I would not give JCP even one star at this point. You should have a 0 on this list. To add insult to injury your poor excuse for a Catalog goes directly into the trash and is such a waste of our natural resources. Promoting same-sex marriage is against America's Christian values. We will no longer shop at JCP unless they return to the family values the company was founded on.
I am so very sorry that you got into politics.I do not promote gay and lesbian unions I also wish to tell you that I absolutly hate the new way of marketing. I like coupons and always will.Your prices are still to high. I went in for the last time. I use to love the comfortors and towels and I just don't like anything now.If you go back to the regular pricing it might help.I give up!!!!
I have been a JCP Customer for many years. I cannot imagine, how, you think that the majoririty Of the things, you are doing is improving the Stores. It is very sad, that such a God based Company, could become the non caring Company, that, it seems to be today. You have such Few workers, that it seems like, we are alone, when we go in your stores. I was at a Salon today, and the Employees, were so busy, that it was aggravatng, to see. There Was no Receptionist. The employees, were having to do everything. Please, fix our Stores, back to a Store, that is inviting, caring, helpful, and wants our Business, I really like to shop, there, but, If, if you don't return Penny's to the Great Customer Satisfaction, it onced had, I along with many others are gone. your
I am closing my account after being a customer for many years. I was offended by the "in your face" ads and shameless pandering to the liberal left. I will keep my Christian family values and you can keep your merchandise.
Iam so upset I went to jcpenney like I do and have been for years n years I went to buy my daughter a new bedroom suit. The service was terrible one guy started to help n then as soon as he went to get something for me he was no where to be found so I found 1 comforter for my 10 yr old that I thought was ok zebra print w/ pink I buy everything zebra n pink bought curtains with no help throw pillows I spent over 300 dollar for a twin bed sized room got home opened up the comforter n it looked like it. Had been brought back hd a big tear the outside of the blanket was so thin that it looked like something from big lots omg all I wanted was something to last her maybe 2 yrs I put it back n the bag n there it sits I looked online n seen 1 that might match her room but how do I know how thick this 1 will be???? I need some customer service like in the old days of penneys now its all about a bigger profit n the quality is going to crap what happened do wehave to spend a lot of money at macys to get the quality cuz I'm just about through,n I'm not even gonna talk about the credit card situations I think there overbilling people like the elder please jcpenney help me coreypedraza@gmail.com thanks I guess!!!!!!!!!!:-(
I don't know if anyone from your corporation will get this or not but I just wanted you to know that we have been loyal customers for years and until now have been very happy with the serves we have gotten from you. My son and daughter in law are having there first baby and with them being far from home and living on a military budget (my son is in the army) we wanted to give them a gift. We knew you had good quality things so we gave them our card # and told them to order a nursery set anything they might need. they did I called and verified the order and you sent 1/2 the stuff and canceled the other half. I was told it was not verified? so we reordered it. only some of the stuff was discontinued and they had to start over. now some of the baby stuff has been delivered to my address instead of there's. I called and was told to return it wait 3-5 days then reorder it again. I will just ship this out at our own expense it will be quicker. How sad that this is the best you can do for a loyal customer and even sadder yet that a military person who has served in both Iraq and Afghanistan could not get the customer serves to get the baby things delivered with out all these issues. They have already sacrificed so much and all we wanted was to get them a nursery for there baby. I wish you guys could have been a little more helpful. Julius& Diana Ames Colorado
How can you speak for your employees and stock holders concerning the gay marriage amendment. I It is against Biblical teaching that marriage is to be between a man and a woman, not between two men or two women. What made you buckle to the minority? I am one of the many you have lost for customers.
You have made the biggest mistake by not running sales & having coupons. Every woman I know looks forward to reading all the SALE ads on Sunday morning. Without advertised sales No one will shop there. And why make your ad with heavy magazine paper--would think it's more expensive? Face it.. Ron... It's not working!!! You don't even advertise on TV anymore...the public Has forgotten JCP...I had shopped there for over 40 years..it's like you have disappeared!!!
I used to shop at JCP for almost anything and everything... clothing for myself, husband and children, wedding and baby shower items, household goods, and particularly for bathroom towels and rugs, bedding items, and drapes and curtains for any room in the house. That is until you changed your pricing policy, no sales/coupons, and closing the catalog warehouse. It was such a pleasure to shop at JCP before... since your change, I have been in JCP two or three times, and made only one small purchase. I haven't been back since and don't even think of going to JCP. I'd rather give my business to Kohl's, Boscov's, Walmart or Sears. I hear you have a new CEO who thinks that just because he came up with this new idea in shopping, the working middle class public is going to just blindly follow him into the store. WRONG!!! I along with many other women, could have saved you millions of dollars in advertising and tv commercials, weekly inserts in the Sunday newspapers, etc. if you just asked lots of us from all parts of the country and from all walks of life, professional and non-professionals, doctors, lawyers, medical assistants, secretaries, teachers, supermarket clerks, sales personnel, skilled and non-skilled laborers, etc. We could have told you this line of thinking... of shopping would not work. It is just not the way we do it or have done it as long as I can remember accompanying my mom to Lit Brothers, Gimbels, Strawbridge & Clothier, Sears Roebuck, and John Wasnmaker's, back in the 1950s'- 1960s'. Why did you think we would be happy and satisfied with this way of shopping? Well, you were very, very wrong in case you want to know. Change it now, change it fast. If not, a year from now JCP will be another in the long list of stores mentioned above, that will bite the dust and be erased from our shopping list. You have been warned, now let's see if you can take me and all the other upset and irate customers, seriously. Do you have the guts to admit you were wrong, your idea was ridiculous and you would be reinstating the former way of shopping to your stores? I'm waiting JCP. The ball is now in your court!
