I have had an account with JCPenney for many years, and have always been more than satisfied with your company and merchandise. However, after seeing the latest ad you have aired showing so-called "same-sex families", I regret that I will no longer be purchasing anything whatsoever from your company. This kind of advertising is absolutely uncalled for and, quite frankly, it sickens me.

Enough has been said but I do hope the corporate headquarters reads these reviews. If not, I feel better having spoken. I won't be darkening JC Penny's doors ever again and I like most Americans come from a long line of JC Penny customers. The gay ads are just too much for me and the rest of my relatives.

I have always liked the JC Penney store. I especially have enjoyed the large selection of tall size clothing that you have carried. However, as a born-again Christian I can no longer shop your stores. I will not support a store that is so blatantly promoting and embracing the homosexual lifestyle and snubbing the rest of the public. Why don't you try promoting family as defined in the Bible and refusing to listen to your advisors who are telling you that this is the way to increase your sales? I hope you realize that by your open support and promotion of the homosexual lifestyle you're saying to the rest of us that you don't care what's important to us and you obviously don't need our business.

Based on what I now know about your homosexuality advertising, I will no longer ever shop at JCPenny again. I never worked for your company but definitely bought your products, not anymore. I will take my business elsewhere and Im only 39. Lots of years of business left to give, sucks to be you.

Dear sirs, I have always enjoyed shopping at Penney's, especially since the new marketing concept has taken effect. The quality of the merchandise has always been great and the cost affordable as well as great service. However since one of your recent ads has aired on TV concering the overones 0f a gay couple of men, I will no longer be shopping at Penney's and I think you will find hundrerds, if not thousands of families that have decent morals and family values feel the same way. I and my family as well as many others who have conversed about this matter will no longer be a customer of Penney;s nor will we invest in stocks, bond or mutual funds that has Penney's name attached. I just bought a pair of shorts 2 weeks ago at the advertised "everyday low price" of $18, went in today to buy a second pair and the new "everyday low price" is now $25??? WTF - Maybe it should be "everyother day" or "when we feel like it" low price...that would be more accurate, your company and stock is falling like crazy, better light a match and burn it to the ground to collect on the insurance while you can!

I worked at jcp 5years ago and was shocked when I heard the news, im just wondering why they feel this would be the best option it's all about fair and square how is that possible if it's not being represented by showing the customers that they believe in providing jobs? I for one will no longer spend a penny at any jc penneys. Your company is a disgrace to the American economy!

If JCP wants to be the store for gays and Lesbians, that is their choice. It my choice, however, to never shop there again. I will Not support a store who has made it their business to normalize the gay lifestyle. i have been a Penny's customer since I was a child. many things in my home, much of my clothing and my children's clothing came from Penny's. No more. There is such a thing as truth and Godliness. homosexuality is a choice, not a race. It is a choice which turns its back on the Godly design of life itself. It is not the only such choice out there. Drugs, excessive alcohol, lying, theft-they are all bad choices. I won't take my children to astore that promotes bad life choices.

Just a note to let you know that my wife and I are destroying our Penny's credit card after shopping at Pennys for DECADES. You can also be advised that we will NEVER EVER shop at Penny's again. Your acceptance of the homosexual agenda has proven that you have forsaken your American heritage with its decent values. You should be ASHAMED but you are NOT. Therefore, we are severing our once valued, honored, and respected relationship. We WILL shop elsewhere...or didn't anyone advise about the "competition"?

What are you doing? You are upsetting the rules and morales that this country is based on! The Bible and the beliefs that it is one man with one woman and nothing else! You shouldn't be showing gay people together in your magazine, exspecially not those that are married.

REALLY, REALLY! Don't you people have anything better to do that to talk crap about other people. I'm 40 years old. I've worked at JC Penney's before and other retails stores. I have a bachelors degree in Business Administration. While, I am a Latin Catholic Woman. I try to live by Gods commandments on a daily basis and try not to judge others. It doesn't always work. I have a 14 year old and even I KNOW that one fricken catalog is not going to make her turn GAY! Take a look around you there's a lot more going on in this world that bashing on the JC Penney Catalog. GROW UP people you're going to complain about Penney's catalog you better hit up every other store that does the same i.e. Old Navy, GAP etc etc. IT IS YOU the parent that has influence on your child. YOU do the best you can and hope and pray to God that you children don't but if they do come out of the closet or turn GAY like you said are you going to love them any less. My mom once told me "Mirate tu propio culo antes de hablar mal de otra persona" translation. Look at your own ass before talking crap about others. I agree w/the anonymous person that JC Penney seems to cater to teens or young adults. I love shopping at Penney's in low cost and convenient for me and my daughter but they could use a little more fashion sense when it comes to women's clothing. I'm 40 not 80.

