Disappointed
I was at the Holiday Inn in Dayton/Englewood and I have to say that I was highly disappointed in the accommodations. I had my dog with me and I believe that they give the worst rooms to pet owners, the carpet was stained, there was mold in the bathroom/shower there was pet markings on the covers/sheets of the beds. I was so tired from traveling all day if I had common sense I would have moved to another hotel in the area. Don't stay at this location.
terrible hotel
The Holiday Inn Express Midtown in Albuquerque, NM is a total mess from start to finish. Toilets don't work, doors don't lock, room fan doesn't work, sinks don't drain, keys don't work and the worst is the staff are completely unwilling to be of any help and are extremely rude and obnoxious. Plan to be jerked around if you stay in this hotel.
Not good in fresno
The rooms were fine, the restaurant was terrible The salad bar had brown wilted lettuces the broccoli had brown rotten spots. This gave me an indication of how clean and fresh the rest of the food was so I eat elsewhere. The shuttle van had steel cords showing on the front passenger tire. The front desk staff were very friendly though and that's about the only positive I can say

pet policy #50 bucks come on,thats taking advantage of road weary travelers 25 ok but 50s to high! we will be going to la quinta from now on pets stay free
Keeping our deposit!
I has 10 rooms reserved at Holiday Inn SoHo and paid almost $700 deposit and was told repeatedly by the Sales Manager that I would be refunded if I gave at least 3 weeks notice of cancellation. Now the Sales Manager no longer works there and they are keeping all of our money. They were not able to accommodate our group on our date change so I am staying at another Holiday Inn in Manhattan and they STILL are keeping our money!! Poorest business practice I've ever dealt with. Now my family is in a financial crisis because of this! I'm beyond words. Contacting Attorney General and Better Business Bureau next.
Inadequate
By far the worst nightmare we've ever faced!!!! My family and I stayed in Mcdonough Ga for a graduation, and i trusted this lousy hotel to meet our accomodations. Service was unprofessional, incorrect charges were made to myself and my wife"s credit card for services not rendered! I am truly outdune and very irrate at this point! Holiday Inn, you WILL Never have to worry about receiving any of my business again in life and anyone who ask me about your joke of service! I willbe on the phone with corporate tomorrow!
Despicable Service
My wife and I had reservations at your Holiday Inn Express in Frazer-Malvern PA for 5/30/2013. We arrived around 12:30 and were told we could not check in until 3pm. The clerk Kevin, I believe his name was told us they had a full house the previous night. We stayed there most of the afternoon and did not see one customer ckeck in or out all afternoon. I couldn't believe from 11 to 3 no rooms would be available. We had plans for that afternoon but were not able to keep them. Yes I know check in is at three. So at three I went back to the desk and asked to check in. Kevin was still there but another older man waited on me. He told me they had a lot of late check outs and they had no rooms ready. I was there all afternoon, there were no late check outs. At three O'clock I had to cancel my reservations and look for another motel. Is this what I should expect from Holiday Inn.

I am VERY unhappy w my experience with reservations. I was not OFFERRED a gulf breeze room when booking the orange beach holiday inn express and when I called to upgrade was told I was in a STANDARD room. If Expedia books your hotel rooms they SHOULD be responsible for giving accurate info and options because people do not KNOW that you do not accept responsibility for this and the bad experience is a reflection of YOUR business. Oh by the way. WRITING A REVIEW DOES NO GOOD
Terrible
My family and I stayed this past weekend and it was BY FAR the worst customer service I have EVER come across. I would not recommend anyone staying.

