I'LL LET YOU KNOW AFTER I VISIT ANOTHER DEALERSHIP TODAY. ELDORADO CHEVROLET IN MCKINNEY TEXAS IS SO LOW IT DOESN'T EVEN RATE POOR.

I have a 2-month old Cadillac CTS that stopped dead when I was driving 60 mph on the highway - No power, no dash, nothing. Luckily it was a holiday, so traffic was light, and I was already in the right lane, so I was able to get the car off the road. The dealer couldn't find a problem. They downloaded software and told me the car should be okay because new software solves most problems. They're very cavalier with my life and the lives of others on the highway driving alongside me! I called Cadillac Customer Assistance, and 1 specialist told me we have to wait until the next time this happens, and they'll look at it again then. Another specialist told me to have faith in the dealer. This would be comical if it weren't deadly. Shame on GM, and shame on Cadillac!

I have a 2006 impala SS. It is beautiful car. It has 112,000 miles on it. Me and my girls drove it from California to Florida to Tennessee back to California . It has had a few issues in it's life but the stranges one it had was about a year before the trip the tranny started slipping when you would turn right or left from a stop. Then the gauges started going wacky. I was stumped so I had a shop look at it. They just wanted to throw parts at it to fix it . So I was like screw that. I did some thinking and realized my battery was kinda weak. I tested it and sure enough it was bad. I swapped it out cause I figured I needed a battery anyway and maybe the low voltage is messing up the sensors. Sure enough it fixed the problem. I have put ten thousand miles on the car since. Weird just thought maybe that would help someone.

I have owned GM vehicles for years and currently own a 2003 Avalanche. The only problem I have had in the last 9 yrs with this vehicle I purchased new, is with the steering shaft. That has been replaced 3 times with little hassle. My next purchase was a 2008 Silverado Z71 that my son takes the loan payment responsibility for. When we were looking for a vehicle for him, we went to a few dealerships and settled on a local one here in Ohio. A few trucks that we looked at were pretty pricey, and as we were about to walk off the lot, a salesman approached us and said he had a "new" 2008 Silverado he wanted us to look at. When my son and I took it for a test ride we noticed the odometer had 483 miles on it, so when we returned to the dealership, we asked why so many miles if it was a "new" truck, and he replied because it was a demo but that we would get 5 yr and or 100,000 mile bumper to bumper new vehicle warranty, so, we decided to purchase the truck. Lately the lights on the dash will go out, along with the radio and we notice that the voltage gauge will fall way low then jump back up high, so we took it to the same dealership we purchased it from, thinking it would still be under warranty, since the truck is only 3yrs old and has only 21,000+ miles on it, and have them figure out what the problem was. We were then told that the diagnostic would be $100.00 and if anything was found to be defective there would be a bill for parts. I stood there confused and said, excuse me, but this truck has bumper to bumper for 5 yrs or 100,000 miles and the serviceman said no, your warranty was up, Sep. 2011 and the bumper to bumper is only for the power trane, says so right here, as he shows me this typed up piece of paper. We went back and forth about this warranty issue for about 10 minutes with me ending up telling him to get my truck out of his service dept., I will be taking it to my mechanic instead. I recently found out that this truck was NOT and demo, but a used truck that was purchased the month before we saw it and the same day the salesman showed it to us, the owner had traded it in for a smaller, better fuel consumption vehicle and that the salesman actually gave us a USED car warranty for 3 yrs., or 30,000 miles! I think it is appalling that these salesmen can give a line of BS to hard working people who entrust their hard earned money to these guys to be honest. When we purchased this truck, the economy was starting to worsen and the automotive industry was in shambles, so they claim, and I would be willing to bet my son and I are not the only ones who got screwed over by salesmen/dealerships around that time. I will be taking action on this issue and if it turns out my mechanic finds a problem and I have to flip the bill for a electrical problem on a truck that is only 3 yrs old with only 21,000+ miles on it, I will pursue this with General Motors, the BBB and if need be, consult an attorney. The salesman handed us a lot of BS, but this is one customer that will make enough waves about this issue until I get some satisfaction. My son works too dam hard, and pays a insane interest premium monthly to keep this vehicle and I am not about to stand by and allow this company to pull the wool over him! There should be a law against this kind of wrong doing towards hard working people who entrust these dealerships to be truthful when selling their products to customers. Customers who are the ones responsible for the insane commissions they make on each vehicle sold! I would encourage anyone who has been shafted by a dealership to take action also. If enough people will file complaints against wrong deals and follow through with those complaints, there's a good chance GM just might take some action. They will only hurt themselves if they allow these shady salesmen/dealerships to continue these rancid dealings.

