I have been to the Pittsburg PA store near the mall many times, usually at lunch time and it is always CLEAN, the food is hot and tastes great. The employees are nice and they act like they are glad to be working there. I saw a lady there who I guess was the manager, hugging and talking with the old folks when they come in. It was good to see someone so friendly and kind to the customers and making sure they were able to get what they needed. Maybe Golden Corral corporate and all the other managers need to take some lessons from their employees at that store in Pittsburg. Whatever they are doing is certainly the best in my book. Why can't they all be like that?

At my last visit with our friends and their families on Sunday 31July at Golden Corral in Ft.Myers we had the most horrible dinning experiences as far as customer service is concern.We were set by the manager in charge at a certain area with three tables behind the bakery.We were just settling at our tables when one of your servers start taking her shoes off in the main dinning room area and the other servers were laughing at her. It is outraging that we had to wittiness your server that with no shame or concern for us as customers was getting comfortable taking her shoes off and arranging her socks. We had dinned in numerous places in US and abroad and never had seen such horrible behavior from any of the restaurants staff. We had moved in another dining area and to our surprise the same server that had publicly offended us became our server.I wish our horrible experience had ended here but it only got worst.She lacked professional appearance , her blouse was lifted to reveal her tattoo on her lower back , one thing we did not need to see unless we were dinning at the tropical beach place were all servers wore bathing suits.At all times we were with out drinks and the table was never clean of our dirty plates.We had to ask the other servers for drinks , and fortunately we had got one of your other servers that was very professionally and every thing we would expect from a server( unfortunately we do not remember her name , but she has blonde hair and spoke with an accent).We had left her a $ 10.00 tip that she did not want to take , but we insisted , because we were not going to tip our original server not even a penny.We did complain about the tattoo to the nice lady , and she suggested we should talk to the manager in regards to that matter. We wish Golden Corral would hire more professional servers and provide more classes on customer service , professional appearances and maybe keep only the employees dedicated to their jobs.Also maybe the managers on staff should pay more attention to their employees and their behavior in the dinning room area . This should bring to their attention that when you serve a good food you should provide the same good customer service. One unsatisfied customer that is willing to return once some changes are made , because your food is good .

My husband and I went out to eat at the Golden Corral on 288 in Denton,Tx.We were very disappointed in the food there.The meatloaf was awful,the potroast was dry,the crutons for the salad were soggy.Alot of the food trays were empty,and the serving lines were nasty.I was going to get some ice cream and the machine was so nasty looking,it ruined my appetite.To pay $28.00 I expected alot better quality of food.We would have ate better food if we had gone to McDonalds.We won't go back!I would like our money back!

Golden Corral, VA - BRISTOL - 3104 LEE HIGHWAY - 689 ...The family and I ate at the Bristol, Golden Corral, last night, 072411, in my opinion; it was the nastiest restaurant I have ever eaten at. Golden Corral is where we prefer to eat. Please get someone to clean up this place or maybe someone will get sick from eating at this particular location. We looked for some reviews before entering and we found evidence that it got terrible reviews back in 2008. We figured in three years the place should have made the adjustments (WRONG). I wish this could have been a good news story.

can this place get a zero star.. BERLIN NJ RTE 73 manager was rude.. no food no silverware ... that manager had an attitude because he had 2 buses come in and he couldnt handle the crowd! there was a fight going on also in the place.. the food was so bad I wouldnt have feed my animals it.... thats why its only 10 to eat!!!and the place was so dirty!!! ew and the desserts omg nasty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!look at all the reviews most are bad seems this place will be going out of business soon Im surprised its still around.. The owner and manager need to take some kind of class to learn how to deal with the public if you dont like your job than get Out of it....check your nastiness at the door....

The Golden Corral store number 797 at 2701 West Vine Street in Kissimmee Florida I had went there for dinner with some friends, they paid to have dinner then when I got to the register I asked if they has baby back ribs, Vanessa who spoke broken english said NO! And asked me for my $10, I said for what I am not going to eat here I was just going to sit at the table with my friends until they finished eating. She said NO you still have to pay even just to sit at a table, I asked her to call a manager over she yells over the loud speakers for Steve, a few minutes later Steve protrudes from the kitchen area and approaches me and asked what the problem was, I explained to him the situation that I was going to wait for my friends to finish eating that I was not eating because I wanted some baby back ribs. That Goofy bastard also wanted the $10 from me just to sit in the restaurant, he said. That's our policy and marched his ass back to the kitchen. Well I did try to explain to him that I was a local and have been going to Golden Corral for 20+ years, I didn't matter to him it was all about the $10 and no customer care. Well my friends stayed and ate there dinner, I wasn't giving that bastard the satisfaction of getting my $10 dollars I would have rather tossed it out the window of my car while driving down the road then paid it to them.

