I USE TO LOVE MY 02 AVALANCHE I HAVE DRIVEN CHEVY'S ALL MY LIFE INCLUDING 1991 CONVERSION VAN. THE ISSUES WITH THE AVALANCHE IS: REPLACED FEUL PUMP@56000 MILES 02 SENSOR AND CATYLIC CONVERTER MAJOR TUNE UP OIL PAN GASKET,FRONT AXEL SEAL,BOTH HUB BEARING ON FRONT, BOTH WHEEL BEARINGS ON BACK. POWER STEERING PUMP SEPENTINE BELT WITH PULLEYS BLOWER MOTOR FRONT DIFFERENTIAL REBUILT. THE QUALITY OF YOUR TRUCKS ARE VERY POOR AND ARE NOT DESIGNED TO DO 100,000 MILES MY AVE HAS 118000 AND I WAS TRYING TO KEEP IT. NOW I WILL TRY NISSAN OR EVEN AUDI. I NEED DEPENDABLE .NOT HEADACHE!!!!!

I Just purchased a 2005 GMC 3500 Dually Truck from Fairway GMC Las Vegas Nevada. I am from San Diego CA, I Had a trade in Vehicle, A 2004 GMC 2500HD That had 46000 miles on it and was in excellent condition. it had many extras on it, new tires, lifted, custom shocks, a Leer custom cap, custom surround stereo, garage kept and very clean. I needed a pickup that could haul my new fifth wheel trailer, because that is my home when I am not in combat or in another country. I have been deployed three times in the past 6 years and am getting ready to leave again. I am very upset and dissapointed by the transaction that just occurred with Fairway GMC. I had spoken to the sales rep several times about the GMC Truck they had for trade, I was told that I would get top dollar for my trade in and they would pay it off, ($1,012) plus I would owe them 10,000 dollars extra, I was also told since I was a soldier I would get a good deal and all my tax and license would be covered. None of this was true after I just drove 6 hours to Vegas. I was givin the run around and they even had nerve enough to pull the new truck I was there to buy in front of me and send a dealer with a man who looked like a buyer, and talk like he was gonna buy the truck if I didnt, later I saw the interested buyer working in the shop in the parts department. When I got the final bill, I noticed they gave me the least amount of money on my trade in, they charged me for my payoff on my truck and didnt pay for licensing or taxes on my truck. I ended up taking a loan for 13000 and still have to pay for tax and licensing. They new I was from out of state and came all that way, and probably wouldnt go home empty handed. I signed the paperwork and drove off. after driving back to San Diego, I noticed that the truck is not running right and making strange noises from the engine. The truck has 49770 miles on it and runs like dirt. I just want people to know that I am an American fighting man, protect my country and help those who cant help themselves. I buy GMC because it supposed to be the all American we support our troops company. I don't have a family of my own right now because I gave that up to defend our nation and be called upon at moments notice. I live in fifth wheel trailer because it easy to keep all my belongings in it, when I leave the country. I need transportation and a vehicle to tow it, now I dont even have a decent running vehicle or something to tow my home. plus I paid more money than I was asked to pay when we made the transaction, I was royally ripped off, and made the fool. If this is how we treat our service men and women who risks there lives to defend our great nation, than we dont need to see GMC raise or show our red white and blue colors when they advertise there product and make false statements that they support our troops.

On Feb 12, 2011 I leased a new 2011 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ from Selman Chevrolet in Orange, CA since the lease on my 2008 Equinox had been completed. During the first week of having the vehicle, the liftgate opened up three times when it should have stayed closed. I took the vehicle back to the dealership on Feb 19th to ahve the problem fixed expecting it take no more than a day to correct. A few days later I was notifed by the service manager that there was a Chevrolet service bulletin out about the problem and there were 348 Equinox's affected by the same problem. The service manager notified me the replacement part was placed on an "expedited delivery status" and it would take about 1-1/2 weeks to arrive and then be installed which could take up to a couple more days if the part didn't arrive as expected. I've tried Chevrolet's customer service people to get someone to authorize the overnight delivery of the part since Selman's General Manager agreed with me that the part should have been sent overnight. The customer service people either can't help or "are busy with other customers and will call back in a day or two". I'm now contacting the dealership that I'm coming in the get what little possessions I have in the new vehicle and they can have the vechile back. I'll find some other car company that wants to take care of their customers not leave them paying for new car they can't drive.

