I've been having problems with my 2007 GMC Yukon. This is the third time the traction control light is on. Been in the dealership 2 times, will be 3 with this one. the last time, my vehicle was in the shop for almost 6 weeks. I cant beleive theres no recall on this. As Im driving, the traction control light turns on and theres a message that says Engine Speed Reducing. We bought this vehicle brand new and I cant believe we have are going through this. Its also a safety issue because its happened when Im on the road with my kids and it starts loosing power.

We purchased a brand new 2007 chevy Aveo. The first brand new car we ever purchased. We have had MANY problems with this car from the start, but the dealership that we bought it from always took excellent care of us. Since it is still under warranty (we purchased the extended warranty) there was very little or no cost to us either. The dealership we always dealt with has gone out of business, the owner retired. The engine light came on last week and there was smoke coming from under the hood. I pulled over and looked under the hood and there was oil all over the engine. We took the car to a different dealership (Rohrich) since ours closed. They had the car for a WHOLE week and I just picked it up. It is worse than when I took it in!! The engine light is out, but the oil light is on. That was not on when I took it in. There is still smoke coming from under the hood and now the car sounds like a tank. It has no power, I had the pedal to the floor going uphill and it was only going 5 MPH. I called the dealership immediately. He said, "well you can bring it back in but I can't take it until Dec.9." "We will have to tear the engine down and it probably won't be covered under your warranty." We only have this one car and we depend on it. My husband is currently fighting cancer and undergoing chemo treatments. He has to go to many doctors. How are we supposed to do that without a car?? We do not have the money to pay for a new engine or a new car. This Aveo ia a piece of crap!!!!! We are extremely disappointed in Rohrich for the service we received and Chevy for making such a poor quality car. We will never buy another Chevy!!!

I have a 2007 GMC Yukon. It has been a great experience until about a month ago when my remote system started going into "sleeper mode." The remote will not lock, unlock, open rear or remote start with out first putting the key in the door and turning it. Apparently my remote Transmitters (2) and receiver (1) must be replaced for this to work. It is going to cost me over $500 to get this fixed. I am very disappointed that such an expensive vehicle has a factory problem that GMC refuses to fix. Very disappointed indeed. Will not recommend business with GMC anymore over this issue.

Just today I had to have an intermediate shaft replaced in a 2007i Impala with only l9,000 miles registered. The mechanic told me this happened on his Tahoe. If this is common, why is there not a recall on the things? The cost was $336.53.

I just bought a car in chapman las vegas I finished to pay last 1000 dlls on november 8th and on friday 11th they took another extra 500 dlls out of my bank account without authorization, now that is for as far as the contract goes Illigal. now I went on friday to have that mistake reversed and people from sales told me that they will had my money on saturday morning well that was another lie because after 1 pm no money had been returned to my account the rest of my day I was transfered around and around with out no one that provided me with clear information on how and why that happend all did apologize for the incident but nobody really tryed to fix the problem no even when I give them the number from my bank so they could fix it but the store mannager just told me he was gonna do it but he never did and ofcourse you are not opend on sundays so there is nothing that I can do unill then mean while I can not pay my bills from my other living expences but you people seam to dont understand the costumers, nevertheless I will excpect my money in my bank account on monday before 12am otherwise I may have to take legal action against you

I bought a 2004 GMC 6.6 turbo diesel. I went to a Drs. appt and when I was done jumped in my truck and started to make a noise in the engine, so I drove it to a place where they change oil. They checked the oil in motor that was fine all other level. When they the transfer case here it was bone dry. So they put oil in at a cost of 31.00 dollars for 2 quarts of oil. So they sent to a transmission supply and repair shop, will it turns out that the pump on the inside of tranfer case wore a hole in the casing. Thats right it wore a hole from the inside to the outside. So I called a GM Service Manager, and they told me that they can't do anything about it. So it going to cost me 2500.00 to 3000.00 to have it fixed, so I have to pay for GM product design flaws. I thing it is sad that GM cant stand behind there products. So I lost all faith in the GM products, while they sit back and collect big pay checks and cant afford to pay a repair bill between 2500.00 to 3000.00. I rate the at a -1.

Owners of GM vehicles equipped with OnStar should be aware their driving habits are being monitored. Ones traveling speed, use of seat belts, and places one frequents. This information is then sold to third parties. OnStar was monitoring subscribers as well as non-subscribers till Senator Schumer of NY asked the FTC to investigate OnStar. Since his request they are no longer monitoring non-subscribers. Owners may not want OnStar but for six months they do not have the option. Once they take delivery of their new GM vehicle equipped with OnStar the dealer is required by GM to enroll the customer. If the dealer does not enroll the customer GM will once the vehicle has been reported delivered by the dealer. So with every GM vehicle equipped with OnStar the owner receives a minimum of 6 months subscription. Owners go to Onstar’s website and print off the terms and conditions and read the entire 10 pages and you will be shocked of the contents. You need to remember who owns and controls GM since the bankruptcy! GM produces some of the best vehicles on the road today. The question is do they have the right to invade our privacy? This is important folks!

