Every day I pick up the paper and see more about Penneys --- hate your paper ads and absolutely hate hate your TV ads. Then I go in store the other day to get hair cut and see if things different and all this empty space and today reading my local paper which states that they are making mini - stores inside. I am sorry but that will just further my dislike for the way Penneys has gone. I don't want to shop one "mini store" for Levi jeans and then have to go to another "mini store" to look for another brand -- want them all together so I can compare. Have the people up high in their glass offices cleaned them lately. Read the internet and see the comments, talk to people. There is not a single person in my family who likes the way our store looks now. Sears and Penneys used to be my mainstays and Sears gone now - Penneys for all I care if they are going to stay like this can go away too. I will shop Kohls or go into Topeka or KC and hit other stores. I feel sorry for the employees/shareholders -- send that sorry a*** guy back to Apple or wherever he came from. He has no marketing ability whatsoever

I have been a loyal customer of J.C. Penney for 40 years. However, Mr. J. C. Penney would be greatly disturbed to see what this corporation has become. It was founded on Christian principles. I do not understand why the corporation is getting involved with non-Christian decisions and not treating their long-time employees with fairness and appreciation. I have heard many people state that they will no longer shop in the stores. I do not shop there as frequently as I did in past years. The changes and direction of the company made by the new CEO were ridiculous. Surely they will cause a huge drop in sales! I now shop mostly at Kohl's - a company that has excellent prices, high quality of merchandise, and an outstanding customer service department.

I 1st call JCP Furniture customer service to use my warranty on my sofa. They then informed me an agent would contact me to come see if the sofa could be repaired. One week went by and I called again. They said I would be contacted again, still no contact after two weeks. I called again the customer service agent informed me that they would replace my sofa. Only it would be back ordered and they would contact me in another two weeks for delivery. Still no call and now I have been waiting for just over one month, so I called customer service again, and the agent told me the sofa was to be delivered to deliver it last Saturday. I again informed her that I have never received a calls from any one as of yet. That the store has been given my home, work and cell phone, and the customer agent confirmed these numbers. She said that they would deliver it this Wednesday. Informed her hat I am off on Monday and my wife is off on Monday and Tuesday. But I was informed they do not deliver on those days by do deliver on Saturdays. So it is set for next Saturday. I informed her I work Tuesday thru Saturday and if it would be possible to speak to the delivery manger. She said she would connect me than I was hung up on, so I called back and spoke to another agent and informed what just went on. When she looked up me item she said it would have to be back ordered again this time the sofa would have to come out of California not Michigan. This agent had an attitude from the start when she first answered. I know everything is written in their computers for all other agent I have spoken to have been able to read my problem and try to help out or so they say. But this last agent didn’t even care about anything. Before I hung up I made sure that she knew I was not anger at her. That I am just frustrated about this whole ordeal, and now I will have to wait for another two weeks till a month with a broken sofa that can only be used in the center for both left and right recliners are broken.

JCP Company is spending million dollars for the advertisements and promotions but who will be thinking about a Customer Service Associate’s hourly basis rate/income? What that would be enough for an Associate hourly rate $7:50 to 8:30 in his/her life? Please let me ask you this question how somebody can be able to survive his/her life in this kind of pay rate and situation? Everything is getting expensive and rates are getting higher for an example Gas, Apartment Rent, Insurance. How somebody can be able to live in $1000/- per month. When JCP Company likes to hire any Customer Service Associate, company is looking so higher expectation about job from him/her. When somebody performed his/her job very awesomely and company likes to raise his/her pay rate just 10 Cents. Sometimes it seems to me company is taking an advantage from an Associate’s poor condition because they know she/he needs a job and they will be working on this set pay rate until they got better an other opportunity. If anybody did not think about this type of crucial situation, any company will never have an honest and hard worker ever. Please we have to think about it together.

Hey JCP shareholders, here's some expert advice for you: Stop promoting homosexuals in your advertisements, let Ellen Degeneres go, give Ron Johnson his walking papers, stop selling crap with holes in it, begin to promote traditional families and hire more senior citizens who are willing to work. You're welcome. I'll come by and pick my check up at your corporate office as soon as you incorporate this strategy. Trust me, it won't cost you near what you are paying that airhead Ron Johnson and his mongel, Ellen Degeneres.

