Just had an experience that reveals a serious system glitch in Forever 21. The clerk rang up an item twice along with a few other items. I caught it and immediately reported to the clerk. Her response was that since I used a debit card that I could not be reimbursed, the transaction could not be voided and that my only option was to have a check mailed that would take 4-6 weeks. WHAT???? The clerk made the mistake and there was no way to correct it on the spot. Wake up Forever 21!!! This could become a scam against all debit card users--i.e. you walk away and find it out later, what choice do you have--nothing!
Would give no stars if I could. Was just at the store in Arizona mills in Tempe with my girlfriend. She bought some leggings that were 5.80 and they charged us 58.00. No biggie right, just put the money back on the card or give us the difference in cash. Apparently that isn't possible. They can easily overcharge but their policy doesn't allow for correcting mistakes. They talked to corporate and they will send a check in the mail. This is completely unacceptable and outdated. Shows you what they think of their employees that they don't even allow managers to correct mistakes. I asked the manager to pay us out of her pocket. Of course she has no faith that her own company will reimburse her for doing the right thing by the customer. This company has no integrity at all. I will be in touch with her manager and so on until we get our money. Could be a long fight but I will endure. Stay far far away from these stores.
Forever 21 2800 N. Main Street Santa Ana, CA 92705 Dear Forever 21: I have been a long time customer to Forever 21 and because of my following experience I will no longer purchase anything from your company and I will encourage others not to do so as well. On October 11, 2011 I was interviewed at the Forever 21 located at the Main Place Mall in Santa Ana, CA. My interviewer was Dina, the design store co-manager. Dina called me the following Friday on Oct. 14, 2011 to inform me that I was hired and made an appointment for my two hour orientation set for Oct. 19, 2011. That day Dina informed me that the reason I was chosen to be hired was because of my open availability. I told Dina that I had another job interview the following Friday on Oct. 21, 2011. Dina called me later that same day and gave me an ultimatum between either choosing Forever 21 as my only employer, or the other company. Since she said they would just move on with someone else for the job I told her that I would cancel my other interview and choose Forever 21. I was in need of work so I thought it wise to choose the company that already said I was hired. A few days after orientation Dina called me and said that she would soon have a schedule for me and she wanted to make sure that I was still interested in working for Forever 21 and not another company. I informed her that I was still interested. About a week after that phone call I hadn’t heard from Dina so I called the store to see if I had a schedule set. Dina was not working that day so I left a message for her with another employee. A few days after that Dina called me to say she would have a schedule soon and that the reason it was taking so long was because of processing my paperwork. About a week went by and I hadn’t heard from Dina so I called multiple times and left messages for Dina. Three weeks later she finally called me on Nov. 17,2011 Dina informed me that the company could no longer hire for seasonal positions and that she hadn’t told me sooner about this because she never got a message that I had called her. Dina said she had assumed that I had been hired by another company and that she wouldn’t have called if an employee hadn’t told her that morning about one of the many messages I had left for her. This experience made me lose out on a potential job. Dina gave me an ultimatum between Forever 21 and another company. If I had chosen the other company I would currently have a job to support myself. I believe Dina’s behavior and actions as a co-manager was inexcusable and very unprofessional. As a co-manager she should not have told me that I was hired and put me through training then neglect to call me for weeks on end only to inform me later that I was not really hired. I feel very hurt as a customer and a human being that I was treated this way by a company I admired and believed was very professional and customer oriented. On a side note I have still not been paid for my two hour orientation and I believe if nothing else I should at least receive a check for my time training.
i didn't like my experience shopping on the forever21 website. i ordered necklaces for my classmates for christmas, and school's letting out very soon. my order hasn't even been shipped yet. i called customer service, and the lady i talked to was VERY nice. she said she would send out an e-mail to have my order shipped, that it was a delay in the system. hopefully this works and my order is shipped soon! you would think a big company like forever21 would have a better computer system!
Clothing - Cheap (Could be a pro or a con, depends on how you look at it) Return Policy - The policy is very well displayed and explained, but for such a large company it's outdated and not competitive. Customer Service - Terrible. I have never met a nice or intelligent staff member at a Forever 21 store. They are young, entitled, and rude. Online customer service is completely unhelpful. I tried to use a gift card in store one time and the cashier messed up (of course), the balance of the gift card was removed, but no purchase made. They told me tough luck and refused to give me a new gift card. I had to buy the purchase with my debit card, making it cost twice as much. I've had the same thing happen online, the balance was removed from a gift card and then there was a technical error. The balance of the card was gone and customer service couldn't care less. It's akin to theft.