This is in support of all GM sales representatives. I have been in sales for 24 years. The profession has been very good fit for me. The achievement of sales awards and prizes is a plus in the business. Many awards and sales incentives over the years have made this job fun and enjoyable. All the awards had stipulations with sales volume as one and CSI (customer service index) another. The CSI rates the satisfaction of our customers. I believe if our customers are not happy then the sales representative is not doing his or her job. Over the years the manufactures have included sales training in the equation to earn the awards. I have no problem with sales volume, sales training, and CSI surveys. The problem is now the manufacture has included OnStar welcome calls. One not in the profession may not understand this. When one purchases a GM vehicle equipped with OnStar they are automatically enrolled and then they must push the blue OnStar to do the welcome presentation. This must be done in 15 days of delivery or we sales reps do not get credit. GM has set the level at 60% that sales reps must meet. Gm started a retention program some 10 to 12 years ago to help keep salesmen at the dealerships. For one to qualify you must meet the sales volume, CSI surveys, and sales training. For the past two years GM has included OnStar welcome calls. Also for past two years GM has made quarterly payments and the balance paid in March of following year. GM now has this OnStar welcome call tied to the spiffs as well. I have missed out on several hundred dollars of spiffs because my customers have not pushed the blue OnStar button within the 15 day period. I have always been at the level except now since GM has raised the bar (% level). In September of this year Senator Schumer of NY has asked the FTC to investigate OnStar on invasion of Privacy. Why you may ask is because OnStar monitors the speed one travels, the use of seat belts and where people stop. This information is sold to third parties for use. Many customers do not want GM (Government Motors as they call GM) to monitor them so they never push the blue OnStar button. So I, or GM sales reps are being punished by not receiving spiffs or their retention money because our customers do not want OnStar. I have used this money to pay for my children’s college tuition. Well not this quarter! It is a shame that GM, which is making Billions again, will withhold payments of money earned by the sales representatives. They continue to change the rules, which benefits them.

I have a 2003 Anniversary Corvette which had a issue with rear deck lid bubbling. I contacted dealer and they would do nothing. I then contacted GM management and they were the best. It took some time to get it all together, but I was very pleased with the professional way they handled this. Candy Fonseca went out of her way to help me. I can't say enough about her and whom ever made the decision to correct this issue. I have several Chevrolets and will continue to buy them with knowing people like this are out there. THANK YOU GM and Candy Fonseca

I had to have injecters changed in my 2003 silverado 2500 hd duramax engine twice. Once the dealership changed 2 (& told me that I can change how many I want at a time)then I had to go back 3 months to them & change three more (which they said it wasn't the ones they already changed, for the warranty), then every time I got my truck back something else went wrong like they had to change the whole dash because all my lights wouldn't work. I ended up paying over $7,000.00 on this truck. Now I find out that there was a recall on the 2001-2004 injecters. Dealer says there is nothing they can do. Oh yes, My head liner is falling. Do you wonder why Americans can't afford to buy American cars. I bought a $23,000 truck & spent $10,000 on it & still can't keep it on the road. What is so sad is that my truck can't pull my horse trailer, my horse has to pull my truck.

i own a 1995 gmc sierra 1500 2wd pickup and i love it. got 272,000 miles on it and she still purrs like a kitten. strong as the day she come out the factory.original engine, trans, diff.oil change every 3000 miles and she dont complain.never left me stranded and i wouldnt think twice about drivin her across the country right now. all you people complainin should buy older vehicles. their more reliable. all this computer crap is ruining good old fashioned muscle. i realize my pick em up truck has a brain in her but its an older more wise brain that dont have too much crap clouding its thoughts. i love gmc. always have an always will.

I purchased a 2005Gmc hd2500 new.Now in 2011 with 58,000 miles on this truck I hate this truck.I tow a 2,000lb boat and dont use the truck for plowing or any thing heavy. So far I have had to replace the vent valve at 37,000miles,rear rotors and brakes and emergency brakes. The rotor brake surface was non existant and also replaced the rear axle seals.I also had to change the rear diffential. Now to the front of the truck.I guess I greased the front end parts to much because they went bad.I replaced the brake rotors, brakes, axles, pitman arm, idler arm,and a tie rod end and I almost forgot 2 hubs. And guess what I still have a noise in the front end I have to deal with, plus one more item I have to replace the steering shaft because that has been making noise forever. I repeat I hate this truck and I am retired and at this time cant afford to get another vehicle.I learned my lesson the hard way I will never buy another american vehicle as long as I am alive.

