I just bought a used ford 500 from a dealer and I noticed as I sat in the garage looking at different mechanisms, the AC quit cooling. So, I drove back up to the dealer and explained the problem and they told me it was a common problem with this model and year of car and that there was no recall and nothing they could do. I went on line to find, YES this is a very big problem and despite complaint after complaint, Ford did not recall the several models that this happens to, so naturally the repairs would all be out of pocket. I am surprised after reading page after page of complaints and calls to Ford, that this would be ignored by you. The ford motor company did offer to find a local dealership I could take it to and let me know that there was a guarantee on the work that I will have to pay for. Gee, Thanks1

Purchaced 3 ford vehicles in less then 3 yrs and on our 2011 edge have had nothing but problems with the sync in this car. We have taken it back 4 times in less the 2 months and everytime we get it back, it gets worse. Now nothing works in the car and I mean nothing. The only thing that works is that the car starts. The service dept is the worst to deal with- never returning phone calls and their attitudes to boot when you finally have to call them to find out the status of the vehicle repair. So I am paying on a 2011 ford edge and seems like no one at ford cares. For a $40,000+ vehicle, nothing works and the dealers service dept (healybrothers in goshen) do not give a dam where do I turn to?

I purchased a 2007 Mercury Milan ..at the time of purchase I also purchased the extended warrenty which ment nothing..hundreds of dollars later spent on rental that should have been oover I am out hundreds of dollars....suddenly the reason for cruise control faliure is my fault.....I will never buy another Ford product...first time this has ever happened will also be the last

Ford credit is a nightmare! After paying for 4 years on a new expedition my husband was layed-off. We were almost 2 payments late so we called them and made a phone payment. The next evening it was repossessed. When we said we had just made a payment they said we should have called...wow really? We did. remember...we made a phone payment to them!. too bad for us. It was sold at auction for $10,000 and now we "only" owed $7,000 more. which they wanted us to immediately pay or they would take us to court...wow...if we had $7,000 right then, we wouldn't have been a payment late. My husband was unemployed for two years which left us barely able to make basic bills. Today I get a letter from the lawyers from ford credit. I am being garnished $840.00 a month for a total of $16,825.46 oh yeah plus the interest of some ungodly amount...No...I wouldn't say that is a fair punishment for being 1 month late. I think it's interesting that when we made our payment to them by phone it immediately came out of our bank acct. but took them over a month for them to process...I am betting that was to make it look like we were farther behind and make it appear they weren't in the wrong. I end up paying OVER $40,000 and they keep the truck and sell it to a dealer, for them to sell it to someone else for a huge amount. Please tell me if that sounds a tiny bit unfair to you? I feel like THEY are stealing from me! over $40,000 for nothing and my credit is destroyed.

My husband bought a F250 ford truck in 2003. It has 60,000 miles on it. It has already had two turbos replaced, the senses replaced and a second senser that cost over three hundred dollars to have fixed. Yesterday we were going camping with our fifth wheel on route 60 heading to Banning, CA. When all of a sudden we heard a funny noise and saw white smoke coming out of the tail pipe. On that road there is a lot of semi trucks that travel at high speeds , we were lucky we didn't get into a accident. We were stranded for five hours. We had it tolled to a ford dealership where it is going to cost 1,400.00 to have fixed. Ford Motor Co would not help with the repair cost. I always thought a truck with only 60,000 miles on it was still fairly new. I am so afraid to travel in it, but can't afford another.