I've never had any issues with this company...YET. But after reading all of this crazy stuff, I'm never shopping there again. I don't want to push my luck. I recently made an online purchase and I'm extremely nervous. I didn't recieve a confirmation email but I have my order number. They haven't charged me twice or anything. Hopefully all goes well. They're losing a very loyal customer.
Let me set a few things straight...I am a former employee at Forever 21 and have never been employed at a place with such opportunity for growth and promotion (with hard work.) The fact of the matter is, SO MANY people don't check the clothes or even try them on before they buy, and wind up getting upset with the policy! LOOK AT THE SIGNS ON THE NEAR EVERY CASH REGISTER! The cashier is NOT required to read it off to you, but some (like myself) will do so, just to reinforce the policy. If you buy something online, you can in fact return it to your nearest store, provided you keep the invoice and the tag on the item. STORE CREDIT BACK ONLY...please read the sign and don't get rude with the cashier who has NO control over this policy. Too many people nowadays wear clothes and shoes around town and want to return it for a full refund, Forever 21 just prefers not to be HAD by shifty/deceitful customers. As for the rudeness everyone is mentioning from the associates and managers, I agree that is unacceptable...but make sure you check your attitude when approaching one of them (the store gets crazy enough as it is without someone throwing clothes around that you just fixed or being rude to you) If you are approaching with a good attitude and get rudeness back...call them out because it is unacceptable and unprofessional. All in all, think about your attitude and how you are portraying yourself, at this day and age "the customer is NOT always right"..sorry, and please pay attention to the policy...be smart (you should always check out anything before you buy anyway...I don't care where you shop...CHECK) If you don't want to do those things shop elsewhere, spend more and get the policies you want, you have every right =)
If there were 10 stars I would pot them up. However the plus size section in my town (Gainesville fl) was removed... I'm extremely angry. When i went to enquire why.. very femmy managers informes me that the plus size section " wasn't selling" when in reality the mens section wasn't selling... I was informed after asking other employees... I was also told I wasn't the only person asking about the plus size section... I have a pituitary tumor.. It makes it hard for me^ to loose weight and mu body will always be oddly shaped... Your store make me^ feel god about myself. Every time I wore your clothes I was complimented often... Please please please bring the store back in my little town thanks :)
I recently bought a pair of jeans at Forever 21, they were about $20. I wore them a few days later and i noticed that something smelled like burnt plastic, it was the jeans! I threw them in the wash with my favorite sweat shirt and some other things and when I was finished drying my clothes, not only was the terrible smell still on my jeans, but all of the rest of the clothes with it. I have since washed the jeans by themselves three times, and I havent worn them again, and somehow they still manage to smell like complete crap. I have never had this happen to me, and this is my first and LAST time buying jeans from Forever 21. Waste of money, and I couldn't return them after I wore them once, and I am not to sure I would want to deal with the terrible employees there.
I placed an Oder online, it states the order will be shipped in 24/48 hours. Well... Itsbeen over 3 days and my order still hasn't even shipped. Then today I get an email stating that an item is now out of stock Shen the website said nothing of the sort. I sent TWO emails trying to fund out why my order hasn't shipped and I still haven't received a reply. Then I called the 888 number and waited 18 minutes for someone to finally help me. All I was told was that it will ship today and that was it. FOREVER 21 WEBSITE IS HORRIBLE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS JUST AS BAD. Going shopping in the store is just as bad. Everything is crammed together and hard to find things.
This store suck. The material is cheap. My daughter purchased a pair of sandals that had broken within 40 minutes. I will never shop here again. I will have my bank to reverse the charge. Di not use your pin number, only credit to have your institution reverse charges. Let's see how Forever21 likes that.
