In this case operating covertly, is better suited to the business ethics of this underground, poorly ran franchise. If this is all a mistake, it can be corrected... By delivering an affective blow in the opposite (right direction.) Start by Removing & replacing the offensive commercial with something realistic, that caters to everyday life. Clearly, the advertising agency, and the decision makers missed that point. We're talking about food.... "Not an extreme sport." Even if extreme sports were the subject of the pitch, the storyline was a flagrant mistarget. I haven't any reality on frequenting buffets, but I am a consumer. And as of now, Golden Corral and it's advertising team ranks #1 in... "How To Kill A Business."

Me and my husband , and my son and a friend, to celebrate my husband's birthday, We went to the one located in cary, nc, we arrived just about 2:45 pm, we wanted to have lunch, because we had seen the advertisement on tv, about the different wings and the mini burgers you had , they didn't have any wings, burgers or fish, a lot of food containers was empty, we had to wait at least an hour, and the food still wasn't ready, we wasted time and money, we could have gone to red lobster and been happy, that's false advertisement, about the different foods, we goes there , and there were no food , I actually came back with and empty plate, that was very bad, a lot of people were complaining, that's the first time I know that that has happened, but I think everybody money should have been given back to them.This was on Friday March 30, 2012.

The GC in Hermitage Tennessee is usually good. Today however, and for the last several times, we've had bad service. My husband went to order a steak at the steak buffet and was told 10 minutes for a well done steak. He goes back and is told by the same person, a manager no less, that he gave it to someone else, wait another 15 minutes. As if that wasn't bad enough when he went back to get the steak...no steak. It took our very sweet waitress to get a steak well done and he even tried to tell her to wait for it!!! He has refused to wait on my family numerous times, but he's a manager and nothing gets done to him. Furthermore when my husband and daughter goes for ice cream, there are no cones. They say they are out. So, they get a bowl and go for a spoon. NO CLEAN SPOONS. There is ONE dang spoon in the entire place and it was FILTHY!!!!! I pay $30 of my hard earned money to eat somewhere I want some damn silverware to eat with, and clean at that!!! The plates were filthy...took forever to find one that was clean! GC sucks!!!

Everyone commenting on this page is either blind, crazy and/or biased! Hasn't anyone ever seen the Golden Corral commercial where 2 black people jump out of the rear doors of a car driven by 2 whites? If that's not BLATANT racial discrimination, I don't know what is! For me, it solidifies the racial complaints employees have filed against this company. GC has been running commercials in LA for about 2 years! The only problem, besides an obvious (to me anyway)racial anti-black attitude, is the fact they have NO restaurants here! This is one screwed up company to say the least!

I would like to complain about the rudeness of the wait staff and the manager of the golden corral in colonial heights va. area. Your stores will suffer if you don't get the people to treat the public with common curtesy. I will not spend my hard earned money at a place that cannot give everyone the same treatment. My money is green just as everyone else's is. Your food is okay but it is not the only restaurant in town. One thing I do know, cheap is not always good, and your food is not good enough for me that I would allow myself to be treated as a second class citizen!!!

The store in Clarksville, Tn. is the worst!!! Myself, my daughter and son-in-law ate there yesterday, if you can call it eating. The dishes were filthy, the food was non existent and not fit for my dog to eat!!! My daughter got a piece of barbecued chicken that was raw. One of the servers actually ran me over with the dish cart because she was flirting with a customer and not paying attention to what she was doing. Hit me in the back of the legs and I almost fell. She never even apologized. All three of us became ill after eating there. Felt like I had swallowed razor blades and all I ate was a baked potato and a piece of pizza which was so greasy it dripped onto the plate. Never again will I patronize this business!!!!!