I have owned a number German, Japanese, US and Swedish made cars, but the best cars of all cars I've owned (in total 26 cars) in terms of combination of quality, driving fun, safety, reliability and economy have been the Swedish made Saabs. It is a very big shame that GM is actively acting in a way that makes it impossible to manufacture the current 9-5s and 9-4X model, should the company get a new owner. I am so upset about this that I have decided not to purchase any GM cars anymore, so in stead of a Corvette as a sports car I'll likely buy a Porsche next time. And my 1997 9-5 Aero will NOT be replaced by a GM vehicle!!! Still loving Corvette but my love to Saab is stronger. NO MORE GM!!!

We have a 2007 Chevy HHR, both inside door handles in front are broken and you have to roll down the windows to get out of the car. Whar if there is an accident, or even worse a fire and you cant open the electric windows??? Will it take this to happen before they recall this car to have this taken care of. You can believe it will happen..

Well, unlike everybody here ( I think ) Since 1993, I've owned 5 Suburbans, 2 Tahoes, and a Silverado 2500. I still own the 2001 Tahoe and the 2001 Silverado 2500. I owned a landscaping company and worked the heck out of my 6.0 liter in this truck pulling 8,000 to 12,000 lbs on a daily basis for 7 years. I now have 331,000 miles on it and have yet to do anything to it other than normal maint. It's as strong and good looking as it was the day I bought it with 30,000 miles on it. The Tahoe now has 250,000 miles on it and you can't hear it run it's so smooth ! Again I have done nothing but normal maint. on this truck. My wife and I plan on keeping these trucks till the wheels fall off just to see how far we can take them, after that two new ones !! All of my Chevrolet trucks have been the same way, perfect !! So, with that said I don't know what you guy's are doing with your vehicles but for me it's the best vehicle out there!

Placed an order for a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox in November after you decided to start producing red ones. I ordered one with a few extra options. The dealer could not find a red one with those options that was already built. I waited weeks with no answer when this car would be built. Dealer also tried to get an answer. Dealer finally found a red one that was acceptable so I'm happy about that. Contacted customer service to try to get an answer as to why the order was never picked up from Chevrolet. After many days of "investigating" they tried to tell me they were not producing red cars at that time. NOT TRUE! I could have gotten a different model of the Equinox in red. What gives? They're reasoning is very flawed. Was only trying to get a reasonable explanation as to why the car was never built. Terrible way to do business.

I have a new 4x4 emblem which I invented and I don't know how to submit to GM without somebody grabbing a copy of it. It is very unique and if you are interested in it maybe somebody could call me and we could talk. IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN IT I WILL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. i HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A GM MAN. I hope somebody takes the time to read this.

I purchased a 2009 Buick LaCross new in March of 2010, and have kept it well-maintained. In June of 2011, the car began to suddenly stop running - even at 60 mph on a major highway. The dealership wasn't able to find anything wrong, and the car didn't keep the codes. This same thing has happened numerous times, and to date the car still won't keep the codes, and no one can find out what's wrong with it. This morning I was nearly killed because it quit running - luckily, I was able to wrestle it to the side of the road. After 15 minutes, and four tries to get it started, I was finally able to get on my way. I filed a complaint with General Motors in October or November, who said "Gee, we're sorry for your inconvenience - let's give you a year of routine maintenance". The vehicle has been to the dealer several times for the same problem, and the results are always the same. The car is defective, and is a lemon, and GM doesn't care. I've owned GM products since 1998, but will never buy another one, considering that GM doesn't care at all about its customers. My fiance and I are contacting them to let them know that if anything happens to me or anyone else because this car fails without warning, my estate will sue GM for wrongful death.

I have a 06 HHR. Bought it bout a yr ago. It has starting broblems. It goes into battery saving mode all the time. I have 2 jump it several times a week. Had battery tested 3 times and its good. Front end has popping sounds. Breaks pull. Power steering fuse blows all the time. And this morning my key wouldn't come out of ignition. Apperently I need 2 replace my shifter to fix that. This car has had nothing but problems. I will not buy another chevey. U would think there would b some kind of recall on at least some of this. But not one. I hate u chevey.