I have been a loyal customer at J. C. Penney for thirty year, but as of these two catalogs which support homosexuals and lesbians, I will no longer walk into a J. C. Penney store. Over the years I have spent thousands of my dollars buying my clothing at your stores, but no longer. J. C. Penney would turn over in his grave if he knew what had happened to this corporation. He was a devout Christian, and would never have stooped to this level to just make sales. The sad thing for you is that it will not work. I would imagine that most of your business is from people like me who represent traditional, Scripture-based, values. It is a sad thing to see a great company come to this. I am ashamed of you and your mindset. You are going against God Himself, and no one can do that without consequences. You have good people who work for you who will lose because of your corporate decision to do this.

First off, why isn't our comments sent to Corporate headquarters, they are the ones who complain when they are not making any money. I have shopped at JCP for over 50 years and was satisfied until the last 10 years when corporate sent in all these so called head personnel to decide what they should change in the stores to improve sales, they are not improving your place of business,but making it worse and you do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out. List of problems with JCP: 1) Should have keep the regular catalog which had a varity of items to chose from and helped the shut-ins and the elderly. It was much better than this expensive wasted paper catalog you are sending out which doesn't have anything but pictures and is put in the recylce pile. 2) The stores are so disorganized and the merchandise is awful. No style or quality of material in your clothing at all. 3) There is so much waste in your building maintenance. 4) Wake up JCP, because today you have a lot older people shopping and if you do not have anything for them to buy, your business will fold fast. I am one of these people and have been telling the businesses everywhere to wake up, I hear it from shoppers every day. Who do you listen to anyway? 5) Need family in your ads - remember the older days and if not go back in your history. It sells!!!! If you do not listen to your customers, it will be by by JCP.

My family canceled our J.C.Penny credit card today. The reason, because J.C.Penny management does not respect family values. God is no respecter of persons Acts 10:34. but God said homosexuality is a sin, Rom 1:25-28 1Cor 6:9-10.

I like JC Penney but not happy that they are not selling Cabin Creek clothing anymore. I have been buying the jeans for years and all of the sudden they are gone. Please bring them back!

Dear JC Penny management, With your new “First Pals” campaign, you no doubt think you are doing a good thing for your customers, company and society, but really, God sees it much differently. You are not fighting for equality, but fighting against the God who created human life, marriage, and the natural and moral law that governs these fundamental relationships. By promoting an inherently disordered behavior that wreaks havoc on individuals, children and our society, you are defying God Himself who makes Himself known in Scripture, the Church and indeed all of nature. Homosexuality, and any and all sexual relations that are not totally giving of the self, faithful, fruitful, and free (from compulsion) deviate from God’s plan for human health, happiness and holiness. So while you may be tempted to believe God and the Church are discriminating against homosexuals, even heterosexual, married, monogamous individuals who use birth control are offending God by living contrary to His will of being always open to new life ! While recognizing not all people are aiming for holiness, certainly statistics and common sense readily point to the fact that children need both mothers and fathers to create their identity and sense of well-being, so again, even divorce is contrary to the heart of God. Sexuality was created by God as a gift to bring forth new life and create a unique and indissoluble bond of the husband and wife. Homosexuality defies natural and moral law as created by God for our own good. Even though you may refuse to believe it now, you will see the truth if not on this life, but when you stand before the judgment of God. Please re-think your stance, your ideology and your plans to promote your agenda to re-define and in effect, destroy the family. It is no less a threat to our culture than as to your personal salvation. with prayers for you to see the Truth...

I was not a customer of yours until I saw your Father's Day ad today - now I am a customer for life, and I will spread the word to all my friends and family - bless you for having the decency and courage to support ALL Americans, regardless of the threats you may receive from self-righteous bullies who desire to spread hatred - for every customer who threatens to boycott, please know that there are many more who will replace them in order to show support of your company's inclusiveness. I just received your June catalog, and I am appalled. Is this the American way of life, now? Dad is great, yeah, but two dads?!! Do the research, sodomy is not kid friendly, it is not safe, it is not "positive". I was deeply offended and I will not be shopping at JCPenney anymore. And I spend a lot of money during the year for my family.

Bravo JC Penney!!! Thank you for your brave steps to fighting against bigotry! My whole family will be shopping with you from now on. All you homophobes and bigots who are complaining about this should consider getting in a time machine and transporting yourselves back to the dark ages.
