ihave had gm car and trucks all my live BUT I WILL NOT HAVE ANYMORE GM . LIKE WE NEED TO PAY MORE FOR GAS SO YOU CAN SALE YOUR HIGH CARS NO...............NO MORE FOR ME

I had a gm cars I was mad they took oir tax dollars for bailout and I was puzzeled about it with a wait and see atatude then they claim they paid back the loan only to find out they go another tax payer loan to pay there first loan " do they really think that the public is rely that stupid " ? Your company is insulting the publics intelligence !!! Now I heard about them wanting to raise gas prices to force us to buy electric cars I sold all my company and personal cars and botughy "fords" I will never buy gm again ! I have printed and. Sent flyers to all my customers to stop buying gms and to get rid of they gm cars I have had overwheaing success with this effort "gm" keep messing with our money and I will gaurentee you will go under ! What are you thinking ? Martha

So lets just set the mood for this question---the American people bought your cars for at lleast a half century---you began to produce cars that made you huge profits and gave little or no value---pinto vega and the list goes on-----you lose so much customer interest that you then bilk the tax payer out of billions to keep your company ( lets call it the Golden Goose ) alive because without that tax payer you would have failed---that's what should have occurred---substandard product no sales and no buyers means you need to fail----but no Billions in Tax payer dollar later you latch on to " WE WILL EXPLOIT GREEN " you embrace the liers forcing this myth down our throats and VALLA you spit out the VOLT the PINTO of your new vision quest scam----now the people hate this laughable joke of a thing and you are lauding it like the KING with no clothes yet the people are not as stupid as you thought---they voted a joke into the White House but the jig is up----so now to force people to buy the your crap you want a DOLLAR added to the price of gas ---Really your CEO said that ---STUPID !!!!!!!

Re: 2010 Jayco Seneca (RV) w/Duramax 6.6L turbo diesel on C5500 series GM medium duty truck chassis. Earlier this month, the check engine light came on and stayed on as I was moving the RV to check tire pressures. I turned the engine off and followed through on the tire pressure check. While doing this, I saw a wire hanging down under the chassis. Crawling under, I saw the wire (a plug at one end and a probe at the other)was broken in two places. I called GM roadside assistance and the RV was towed to the dealer who worked on GM medium duty trucks listed in my owners manual. The service manager said the EGT (exhaust, gas, temp) sensor had been broken in two places. (This sensor is a wire protected only with a thin plastic sheath.) I asked how this could happen and the service manager said it could have been caused by road debris: rock, a piece of tire etc. Since the vehicle and the GM chassis is under 2 year warranty, I naturally assumed the work would be submitted under the warranty. It wasn't. I paid $424.64 for the repair. I asked the service manager why it wasn't submitted as a warranty claim. He said GM was "kicking back" most warranty work and therefore it wouldn't be worth submitting it as such. Continued questioning of the service manager about this and the why of it only resulted in his adamant refusal to submit it as a warranty claim. He gave me the number of GM customer service and I began the process of seeking reimbursement for what clearly should have been a warranty repair. As of this date (June 10) and after more than six telephone calls and talking to four GM customer service representatives I am still waiting for a positive response to my request for reimbursement. Each customer service representative took the same information about the vehicle, the problem etc. and asked why it wasn't submitted by the dealer as a warranty claim. I gave them the answer the dealer's service manager gave me. Each customer service representative I talked to said they would contact the service manager for additional information. After each GM customer service representative talked to the Chevy dealer service manager they called me back and passed me on to another person who repeated the same process! So far nothing conclusive has been done to refund the $424.64 I paid to have this damaged sensor replaced which should have come under warranty. My next step is to write the GM CEO with full documentation, photos of the damaged sensor and notes of my experience to see if he will pass this one to someone who will take appropriate action to resolve the matter, e.g., reimbursement. I will also CC appropriate consumer advocacy agencies, BBB and anyone else I think might be helpful in recovering this charge. Clearly GM needs to revisit this EGT sensor placement and somehow protect it from the possibility of damage by road debris. One simple solution might be to encase it in a metal tube that would sustain hits by road debris thrown up under the chassis without damaging the wire in its thin plastic sheath. If I can figure this out, why can't GM? I believe the EGT sensor is part of the emissions system. If this is so, the warranty on anyhing to do with the emissions system is under warranty for more than the normal 2 years.