There was a shirt on the mannequin that I liked that was a small. There was only one other shirt of that kind, which was a large. I asked the sales associate working that particular area if there were anymore shirts in a medium or small and she replied "no". She never bothered to look around to see. I asked if I could take the shirt off the mannequin and she said that it was against store policy for her to remove it from the mannequin. I replied "well, can I take it off the mannequin"? She stated that she had to ask her manager. It took a really long time for the manager to come, which doesn't surprise me because there was not one manager or cashier at any of the registers when I walk in the store (bad business). Therefore, I took the shirt off the mannequin and replaced it with the same shirt that was a size large. I explained to the associate what I did and to assure her that I didn't leave the mannequin blank (and it was put back neatly). I went to try the shirt on when I could hear all of the radios (walkman's) saying there was a shirt missing from the mannequin and not to sell the shirt or let anyone try it on. The message repeated over the radio system for about 4 minutes. I was so embarrased because as soon as I came out with the shirt all of the associates were on high alert as if I was going to steal the shirt. I was then approached by a manager who stated that they couldn't sell me the shirt because it was against stor policy to remove it from the mannequin and that it was on hold for someone. More so, I was told that they give that person a week to pick it up before they return it to the floor. All of this was not true as it pertains to their policy. I explained to another manager how appaud I was over how they were acting over a shirt and that not one person (including the managers) offered to see if they had more of the shirts in the back or offered to contact another store to see if they had the size that I was looking for. Instead, I was bombarded by staff and damn nearly forced to hand over the shirt because the lady looked as if she wanted to take it out of my hand, and they refused to sell me a shirt. I feel that I was discrimated against as a customer and because I was Black. It was the worst shopping experience that I've ever had in 30+ years of shopping.
I visited the Forever 21 located in Springfield Mall (Springfield, VA) on Saturday, October 15, 2011. I found a dress top that was a medium size so I asked the sales lady (Marcel?) if she knew where the other tops similar to the one I had on my hand was located. The shirt was the only ones that I saw in this specific rack. She didn't even bother to look at the shirt that I was holding up but strictly looked at me and said that it was the last one. I asked her again if she was sure and she already had her back against me and said yes as she walked away. As I looked around the store further, I saw the same rack of shirts that I asked the sales lady ten minutes ago. She did not even bother to help me and I had to look for something that I had asked her about. The rack of shirts was not even ten feet away from her where I initially asked her about it. I feel discriminated since I am a bigger size person and she strictly was willing to assist someone else immediately after me. My sister had purchased a shirt and I told her about the service that she had given me and how she did not even bother to look at what I was looking for but instead looked at me and immediate said no that the store does not have any more of it. I will forward this to the Better Business Bureau and let everyone know my experience. I always shop at this store and there are some items that fit me even though I am a larger size. This type of service is discriminating towards me and personally offended me due to my size.
You want to know why you might run into a cranky Forever21 employee???? How about this company is IMMORAL and has TOTAL lack of respect or HUMANITY for it's employees. I would love to know why my cousin, employed at one of your NYC stores has to be at work in THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT?! You ask employees to come in at 3am?! You also have them works for WEEKS in a row without a day off. I know one of her co-workers who was assaulted getting home leaving your store at 2am!!! 2am?! You ought to be ASHAMED of yourselves having young women traveling to work at these hours. ARE YOU CRAAAAZZZYY?! My cousin is so desperate in this economy to find another job even though this ABUSIVE company has caused her migraines. She is seriously ready for a break down. I am disgusted and hurt by the lack of care at Forever21. DISGUSTING!
I HATE FOREVER 21 THE RUDEST PPL EVER I WORKED FOR CORPORATE OFFICE AND I WILL NEVER AGAIN WORK FOR THEM GETTING PAID 8.00 A HOUR FOR 10 HOURS A DAY 5 DAYS A WEEK MON-FRI THE PEOPLE THAT STILL WORK THERE WHY DO YOU PUT UP WITH THE BS
I went into the Partridge Creek store in Michigan today with my friend and we waited in line for approximately 15 minutes while only one cashier was actually ringing. During this time there were 3 other associates standing behind the counter as well just chatting away about their personal lives. When we finally were being rung up, the cashier was very rude. The associates there are very disrespectful and something should be done about it. I do not intend on shopping there again. Thanks for reading.
800-966-1355 is another customer service phone number that is NOT on their website. I had to call a local store to get it. I called today (Monday) and they answered fairly quickly. Problem with my Gift Card order (because of address conflicts), so had them cancel (since they couldn't make any changes to the order) and I just redid order online. For as big as they are, they should make sure their phone systems and website links work properly, or customers will get the wrong impression.

Every time I have gone into the store at four seasons mall in greensboro nc, the manager has been extremely rude. I have tolerated her until just now, so angry that I must stop my shopping trip to write this complaint. I picked up a scarf and hat that were both marked two for ten but when I went to pay they told me I couldn't mix and match. Whatever. Then they rang up two tank tops that were on a table marked two for eight. The manager said oh those dont count. What?! Then take about the 50 of those tank tops you have off that table. I told them never mind and she told me I needed to read the fine print. They lost 20 dollars of mine for their "corrections and small print" I will not and will encourage people I know not to shop here again. Unless the rude employees and manager is corrected. With this economy and the poor quality of your clothes, you should really reconsider your policy for the customer is always right.