2007 purchased a 2007 Chevy Trail Blazer which up to recently was working fine. Last summer I filled my gas tank and the fuel light went on indicating car was low on fuel. It has been on since. I called Chevrolet and they mentioned that was the first they heard of it. While researching the internet, I found that this problem has been occuring since 2002 on this type of vehicle. I asked if there would be a recall and they advise negative. Last month, after my warranty had expired, I received a letter from Chevrolet advising that "in some vehicles, the fuel level sensor may wear prematurely. This wear could cause the fuel gauge to read empty after filling the tank and cause the Service Engine and Low Fuel lights to illuminate". Basically they admit is a factory defect. The letter continue to advise that as the owner I vcan have the vehicle repaired and they would reimburse half the cost. No wonder they had to bailed out. They have no sense of customer service. I have since, and advise the readers to do the same, contacted the NHTSA and filed a complaint. Chevrolet should do the right thing and recall / repair all these vehicles at their expense. Loyalty is out the door with them. Next time I'll but a foreign car.

Saturn design flaw in cylinder head Over 300,000 cars out there waiting for this to happen. Of course the cars are old now but still have low mileage under 100,000 . Saturn extended the warranty to 100,000 miles but to find some one at GM to honor this? My cylinder head went at 75,000. Saturn issued a tech bulletin how to fix... Saturn engine design the worst... Body excel no rust. Was mgmt out to lunch when this engine was designed? I want to know who will honor this warranty? My wish is a new cylinder head, water pump, timing chain, from GM> I will pay for labor

I have a 2006 impala lt ,at first I loved the car but it has turned into a nightmare ! Two monthes ago the water pump blew in the middle of a busy intersection not fun . That was nothing compaired to the DEATH TRAP it turned into, after pulling off the highway (thank god) on to a side street with a speed limit of 30 the car straighted jerking back and fourth along with the dash flashing that I was doing 107 mph seconds later thhe whole front end locked up in the middle of the road ! I'm very thankful it was nine in the evening so the roads weren't busy bc I don't even want think about the accident it could have caused . But it lives up to like a rock bc it is sitting in front of my house like one bc the transmission is destroyed bc of the speed sensor that failed bc it was manufacterd poorly . Way to go GM YOU SUCK !!!!! I can't wait to get another honda

We have a 2006 hhr (bought brand new), bought it in 2005, only has 49,000 miles, and since then the inside handle to the drivers door broke off, so I have to roll down the window in order to open the door and get out. We have hard shifts, the engine light and the tire traction light is on. Took it in to get serviced and they cannot find what is wrong with the car. Drove it 1 year until a loud roaring noise started up. My car sounds like a loud motorcycle. My family can hear me comeing home, 2 streets away. A car with only 49,000 miles should not have a CATALYTIC CONVERTER ISSUE AT ALL. I was baffled as to why chevy would sponsor such a car with so many problems. Every web site I enter that discusses a 2006 hhr, all have the same issues. WHY? Never again will I be fooled. Makes you want to purcahse a foreign car from now on. They may appreciate my business more! CHEVY YOU SUCK!

I own a 2005 Dodge Magnum 3.5L, that I bought used within the last year. I have been having an issue with the headlights, as well as interior lights, flickering and cutting out intermittently. After much trouble shooting, I have learned that this is a very common issue with this model, and the cause of the problem is a faulty program initially installed on the Powertrain Control Module. (Possible code P0563). The fix for this problem is to have the PCM reflashed. I would consider this a safety issue, especially taking into consideration, the first time it happened to me, I was driving on a pitch black highway with my young son. Having to pull over blindly and place my emergency blinkers on. Is there some kind of recall on this problem, and if so how do I obtain the needed paperwork to have it fixed. Please contact me at danaevery1107@gmail.com Thanks for your assistance!