I CONSIDER MYSELF THE AVERAGE TAX PAYING,LAW ABIDING CITIZEN.I HAVE BEEN BUYING CHEVROLET AND GM PRODUCTS FOR 35 YEARS AND CURRENTLY OWN 4 GM VEHICLES AT PRESENT.IN 2004 I PURCHASED MY WIFE A NEW HD-2500 DURAMAX PICKUP.AT THE TIME EVEN THOUGH IT COST CONSIDERABLY MORE THAN A COMPARABLE FORD OR DODGE AT THE TIME I FELT IT WAS WORTH THE MONEY.i HAVE HAVE DISCOVERED HOWEVER IT IS FULL OF SUBSTANDARD CHEAP MADE PARTS (THAT YOU PAY DEARLY FOR.tHIS TRUCK IS PRMARILY USED AS A CAR BY WIFE AND REALLY HAS NEVER BEEN USED AS A WORK TRUCK.WHEN IT WAS ONLY A COUPLE MONTHS OLD THE WHOLE A/C CONTROL UNIT HAD TO BE REPLACED.THE DEALER DID DO THIS UNDER WARRANTY AND NO COST BUT STATED IT WAS A COMMON FACTORY DEFECT.THEN AFTER 100 MILES OVER STANDARD FACTORY WARRANTY THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT WHEEL BEARING HUB NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AFTER JUST OVER 36000 MILES.I WAS FLOORED WHEN I WAS TOLD IT WAS ABOUT 750.00 TO REPLACE AS IT IS SEALED BEARINGS AND NOT SERVICEABLE.AS OF TODAY THE OTHER SIDE HAS NOT GONE BAD YET.I CONSIDER IT TO BE A LOW MILEAGE VEHICLE AS IT ONLY HAS 79000 MILES ON IT.YESTERDAY WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY TO MY SONS GRADUATION THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT WHEEL COVER CAME OFF THE RIM,LUCILY IT DID NOT HIT ANYBODY.THAT WAS MY BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT.WHEN I PUCHASED THE VEHICLE I PAID EXTRA FOR THE SO CALLED "CHROME WHEELS"WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE CHROME COVERS OVER STEEL WHEELS GLUED ON.LIKE I SAID WHAT MAKES IT BAD IS I WAS CHARGED (AND PAID)FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT RECIEVE.I NOW SEE WHY SO MANY PEOPLE BUY JAPANESE PRODUCTS.WAKE UP GENERAL MOTORS BEFORE YOU GO BANKRUPT AGAIN.

have 2005 Pontiac Vibe which I replaced the PCM myself then 6 mo later receive letter as to recall due to PCM malfunctioning. I sent in copies of all the work I had done on my car to verify it was the PCM, bill where I purchased PCM and was politely told: "THE PART I REPLACED WAS NOT ON RECALL!!!!!" Took my vehicle to 2 TWO GM dealerships and was told basically "Sorry about your luck" we do not have Pontiac franchise anymore. The third dealership told me Yes my car was on recall, ordered new PCM PLUS ISSUED REFUND FOR THE AMOUNT THAT I invested!!!!!!!!!!! Sharpnack Chevrolett in Willard OHIO has an awesome Service Team! Really did not expect a refund but Thank God That TEAM got it for me. What a shame two reps from GM told me that I did not replace the correct part. So now I have a new PCm plus Refund!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a "Certified" 2008 Cadillac Escalade 6 months ago from my local Cadillac dealer, to which it has been in the shop 9 times so far. I am no longer confident in the vehicle's reliability so I returned to dealership where I purchased it from, they made me an offer to take it back in on trade and buy another vehcile. The vehicle we are considering purchasing is almost identical however we will take a $7000.00 loss on the vehicle and have to pay another $4000.00 in sales tax. After being told to call Cadillac customer service they offerred a loyalty assistance offer of $1000.00 the only stipulation is that I have to buy a new Escalade which is roughly $30,000 more than the one we currently have. I find it so insulting that Cadillac/GM is only concerned about moving new units not building brand loyalty. We were about to purchase a new SRX, I will absolutely not be purchasing that vehicle now. I guess I will purchase a Lincoln MKX, I am not sure whether the Lincoln will be any better but I guess I will take my chances on the unknown! Another suggestion to General Motors would be to take their call centers on-shore. The communication barrier between myself and the customer service agent only added to the frustration.

I purchased a 2011 Chevy Equinox. The dealership added two charges which are not required by law or by General Motors to be charged to the buyer. 1) A Documentary Fee of 50.00 2) Dealer's Inventory Tax of 43.15 The invoice for the vehicle contains two disclaimers clearly stating that the Dealership is not required to make the buyer pay for these two charges, yet they were added to the invoice. When I asked the Sales Manager at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, Texas, he stated that GM audits the dealership and that the dealership is required to collect those charges. If so, then why do the disclaimers on the invoice state that these charges are not required to be charged to the buyer ??? It would be nice for someone at GM's corporate office to look into this because this way of doing business is very irritating to buyers like myself.

I have a chev cobalt 2007. There was a recall on the power steering. So i had took my car in to get it fixed. They fixed the problem. After they were done with it the tech had came out and told me that i had no back break lights. so I said well i had break lifghts before i came up here. He said that its a wiring problem. So as i was leaving i had turned my left blinker on it was blinking really fast like it was gonna go out. So i had got out of my car to look at it and the back one is out but not the front. So chev told me they did not mess with anything else except for the power steering motor. I said horse shit. I am calling the corporate office.

