employees showing up to work drunk and causing a scene! sacramento ca, called corporate offices and was yelled at and questioned by the lady wh oversees that area! kids running around restraunt with no supervision, ran into my 1 yr old daughter and employees! The food was always empty and was given excuses that they are busy and are cooking it, wow 3 different times!! And best of all lady at corporate yelled at me( THE CUSTOMER) and questioned me about what employees looked like and names, hmm maybe if they wore name tags!! AVOID THIS PLACE, RUDE, AND DONT CARE AND EMPLOYEES SHOW UP DRUNK AND CAUSE SCENES IN THE RESTRAUNT!!!!!!!!!!

I just want to see if there is any plans in the near future to build a Golden Corral here in Midland, Tx. Every time we want to go eat at a Golden Corral we need to go to Odessa, which is about 30 miles away, and it's always packed. If it's at all possible, we would like to have one here in town. Our city would be a great place for restaurant with the caliber as Golden Corral. I greatly appreciate your consideration. Thank you for your time.

I went to the golden corral with my family for dinner.im was having some medical tests and couldnt eat anything for the rest of the day.the cashier informed me that if i didnt order anything i would have to wait outside while my family sat inside and ate.so i ordered a drink and was informed that wasnt good enough that i had to order the buffet in order to sit inside.i cant beleive they would treat customers like this.

the managment at golden coral is the most unprofesional staff I have ever worked for the abuse there authority and humilate there workers. they have stations broken down and cleaned by the workers there while the customers are in the resturante they use cleaning agents like liquid degreasers which has poisones label right on it while food is still being served the chemicals get all over the food in turn good people get sick the managers there dont care about nothing else there but getting out as early as possible becuase they are on salery and make there workers serve tainted food

i am a former employee of golden corral. i worked there for 2 months i love the jobs the other employees were out going easy to get along with and hard working. wheni first started working there i was not properly trained before beginning work and my co-workers helped fill me in on the details. i am a single mother of 1. i have not had a job in 2 years and was very excited to get back into the work place. the owner deb, all of the employees and scared of saying or looking the wrong way when shes there. i personally had no issus with her but her son john age 20 is a manager there he is very unprofessional he picks on employees he allows his favorites to leave early call in with no consequences. another lady who is a server daughter works there they are both hard workers but the daughter is unreliable yet no consequences because of her mother if you speak up for ur self they cut ur hours i am a single mom struggling to pay the bills i have i cant afford a cut. though this was not the issuse. on easter sunday i tried to request off but didnt get it we were told by management that if we didnt come in or stay late that u would be off the schedual. i stayed late missed easter completely. i stay late worked hard and was never late for work. the manager mike taunts and tease and calls the employees name on time he grabbed the employee name racheal by the arm she works the line and is also pregnant because she didnt want to work in the cold prep. for 3 weeks straight i worked 6days straight with only one off say and they only paid me for 5 and when i asked for a print out of my hours they were relentless to give them to me. on sunday i called in to work at 9:30 and then again at 10 still no answer then again at 11:45 i spoke with john i let him know i was not going to beable to come in cause i had no babysitter and he informed me that i might be written up and i apologized and said that was fine and hung up. i was worried about being written up cause i planned on that being the first and last time. we got paid on monday may 2,2011 i went to work checked the schedual and they had taken me off the schedual completly. no one told me i had been written up and when i asked the manager mike why i was taken of the schedual he said cause i called in with all of the stress from the weeks following and the fact that my check was short because of the screw up i quit. when i let the golden corral i was in tears and could not believe the event leading up to that but i would like for someone to contact me involing this issue. deyvada@gmail.com please and thank you.

My family went to your Sedalia, MO location for Mothers Day 5/08/2011. None of us will ever go back. It was unbelieveably dirty. I realize it was a busy day, but, the cashiers were taking money with no place to set, the food bars looked like children were in charge, empty and food all over them, floors were pathetic, the server was the only bright spot in the restaurant. From reading some of the other comments, you need to take a look and change.

3951 William Penn Hwy, Monroeville, PA Arrived at 7:30 PM for the first and last time. We got our drinks and paid for our meal were told to wait for a server who would seat us. Waited 30 minutes, watching servers joking around, texting on cell phones while the line behind us grew, there were plenty of empty available tables. A server walked by and said go seat yourselves.When we picked a table and went to the food stations half of the serving trays were empty, there was no Brisket out, very little meat if any except the fried Chicken which was being refilled every 30 minutes, I asked the manager why there was little food and his response was we ran out at 5:30PM, I said why didn't the employee who rang us up as we pre-paid for our meal inform us you were out of food?? We would have gone elsewhere, I said this is unacceptable he mumbled and walked away. The food is over salted undercooked and disgusting, the dishes were dirty. How is it that these establishments stay in business with all the complaints??? Some one needs to shut these places down, the Health Code Violations are Blatant!! Will never go back!!!!!!!

I have eaten at Golden Corral north of Seattle & it's been clean, friendly with good food. We always go to early bird about 3:45 p.m. Our family went to a GC in Orlando area over Thanksgiving & it was friendly, verrry busy with not so good food. I'm especially interested in pourchasing the bright colored dishes they use. I need the name f the pattern & a retail source. Can anyone help me???

My family and I go out to eat at Golden Corral in Georgetown KY about once a week, I enjoy the food & the service from the waitresses. One common problem keeps coming up everytime we visit its the manager RAY WOLFE. Everytime we go in there we see him belittling his employees & rolling his eyes at customers and employees. We even seen him put his hands on an employee and slam doors in their faces. Last time I knew it was illegal to put your hands on someone like that for any reason. If you want a good dining experince there I would suggest going there on Ray Wolfe's nights off which I believe to be Mon & Tues.