I own a 2003 Trailblazer. Was really happy at first, have always wanted a vehicle of this sort. It has just turned over to the 50,000 mark. You see it is not the primary car in our household. Honestly do not need this car and would like to get something else smaller (hybrid) easier on gas etc..... This vehicles electrical is staring to go out as far as the keyless door locks, the lock for hatch has to be opened operating the driver door controls. The lock while hatch is open continues a recycle noise. Like the lock is locking and unlocking constantly, can be quite annoying and also makes one wonder how long before it locks and stays locked!!!!!!! Or vice-versa. This only the superficial issues......Gotta love the dash gauges and idiot lights!!! The only correct gauge is for mileage/speed and hopefully the gas gauge. Everything is always working anywhere it wants in its little space, ie. the thermostat is completely spun around and will come back to the beginning for proper reading, the battery gauge has done the same thing, once in a while it drops back to wherre it should and then stay for proper reading, then all of a sudden itrs spun all the way around too. oil gauge is also questionable.... service engine light is going on and off willy nilly. there is a clicking in the engine somewhere yet not a single mechanic has been able to find it!!!! i keep my vehicle maintained and recently had to replace the termostat unit even though the gauge does not work! But they found this problem when the car would not pass smog. I will never buy another piece of SHIT GMC/CHEVROLET again in my life. It used to be the best make on the road, hmmmmmmm like everything else in this country its gone to hell in a hand basket! I think the company owes me the customer some kind of compensation for trusting in their product that has only stated nickel and diming me before any other car that i have owned and driven nearky into the ground. This car will die before i can abuse it, By the way it has been paid off for two years and the troubles oddly enough began as soon as the warranty ran out. JUNK JUNK JUNK!!!!

My husband & I purchased a used Tahoe from NICHOLAS CHEVROLET in Garden Grove, CA in September 2010. We traded in my BMW and they took 3 months to send the payoff check to BMW. They canceled payment on their checks to them twice and my credit was negatively effected because of this. They had no problem cashing my down payment check within days. In addition to this issue, I still have yet to receive my registration for my new vehicle. It has been 5 months and the DMV continues to refer me back to the dealership for information as to when they will submit the paperwork! This has been a complete NIGHTMARE and I would NEVER recommend this horrible dealership to anyone...not even my worst enemy! The sales manager, and general manager never seem to be "available" for me to speak with each time I have tried to contact them. It is now to the point where I have contacted an attorney for legal assistance.

I own a 2007 cobalt with 68000 miles and now the door seals are rotting out and the dealer said that they are no longer under warranty. I have never had this type of problem with a chevy product before, and I dont want to pay for this myself. I am very unhappy with GM dont know if I will buy another one.

Let me tell you about Carl Black Dearlership in Kennasaw, Ga. the service manager john hemphill. first he was rude and he lies. I brought an transmission with 3yrs warranty. within the 3 yrs, that transmission went out 4x and 3x rebuilt. I had problem with the dealership in Marrieta, Ga before. I had to call the customer service 800 # so I can get them to help me to get my truck fix. 95 GMC Yukon. The transmission doing the same thing it been doing the last 3 times it was in the shop. they wanted to charged me 600.00 for an ECU first even before they start looking at the transmission. I was talking to the guy who was to do the work. Why he calling me when he should called the guy who they need to talk to. He been trying to call the dealership, and he couldn't get no answer. All I wanted to know why I have to pay $600.00 for an ECU, and will that fix my problem when nobody else could find and fix my problem the last 3x. What would be my warranty and do I get any guarantee that this fix my problem. He couldnt answer that, so i told him, I will just get me an lawyer. then we wanted to know why I wanted an lawyer. Just like why I have to 600.00 when my truck been sitting in your shop since tuesday and its now friday, and you never looked at my truck but me to give you 600.00 is why. I was hot. but when and told his manager I had crused him when I was in the room with my girlfriend. so I went looking online for legal aid. I told him ok, fix it and I will see about the 600. while online, I got an call from his service manager, and he start off lying. he said he heard the tape me cusing his tech. I told him that he need to go back and listen to his again, he didnt hear me cursing him not one time. then he said well I was told by 2 employees, and then said it was three. so what was it, a tape that you claimed you heard, or took statement for 2 or 3 employees. what was it. then he said come and get your truck now, we are not going to work on it. FIRST, dont call my house lying. as an manager, you need to know what was the problem first. as an Manager myself, he was rude, disrespectful, and not professional in his work. I was pissed, but I never cursed him either. So ya dont stop here. Keep calling any number and keep going. I even got an lawyer, and reported to an news station, and writting letters and sending them so they have to sign for it. Once I get there name, I will call and keep reporting my problem. Something need to be done about how they are treating they customer. I've been an Chevy GMC man all my life. I even got my dad to buy an 2010 GMC truck and I was looking to get me one after I get my yukon back. it may not be the best Yukon on the road, my its mine and paid for. They asked for 1 star for poor, but I give them an 0 for nothing. Top office need to get out there office and go to theses dealership who giving them bad service and work with them to try to make it better. What if we go online and tell, family, friends, and out customer how bad they service are, what will become of GMC. I WILL BE HEARD !!! they are stressing me out. this is my only way to and from work. if I lose my job, who will pay my bills. I paid almost 3,000.00 for that transmission and lost more then it worth. If they want to help me, give me a new transmission and 3 yrs warranty again. So if I trade it in, the next person wont have no problem with that transmission, even if I keep it and pass it to my son or nephew. I am sharing MY pain and my hurt. they think I'm stupid when I rebuild 3 chevy 350, one for me, and 2 for myself. that transmission cause my motor to high tech, when it dont shift from second to third causing my motor to act up blowing sensor. I never had any problem until I came to GA. beware of GA. they will lie and steal. they have an warranty to uphold and he wont do that. he cant refuse customer service, and lie. OMG he need help.if anyone have the number to the head man..... email me Rodney_Martin65@yahoo.com Monday, I will be making more call. I will go as far as I can go and get. when I do, you will know. I will win the lottery and buy me an GMC dealership, and I tell ya, ya can buy from me and get what you want. a happy customer is a great customer. they going you more business. bad service will will make them stop buying from you and go elsewhere for better service. they about a pay check and not helping customer. as long he getting paid, they ok. if they get an check by helping customer, I bet they would work harder to make money. they got our money and they need to do nothing and thats not right. I WANT HELP, FREEDOM, and BE HEARD !!! but I'm stressed, weak, and helpless with no ride to get to and from work.

