last night. If you want us to shop elsewhere, just keep running this series of ads.

Absolutely the worst ad, I would fire the person that came up with that annoying scream ad. Hope they did not pay a lot of money to the people in the ad. I will never shop at penney's again!

The JC Penney screaming commercial is easily the most annoying and ridiculous commercial I have ever had to watch. I am grateful that I have a mute button on my remote and I can't get to it fast enough when this stupid commercial starts. I am embarrassed to be of the same species as the morons responsible for putting such garbage on TV. My JC Penney's credit card had been destroyed and I will NEVER step foot in the place again. Anyone that has anything to do with getting this commercial on the TV should be standing in the unemployment line.

I am so happy to have found a site where everyone is in agreement about that new JCPenney commercial! It is the worst idea anyone has ever come up with! I don't even want to go near a store! I have to quickly change the channel or hit mute! And it's even worse if I watch my shows online - that ridiculous commercial comes up numerous times! It makes me want to scream! Fire all the idiots that came up with it and aired it. Good riddance! I don't know if you were copying Target's Black Friday commercial - they knew what they were doing - that lady was fantastic! JC Penney wasn't a store I went to very much...but have NO DESIRE to go into now after the obnoxious commercials on TV and ads in the newpaper. If you're looking to grab attention...you've succeeded because the irritation of your advertising has many people screaming back>>>I WON'T STEP ONE FOOT INTO YOUR STORE!!! It is horrible advertising and speaks volumes...high ones I might add about the class you lack in a store.

You cannot be serious about keeping that ad on TV -- it is, by far, the worst, most annoying ad in recent memory. The minute it comes on, I hit the mute button. Someone really gouged your marketing department with this one. The advertising team must be howling hysterically that your team actually paid a lot of money for that turkey of a commercial.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one that finds the latest 'screaming their heads off people' ad to be the most obnoxious, useless and ineffective ad on TV, ever. I would suppose that your ad staff is basking in the glory of this negative attention -- it is simply not true that all attention, even bad, is good. This ad goes way beyond the line of any good taste. Please take this thing off the air immediately. Use that air time you're paying for to help people, instead of disrespecting them. You honestly think that this ad will entice people to shop at your stores? I think not. With all that is going on in the world - the joblessness, the lack of health care -- and you think that people would actually scream like this for a crummy sale? You're out of your minds. It is companies like YOU that make this country so sick. I am planning to complain to the FCC and other authorities, because I find it just that appalling -- and downright evil.

You were 5 Stars, but that stupid commercial you have on the air with those screaming broads has just lowered your rating. What are the CEO and the Advertising departments drinking? Are they on Drugs? And I do not mean the legal kind. Someone needs to use their heads and pull that add immediately or your stores will go by the way of Kaufmann's and Horne's.
