I have purchased a 2007 and 2008 Chevrolet Corvette from Champion Chevrolet in Tallahassee, Florida. The 2008 Corvette has had many problems. The motor started skipping, horn stoped working, rear end started making clucking noise, radio broke, the driver door panel fell off, front spoiler fell off, battery had a dead cell, both doors quit opening and so many other problems. As you know this is not a cheap car to purchase; however in my opinion the parts that went into making this car must have been. Anytime you call and ask for service they were very rude to me and my husband. While my car was with their service department the front right corner panel paint was damaged. This was another run around trying to get them to repair it. I even had an extra warrenty to cover any type of paint. They buffed the car, but they didn't wash it first; therefore, it left deep swirls all over my car. The pait job is ruined. They agreed to paint the nose to cover some of the swirl marks, but the paint wouldn't match the rest of the car. The swirl marks on the hood are also all the way down to the primer. The warrenty that I had to repair the paint was worthless at the time of purchase and they wouldn't honor it. We have been up there countless times to have this repaired, but they still wouldn't honor it and said that they didn't have any record of us asking. They have repaired the passanger door to open; however, the driver door still doesn't work and they said today that my warrenty is out. All this was asked for before the warrenty was out; however all you get is a run around with Champion Chevrolet. I am very disappointed with the quality of this car and the service that I have received from Chevrolet right down to the corporate office. I am so upset about this whole run around that I have recently purchased a Ford 150 4x4 truck.

I have a worthless 2001 Alero that I wished I could get rid of but due to financial restraints, I cannot afford a car payment at this time. There is an issue with the "key chip" that controls the security device and it is forever stopping all functions needed to operate this car--from STARTING, to everything!!!! I have continually taken it into the dealership and they just "fix" something, charging me hundreds of dollars. (I bought this car new and it is now out of warranty.) So why wasn't I told about this defect in thois car when I could have done something else? I don't appreciate GM taking advantage of people like me--old, widowed, and living on a fixed income. Boy, they saw me coming!!! I took the car into my local mechanic and only then did I learn of this existing problem. Who can I talk to about getting something permanent done to correct the situation?

Chevy trucks are always the best but what really ticks me off is every show you see that gives away, ie; Lets Make a deal, price is right ect. cars and or trucks they are always forgien. We are AMERICANS give away AMERICAN made cars&trucks!!!!

I've been a Chevy man my whole life. I was having my brakes repaired on a 2005 Uplander and the pins for the calipers are different. After trying to find the pins proper positions, I discovered GM Headquarters is no help at all. The dealerships, repair shops, supply stores and mechanics I know have no idea about these pins or why they are different. This is scary. I'm talking about brakes and no one knows. I'd like to find out about this and GM isn't helping. I do know that the engineer made the pins for a reason and that there's a lot of GM vehicles being repaired without any understanding of the function of the different pins. I truly hope nobody is injured/killed by something this easy to remedy. Talking about brakes, the most important thing to function properly on a vehicle! Of corse, everybody that's driven a car knows this. It's a shame that GM's Headquarters does't seem to care about safety.Every single vehicle I've owned in the last 24 years has been a GM. I believe in buying American,so the next car I buy will be Ford or Chrysler.

My wife and I bought 07 silverado 4 door 4x4 truck new from lee chevrolet in washington n.c. The truck has been great, except that the headliner has statred to come down at the door and across back window. I ask dealership about this and got the response oh well 500.00 to 600.00 can get it fixed. what is up with this? I am working on finding out how many others have same problem. I do beleve they should have a recall for this. Every truck i have bought was chevrolet no problem with any headliners till now. Any one else have this problem?

I own a 1999 Pontiac Montana and it now needs intake manifold gaskets for the fourth time in 138k. The intake manifold is only the first verse. I have owned 21 other General Motors products since 1974 and this is the worst. Damn dealer won't even admit there is a problem. After years of fighting with General Motors vehicles I have decided I will never let one on my place again. I have told everyone I know the that they should avoid them as well. My six children are now GM free!!! I think I will have this Montana crap wagon hauled away for recycling. I GM cared they would admit there is a problem and a least make a fix that works. Good Bye GM and I hope your days are numbered!!!!!!!

been buying Gm products for over 30 years, I am done, I refuse to buy ford or chrysler, and despise foreign but will explore options, why did GM do away with the electrical connectors with the bellows ends, Money of course GM did not used to have electrical problems, now there is absolutely nothing that makes GM more appealing than Ford or Chrysler, get your **** together

