I had the miss fortune of staying at your Holiday at 447 Farmington Dr Louisville Ky. Some of our drivers did not get their reserved rooms while working on the Kroger Corp. Venue because the manager did not keep the rooms for them. The Management did not let the drivers know that Kroger had paid for meals at the Hotel. This personaly cost me over One Hundred Dollars. I'm wondering what happend to the money spent by krogers. I personaly will do my best to not stay at another Holliday Inn. If my company gives me the choice which they do at times. I will not be staying in your hotels. I will also tell other profesioinal drivers about my experience. Bob L.

Filthy Room/facility

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at 5311 Campbells Run Road in Pittsburgh, PA. The room was FILTHY with dirt, dust and debris around the whole perimeter of the room. The carpet was dirty and buckling. The carpet was ripped at the edge of the sliding door. There was mold on the walls of the shower. The shower faucet leaked during the entire stay. If housekeeping were truly cleaning the bathroom area they should have noticed these things. The dust on the lamp bases between the beds and on the desk was terrible. Never would I stay at this facility again. Are they all this bad??

Why so much fuss ???

We and another family are at Aruba holiday inn resort and since we have four children with us , requested for rooms in the same building when we noticed we were put in two different towers , the manager spent 30 mins on a phone talk with ?? And finally gave us two rooms in the same floor and said one room is ready and another yet to be cleaned !!! And so we all moved to the one room given and while waiting for the other room to be given , we get a call that we cannot be given the allocated room and they will provide another room??? Is this how anyone want to kick off their vacation ?? A simple request to keep the kids happy and together should be prioritized and instead we had to wait and spend close to 4 hours with uncertainty on what is happening and why the request cannot be accommodated . The manager seemed cooperative but certain staff at front desk seemed to be determined to go with our existing reservations but not try to see the possibilities to accommodate us as requested . Seriously , not a professional customer service approach to understand families on vacation with children. Very very disappointing and request an immediate action to look into the matter if possible . Thanks

I want to commend the staff at the University Holiday Inn in Winston Salem, North Carolina. I have stayed there twice for a week in the last two years for a week each stay and have received excellent service in every way - the management, front desk, the hotel room and the restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Holiday Inn Maspeth-Poor Customer Service

We recently stayed a week at the Holiday Inn Maspeth N.Y. which we booked through Hotwire. I want to make you aware of a situation that occurred On Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 11:00 PM and will occur again. Much to our surprise, the parking lot next door to the hotel and the street adjacent to the rear of the hotel are turned into a car show each Friday and Saturday nights if the weather is clear. Several hundred young men gather there with their modified cars with very loud exhausts to, carouse, yell and sing very loudly and race their cars with heavily modified engines down the street. When we complained on both nights we were told that this is a regular event and the police are very slow to respond and break it up. In fact it wasn’t until 2:30 AM or 3:30 AM that this activity was stopped. On Friday, we asked to be moved to another room but were told it was just a as noisy, except all the activity occurs in the rear so that explanation doesn’t make sense. Even more frustrating was the attitude of the hotel management. I asked to speak with the manager and instead was contacted by a low level minion who informed me that the police won’t do anything and therefore the hotel can’t do anything. When I asked if they had contacted the fast food shop on the property or the parking lot owner, I was told that they didn’t care. When I asked if they sought legal action, the activity being a public nuisance, I was told no, they didn’t do anything but take pictures occasionally. It is clear that the hotel management does not care about the weekend guests whom they believe aren’t going to come back anyway, so why waste time trying to stop it. However, I can safely predict that with the size of the crowd and the activity occurring, someone is going to get hurt. Hopefully it won’t be a hotel guest. It is very important that you be aware of this continuing situation as it makes Holdiay Inn look very bad.. Fell free to contact me to clarify any issues.

CHARGED AND DIDNT EVEN STAY

We had made reservations a month in advance for Cherokee Holiday Inn but had a young nephew pass away after an accident and we couldn't go. I canceled the reservation within 24 hours but they charged me $131 because I didn't give a 48 hour call. I'm sorry my 14 year old nephew couldn't have died a day earlier for the freakin' Holiday Inn. I see now how these people make their money and I will NEVER stay there again. They lost ALOT of business not just from me but from my family as well. I contacted their billing department and practically begged them to reverse this charge due to the circumstances but they never even bothered to respond. Thanks for caring so much HI!

Bad service

The holiday inn express in Washington DC at 1917 Bladenburg Rd, the rooms were dirty smelled like feet switched rooms and the pillows had hair on them... I was charged $200 for the room and $20 for parking, but they aren't responsible if some were to happen to my car.... So what was the $20 for???? Never again!!!!

My family and I are currently staying at holiday inn on surfside in SC, I made reservations almost 4 weeks ago for a two bed room. We show up on spring break and they got our room wrong with only one bed! Me, my husband, and a 1 year old and 2 year old sons are sharing one bed! They say they won't change us rooms because there are none available to switch us but when I look online it says that there are 2 bed rooms available! Never again will we choose holiday inn!