I have left a email last week re: what happen at your location srore #0795 in Glen Burnie Md. on /6/12 at 1:42pm,$18.09, I have never seen so much confusion at a buffet such as yours it was a Mess, No Food people Yelling, at the mangers, and the staff saw that they had a problem, alo of peolple had lefted Golden Corral befroe we arrived, everyone had to get a refund back everyone had to go eles where to eat, and no one one was alerted what was really happen, as if we were all just to sit there like good little girls and boys, one of the waitress was almost in tears for people yelling at her, and it seem she colud only say so much ,I took my sister there for lunch on that day 2/6/12 to let her know how nice it was, and how emmbrassment did I feel, I would like for ms Parker to call me ASAP!!!!! re: this matter at my hm 410-833-1518 anytime, and I feel we all should have dinner on Gloden Corral after all it was Glodlen Corral dishonesty with there customers, my email is turner1949@hotmail.com

i worked at gc for over a year. helped open a new store and worked my butt off sometimes 50 hrs a week. when business slowed down so did the hours. after working so hard and never late, never call out, i was "let go". the reason? poor production. all well and good but never written up, never spoken to about such offense! the truth is after the store opening they started hiring illegals and realized that they would work for minimum wage and had LOTS of friends. eventually almost all of the workers were spanish! they treat their employees like garbage! the meatcutter would come to my kitchen and say "don't eat the chicken today, it smells really bad and they're making me use it anyway" i never ate there again!!! port saint lucie, florida

I have been working for golden corral now for about 5 months since grand opening it seems every week management have their favorites when it comes to scheduling I will probably end up leaving due to lack of hours.

I just watched an add by golden corral that is obvious a racist commercial. It depicts both white people and black people in a negative way. I can not believe that a business would desire to publish such a racist commercial. An apology should be issued on prime time and those responsible should lose their jobs.

The women at Franklin Ohio are being mentally amuse and their dignity disgraceful. They can't call and leave their name because the fear of being fire. The have called HR and wrote letters numerous times and they are ignored because of its not sign. So I'm appealing this time to the Human Rights Commission and a few senators. The women boyfriends and husband are outrage. They have this old guy Jerry making Gregg make the women miserable. Almost everyday one is wrote up for something those too made up or some rule impossible to keep. I afraid if not already they might blackmail one into raping them. Yes its that bad. Everything they get feedback from a complaint that place is a living hell for them. No human especially women should be treated less than human. They are afraid to call the cops cause they might get beat up or electrocuted. The bottom line is Golden Corall is trying to sell and they trying to treat people mean to get rid of them. They taught them, make sexual advances, try looking down their blouses, make waitresses to odd jobs which is IRS reason for procecution against Golden Corall. Please if you have any compassion for people you'll investigate these complaints.