I have been a customer of Golden Corral in Middletown ohio since it opened. The manager is excellant and aims to please. The servers are excellant and that is what keeps us going back. Recently we noticed one was no longer there and found out she was fired due to a secret shopper giving her a 5 out of 12 on her shop. She had been employed with them for 9 years. I couldnt believe that they would dismiss her for that reason. I asked the manager and he would not comment on the dismissal. I called corporate in Cincinnati and told them I couldnt believe they would fire her over that. I then asked to speak to someone over the 2 I spoke to in customer service. They suggeted I talk to the general manager over that location. He never returned my call so I asked to speak the the Ceo Craig Maier. Today The customer service person called me and told me neither Jace Sticdorn or Craig Maier wanted to speak to me and felt I was harrasing them. What kind of corporation would handle a situation like this. I have been a long time customer and felt I deserved to be heard but apparently the customer isnt important to them nor is their employees. I called 5 other well known restaurants and spoke to their managers and they said they would never fire anyone for that reason and that they would bring up the shop and let her know what she got but certainly would not fire her. I dont know if this the all of the Golden corrals policy or just the Cincinnati locations policy but for sure it is very unfair. I would recommend to anyone not to work for a corporation that treat dedicated people like this employee was to ever work there. I cant imagine the stress that these workers are under wondering who is next to be fired.

Ate at the Golden Corall 3months ago, bad service, dirty food caked on clean plates, crumbs on the table and floor where we were seated as well as a foot long hair in the cold, crusted meat loaf my husband was getting ready to eat!

I went to your store in Aberdeen, NC; on June 18 for an interview, and was directed to have a seat at at table, because the managers had a meeting. I sat waiting for 2 HOURS!!!!! . I sat there patiently for a manager to talk to me. It seem like an eternity went by. The only person who asked if I was o.k. was a server (Deborah. It was not until later that another manager (i Presumed he was the G.M.) came to talk to me. He said" i will go and find the kitchen manager" So he left. It was not until another 30 minutes that the kitchen manager came up to me. first off,I could tell that he was not interested in talking to me. I noticed when he walked up to me, he paid more attention to a white female server(winking and blowing kisses at her), than trying to talk to me about getting the job. Secondly, when he did "interview me", if I can call it an interview, he went into a rant about what type of work they do at GC and the type of work I do at my previous job. What the two companies do in volume of business is not the point, the point is they had a few openings and I felt like I was qualified for the position and should have gotten that position. I had so much to to say, but at the end of the bogus interview, i could not say anything, because I was very offended by this manager. This person should not be a manager. Please take the time out to investigate this matter.

WE WERE AT THE HERMITAGE TN RESTURANT, PAID $45.00 TO EAT BREAKFAST, THEIR WAS NO FOOD PREPARED, THEY WERE STILL TAKING OUR MONEY. THE MANAGER WAS IN A SEPARATE DINING ROOM NOT DRESSED IN HIS WORK ATTIRE. WE ASKED TO SEE A MANAGER TO GET A REFUND. WE WERE NOT THE ONLY PEOPLE ASKING FOR REFUND, THEN HE INFORMED ME HE COULDN'T REFUND OUR MONEY HE HAD A POLICY THAT HE WOULD PUT IT BACK ON OUR DEBIT CARD, WHICH TAKES THREE TO FIVE DAYS. WE WANTED REFUND TO GO ELSEWHERE...THEIR WERE PEOPLE WAITING AT THE HOT BAR FOR FOOD AND IT WAS BARE, NO SALAD SETUP YET. THE EMPLOYEES WAITING ON TABLES SAID THEY HAD 2 OR THREE PEOPLE CALLED IN. THAT SHOULDN'T SHUT DOWN THE WHOLE PLACE, THE MANAGER SHOULD HAVE TOLD CUSTOMERS NO BREAKFAST DUE TO LOW WORKFORCE AND NOT TAKEN OUR MONEY. NOTHING WAS BEING DONE. WE WAITED 45 MIN FOR FOOD GAVE UP AND WENT ELSEWHERE. HE SAID HE HAD LONG LINES BE PATIENT, THEN WALKED OFF. THERE WERE NO LONG LINES AT ALL. AS A MATTER OF FACT PEOPLE AT REGISTER WERE INQUIRING WHY EVERYONE WANTED REFUNDS??? WHAT A MANAGER. NEVER BEEN TO A RESTURANT THAT DID NOT HAVE FOOD. ALSO THERE RATING WAS 86 AFTER A REPEAT VISIT FROM INSPECTORS!! THEY HAD VERY STAINED UP DRINK GLASSES AND I PICKED UP PLATES THAT WERE GRITTY WHAT IS GOING ON, SHOULD CLOSE UP CLEAN UP AND FIRE THAT MANAGER. I went to the Golden Corral location in Westland Michigan for the first time on 02/26/2011 and was very happy with the food, so much that i put a $200.00 deposit down on a $928.12 catering order for a wedding that was going to be on July 2,2011. but things happened, so on June 13th i called the Manager Dave i wanted to cancel, and get my 200.00 dollars back, he was very rude to me, he told me that i could not have a refund, eventhough the bill that i have says nothing of the sort, which i informed him of.He then sated that it was no need for me to talk to him, it was up to him and he is not giving me my deposit back,he also said that the only person that i could speak to was the owner that was out of town at this time. He was very rude.he would not even give me any numbers to call to speak to anyone about this . I am very upset, so i called another golden corral and this manger even though this had nothing to do with his store gave me corporate's number, which was more than the westland mgr would do. If i had something that i singed that stated no refunds that cool. but i dont, and i want my money back. How can he keep my money when it is 3 weeks before the event that he has not even order the food for where is the loss on this store's part? what have they lost besides a customer, is it worth my 200.00 dollars that they are trying to keep.

