Customer service Sucks

I was put on hold for may times and the lady sound bored with her job, sleepy tone and lack of energy. I have tried several times to get a copy of my receipt, but they refuse to give me a recipts showing sales tax. NYS Sales auditor needs to knock on IKEA door.

Kitchen- IKEA Turkey

I have bought a kitchen in December 2012. After the installation there have been sevaral service interefernce and until today the kitschen is not fully operatable. The problem is still pendimng and i cannaot reach any real problem solver at Ikea -Turkey.

Ikea higher management should read these posts, perhaps they will not who knows. Customer service people are not picking up phone call, even worse lying. Got some broken furniture pieces, haven't been 3+ weeks, problem still not solved.

Cardboard furniture market

IKEA is marketing its big annual sales in Italy with a line of clever furniture pieces made entirely out of the company's own flat pack furniture packaging, (bed, table and chair). Why not bring this to the US market. People want new decorating ideas and products to meet the rapidly changing enviroment. I think this would go over big as it does with Real Estate staging companies in the homes and apartments dwellings. Europe produce fresh ideal why not bring this enviroment to America, IKEA?

bought an expensive couch cover. Washed it 3 months after it was used, thing ripped at the seams even though I washed it per instructions. They refused to even exchange the thing, cause I didnt have the receipt. Who the hell keeps a receipt over 6 months?

Ikea is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Ordered a coffee table online because we have no stores within 90 miles of here. Waited 2 weeks for table.. It came with the top broken in half. Totally crappy and unusable. Called company right away. Was told they would get back to us within 24 hours. Of course they didn't so we called back. Was to,d to send pics of the item. We did immediately. No response. After waiting for 35 minutes to speak to someone yesterday, she Promised to call back by the end of the day with a resolution . Surprise!! She didn't. Smashed table and credit card bill with no one to help us. All that's left now I'd to file a dispute with the credit card company. Stay Away From Ikea!!!

lousy customer service in NEW HEAVEN IKEA

TERRIBLE customer service. Went back three times and still did not get everything we needed to be replaced... I called more than 10 times after sales dept, no call back. In addition store manager was unhelpful and security guy was threatening to call police. I only hope someone in upper management will see this. THEY MUST DO SOMETHING!!

singapore Ikea customer service in their Tampines branch should be renamed as Customer Disservice as this is my personal experience with a bunch of human robots spewing out the standard Ikea corporate crab of how important our feedbacks are while its the opposite & they love to keep you waiting to be seen !! What a joke ! as u see how much fun the counter staff is having while they kept you waiting foreverwith a cue number..

Deliver and Set-up

I've nver witness a botch service the men drop off all the supplies and leave it out in a public hallway refuse to set up the parcel because the hour is late. Window for drop off 3;00 and 7:00 pm, they arrive a few minintes after 6:00pm stated they canniot set up the delivery thus leaving my family in a hotel for (2) nights. This is what excellent customer service is , I hate to see the balance.

My family and I travelled from Las Vegas (a four hour commute) to purchase items from the West Covina store. A particular item was not available on the floor for us to purchase. However, it is in stock. We were informed there are12 in stock but is not available for sale because they are not allowed to operate the forklift during store hours. We were told that it will not be available until tomorrow. We are not available to pick up the item tomorrow because we have to return our vehicle tonight. The particular item is the STUVA frame in white. We wanted to purchase two along with the products for a complete bedroom set. I was surprised to hear that a store will not sell their items to a consumer. We are very dissatisfed and sadly disappointed. Ikea should adequately stock their items for availablity so that out of state consumers will not run into this unfortunate issue.

Be warned do not buy any furniture in hope that you will be able to purchase a new slip cover in the future. you will soon find that your model has been changed or discontinued and covers are no longer made for your furniture. I think slip covers should be available a least for a few years, and if they are not this should be made very clear at time of purchase.

i ordered a bed and the mattress did not arrive so i went into the store to complain, as waiting in the god awful phone line ques was ridiculous! (hour waits sometimes). i had to buy another bed so i bought the frame and mattress at the same time as complaining about the missing mattress. the missing mattress arrived this time with the mattress of the second bed but not the second bed frame. i had to wait another two weeks for the bed frame to arrive after countless hours spent waiting on phone lines to organise the delivery of this missing bed and then when it was delivered it was missing a part and it was damaged. i am so incredibly furious with the insanely unorganised manner in which this company keeps itself. i have paid an incredible amount of money for these two beds and i feel as tho i have just been kicked in the gut.

I just saw a commercial of a woman sliding clothes across and her clothes changed to the same colour. I saw the woman's clothes change colour before the hanging clothes went across her body. I did not think it was good.

If you want to see a Ikea in Bremerton,Wa please contact Headquaters to let them know. lets ask them to build one on Wheaton Way on the east side.

I would have choosen less than one but not offered. IF ANYONE HAS A PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL ADDRESS THAT WILL HELP US, please share it with us. This is ridiculous!

Most of home is IKEA, from furniture to accessories, and majority has been better than average quality, BUT, purchased the wooden fram couch , exactly 2, about 4 yrs. ago, and no one mentioned replacement cushions, 6 learge would never be available for the couch/sofa/futon, etc. So, went to Pittsburgh store, no luck, check overstock sites, e-bay, etc. Yeah! Have been attempting to get a response from internet/customer service, and phone calls to corporate. Being totally ignored. Frame matches many of the chair frames, can get cushions for those? At least, should had been advised, when purchased, or alittle something in the way of a gift sertificate to purchase two new sofas. Guess i will now purchase elsewhere, but the entire home is IkEA, and a theme!

IKEA will never receive business from any of our friends, family, or even close acquaintances ever again. They delivered the wrong furniture to us, while charging us over $230 for delivery. Then for hours we couldn't reach anyone on the phone on their numbers. So we had to waste more money driving 150 miles round trip back to their store to complain, they PROMISED delivery of the correct parts on 9/5/2012. Of course they did not deliver. And now they call us and tell us they can schedule a delivery for 9/12/2012. Needless to say, I am going with this story to all the media outlets in the Midwest.

As the saying goes, "You only have one chance to make a first impression." And if your appointment is between 1-5 p.m., you don't show up at 9:35 p.m. My first impression of this company is based on a one time experience that won't win Suntrax Logistics a second chance in my lifetime. Their sense of schedule, truck loading, and customer satisfaction is laughable. Shame on IKEA for using their services--or diservices. No doubt they won the Seattle IKEA delivery service contract by a low bid. If I knew my bed would be delivered at 9:35 p.m. I would have rented and driven my own truck for delivery. Lastly, the delivery paperwork had so many typos there's no chance in hell the delivery would make its correct destination. Who screens their employees? What type of standards are they using. Unbelievable, really.

Ordered item. 3 weeks late in delivery. called and email custome service. Got back 6 days later. In meantime I had contacted corporate. They set up a pick up of damaged goods and delivery of new merchandise. The day came and went. No IKEA. I sent an email to corporate contact. She is no longer in position. Her email sent me to the customer service email. Thanks Ikea! Lacey
