I worked for Penneys 26 years. I found them fair and the stores fair with their employees. I able to help put our sons through college witha decent wage. I will say I do not like new business model but times change, but customers never do

Someone some how needs to get the store in St. Joseph, Missouri before the SO called Asst. Manager will be working the store by herself because all the employees will NOT be working there!!!!! Who ever heard of running a store from HOME???? She is the rudest person ever walked on this earth PLEASE DO SOMETHING NOW AND FAST!!!! Before there is a law suit

I have been to jcp at Riverdale MN 2 times in the last 2 weeks. Both visits were not what it use to be. NO HELP anywhere in site on both visits in the shoe dept. This shoe dept at this locations is where you help yourself HOWEVER due to previous visits I know they carry sizes in the back room. My family had a wedding so we had 2 adults and 3 kids to get shoes for. Because of no help we went accross the street to DSW and Kohls and got our shoes. I have shopped JCP for years and as of today I am done even walking any JCP stores. Customer service is no longer a part of this company.

i think it should have two people in a department one to run the register and the other to work the floor.its to much for one person,its hard for them to forcus on the register and the customers get upset because of this.

jc penney work their workers to hard .the pay is not good for all the work they do.

I miss the quality St. Johns Bay ladies clothing. Your knit tops for the past few years lack quality fabric and designs. Your stores do not seem to have clothing and household merchandise that I seek. Brands of clothing that I used to find in your stores are no longer available. What you do offer is extremely cheap and unattractive. I would be willing to pay more for better quality clothing. It seems that all of the manufacturers try to cut back on sizing, quality and choices of apparel in all of their departments. This is why JC Penney is not my favorite department store any more. I am age 69 and able to afford good quality. I no longer find it at Penneys.

MJC I experienced the same. But when I checked online it said the Post Office attemped deleivery and could not deliver it. I was home and nothing came. My order finally came a few days later. So now I pick up at teh store- however my experiences there have been no better. Still waiting to hear where my last order is. No one can tell me. Online it says pending shipment yet it was in stock when I ordered it in the store on 10/13/12. Somehow they got the wrong store also. If my order does come in I will have to drive 25 miles to ger it instead of driving 1/2 mile. JC Penny sure has gone down hill.

Change the JCP SIGN IN FRONT OF STORES- to inviting warm colors and rehire all the managers who made more than a million a year in the past three years.

It would be most helpful if corporate office would actually take me call instead of hanging up on me before even finding out why i was calling

Why is it that when we find something we really like - it is no longer available. I went to my local JCP looking to replace a pair of Cabin Creek shoes and could not find them in the store. I then decided to check on line and they are no longer carried by your company. Beats the heck out of me. I have done quite a bit of shopping with JCP in the past, but why would I want to return if after I buy something once and decide I like it I can no longer get it?

I AM FURIOUS WITH THE JCP SHIPPING - FOR SOME UNKNOWN RIDICULOUS REASON JCP DECIDES TO HAVE UPS TRANSFER MY PACKAGE OVER TO THE USPS WHEN IT IS LESS THAN 1 MILE AWAY FROM MY HOUSE AND IT TAKES OVER 2 DAYS FOR IT TO GET TO ME - I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO GET THIS RIDICULOUS SHIPPING SYSTEM CHANGED AND I SWEAR NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY UNTIL IT IS CHANGED - I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF JCP FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND I USED TO PRAISE THEIR DELIVERY - PACKAGES WOULD ALWAYS ARRIVE WITHIN 2-3 DAYS - NOW IT TAKES ALMOST 2 WEEKS. THIS MAKES NO SENSE!!

I went into your store wednesday evening. I think there were only 5 employees in the Pikeville, KY store. They were all extremely busy and I could not get waited on. In the past I have complained about sizes as I try to find stuff for my wife. It seems for every item that is a regular size, they must have about ten that are petit. While I understand that there are some people who are petite, they are not ninty percent of your business. So I both have problems in finding correct sizes and difficulty in trying to find someone to help me.

Red Wing, MN store lacks any type of selection for mens clothing

The selection of clothing for misses is absolutly horrible. Whom ever is doing the buying/designing should be fired. Bring back the gloria vanderbuilt and st Johns bay clothing. Everything now is made for teenagers. I guess I have to shop else where now.

JCP expert Floyd Newton at store 2703 does not know how to talk to his employees. He is rude he does not let others voice their opinion and he always figures something is right just because he says so. He is the worst when it comes to doing schedules and rarely goes by your availability. If you make a complaint to him about your schedule instead of him trying to fix the problem he will completely remove you from the schedule or only schedule you for a day or two. You do not get off at your correct time it ends up being over 6 hours and your not even entitled to a lunch. They constanstly hassle you about getting credit apps all day and try to force you, they make you not even want to ask the customer, because I know they dont care if the customer saves 20% they just want to meet their ICAP goal for the month. The store Manager stephanie has the worst attitude ever! She rarely smiles and seems as though she is only there to collect a paycheck. Debbie, Brian, and Charlette are the only managers who actually try to work with the employees. But overall JCP store 2703 has the worst management team ever!

I would give JCP FURNITURE/DELIVERY/CUSTOMER SERVICE a negative rating, if one was available for selection!!!!!Ordered recliner at Hobart, In. store 8/10/12...was promised delivery in one to two weeks. Not contacted by third week. Called customer service...was told item would not be in until the end of SEPTEMBER!!!! No one called when item came in; I called customer service to check on item. Given delivery date of SEPTEMBER 22 between 9:00am & 11:00...No one called nor showed up!!Finally got customer service on the phone that same afternoon...they could not get in touch with the "HUB"(delivery). No explanation given for the lack of communication!!! New delivery date of SEPTEMBER 28 given.Today is 9/28/12 and no one called in regards to delivery time. When customer service was reached, I was told the reason the chair was not delivered on the original date of 9/22/12, was because the item arrived at the warehouse with a broken leg...customer service said they were not informed. Second delivery, 9/28/12, was not made because the item was not re-ordered.

I am very upset with jcpenney in general but I have just about had enough with my jcp credit card statement and the jcp website. Each month for – at least – the past 3 months, I’ve had to change my password because I could not sign into the website to pay my bill. Each month I change the password and the next time I try to long in, it says the password is wrong. I am NOT entering the wrong password! After I have the site send me a temporary password and try to use the one I had set the previous month, the site tells me I can’t use it because it was one of my last three passwords! What is going on! I am tired of resetting to a new password each month. This is NOT due to a mistake on my part. I am being exceptionally careful to use the exact password that I sat up the previous month. It is taking an excessive amount of time each month just to pay my bill! Now, as for jcpenney in general, I have had a jcp credit card for as long as I can remember – back to somewhere in the 70s. jcpenney has always been my “go to” store for anything I wanted: clothing, shoes, housewares, baby gifts, jewelry…….absolutely EVERYTHING. This new change of format is blatantly aimed at a younger customer base. It doesn’t even try to appeal to us older folks – the ones that have kept JC Penney (the original name) in business for the past 30 or 40 years. Shame on you for throwing us out in the cold! Your displays, the clothing choices, even your TV ads are totally foreign to the over 40 crowd. I don’t like it and am seriously considering cancelling my jcpenney account. It seems to be of very little use anymore. I loved the sales and the coupons. I don’t like special days for discounted merchandise. I may not be able to make it in town to shop on those days. Kohls is beating the pants off of you.