Well I thought I would write this note, to say Good Bye to all General Motors Products. I nor anyone in my family that I can convince will ever Buy an American Motors Product. The recent note sent to me saying the GM is building a New Plant in China, to produce the new GM engine, previously producted in America, was the last straw. Your Greed has cost you this GM family forever. Go sell you stuff to those who you are paying to make it. I will campaign forever against you and your Chinese Made Junk.

I have purchase 8 new Chevrolet vehicles in my lifetime. I bought a new 2008 Chevy Aveo from Stonebriar Chevrolet in Frisco, TX. It was November 2007 and the weather was cool. The car was "Air Conditioning Ready" (no A/C but allegedly pre-wired, etc.). The salesman stated that I could just wait until summer and spend the extra money for the A/C then. So, I bought it. Well, when I went back to have the A/C installed they wanted $2,500.00! That's about 25% of the price I paid for the car! It would have only been a few hundred dollars more if I bought it in the first place. Anyway, after enduring 3 excruciating summers in Texas, I decided to trade in the car. Stonebriar won't even give me Edmunds or NADA trade values and the car is in excellent mechanical and physical shape (even by their admission). This will be the last Chevrolet or GM vehicle I'll ever buy. I made the mistake of buying a Chysler product in 1983 and had the worst service from the dealership in my lifetime. I have purchased 2 Toyota Camry's and gotten great discount pricing and full trade-in value. Guess what I'll buy next?

Right rear wheel broke off the lugs on my 2008 corvette Z06, causing me to slam into the concrete retaining wall. there is no damage at all to the right rear quarter panel. GM's engineers, obviuosly they're not very bright, say it came off from impacting the wall. Amazingly there is no damage from impact anywhere near where the wheel that broke off. If GM will try to brush this off what will they do when the problem kills someone.

I have a 2007 Yukon, and my reduced engine message came on and the car would not move this all happening while my wife and kids were on the interstate, while driving 70mph the truck just stopped. All dealers I have contacted are all saying its possibly the throttle body which is about $300 if not than they have to replace the wire harness. They said its a problem part and sometimes they have to repair 3 or 4 different things to find the problem which after will cost me over a $1000. This is more of a safety issue than anything else, for the truck to just stop moving as if you applied the brakes in the middle of the highway is insane. After reviewing all of this online everyone is complaining of the same issues and no one at GMC willing to help.

I would give a 0 Star rating myself !!!! I bought a used 02 GMC Envoy . End of Aug. 2010 and Sept. 11th I was involved in an accident where we T-Boned a boy in the side because he done a u-turn in the middle of a two lane road in front of us an we hit this vehicle at 64 miles and hr. and no AIR bag deployed . I contacted Gm and filed a claim with them about the air bags and they sent out their team of EXPERTS and pulled the black box and said the didn't find anything wrong with the air bags and they turned on . That this was NOT the type of accident that they would expect the bags to deploy . REALLY !!!!!! LOL .!!! My front end was totaled , my windshield was busted and the hood folded back and steam coming out of it . It was noted in the accident report no air bag deployment and the ambulance report as well as the hospital . I have herniated disk at c_2,3,4,5,6,7 and T8-9 . as well as other problems . But am in the process of filing a law suit against Gm . I will take my chances with a jury !!!! . I also am submitting my photos of my car to Toyota and Ford and Dodge and others to use in their advertising to show the public what Gm says NOT to expect in accident on their vehicle's. It would have been so simple to just do the right thing from the start . !!!! I wish I could post a photo here !!!!!! If I find I can I WILL !!!!! THANKS GM MOTOR COMPANY !!!!!! FOR YOUR " ALL " YOUR SUPPORT AND COMPASSION !!!! I HOPE YOUR CEO'S GET TO SEE THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KIMBERLY WADE soldbykimwade@yahoo.com 606-422-7931 Attny . I bought a GMC Envoy XL in october 2009 from kaiser dealership in Deland, florida. Since I boought the truck I have several problems with the cluster, my speedometer would stick at 40 to 70 miles an hour in my driveway so I cant tell how fast I am driving on the road, the truck would cut off when driving or at the traffic light, the fuel gage would stick and not work and the oil gage would not work. This needs to be fix and general motors needs to put a recall on their product so that no one gets hurt or that their vehicle dont have any major problems. I need my vehicle to get fix.

I baught a 2006 Equinox from george Cheverolet in July 2006 this car has been nothing but trouble from the day I bought its always in the shop for the same reason always the engine light on. They have replaced the whole computer systems all air hoses and now they had to replace the cylinder Head. I think that Chevrolet shoul compensate me with something beside the trouble with it always being in the shop and the inconvience it has caused all the money I paid out to replace parts that I dont think its the problem I think that the car is just a lemon and I mean a lemon every year it has to have something replace.