The Golden Corral #2446 of Houston, Texas food was not up to par at all and was kept at below minimal temperatures per Harris County Health Department regulations. This place should be shut down ! Also, found the manger drinking in the area where the food was ??? she was not dress to say she was the manger of the golden corral, when i told the manager i want my money back she was very nasty with how she was profming her dutis at the time and told me and my chil we need to leae now and i ask her for my receite she told me it was her's to keep and i explain to her i have a right to my receipt the Manger you have to leave and i was about when she said i to pay for the drinks and i was done about it. We recently ate at the Golden Corral on 22nd and Columbus in Tucson, AZ The moment that we entered this establishment it smelled like "death" as if we were eating in the chow hall at a convelescent hospital. There was lettuce literally caked on the bottom of my plate .... eeeewwwww ! When you opened your restaurant here in Sacramento Calif, a few yrs. ago, I thought it was one of the best places to eat. In fact, I thought it was as good as the buffet on the Cruise Ship that I had been on a few months prior. The Food, Service, every thing was exceptional, and my BF Mike and I would eat there a few times a month. My BF Mike had a really bad fall at home and it had been a year or so since we had last eaten there. It was like walking into a totally different restaurant. There was food every where on the floor. Over half of the food selections where empty, and what wasn't empty, has sat there for so long, it was really dried out. But the worst part was the actual.food. Mike got a cup of clam chowder and took a few bites and said if tasted bad. I got a fried chicken wing and took a few bites of it without looking before I noticed it was Raw. I tried to show it to out waiter Alex, bit he just took my plate away and said nothing. I kept a piece of if and went to show the Mananger, and he said to me " THIS CHICKEN ISN'T RAW MAMN" I told Ken that " YES IT IS RAW, that I had a better piece to show but Alex, The that he had just walked with it". The manager got really angry and said as he was walking away, that the only thing I can do is to tell the kitchen staff. A short time after we got home. Mike became VERY I'LL. Vomitting and very nauseous, stomach ache and the sweats I paid $27.. For food that I either couldnt eat, or that I ate and got sick from. Readind some of the other reviews. It sounds like ttie is standard practice all across the Country. It looks like the Health DEPT. needs to be informed of this. 12/21/11 8:45pm 610/(Main&Buffalo Spdwy) location. I would like to make complaint about the quality of the food,service & non-concerning attitude of the manager. I spent $54.05 at this establishment for a good meal but instead in leaving with an upset stomach & very dissatisfied meal. I was served shrimp that wasn't cooked all the way so I had to keep the cook they are not done. My meatloaf was mushy, steak was very very tough & dry. I can keep going on on about the disastrous meal that myself & 3 other guest had. We tried several different food items. We had to wait & wait & wait for drink refills. We were there for about 20 mins. before just leaving. I went to complain to the mgr on duty & he acted as if it was joke. Personally i would like to have my money back, not a gift coupon because i will not be returning. Im not sure if anything will done of the situation but my number is 713-471-0113 traray

As a previous employee I im ok with just about everything but these power crazy owners and general managers I just spoke with the by far rudiest general manager named micheal from the pembroke pines location who gave me that attutide im nice only because I have to be she hung up on me 3 times and wen I called again askin for her last name she refused to give it to me... Now this is not the only person higher in ranks that feel they can do and speak however they please. As i said before i was an employee at the golden corral on commercial the general manager nehassie castro is one of th# best people I have worked for but the owners ruined that experience for me and I was fired for supposedly "slamming a swinging door" which is not possible.. I find it very unfair because not only did they ask other employees who cleared the situation but I was doing my secondary duties i was signed on as line/server but was brought in every friday saturday and sunday for waffles etc... While also doing the truck on mondays and thursdays I feel that instead of having a CSQ for the stores maybe these owners and managers need to be reevaluated because as I said working for golden corral was a good experience for me but for bosses to treat employees like crap is unexceptable the general manager micheal in pembroke pines didnt know I was an employee and treated me like that which doesnt give the company a good look

November 27, 2011 I was never more disgusted and made so sick to my stomach in my life. I always thought Golden Corral to be a very nice family orientated business. I was shockingly wrong!!! I went to use the ladies restroom and as I opened the door a waitress (who, for the time being will be unnamed)and I witnessed the cruelest action take place. A woman had her son backed into the corner of your restroom and then, as hard as she could, kicked this "could be 4 year old" child in his leg so hard his glasses flew off his face!!!!!! He cried so hard and so did we. Here's the punch in the gut.....when brought to your manager's attention, she simply replied that they could not get involved. WHAT?!! Is the protection of children and the address of abuse not important enough to your company to protect that poor child and possible others. I thought the manager to be a sad ass coward. so, I write you. will you investigate and reflect on video this woman? I will find out if nothing is done, after that I will go to every news station and put your business on the street!!!!! GET BUSY!!!!! WE ARE PREPARED AND HAVE MORE THAN 4 WITNESSES. I hope it doesn't come to that but for any child, I am more than willing to step forward and protect as best I can. How many children have to die because people just like you and I ignore the things we see.......

i butter in my coffee at start of location to the place. manager hot spill on me oww. hot coffee hurt of the make and me cry. i burned badly. make baby cry and baby cry manager scream and mother go in corner and cry with baby and leave. manager said she had nice ass. i was sad and ran out the door and cry and he laugh. this is not nice.