I want to know why in the world everyone on the cadillac forum is having the same problems. Either the cadillac SRX isn't a good truck or either the technicians are programmed to damage another problem while getting one problem fix. It's either or. I feel like because enough posts are up to file a law suit, because this is nonsense. I like my truck, but it's causing me too much money to keep getting fix. You take it to the Cadillac Dealership, they really don't know. Well, the cadillac dealership in Raleigh, NC. I had no problems with the cadillac dealership in Florence, SC. When they fixed my problem/s they fixed it. So, tell me what could we do? My truck stopped on my last nite. Now, I have to pay someone to take me to work and pick me up from work. I'm telling you- you can't win from losing with the cadillac trucks/cars. Oh, and I didn't have my car for 3 years and it started giving me problems.

I bought a brand new 2008 Chevy Equinox Lt with 3 miles on it. Leather interior, chrome wheels, white and beautiful for 30K and within 1 year the chrome started peeling off the wheels. Had to replace front 2 wheels. The front grille starting turning white with spots. Had that replaced. Both front mirrors had to be repainted from spotting. Chevrolet emblem across the front had to be repalced from peeling. Fuse box under battery got hot had it replaced and to top it off now a lifter is clacking and the dealership (Butch Davis) in Ripley, Ms says they all sound like that. Bullshit I had a 2007 that did not do it. All they want is your money and then they don't even try to help you. I am 49 widowed with one son, 6 years old and it makes me sick to my stomach knowing that I am paying over 500.00 per month on a disability check and my vechile was a lemon to start with. Now I am about to start attorney proceedings because I want my 100,000 (free)Ha! mile powertrain to be used to fix my motor. Could someone from GMC and let me know about the lemon laws because my truck is not even three years old yet and may not make it to 4. Need help. Can anyone direct me to the MAIN MAN about my vehicle. The Government bailed them out why can't the customer be bailed out also.

I purchased a 2011 Cadillac SRX from Superior Cadillac in Kansas City Sept. of 2010. I have to tell you this is the best vehicle I have ever owned. Not only do I like driving it, but the features all work great including the navigation system. The sales person Joe Kongs took the time to explain and set up the vehicle for me. They even snyc'ed my cell phone to the vehicle. The service center at Superior Cadillac is great, I was having an issue with a tire sensor and they came to my work and got my SRX and took car of it right away. This place really cares about their customers. I highly recommend the Cadillac SRX and Superior Cadillac!