So let me understand this, you spent billions of Dollars, put in years and years of research with some of the best automobive experts engineers and scientists and developed the most advanced hybrid vehicle in the world and when it came to advertising it what did you do? you came up with the brilliant theme of an ugly man waiting to use the toilet in a gas station????? R U kidding me? Have you seen the Honda commercials? where their hybrid vehicle drives through the barren lands and the whole earth mountains and valleys bloom into beautiful flowers vegetation and heavenly vistas? Now when I see the hybrid Honda I automatically associate it with happiness, beautiful and heavenly scenes and when I see you advanced vehicle I associate it with an ugly guy waiting to take a dump. I purchased a new 2010 GMC savana a couple of months ago. I had searched for a new /used vehicle for quite some time. I became frustrated with promises and quotes not being delivered at Ford and Chevrolet dealerships. I went on line and shopped by telling dealers that I would purchase my vehicle based on the best price and quality. the best quote arrived from McElveen GM dealer located in Summerville S.C. So I purchased the vehicle (it was the first time I actually enjoyed an automobile transaction),they followed up on every promise made and went beyond the extra mile for me. I am a business owner and I will buy my next fleet vehicles from McElveen, let me tell you why. THE SALESMAN, Justin, we received free racking for our vehicle so we had to leave the vehicle over night for installation, which became a problem. We live rurally and I don't know many people in my area that I would ask to drive me 200 miles R.T., I have no way to pick up the vehicle so my salesman Justin says "Don't worry, I will deliver it to you. Justin drove my vehicle to me, followed by his Father who drove him back to Summerville. It is 200 miles round trip from Summerville to my home. a short time after the purchase I had a problem with the brakes (warrantee work), (the vehicle had been sitting in McMelveens' lot for a while and the rotors had minor damage causing the vehicle to buck at stops. This of course made me a little afraid to drive the vehicle. I called customer service, they hooked me up with Roadside assistance who transported my vehicle to the closest dealer located in Walterboro S.C. (Rizer dealership) they had the vehicle a few days and when I did call they hadn't done anything as of yet, then they told me that I should have brought it to McElveen where I purchased the vehicle. The service manager stated that they "will not make the necessary repairs. I called customer service and they had the vehicle towed to McElveen. Service was completed in a short time, now I had the same problem of getting the vehicle home. McElveen said they would see what could be done. So I called my salesman Justin who checked out the situation. When he called back he said he would deliver my vehicle, three hours later he pulled up to my house, this time followed by his wife driving her own vehicle. I offered them a stipend for thier kindness and they refused to take anything for thier service. That is what I call going the extra mile and beyond. I will never buy or recommend a friend to purchase a vehicle from Rizer in Walterboro because of thier insensitivity to my preoblem. As far as G.M. is concerned, they were great and pleasant to deal with. But nothing tops justins work. I was meaning to write corporate about Justin, but things get put off. He needs to be recognized by his peers, it is probably just another day of Justin life, but for me he is the epitomy of an employee who gives much more than 110% Thank hyou, sincerely Harvey Keefner, owner, Post Trauma remediation services, LLC

Bought a 2009 Chevy Silverado Pick up, Engine blew up at 80,000 miles, Chevy replaced engine, 2 weeks later they ahd to replace left bank of lifters, 2,000 miles later they had to replace right bank lifters, I found out CHEVY is hiding a defect in some of it's 5.3 liter 2009 engines. They installed dirty lifters at the factory and have bad engines out there, My truck is Back in the dealer for another lifter problem. 3 times on an engine that has 5,000 miles on it. BEWARE 2009 5.3 liter engine owners, Chevy is crossing it's fingers about these engines hoping they make it to the 100,000 mark and off the service contract.

GM has finally done it - moved their phone response system to some other country and turned it over to illiterate people; in other words they no longer give a damn about the customer. You might as well start buying from a foreign manufacturer because of the free trade agreements signed by congress, all jobs are being moved out of the US so they can produce them cheaper.

I took our 2007 cobalt in for a clunk in steering, on paper i have a copy from service that states-inspected for clunkinking in steering wheel, this is a normal condition, no repairs required, so i guess thats good excuse me i have to send my family out in that car, thats really poor response to a problem that could become very serious at any speed, any 1 wanna buy a used car with a clunk, very safe attitude, so i have decided to GM head office a chance to respond ,i'm giving you 72hrs. if not guess i will go public with this matter so well happy motoring watch those clunks.