Absoutely terrible and I will be on FB and Twitter within the next week...when I have more consistant access to internet. I am so, very unhappy. I am incredibly unhappy with this hotel and the lack of integrity! I am beside myself and unable to help my niece when Holiday Inn told me that I could. Then she arrived at your hotel and I found that I might not have been able to after all. I really should have gone with a more expensive hotel that would be able to actually help instead of leading me to believe that they could, and then let me down when it was too late. I am beside myslef with frustrations.
Switch Hotels
We made reservations at the Holiday Inn in Clarksville Indiana near Louisville KY. This was for an event that we attended. The entrace and sitting area were very nice, however when we arrived to the tow rooms we were disgusted. The rooms were musty and hardly cleaned. Hair in the bathrooms, dirty carpets, stains on the WHITE bedspreads, gunk on the tables and the worst was the cigarette buds in the trash cans when it's a non-smoking room. We did ask for different rooms and found similar items. We had to leave the hotel and find a different one. Normally don't have a problem with Holiday Hotels however this one needs some help.
Mold on bread!
A holiday Inn just opened here in Roswell, New Mexico and was pleased to hear it had a bar and grill. We went to try it out, had a few drinks and ordered a slider plate and a salmon BLT sandwich. Half way through the Salmon BLT I noticed mold on the bread. Spoke with the waitress who apologized again and again. What we did not see was the cook to come out and apologize for the mold. The waitress took care of the charges but we were disappointed with how the whole situation was handled with your cook. I believe the cook needs more training with customer service.
Insulting Advertisement
I recently saw the Holiday Inn commercial where the father solves Coleman's Enigma, and then proceeds to snidely remarks that his daughter is a dance major. As a dance major at a major university myself, who is on the Dean's List, I found this commercial incredibly insulting and degrading to a very difficult art form that I have dedicated my life to. I will no longer be staying at any Holiday Inn ever again because of this.
Bed Bugs
My wife stayed at the Holiday Inn in Enfield/Springfield ct on 7/ 18 / 11. She woke up at night feeling sick to discover there were bed bugs on her person. She was bitten many times. Management verified through their pest control co. the room had many bed bugs. Other rooms were also found to have bed bugs. We have had on going medical bills to this day. Have had to hire an attorney...

I am currently fighting with iHG the company who owns holiday inn about getting reimbursement for a week stay at one of their hotels where my wife and I were plagued with bed bugs the whole week. On our honeymoon mind you.. Needless to say , ihg and holiday inn just gives us the run around and is trying to sweep us under the rug! I will be posting pictures , evidence , doctors reports And dialog from contacting them. Its horrendous what treatment we are getting And ive had to hire representation to sue them to get our money back. My wife cant even look at our pictures from our honeymoon without crying ... Disappointed
The hotel in Soho New York is run down. We had to ask for fresh sheets and towels and make our own bed. Just every corner of the hotel is dirty. The food was grease spoon. A motel could do better. Never again will we stay at a Holiday Inn.

Rediculous
I'm staying at the holiday inn in Georgetown off of Wisconsin avenue and their systems have been down for almost two hours. Just now making an announcement and trying to figure out a way to help. They have been nothing but rude to us and not informative at all. Karen was particularly rude and didn't help us at all!!!
Des Moines Holiday Inn Beware
My wife and two kids stayed at this Holiday Inn last weekend and what a mess. There is no hot tub, no heat in the pool, and worst of all no security at all. I parked our car in the underground parking lot around 11:00 in the evening. I noticed many Latinos in flannel shirts that were all the same color being loud and so I waited for them to pass. A few minutes went by and some of these guys were squeelling their tires around the lot. When I went to enter the hotel via the dark parking garage I noticed that the card reader that was supposed to be in place for security reasons didn't work at all. Anyone could walk right in from the dark parking garage and onto the elevator and in your room without anyone's knowledge. This was the worst accommodations I've ever stayed in and we didn't stay very long there, just enough time for a couple hrs rest. I forget Don't try to take a bath unless you are old enough to work a tub drain with a foot on it. Most of them never worked and you had to pry them out with your fingers. Well this was no exception, flashback to growing up. I would give this Holiday Inn a 10 for the worst place to stay. I have to be back In Des Moines this weekend but won't make the same mistake again by staying there. Could have spent half as much at another hotel that would have provided us with some security, heated pool, maybe a hot tub, and modern fixtures other than the sign on the building. I grew up thinking Holiday Inn was respectful, safe, clean, and a person felt welcomed when staying the night. What happened to the Holiday Inn?
TV not working during our first night's stay. My wife was taking a shower and the water stopped working (it came on about ten minutes later ). No way to treat a priority club member. Especially one who owns a corporation whose employees are also priority members. Great way to lose business. I would be very surprised if I or anyone else on this site get a response. I have been staying at Holiday Inns since 1975 and I must say the price has risen but the quality has fallen!