I have a 2003 cadillac DTS service engine lite on I took my car to Rizza Cadillac Tinley Park Ill. They had my car for 3 days trouble code PO101 Mass air flow performace code. Tom the Service Writer claims they clear the code and it was ready I pick my car up he told me it was ok for emmission test. I drove my car about 15 miles lite came back on.I called Rizza Cadillace back they kept it another 3 days Tom told me they the tech. and his forman tried everything and was on the phone with GM tech.. Now this is 6 days the Dealer had my car and was unable to fix my car. So Tom told me to call them to make arrangment to bring the car back. I found out that one of the checks for that code PO101 was to check the exhaust back pressure so I bought a vaccum gauge to check the intake vaccum and found the reading was so low so I took it to a repair shop and the tech. their check my exhaust system and found that the catalyst converter was clogged he replaced the converter and told me to drive it for a couple of days and the lite will go out. After a few days my lite went out no codes found and im OK for the emission test. TO THE GM CORP. I AM DISPLEASE WITH THE SERVICE THAT YOUR COMPANY RIZZA CADILLAC AND BUICK IN TINLEY PARK Ill,

General Motors was a prominent sponsor of the premiere of Skins on MTV. My kids and I are very close and they were anxious to see the show and told me that I should watch it with them. I am writing you today to ask you to defend your support of a program that glamorizes teen drug and alcohol use as well as irresponsible sexual behavior. Without the advertising dollars of companies like yours, programs like Skins could not exist. The advertising industry is premised on the assumption that viewers will be influenced by what they see on television. That influence does not end once the commercial break is over, which is why your support of Skins is simply indefensible. It is my sincere hope that General Motors will use its unique position as a sponsor to positively influence the content on Skins - or take your advertising dollars elsewhere, and instead support programs with content that supports, rather than undermines the values parents are trying to instill in their children. Failing that, your continued support for the content on Skins could only be viewed as an endorsement of the offensive messages on that program. As a consumer, I can not in good conscience support with my hard-earned money, a company that shares those values, and will weigh your corporate values against the corporate values of your competitors when choosing which vehicle I will next purchase for my family. General Motors products have long been our favorite cars to own and drive. With your name on my TV screen as sponsoring this outrageous program, you are forcing me to consider other brands of vehicles in the future! Not only that, I will be only too happy to pass my feelings on to my friends who have kids of this age -- and you can count on my insisting that my children do something else with their time besides watch this trash! Very Sincerely, Darryl Widman Santa Barbara

GM would sell every car in America if: You dropped the price of every vehicle, so people look at the sticker and say, "What?"; drop the price of all parts so low, no-one could compete. See, that was easy. Now that you have all the auto cash in America, throw in amazing customer service, and free tires for the life of any vehicle, I will buy two.

I would not have given 1 star if zero had been an option. My family has driven chevrolets my entire life and they have always been wonderful vehicles. I cannot say that that about the first one we have purchased. Firstly the day after purchasing our car we find out they are about $5,000 cheaper everywhere else, our fault for not checking around. Then 2 months after purchasing it breaks down, and a pattern occurs that every two months it breaks down give or take a month or two. We have had a rental car more than our own car and they refuse to fix the problem or help us to find a peaceable solution. It has come to the point where we almost just want to have it repoed instead of paying for a car that doesn't even work. We got the car because it is a family car and we had heard great things about it, once when it had to be towed it was cold out and once we got to the dealership my 3 year old and I had no way home and we lived 5 minutes away they were going to just make us walk home didn't even offer us a ride or anything a salesman saw us walking off the parking lot a nd went and got his car and gave us a ride home. So the one star I had to give is for that salesman. When we call they only want to get it fixed as fast as possible not help to find out why the car is such a lemon. GM is not a helpful company and has very poor customer service!!!!!!!!!

have a 2008 sierra pickup. have had it in the shop 28 times since i bought it new. the last time it was clunking in the rearend. gm has a tech advisor on how to fix it. they tried that after fighting them for 5 weeks. it is worse than before. i have dealt with gm corp office for 5 months now. they refuse to fix it, their smart idiots say its normal for a transmission to knock. the state of tx is after them, f.tc. is involved. all they have to do is replace the transmission under their 100,000 mile warranty but that will cost them money. ill take them to court with the state and feds backing me up. so far i have cost gm 3.88million in sales with companies i work for. they bought ford or dodge. gm said well sorry but their is nothing they will do. I HOPE THEY GO BROKE THIS YEAR

I purchased my 2009 Pontiac G-6 new. I have only owned it since May 2009 and 3 things have gone out on my vehicle leaving me stranded within a 6 month period. First, on Aug. 14, 2010 my left front wheel bearing went out. Second, on August 25, 2010, my car started acting funny. The radio would go full blast, my gas wouldn’t work and the speedometer would bounce anywhere from 40 to 140 mph and all over. After taking to the dealership twice, they were able to get a code and found out it was the speed sensor. Third, on Jan. 1, 2011, I was pulling out from a stop sign and my transmission went out. Now this was on a Saturday so I knew I wouldn’t be able to get a rental but I did expect to be given a car on Monday and that was not the case. GM didn’t get me into a vehicle until Wednesday and that was through Enterprise. I work Mon – Fri and this was a big inconvenience. Transmission has now been replaced. I will never purchase another Pontiac!

