Why does Jc Penny not give senior discounts? I live in Morrow Georgia your store at Mcdonough told that the company did not do that. We seniors get discounts at Belk stores, Kroger stores, car washes, Restaurants, Drug stores, Car dealers where we get our cars service. I would shop more at Jc Penny's if you did this. I know a lot of seniors that would give you more business. I worked at Jc Penny's in Gadsden,Alabama while I was in high school. I think that this is something you should consider.

I worked for jcpenney for three years. The first year was great! i loved it..after that first year, things started to change but not for the better. There was new management and the other management started to slack. I began to hate working at a place where i loved what i did. I was pregnant at one point on the job and management made me wait for 30 min after calling 4 times for a bathroom break. I was 8 months pregnant at the time. I ended up peeing on myself on the floor and all they could do was tell me to go home and change and come back! I couldn't believe it. I finally put in my two weeks notice 2 1/2 yrs later because i began to hate that job even more. The last blow came when i spoke to a manager about a schedule mix up with another job. They scheduled me at the same time for both places and the assistant manager started arguing with me in front of customers until he pulled me in his office where he told me that i couldn't go because they other employee by law has to take a lunch and i can't mess with state law because they could get sued. The other employee came in two hours late that day which brought his ours down to 5 1/2 hours for the day so he didn't get a lunch. He started yelling at me and i finally told him and that store to shove it. I quit. There has been two H.R. complaints on that assistant manager and now he has his own store. Sad. I don't think anyone who treats their employees with such lack of disrespect should be allowed to get their own store. I absolutely loved what i did as an employee but i will never work or shop at that store ever again.

I've always liked shopping at JC Penney and could always find items I liked at reasonable prices. I'm not fond of the TV ads (it's hard to know what is being advertised) and I don't like the new catalogs (again, what is being advertised). Most of all, I don't approve of using lesbians in the advertising. It's against my Christian faith and I won't support a company that does this. I, also, am discussing this complaint with friends and family.

J.C. Penney shares fall 14% after hours in wake of quarterly results This says it all - When you promote a lesbian life sytle and homosexuality you deserve to lose business. The family is the bedrock of society. I'm sad for all the employees that must lose their job because of some bad marketing advice. Return to wholesome Christian principles that our country was founded on.

I am seriously thinking of cutting up my JC Penney card. They used to have rather nice clothing in women's sizes but lately it looks so cheap, sort of like Target and Sears. But perhaps the real reason is that of ALL the "celebrities" there are, they chose a lesbian and judging by the previous letters, are promoting this life style via their ads. I find this sickening. I don't need CHANGE. Have had far too much CHANGE stuffed down my throat by the current administration and its so called leader, one who apparently had just changed his mind about gay marriage. I will probably just stick my card in the freezer or something. About the only thing I do like is the selection of purses but I really rather not buy from such a friggin liberal outfit.

This place is a joke. My GM...is rude and yells at associates on the floor. They have removed alll the photos of Mr. Penneys from our upper offices. I have been there a year working just at 34 hrs. why??? so i dont qualify for full time. A yr. and no earned vacation days...REALLY.. i go to work sick because you dont get sick time. I missed 5 days last year. 3 of which were for a death in the family...2 i was sick. I got a warning...REALLY???? One month during holiday, they changed the store hours on me. I was sceduled til 9:30, they changed hrs to 10... wanted me to stay til 10... ok. I was scheduled at 4 am on black fri. they changef hours to be open at 3:30 am....ok... I was scheduled until 10:30pm.. store manager pushed it until 11pm. I couldnt stay this time....i got read the riot act...I got passed over for a promotion based on 'my availibity'.. oh Ill be sure to let my family know to not die..and that i am on call 24/7

Penneys is no longer a " family oriented store ", you have caved in to the politics of LESBIAN and GAY Lifestyles. For Shame, James Cash Penneys started up this company and you have now DESTROYED it. I will NEVER shop at JCP ever again.

I went to the salon in JC Penny's. I had the worse hair cut. I told the girl I wanted side bangs, not a full set with long layers. She told me she understand, no problem. Big problem, she cut in full bangs and only layered one side of my head. During this cut she sprayed me in the face with her water bottle, not once but three time, after which she threw her dirty salon towel in my face. I told her I was unhappy with the cut, and it was not what I asked for, she told me to go home a play with it. As she checked me out she had the nerve to ask me for her tip. I called to complain to the manager I recd the bush off. This JC Penny located in in the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall.

DO NOT GO TO THE JC PENNY IN POUGHKEEPSIE GALLERIA MALL. I GOT THE WORST HAIR CUT!

STOP KEEPING YOUR WORKERS UNTIL MIDNIGHT. IF YOU HAVE TO KEEP THEM THAT LONG, THEY IS SOMETHING WRONG. EITHER HIRE PEOPLE OR DECLARE BANKRUPTCY LIKE WE ALL KNOW YOU WILL.

Upon watching the news tonight, I saw a story about a JC Penney ad showing 2 gay women and their "daughter" as a way that JC Penney is trying to boost their declining sales by catering or accepting the gay community. Does JC Penney have to stoop this low just to make money? I won't be shopping there anymore.

Will you please tell me when the first J. C. Penney store was in Danville, Va.? I do not remember it before locating in Ballou Park and others say it was. Please Advise

I have only worked at JCPenney's for two years, and in that time period have seen HUGE changes. I work in the shoe department and can honestly say the clothing, shoes, or even Ellen Degeneres have absolutely nothing to do with the downfall of this store. There needed to be a change with JCPenney's, although I do not agree with everything Ron Johnson is doing. Coupons being given out almost everyday of the week for every single thing- come on, as an associate this drove me and everyone I work with insane. It needed to be cut. The prices are better now, coupons are not needed. Enough said. I do think however the cut of the managers wihout notice was pretty harsh. My direct supervisor was an incredibly hard worker. Besides him one of the managers that were let go opened our JCPenney's 29 years ago. The fact that they were fired because their jobs were cut, and because they are over the age of 40, is even more sickening. They weren't even given the option to perhaps become an associate and step down?

I just saw the May catalog and the ad with Maggie and Wendi as partners and their children. I am completely and utterly dismayed and disappointed in your decision to try and cram an alternate lifestyle down the throats of a Christian nation. This is such a controversial issue and so many people in this nation disagree with it. It is completely wrong that you would try to appeal to one of your marketing bases while ignoring the MAJORITY base that chooses to live a moral and Christian life. I have been a very LOYAL and LONG-TIME shopper with JCPenney, but that will change. I will no longer shop at JCPenney.

When I first read about Ellen g. Being spokesperson, I was very disappointed! I am a Christian and am against homosexual lifestyle. I decided to abandon this store and have not regretted my decision.

Oh Dear. I think the pearl clutchers with their panties in a wad over showing families of all shapes and sizes (isn't a single mother just as bad in the eyes of God as a gay person?) Walmart is calling; their CEO hates gay people as much as you do. I am so proud to shop at JCP. Thank you for reflecting society. Perhaps, for the fairness, you should have a two parent, 12 children family in matching clothes, you know, to make the OMM harpies happy.

woke up sunday morning to your ad in your flyer. I was appalled.I dont care how people choose to live their life, but i dont need it jammed down my throat over sunday morning coffee, tore up my card as did many of my friends. will never shop there again!!!