The company I work for purchased a New 2011 GMC pick-up. 17000 miles later it began running funny. I took it to the Dealership it was purchased for warranty work. I was informed the wiring harness is not covered with the "bumper to bumper" warranty. I called the phone number for complaints in the owners manuel. The first lady I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. She call me back the following day. She needed to get in touch with the dealership. 7 days later, I received a call from another woman. She was the most rude person,(most definitly not a lady) qI have ever dealt with. She told me there was no one else I could speak with, or no other imformation she could share with me. According to her, she was the top of the heap and the final decision maker in this matter. The dealership gave her a song and dance and that was that. Did I mention that in between time of purchase of new vehicle and warranty, the Dealership was sold to a "FORD" Dealership !! That's right. In good faith, we purchased a GM product and Ford calls the shots. If this sounds unbelievable, call Permian Ford or Permian GMC - Cadillac in Hobbs, New Mexico. I would rather drive a Yugoslav than a Ford or GMC for that matter. This sure opened my eyes about what was once a great American company. Sad

We purchased a 2007 Chevy Impala LT in December of 2008. It is by far the worst car I have ever owned!!!! Where to start....it had 34000 miles on it whe purchased it only has 75000 miles now. We had to replace brakes and tires within the month, need new brakes again. Of course warranty is expired now! Has been in the shop 9 times for the heat and still not fixed. When the car is in idle it blows out cold air. They told us this is a common problem with impalas and to just bring it in and they will not charge us. However, when they fix it the heat works for a couple weeks then stops working. I use my vehicle for work and do not have time to take my car in to the dealership . Especially, for them to have for a couple days ,just to give it back when it's not fixed. We also had the power steering replaced within 6 months of purchasing. They had the car for 10 days trying to get that fixed. Power steering is going bad again at this time. Replaced the water pump 3 months ago. The radio no longer works, then the cd player stopped working. The stereo still had power, but drains the battery. After replacing the battery for the 3rd time, the dealership realized it was the stereo , however doesn't work, that is draining the battery. They wanted 600 (estimate) to fix the stereo to keep it from draining the battery. We just took the fuze out. Problem solved, just no stereo. Luckily , I have an IPod. Trunk light will not work, have replaced the bulb and of course still not working. The car drives rough , definitely not a smooth ride!!! At this time my crappy car, that I absolutely hate, needs brakes (again) , the heat fixed(again), new tires(again). Forgot to mention, the rear defrost doesn't work. That has been fixed 2 times, needs to be fixed(again), the stereo doesn't work. I have only put 40000 miles on it since purchasing it 3 years ago. The only place this car needs to go is the junk yard. Because of the issues with the car, when a car fax report was pulled, we can't get enough out of it to trade it. That, was going to the dealer who sold us this heap of junk. I refuse to do anymore repairs on this car. For the most part it sits, while I continue to make the car payments to get the balance down so I can get rid of the car. Funny, they can acknowledge the car is a real piece of ----, but, refuse to do anything about it. I will never by a Chevy again!!!!! I work as a loan officer and finance cars daily. Anytime I come across someone wanting to purchase an impala, I let them know about my issues and how I'm stuck with this car and have never been able to get anywhere with my complaints. I let them know , just do your research on the Internet. Impalas don't have good reviews, had I done that first I never would have bought mine. In the mean time I will continue to discourage anyone from ever purchasing a Chevy!!!!

Was looking for a new crew cab model fullsize truck. Great year end rebate for a GMC sierra 1500. Liked the truck, however, wife noticed the small size of the rear seat headrests. When I adjusted them for my hieght 6', noticed that leaning back against the headrest caused it to simply slide down to the lowest position as it does not lock in place. Considering the location of the rear glass window, THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. A rear end accident is likely to result in whiplash and possibly greater injury fromhitting the rear glass. This was a show stopper for me. When raised with sales staff, response was simply that no one had ever brought this up as a concern and there was nothing they could do about it. Most of the other full size truck manufacturers have a much better properly sized headrest that is adjustable and locks in place.

To whom it my concern, I own the 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 Hybrid Truck I had it serviced at the Hardin GMC in Orange Ca During the service they informed me the tire wear on the front tires were so worn that I needed a front end alignment and two new tires. I said that is BS and not only was I a Mechanic for Mercedes for 5 Years I have owned a lot of trucks running my telecom company over the pass 22 years and never seen that type of wear after only 24,000 miles The only place that the tires are worn is about 2 inches on the inside of both tires exactly the same on each. I had them put the worn tires on the rear and the good condition back tires are starting to wear just like they did before. This is not from not rotating the tires this is not having the proper alignment from the factory I need someone from the Corp office to call me about this 877-529-4746 Rocky