Just saw you ad about the black dude being picked up in the laundromat by a white whore. Why don't you show a black woman being picked up by a white dude? Goes back to the plantation days, doesn't it? black folks don't like that scenario, do they?. We wouldn't want to discriminate, would we? I love JCP! I see more and more how the total polarization of this country is happening due to so many ignorant people that get upset that a company is supportive of total diversity. Also to all the bigots out there, not shopping at a store because they do not Condemn people that are gay is so ridiculously ignorant. The gay community in this country is huge, and guess what, we're not going away. So any company that takes a stand to end discrimination I fully support, all Christmas presents, major shopping and clothes from now on... JCP! YOU GUYS HAVE MY SUPPORT!
You have one heck of a nerve with this free kid's haircut garbage. You think It's going to promote business? You're going to loose so much money. In my opinion It's only hurting your business when your own PAYING clients are not able to get in an appointment when it is so booked up with this pointless promotion. It's only attracting the trashy lowest of the low type of people who have the nerve to bring thier kids who have LICE to the salon. Yes, there has already been MULTIPLE cases of LICE in the 5 days since this has been going on. Not only that, It has been complete chaos each day. How can you properly tend to the clients present in your salon with the phone going off to the point where 5 people are on hold at once? What about the potential PAYING color and cut walk-in client you had to turn away because you're booked solid with too many free kids cuts. How does any of this make sense? How are the stylists and the receptionists able to do their job properly under this type of stress? Do you think any of these people are going to come back after this month when the free ride is over? Shame on you. How dare you degrade your salon, your salon employees, and your PAYING clients like this. I hope you learn from this mistake.

First of all, jcpenney now completely sucks in every aspect. From pricing, to management, corporate, etc. it's new ideas on retail are completely ignorant. Speaking of ignorant, what 2-bit moron decided to vocalize as a company to support homosexuality?! Jcpenney, you might as well support rape, child sex trafficking, murder, drunk driving, drug use, abortion, greed, lust, and every other thing that's detestable in Gods eyes. The bible clearly says that those who do not know Him will not make heaven. Well you can't tell me you know God and are a homosexual, because if you actually listened to God He'd tell you it's wrong and tell you to stop doing it! Why do all you jerks assume that the 2 men in the ad are gay? 2 dads can't be in the same room playing with their kids? To all you moms who sit at the park with your friends watching your kids play, I guess ill assume that you're lesbians. And for all the "christians" out there............. do you really think this is how Jesus would treat someone..? They might not have traditional biblical sexual preferences, but they are people too. When Christ said as I have loved you, love one another...... he never went on to say... except gays and lesbians.. he will be the ultimate judge for whatever he considers good or evil. And God probably does not give a hoot if you got yourself some arizona jeans at jcp , but hell probably care that you have so much hatred for someone different than you.
The tone of the responses to JC Penneys decision to advocate on behalf of gay marriage tells it all. One side is cheering them on and calling the other bible thumping bigots. So now those bible thumping bigots don't want to shop Penney's any more. Can you imagine what would happen if Penneys had gone the other way? So long Penneys. I don't think there are enough gays or politically correct people to make up for all the customers you kicked to the curb with a smirk and a wink to your cool friends. But don't worry, America the great bastion of "cool" is heading toward bankruptcy right along with you so you won't be all alone... but we will all be ever so cool.
I went by the Salon in the Johnson City, TN Mall location and was talked to like I was bothering the woman that I asked if I could schedule an appointment. I was then told " uhhh no we aren't and cant do anything cant you see how busy it is in here with the free haircuts for kids in August" in a very rude tone with a are you dumb attitude ! I then called today to see what the problem was yesterday. I was then talked to like a piece of crap again by whomever answered the phone. I proceeded to tell her that she was being awfully rude and that yesterday when I came in they were rude also. She says " uhhhhhh sorry but we are busy".. Is this really the level of service I should expect when I come into a JC Penny store? I am very disgusted and will find the right person to contact about this who will handle it and make sure the people in that salon know that they were wrong..
I purchased a pair of glasses 4 weeks ago. first pair was wrong percription...waited another 7 days to get second pair... second pair had a cracked lens three days later!!! I would not recommend Jcpenny optical to anyone !! they will not replace lens without charging me when it is 100% their fault If you want glasses do not go to Jcpenny in north olmsted ohio!!!!
I believe it's time for the JCPenney Board of Directors to have a fire sale... start by firing Ron Johnson and admit you made a BIG mistake.