We moved from Chicago to South Carolina when we retired. We have ALWAYS been a General Motors customer and have enjoyed great service from a number of different dealers up north. But since moving here, we do not have a reliable General Motors dealership available to us that cares what service they give to the customer. They charge for things that are not fixed and when calling the Buick Customer Care line, they simply tell me that the dealer will not discuss it and will not back down on the cost of over $400.00. I just took my Pontiac G6 convertible back in there for some warranty work and they would not even come over to the car to ask about the problem. What do I do to get my two GM cars fixed? Is my only option to drive into Charlotte and spend the day there? I thought GM was striving for good customer service since they almost went out of business.

I wanted to share my story with you if I may. I'm 59 and 2 yrs ago I lost my job, I've worked steady since I was 15. My husband has RA in 83% of his body, gets a disability ck & takes 11 different meds a day, my brother has colon cancer, his wife is also ill, my mother has altzhimers and is in a home. We lost everything some months ago, and moved to a trailer park, which I have found is an experience everyone should have at least one time in their life, as it will truely humble you and make you realize that the saying "All that glitters is not gold" and that "God will not give you more that you can handle" is very true, shortly after moving our car broke, and 1 mo ago the transmission in our 96 blazer went out. And we do not have the money to have them fixed or get one that runs. So at 59 I have to ride my bike to the store and church. I'm at the mercy of a neighbor who will take me to the pharmacy to get my husbands medications when needed. And I hate that because I fell that I'm imposing greatly on him. Our trailer has no heat (the thermostate for the heat is gone) so we use a space heater, after rent, elec, ins and meds we have about $65. a mo for food and such. Thanksgiving was a can of beefaroni and cheese sand. But you know it was delicious and I was with my husband of 37 years and we had a house to live in and electricity and a warm meal. Anyway when we moved in we did not have the deposit money but the owner said that they would work with us on it. we have been giving them what we can extra but it isn't brining down the balance fast enough I suppose because we were presented with a notice stating that they have allowed ample time for us to pay it, although they were made aware of what my husbands disability amount is when we signed the lease, but we just can't get it so they say they can evict us. I just can't move my husband again, the move here made him suffer greatly. These cold mornings and days he can barely walk at times so moving again is a painful fear for him. The deposit is $595. remaining from $650. and I'm asking if you can help me. I can deal with no vehicle, and a space heater but I just can't deal with making my husband have to move again and we are just not able to do it. We both worked for 40+ years and then the bottom fell out. The agencies that help are out of funds or not taking new applicants. If I could ask you for this I would be so very grateful. It's been so cold here and it hurts me to watch my husband of 37 years go through all this. The name of the trailer park is Timber Village. Could you help me please, I'm not in the habit of asking anyone for anything, but I have no where to turn. I expected to have a job by now but it hasn't happened yet. I keep applyingIf you can't help me I understand and if you can you would make the happiest person in the world. I don't like asking for help but I've come to the bit of bottom I fear. I want you to know that I'm not a mooch and I've always worked and paid my own way as did my husband until he got sick. As I said I've worked since I was 15 yrs old and we have owned homes and had things, and I am so embarrased to have to as for help. I've contacted some agencies but the ones I've spoken to either don't have funds or cannot take any new applicants. I've never had to look for help so I guess I'm not familier with the regulations and different reasons for not getting accepted. If you could help me in anyway with the deposit the name of the park is "Timber Village Mobile Home Park" they are in Worthington Springs, Fl. the landlord is Lessie Rhimes. I only need to get caught up, with them. I make my rent payment and things but I just can't get this deposit money. I've tried to sell some things but lets face it, what I have left is worth nothing anymore dollar wise. I've found that once you get behind you just can't get caught up. If you can help me I give you my word that I will never never ask again, and I would be eternally grateful for it. Blessings to all of you. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and I hope that 2011 brings you good things and peace of mind. Cathy Shockley PO Box 284 Worthington Springs, Fl 32697 davesmom75@yahoo.com (386-853-0642) but the phone is out of minutes right now and I don't have the funds to get more until later.