I was at the Westland Michigan Golden Corral. WHAT A PIT!!!!!! The floors are dirty, Management is very Rude I was told he is the owner. He is rude to his employees and customers. Needs to learn how to talk nicely to people. I will never go back there again. Fire Mountain or Old country Buffet are right up the road from there.

My daughter had dinner with her father last night, around 6 pm, couple hours later she start getting sick. Tried to call the place (2pm the next day) to let them know my daughter got sick, girl who picked up the phone recommend i should speak to the manager and put on hold for at least 15 mins, and can still hear their conversation that manager refused to go to the phone. what kind of a customer is that? Tried to call them back again and nobody will pick-up....HORRIBLE....RESTAURANT CARRIES FOOD POISONING & SALMONELLA!!!

I just had lunch with a co-worker of mine in Panama City Florida, and the way management speaks to the workers of this establishment is unreal! It's nasty, food was horrible and I'm just totally upset about this establishment! I could not understand why the management would ever talk to the employees like I observed! Spoke to them like they were animals! I will never go back to the establishment again!

TO WHOM EVER THIS CONCERNS OR IN CHARGE OF: I am TOTALLY DISGUSTED!!! What the ??? has Golden Corral @ 1301 E. Jackson Ave. in McAllen, TX become? I wanted to THROW UP in this place today. I have never, in so long as I have lived (53yrs old and that’s been a long time) tried to eat or have eaten in such a filthy place. Food all kind, ice cubes utensils all over the floor and never mind the staff chatting away as if there were no customers in the restaurant. All its' staff was just walking over all this filth on the floor as if nothing was there. The liability for this restaurant could have been seriously, really serious! I will never again go back to this place for any kind of meal……HUH!!! NEVER!!! I even took pictures of how dirty this place was at the time. My husband and I visited this establishment with the intent of having a good hot meal. BUT, there were no lemons only 5 yeast bread buns, no mashed potatoes, no corn a lack of many items on the menu. Being that it was 5:11pm one would think they were ready and fully stocked for dinner. WELL THINK AGAIN! The trays to carry ones plates are so old and broken. I took pictures of those trays on top of a counter's ledge, as all the staff that was chatting away and lots people were waiting for their drinks because there were no glasses as I mention below in line just before paying. The counter top were I was paying was so dirty with wet with soda, tea and gods know what else, I could not even rest my purse on it as I reached in to get cash from my wallet, and the clerk! Could have cared less, she just wanted the money. The plates were mostly chipped and cracked; my glass was all broken around the top edge so I had to use a straw so I wouldn't cut my mouth. There were no glasses to serve one’s drinks with; the plates were all dripping with water. WOW...I could go on and on.... I requested to talk to the manager, I showed him the pictures and he wasn't even bothered by my complaint. I know the health department would have truly closed this place at their eyes first glance. I have attached the pictures I took. If this establishment keeps up its looks inside... believe me, it will go down very quickly. I even posted the pictures that I took on face book because of the response the manager gave me. I don't know where he learned his manners either, because my 6 yr. old nephew can say SORRY! better than he could have. Other members of my family also have the same opinions about the cleanliness of this establishment. I have eaten at Golden Corral before, but tonight was the worst experience even. I was told that Golden Corral is now self serve. Big mistake. I won't go back, and I will not recommend GC to my friends. The Yuma restaurant is not set up for self serve. There is no refreshment island for refills for your drinks. An leaving the dirty plates to pile up until the customer is done is really nasty looking! The whole section was like that. So I know everyone in our area got lousy service. I asked for a refil, on my drink and the waiter forgot about me; or did he? I won't be returning. I sent my comments to the Daily Sun paper.

We have a large Real Estate group that has met at the Golden Corral in their private dininbg room once a month for the last two years.Last night we got there to eat and hold our meeting which is published in the Pensacola News Journal twice a week before each meeting and is also listed as our meeting place on our National website and a baptist church is meeting in there. When I ask the manager what was going on his response was they booked tyhe room. I explained this was not possible as we had the room for over 2 years on that night. He said we'd have to meet elsewhere that night a he would not ask them to move. I ask why not, and his answer was they had sent out invitation. I said so, we have ours in the paper? He said he was sorry and that it was their mistake but he would not ask them to move and that we had to move. He did offer to buy us a drink. We were not bought off for a glass of tea and felt like our business was not important to them and that our group was treated shabbly.After all we meet there every month like clockwork and they were a once a year thing he said. Who should have been asked to move?

We were at the local Golden Corral when we saw someone parked in a handicap spot that should not have been. Upon telling the manager he looked at me as if I were making a big deal out of nothing. I was told that he could only call the authorities and I told him that was what he was suppose to do. He walked away from me and when we walked out 20 min later the vehicle was still there, showing that the manager could have cared less about someone who is handicap.

Hey, Im in Bloomington Indiana, where my good friend works and was blatantly sexually harrassed by that stores GM David, dont know his last name but you do. So ill just dub him David the unprofessional, sexual harrasser guy who will soon be outta there in a hurry? Legally OF COURSE. Also this same idiot, talks down to all but his hot young female employes, who he reserves all his inappropriate comments I.E (UNBUTTON YER PANTS)and tuck in yer shirt)__(UNBUTTON YER PANTS) I dont think so. Bad things happen to bad people and corps. Like massive well funded lawsuits, my specialty. Remove him immediatly or you WILL BE SUED Immediatly. Also, dont you want your buisness to thrive, isnt that what its all about. With low rent GMs like David the unprofessional sexual harrasser guy at Bloomington Indiana store, youre failing miserably.
