1357 Reviews For JC Penney Headquarters & Corporate Office

The jcp store I shopped at has removed most of the customer service centers from the floor. I had to search for a register to pay for a purchase - I just put my purchase down and left the store without spending a penny. Also appears jcp is getting rid of their older employees- seems jcp doesn't want older people in their stores. I know I'm taking my $$$ elsewhere. No problem cutting up this credit card.

So here we go again, JCP costing yet more job loss with their new strategy for a register. So no more cashiers, no more customer services. And of course they expect us to swipe our charge card through an iPhone. Excuse me if i am wrong but didn't Mr. Johnson come to JCP from Apple. Seems like a win win for him since i am pretty sure he still holds Apple stocks. I will no longer support JCP as long as he remains in charge.

I'd like emaill address of department or person I can contact at JCPenney headquarters to report discrimination at hair salon in my area. In JCP in my area, to wash and set a black womans hair cost $45.00. Women of other race pay $24.00. Reason given is black women use more chemicals. This statement is untrue. For a wash and set, JCP uses same technique as other women. Black women DO NOT receive any special treatment(s). Should we require color or perm or intense conditioning or cut, additional cost is justified. While I vacationed in Texas, I got my hair done at a JCP. I was charged $26.00 for wash and set. So why does a wash and set cost $45.00 at my local JCP?

5 stars for supporting human rights - no stars for the plan to go cashier-less! what we want is a superior in-store experience. only people and a high level of customer support can give that. nobody wants a self check department store. the concept isn't even working at the supermarket. work on human the touches!

I have been buying extra tall clothes from JC Penney for more than 30 years. Most of my wardrobe, both business and casual, has come from JC Penney over that time. Now, it seems that the lines for extra tall men have been eliminated or severely cut back so that I can no longer find casual pants, nor long sleeved t-shirts and polos.

As a result of JCP promoting gay unions I will no longer be a frequent JCP shopper. For many years I not only purchased items from JCP but would often brag and show off my purchases to co-workers, family, and friends. You have created an unfortunate and unnecessary situation. I will miss the fine quality of clothes, furnishings, etc that you have provided for my family for many years.

Every shirt and every pair of pants that I own was purchased at JC Penney. I am 63 years old, and have always done most of my shopping at a JC Penney store or from a JC Penney catalog. As a kid, I could not wait for the JC Penney Christmas catalog to come out. I looked at the label on every one of my shirts and pants today, and my wife checked her clothes. NOT ONE of these items were made in AMERICA. I am done shopping at JC Penney until you start featuring American made products. If you want to change and save JC Penney then start a new campaign - "JC PENNEY, YOUR AMERICAN STORE FOR AMERICAN MADE PRODUCTS!"

Well, I have read a lot of the comments. I have written Mr. Ron Johnson, the CEO at Penney's. I sent my final payment to him on July 6 and still have not received an acknowledgement of my payment or letter (watch them try to charge me late fees). I have been a customer of theirs since I was a child - so around 55 years. We won't be shopping there again and have closed our account. Why is it that companies who would not be in business today had it not been for reproduction (which gays cannot do), seem to think that they need to get head deep into controversy that does not benefit them in any way. Why make a statement that could harm your customer base in any way? Why was it necessary to try to throw it in our faces that they were homosexuals? If it weren't for mothers and fathers reproducing and having children, you wouldn't be in business. Why try to demand our acceptance and try to flaunt it? There is no need for you to make a 'statement' for or against that lifestyle - one way or another. In all of these years, you never did it and you did pretty well...so why now? Well, I won't be spending my hard-earned money there and neither will my family. It never ceases to amaze me why corporations donate to such polarizing movements. There are so many, many charities and needs out there - let me see: Riley Hospital, Doctors on Wheels, etc. etc...that everyone would support and never blink an eye...but you chose to flaunt this in our faces. Well, you're done as far as I'm concerned. Farewell~

Worst business decision ever, JCPenny! Abandoning the faith and values this country was built on, ignoring the fact that EVERY state in this country has voted down gay marriage, joining forces with the MINORITY? From whom are you taking your cues? Hopefully, you'll listen to the voices of your customers who are leaving your stores to shop elsewhere. I will never shop there again personally, and am making it a point to notify everyone I can of your shameful, disgusting support of gays.