I took my 2006SUV Chevy Trailblazer to Champion Chevrolet dealership in Tallahassee Fl for a oil change and minor engine issues. Upon fixing and te g my vehicle and the tec

I like many of you was born into a Chevrolet family. Up until Sept. 27, 2011 I would would never have considered any other make, BUT as I was driving my 2007 Yukon it suddenly started coasting til it came to a stop. The transmission quit shifting 3rd gear. Gillman GMC refused to believe it was a factory defect, thou I told them there were bulletins issued and recalls made on the 2007 Yukon for this very transmission situation, of course, not your vin number excuse was used instead they said sludge was too thick and caused it. I told them and gave them the invoices where vehicle had been serviced 3 times, fluids checked and no transmission problems sited. Since check was done at other dealership they refused to honor. The Service Manager said the warranty was expired to which I stated this is factory damage and it should be checked out due to the bulletins and he stated bulletins are for their use in repairs only. The service manager was insensitive to the issue going as far as saying he'd been there 33 yrs had never given discounts as he was giving me on repair job and that even if I took to corporate they wouldn't do anything else for me. I told him my business is with GMC, they are bound to listen they put out bulletins, I felt sure they would sensitive to issue & look into matter. Well while I talked to 3 different customer service techs who were quite understanding and their immediate supervisor were willing to look at invoices and see what they could do. Well it was handed over to the district supervisor who talked to the service mgr at Gillman who convinced her he was right. I know in my heart he is wrong and talked this District Supervisor into his mind set. Customer Service is extremely important to me, I feel the matter was mishandled and the person responsible for this has been with them 33 yrs. I wonder how many mes he has done this to. Goodbye GMC.

i have a 2005 cheve silverado spedodometer cluster went out because it went out after 80000 mile gm would not cover even though there are numeros failures of the same,i beleive there should be a recall its not a normal failure, and the cunsumer has to pay, the repair costs 600 dollars, this should be looked into

I have a 2002 Corvette that I took in to Progressive Chevrolet in Massilon, Ohio for a $60.00 oil change. There was nothing wrong with the car when I drove it to the dealership other than it was due for an oil change. Upon picking up my car and starting to drive off the lot a message came up on my DIC stating "service column lock". I stopped the car and went into the service area to ask a service man what this meant. He said that they would have to keep the car to fix this issue because it was a safety factor. The following day I received a call telling me that they would have to replace a column lock motor at a cost to me of $500.00. We discuss this issue and I had little choice but to pay them to do the repair. The service man said they would start the repair work and call me when the car was ready. The following day I receive a phone call telling me that to install the motor they have to remove the steering wheel and they can not get the steering wheel off and will have to break it to get it off at an addition $800.00. They put cars together but they can't take them apart with breaking them? I take a perfectly functional car in to get a $60.00 oil change and end up with a $1300.00 bill. This is a joke!! Chevy will not back up their parts and will not take care of fixing my car. I have had Chevy's all me life but I will never buy another one.

I bought a Chevy Suburban with blind side mirrows to later learn that the mirrors do not work and I have been getting the run around. I was told that there is not replacement parts for the blind side mirrows. Not only that they do not intend to fix them. One of the reason that I bought this vehicle was the blind side mirrow features. Spoke with a District Rep, and he was the biggest asshole that I have ever ran across. They are going to tell me what was on my vehicle when I bought it, the Rep was name Andrew ext 11446 of the corperate headquarters. I have bought 9 suburbans and this will be my last one because they do not back up their product. I have only had the truck for three months and this is the way they back yo their product. My next move it to contact the president of the organization and deliver a well written feeling lecture, which I already know that it will do no good, but at least I will let thme know that they have lost a loyal customer.

GM has a fantastic product, but, the thing i would very much like answered is, '' Why are GM cares up to and in most instances more than a years salery more than any where els in the world here in South Africa ( ZA )? If there is any one out there that can please ans this as we are still a third world country. At least 50 percent of the population earn less than 450 Dollar a month, this is at an exchange rate of 7.80 Rand to the Doller. My E-Mail address is rashaadprins@yahoo.com Please i need to make some sense of this extortion taking place here in South Africa...................... Thank you...

I bought a 2006 DTS In 2008 with 20,000.00 miles on It. One problem that stays with It is It dies while I'm driving on the highway or city driving, sitting at a stop light or just warming It up In the mornings. The dealership's repair shop can't find It because... I don't know why. I need help with this please.