GM sends a letter stating they'll pay 50% of the bill to fix the fuel level and service engine sensor that has worn prematurely. What a joke, why aren't they paying 100% for this problem that they knew about, long before we did. Why hasn't there been a recall?

I've always thought Chev Silverados were the best pick-up trucks on the road. Now, however, I'm very concerned about the Chinese content in these trucks (and basically all GM/Ford/Chrysler vehicles). When transmission lines rot out after 4 years, and front wheel bearings are trashed after 24,000 miles (not covered by warranty), I get very standoffish about buying one of these pick-up trucks. To clarify, they are "assembled" in America with many Chinese parts, not "made in America" which is and out-and-out lie. Believe that I will stick with Mazdas & Toyotas, as they generally have an average 300,000 mile lifespan.

HOPEFULLY , THESE PEOPLE WILL UPDATE THEIR SREVICE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.. I OUN A BEAUTIFUL SRX 2004, I'M A SENIOR AND KEEP THIS CAR IN TOP SHAPE... JUST HAD OIL CHANGE , NEW TIRES , AND PASSED CT.EMISSIONS TEST.... AS OF SEPT. 12 TH. MY CAR WILL NOT RUN , SPUTTERS AND LOST COMPRESSION .... SO FAR I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO JUNK IT LADY ! Possiably the timing chain , which has now probably ruined the valves...I CALLED GM AND WAS TOLD THERE IS A RECALL ON THINGS LIKE , THE FUEL SYSTEM, AND TIMEING CHAIN ON THE 2004 SRX'S , BUT NOT ON MY CARS VIN NUMBER.... WHAT KIND OF BULL S. IS THAT.? IF GM MADE THIS JUNKER THEY SHOULD STAND BEHIND IT,,, I CANNOT AFFORD THOUSANDS TO REPAIR THEIR DEFECTIVE DESIGN ON THIS CAR... WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE THEM HAVE THE COMPASSION TO HELP ME.????????? PS...I STILL OUE $11,000. I brought a 2010 HHR and the drive side of the window has a malfacture problem causing the window to not go down when you push the driver side power window button so I took the car in to victory chevrolet auto in mt holley in north caroline. The mechanic informed me that it was a malfactution with the power window on the driver side but stated that my warrant was up and I would have to pay for this my self and now the power steering keep jumping on and was told it was a malfactution with that and would have to pay for this also due to the warrant being up. I never knew I only had a warrant for 36000 mile or 3 year. If I did I would have been brought my car in to be repaired before the warrant was up. I thought I had 100,000 miles warrant on a brand new car the financial manager never informed me how long was my car warranty. I would have never brought this car. This is one of the worst car dealership I have ever had to deal with concerning getting a car repaired and only had the car for a year August the 10th and when I went to have it repaired it was on july the the 11th 2011 it was not even a year. I would not recommend the HHR to anyone. I feel that as a company you do not stand behind your cars the warrant that you are giving is not worth the papers its printed on. I have only had my HHR for a year and a month and it not worth the money that its being finance for.

i have an invention that could boost you sales thru the roof actually its a 2 part invention but i need the dept that handles ideas to email me jimarleneaxe3235@aol.com thank you james axe

I received a letter in the mail from GM on 9/12/2011. It stated that my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer EXT may have a problem with the fuel level sensor. The sensor on my truck does not work. My fuel guage has not worked for months. It does register as empty when I fill my gas tank, exactly as stated in the letter I received. GM stated in their letter that they would be willing to pay fifty percent of the cost to fix this repair. This is a defect and the customer should not have to assume any of the cost for this repair. The letter should have stated that this is a RECALL to replace the fuel level sensor. It is outrageous that a corporation such as GM would try to pass part of the cost on to the customer for this repair. GM should reconsider this action and replace these sensors at no cost to the consumer.

I bought my wife a 2011 GMC Terrain for her Birthday. I took her to the dealer and let her pick it out. Had the car for a week and the troubles started! The Ignition gets stuck, The power steering pump leaked fluid on the axle almost causing a fire (Power steering replaced but still leaking been in the shop 4 times) Brakes get stuck when at a stop light (was told the hill assist program is why it does that however I’m on flat ground when it does it) Air Conditioning went out 3 times and it out right now and i just picked it back up from the dealer... Wire harness had to be replaced with a modified one (wont tell me what that means) we made a $37,000 Mistake! Called GM customer service and after 3 weeks they agreed to buy the car back then 3 days later called me and said they in fact were NOT going o buy the car back! I have decided to go to court!!!