Credit Card holders beware!!! I paid off my credit card in 2006, a payoff (I was behind on my payments)made over the phone to JC Penneys. The JC Penney caller said he would mail me a confirmation letter. No letter, however, since the company was reputable, I forgot about it. A couple more calls over the next year regarding my balance, however, I reminded them I had PAID it off in full. NOW, I just received a letter from their collection center that I have 45 days to pay a $500 balance (interest accrued from 2006) or they will slap a lien against me. Oh, but they did, once again, suggest another payoff..... Beware, that whenever you do this, be sure to speak to the highest manager you can. JC Penneys will scam you on this. I will never shop there again!

I am so disappointed in JC Penney’s!!!! You’re Father’s Day ad and using Ellen DeGeneres as your spokesperson is crossing the line for me. I believe in God, and I believe in His standards. Please understand that I am not the judge – God is. In 1 Corinthians 6:9 it clearly states that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God. The only other option here is Hell. 1 Timothy 1:10 states that homosexuality is contrary to sound judgment. The Bible also teaches that those folks who condone sin are just as guilty as committing it. Are you ready for that? I will be cutting up my JCP Credit card and no longer shopping there. Please close my account!! And let me say, this really hurts, because I WAS a huge fan of JC Penney’s. I will also be posting on FB and my email to encourage others to do the same.

I know you are thinking this new strategy will take time to pay off. It won't. I have shopped for years at JCP, but never will again. Time to join Kodak on the rubble pile...

I wish companies would not feel the need to become engaged in the cultural war. All we ask is for companies to sell their products and services, period. If they did that, they would not alienate any group. However, because you have chosen this path, I will never again shop at JC Penney. I have been a loyal customer for many, many years and have spent thousands of dollars at Penneys. You will no longer have my business. All I want is to find a company who believes in their products and services and does not feel the need to cater to ANY group to sell them. Perhaps we should all go and support the small business person out there who needs our business and who believes in their product and wants to hire individuals who will be loyal to them. A company who doesn't feel they need to be so politically correct.

Dear JC Penney's, I have been a loyal customer and JC Penney's card holder for around 20yrs. And I have to tell you I am very disappointed, no, very angry about your decision to take part in such morale-less propaganda. I was very disappointed a few weeks ago when I went to my mail box and proceeded to brows through my JC Penney's catalog and find gay couples in a catalog where such support for gay rights is neither required nor desired. "Yes", gay relationships/marriages are one of your civil freedoms, but , incestuous relationship are also against biological design and just as much your civil right. In fact you would be nothing short of a hypocrite to accept one relationship and not the other. Are pictures of those relationships what we have to look forward to from your company next. I know that all men are created equal....according to certain papers. However, in God's eyes that ruld does not apply. He is the boss. My wife never would have thought of shopping anywhere but Penneys for towels, sheets, drapes and clothes. We, along with our 4 married and grown children jointly destroyed our credit cards and will avoid Penneys like the plague. Why did Penney's have to wave flags that they are pro gay? What a change. Your tv commercials are delightful and makes one want to shop at your stores. The last set of screaming commercials was so offensive that I thought you were all nuts. Currently, you have added class to your company and made watching your commercials pleasant. Thank you.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment in J C Penny and their Father's Day Ad supporting homosexuality. I have shopped at J C Penny many of my 60+ years. How sad to see a company I felt was moral and upstanding fall. And I feel it was done just to make money in today's economy. I feel J C Penny has made one of the most damaging decisions ever. I believe they will find that giving up their reputation to gain money from such a small percentage of the people will not work to their benefit. My days of shopping at this company have come to an end and I don't believe I am alone in this decision.

Why the no commission pay and non-licensed salon leader will not work in the salon: Prices went up on services so what customer is going to pay top dollar for work done by newbies fresh out of school? Newbies fresh out of school is who will be working there after all the veterans have fled to other salons where commissions are paid. There won't be a leader able to fix the messed up color the newbie just did because he or she doesn't have a cosmetology license. This is a recipe for the closing of JCP salons nationwide. Is that what this is all about?

Shame of one of America's name brand dept stores pandering to homosexual mental illness. We don't see you taking a public stand and hiring Hollywood types who understand the propaganda campaign that you disgracefully support. If you're going to get into political and morality issues, then give equal time to those who oppose the assault on Western civilization. Companies becoming more and more corrupt - do not agree with your ads You have lost another customer.... You should have kept your company out of the immoral wars taking place today, just like many 100+ who are now only looking for ways to make money, where are your morals/values

I will not shop at JC Penney's stores ever again. I am disgusted by the ads pushing the homosexual lifestyle on customers. The homosexual lifestyle is an abomination before God, and by seeking to normalize it JC Penney is helping to lure people into this lifestyle. I have closed my credit card account, and will never enter their store again.