Complaint

I stay at the North Charleston Holiday Inn Express . Although the Hotel was just a year old, the employees were not friendly nor appreciate of my business. The breakfast bar was terrible, rotten bannas, very little choice, instant oatmeal? Much better at Hampton Inns I have stayed. My family would not even eat it the second morning we went to Panera down the street

My family is currently staying at the holiday inn. We are not impressed. When my mother checked the place out she called to see if there was an indoor pool. There is but the did not say that the pool is freezing cold and the temp is only turned up on request. The water pressure of the shower is poor and the temperature is just warm. A very dissapointing experience after taking the kids out of the pool with blue lips and telling them the could warm up in a hot shower. Also had to change rooms three times because the keys would not work.

rude breakfest workers

There's a worker at the seaside ca holiday inn express name Carmen very rude she bumped in to my ARM with a cup of hot coffee and didn't say a word I thought it was me but as I watched her it was everyone she came in contact with this happened the morning 3/30/13

Disgusting

Incredibly horrible couldn't describe the experience at the holiday inn express lake buena vista in the Kissimmee FL/Orlando. Staff as disrecpectful as anyone anywhere can be, dirty facility that was supposedly newly renovated. Came back from late night dinner and witnessed security guard being nasty towards a small group of what looked like coworkers, telling them they had to leave the lobby lounge area because it was late. Very unprofessional over the phone whenever one would call in, phone answered 1 out of 5 times, should have been a sign to stay away. You couldn't PAY me to stay there with my family again. Sickening!!!

Worst Hotel EVER

My family and I recently stayed in the Holiday Inn Laurel-West in Maryland while at a hockey tounament. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was rude and they harrasseda nd threatened our children. The beds were hard as a rock, it would have been more comfortable sleeping on the beach or in my car. They provide no extra amenities of mini-fridge or microwave. The rooms smelled from a very pungent air fresherner they use. If you have any allergies to smells, perfume or breathing problems then you do not want to stay in this Holiday Inn. I suspect however that all of the Holiday Inns use the same stuff. I do not recommend staying at any Holiday Inn, their price was not so great for our group rate either.

$%#&ing terrible!

Stayed at the holiday inn and suites in Madison Wi. Wouldn't let us bring any food or drink into the pool area, unless you walked half way across the hotel and you bought their "overpriced food or drinks. (Not even a pack of saltines). The one lifeguard was a total B$#%H! She basically profiled us the whole stay. We had a group of five families, and we WILL NOT be staying there again!

Refund

I had booked online and it kept kicking me out and when I got a confirmation I noticed the dates were wrong so I called the Hotel I booked with direct and was under the impression the clerk had revised my dates. My husband and I show up to check in and they show we no showed on the incorrect date and they were booked up so we had no where to stay. I called guest relations since the hotel wouldnt help me and they refuse to refund me the $178. I had had problems with them previously but decided to give them another chance. I was wrong. I nor anyone in my immediate circle will ever stay at a holiday inn. I had to find another hotel room and spend $333 for that so in total I am out $511 all bc they wouldnt refund me even though it showed I never stayed.

Heartless Chain

I was about to go into the Holiday Inn in Fayetteville N.C. on Cedar Creek Rd. with my family and noticed a lady standing by a trap with a little kitty in it. She was waiting to talk to someone about the cat because she has been rescueing them and finding them homes. She said they lived in the woods behind the motel! She said the management knew she was rescueing them and they called animal control anyway to come trap them, they are ferals so they won't get adopted and will be killed. She was upset, I was upset, it just is wrong and heartless to take such action when someone else is trying to save them!! Needless to say we went to a different motel and I will be spreading the word about the Holiday Inn in Fayetteville, N.C on Cedar Creek Rd. I will not stay at another Holiday Inn with such heartless people managing them!!! I hope this lady takes further action, I sure told her too!

Wonderful front desk staff!

On Saturday night March 2, I was traveling north on I-65 and stopped at the Holiday Inn at Scottsburg, Indiana. . .there was a huge basketball tournment and NO room at the Inn. . . but Lori who worked at the Front Desk, called the Holiday Inn at Seymour, IN to help me set up a reservation! It was a very busy place but she took the time to help me find accomodations for that evening. . thank you Lori. . well done, indeed!

Service Sucks

We are staying at the inn in Florence, AZ. The staff here do not give a damn about their guests. 1. Morning one of our stay, breakfast.....what breakfast??? Pancake machine broken, juice machine broken, coffee...none and I could not find attendant, none of your famous rolls (out till Friday and today is Wednesday). 2. Day two, ask for an extra set of towels, twice, promised twice by lady at front desk....never arrived. 3. Day three, returned to room after a full day of work....room not serviced. Told by front desk that because we were a "stayover" our room would be cleaned late.....gosh it is 6PM, how much later do we have to wait. This place sucks, will find another place to spend my koney for lodging next trip.

Bad experience

I slipped and fell in the hotel parking lot due to negligance on the hotels part on keeping the premises safe. I ended up going to the hospital after informing the hotel of the accident. Over a month later and I am still in pain from the fall. NONE of the hotel staff helped me, asked if I was ok, or offered any assistance what so ever. They declined me when I asked for a different room due to my injuries. The manager the next day was very unuseful as well