Spouse and I went to Golden Corral in Sacramento Ca, 7700 Stockton Blvd for senior early bird special which is 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. We arrived at 3:55 P.M. The cash register indicated 4:03 P.M. and it was actually 3:57 P.M. by our cell phones and watch. The manager said they went by the time on the receipt and there nothing he could do about it. We felt ripped off. Golden Corral need to synchronize the cash register to the correct time. We noticed another person had the same problem in June 2009 and the problem has not been resolved.

Golden Corral senior early bird special is 2:00 P.M.to 4:00 P.M. My spouse and I arrived at 3:55 P.M. The cash register receipt indicated 4:03 P.M. Our cell phones and watches indicated the correct time as 3:57 P.M.when we paid the cashier. We explained to the manager that the time was not correct and he said he could not do anything about it. The buffet needs to synchronize the correct time with telecommucation, internet, television and media. We go there often. We feel that we were ripped off. There was another similar situation in June 2009 posted for review and it appears that the problem has not been resolved

To who it may concern My wife and I just went to the Golden Corral at Fort Wayne Mayszille RD. 6/06/11 The food and conditions there were terrible. The bread was left ot and under a heat lamp that made it harder than a Rock! The Buns were smashed in very bad condition as well as very hard well! The entire desert era dirty unclean and food was on the Floor. The salad looked old and was not cleaned properly The baked Potato's were not washed and still had mud on them. The chicken was not cooked fully and was cold in the middle. I could go on as to the terrible service and other food conditions!!!! However I will leave that out for now and speak about the reaction I received from the MANGIER when I as well as several others in my party brought these things to the attention of the Manager The Manager smiled at us and Laughed saying he understood well doing nothing to rectify the problems we sat there for an hour waiting to see if he would get some one to take care of these problems and Not one was addressed . The milk was warm the To co meat over cooked and burned people were getting up and asking for their money back and the Manager refused to comply well saying he understood the situation well doing nothing . Then he after an Hour was over playing with a coworker well his customers were dealing with the problems I called him over one last time and stated I would be contacting your office . To this he shrugged his shoulders and said well have a nice day sir. Then he laughed and walked off. Look I work in food service for five years in the Navy and if I ever did or acted like that my Galley would be closed down with out question!!! There are several food safety violations here at this location not to mention the entire staff including the manager needs to be retrained in food prep and over all cleanliness!! I will be contacting the health department . Over all review Super poor beyond anything I have ever dealt with in any kind of service very angry and would like a response back!!!!

Golden Corral should list their hours on line, or record them on the phone - example: "Our hours are: Weekends - Open from _____ am to _____ pm Weekdays (Mon-Fri) - Open from _____ am to ______ pm " I have tried to telephone them (early) on the weekend and again today (Tuesday) morning at about 9 am, and no one (not even a recording) answers the phone either time I called so I can find out their hours. They are not listed ONLINE. I have to find out their hours, as we are planning to go their on Father's Day and I don't know if I should say we will meet their at 10 am, or 11 am, or even 9 am. I need a clue. Do you know that in North Carolina, they open for breakfast at 7:30 am and I wish they would at least open around here, in Illinois, by 9 am. - especially on weekends.

I have sent menny mesages to your company you have manny people in newengland that love your company I have located a area by phesant lane mall that would be good I think If you give me a chance to show you the area pluse a cupple of outhers I think your company could grow in this area also I know a few people that drive almost 200 mils jus to go to your resteraunt in springfild ma give me a call 603-438-0536 thanks Darrell Lavoie