I feel so sorry for you people who claim you are Christians. I know your belief is "gays chose to be that particular way." I differ with you. My son is gay and believe it or not he was born that way. You people think by claiming you are Christians that you are so pure and righteous. God makes people in different ways -shapes and sizes, and yes, gays!!!!!!!! You don't know what you are talking about so please shut-up. I've seen people like you - no thanks!! Most of you are so two-faced. I might add - I bet you have gays in your own family - think about it!! Good luck!!

In as much as I would like to state that promoting same-sex marriage is odd and bad, I will also like to say that it is not a justification for a loyal customer to swear to disengagement. We should allow people to make a choice and be able to separate religion or belief from business and shopping experience. If you stop shopping at JCP and move to store XYZ, do you know what kind of religious belief or anti-religion campaign, they are using your money to promote? Would you stop living in the US because Barrack Obama said there is nothing wrong with gay marriages? I will persuade loyal customers to have a rethink of their decisions and show that through love and sustained expression of our expectations through comments and customer research surveys, we can help the company do a strategic rethink and offer us more delightful shopping experience. I pray that God will grant the management divine wisdom to lead and run the company profitably in Jesus Name. Amen.

I'm so glad to see that your stock is going down. I went to my local JCPenney over a month ago and returned $187.00 worth of merchandise. I explained to the manager that I will no longer shop at a company who chooses to support the gay agenda. It's my "CHOICE" to spend my money where I want to.

I happened to be shopping the other day and noticed a elderly lady at the door of JC Penny's in Grants Pass, Oregon. She was in a electric Scooter and was able to get in the store due to the fact there is not access button to allow her entry. I realize this is one of the older stores but I believe the handicapped elderly should have access to the store for shopping. I open the door for the lady and she was very thankful for that. Please get a door that has the access for people with a disability. So many just walked by this lady and did not help. I believe every one should have this right. Thank you, Pat

Jcpenney career website shows there are openings for particular area branch but when i went there after applying online i was told thr is no opening nd online carrer opportunities which shows in jepenney official website are simply to misguide..whom should we trust.it happened on connersville store..how to get in touch with the human resource team..i feel management should look into this.

While I have shopped at JCP for years I won't be doing it anymore. I am a Christian and I do not believe in Homosexuality as being "normal". I give them a right to make the choice, however wrong, to be whatever they choose. God is the only one who can judge them. But I do not believe JCP or any other business should promote this lifestyle as acceptable and normal and shoving it into our everyday lives. It is being shown more and more on television shows and in ads. As a company you do have the right to do what you want but as a consumer I also have the right to choose where I shop and it won't be at JCP anymore!! Your company is going under and this is one major problem you really should address. I am not saying you cannot sell to Gays etc.........just don't advertise them as normal families.......they are not nor ever will be.

You can add me and my family to the list of those who will not shop at JC Penney's again until they return to the family values the company was founded upon and stop supporting the so-called "gay" marriage agenda.

We are all sinners in the eyes of God. But why shove it in everyones face? It would be wise to keep your politics and lifestyle out of my face! I won't stand for it. Good luck JCP... I can shop elsewhere

Wow I live in NYC and I have read these reviews I cannot believe that there is such ignorance and stupidity in this country. I hate people who hide behind the bible and what God thinks, how do they know what God thinks?? These are peoples own fears, stop using religion! By the way I am not gay, I'm married with children and I will raise them to be loving, accepting people. Well done JC Penney for taking us out of the dark age!

My wife just retired after 25 yrs of service with JCP. I am disgusted with 2 things especially. First, is your new advertising, which is about the craziest move JCP has ever made and secondly, getting involved in the Gay and Lesbien agenda. Now you are pushing an agenda for about 2 to 4 percent of the population. Why could you not have stayed out of this issue? Now you have aroused a lot more than 2 or 4 percent of the populus. As a spouse of a former Penney employee, my days with JCP are over and done with until you get of the the cultural wars.

The founder of JC Penny would be ashamed at what this CEO has done in perforating what he and his wonderful stores have always stood for. My family will not shop at Penny's until this overt promotion of homosexual "families" is stopped. If we were meant to be like that, our bodies would reflect it. It is against nature. While I support the rights of people who are different to be themselves, without ridicule, I DO NOT SUPPORT legitimizing this behavior as normal or as an ideal family set up. IT IS NOT. Any basic class in physiology will tell you why! Shame on Penny's for promoting experimentation on the part of the young and innocent, which is exactly where their promotion leads. Penny's is no loner a shopping option for those in my sphere of influence. Penny's use to be a FIVE STAR and now...it is below a ONE.