I traded my 2010 Nissan Versa Hatchback a little over a month ago for a 2011 Ford Focus. That was the smartest decision I made. I regret ever buying the Nissan and I will never buy another one. I love my Ford Focus. I deliver 635 newspapers 6 days a week and I travel about 45 miles on my route. This is the best little car I have ever owned beside a Ford Escort that I used on my route until last year. I lost my husband a little over 2 years ago and I know he would be proud of me for dumping the Nissan and getting the Focus. This is not only my work car, it is my personal car as I live on a low income now and can't afford another vehicle payment. The staff at the Ford dealership, Pennyrile Ford of Hopkinsville,Ky. were so helpful and explained every little thing on my Focus. They call me to see if I still like my Focus. I really appreciate that. I didn't get nothing like that from the Nissan dealership in Hopkinsville. I had nothing but headaches with them and Nissan Corp. never bothered to contact me after I would contact them about the problems I had encountered with the Nissan Versa. I didn't need to do business with a company like that if they couldn't contact me or back their product up. Thank you for your time. Again, I love my Ford Focus. Debra L. Harris

I bought a 2006 Ford Mustang in March 2006. It had 7,500 miles on it. ran great until December 2009 it started to stall, the Trotle Body had to be changed. I paid $495.00 for parts and labor. In May 2011 the car started to stall again I took it into the dealer and had a diagnostic test $105.00. It was the Trottle Body part again. I had it changed again because the car would have stalled if it wasn't changed. I paid $500.00 parts and labor. The service person showed me the old part and the problem with it, seems the old part had a piece that doesn't move well, the new part was rebuilt to work better. We'll see. Ford doesn't tell the service personnel or customers that the first one wasn't built properly. There is no recall on this part. Is Ford wanting us to spend more for parts for their benefit? Anyone else have a problem like this? I am writing to the corpoorate Headquarters and anyone who will listen to address this problem. And I hope anyone else that have problems with your product should do the same. A multi-million dollar company should not take advantage of customers! Yet they always do.

I have a 2007 f150 fully loaded w only 21700miles and very dealer I've been to will only give me $16,000~$17.000 for it no damage mint cond, blue vaule is $21500. I have never hated ford till now. Its sad that I have made up my mind I will never every buy a $33,000truck just to get a retarded offer for a trade in. At lease nissan will honor there trade value. Sorryford trade sucks. Yours turly. 1ex ford fan .

this letter applies to all of the big 3 auto makers. With all the people who are unemployed, or working for 25 to 50 percent of what they were making a few years ago. with all of the utility companies who are raising their rates because of the loss of profits due to people using less water and electricity.the average person cannot afford a car that costs 18 to 20k. most of the employers are offering 10 to 12 bucks an hr. That is what the average middle class person made 25 to 30 yrs ago.yet all of the auto makers keep producing cars with all the bells and whistles, that require a rocket scientist to repair, and a millionaire to finance. who needs rear view cameras, auto parallel parking, ect.ect. ect. this only adds to the cost of the cars, and repairs. why aren't the big three building more cars that the average person can afford. like in a 10 to 12 k range. used to be where you had a choice of options if you wanted them. power windows as apposed to hand crank, ect.go back to the basics. an affordable car with a choice of options for a basic price.the only people buying cars today are the well to do.driving up the cost of used cars, because people are hanging on to their cars longer because they can't afford the outrageous prices of the new ones.I give it a few more years, and the big three will be back in the same boat they were in a couple of years ago.

I purchased a Ford 2010 Ranger last year. I have been sending in the payments early. I sent two payments in April 2011, but FORD CREDIT states they received only one. I called them and explained I had proof I had sent in the payment for May in April. I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH SUCH RUDE, NASTY, NON-CARING,SMART MOUTHED OVERALL NON BUSINESS LIKE ATTITUDE. I could not believe the way I was treated on the phone! I kept telling them I would send in the payment today and she still kept asking me how, when and if I was going to send in the payment. She informed me my next payment would be due in June.....I hung up.

I have just made the last lease payment for a Lincoln MKZ. It is in my husband's name but he passed away 3 months ago. I was given a buyout price and then the salesman said that the credit company would not honor that price for me since the car is in my husband's name. He said that it will cost another $750. When I called the credit company, they said that they don't care that it is in my husband's name and they didn't add the extra cost. Should I go to another salesman there or can I even go to another dealer to return the car?

took my 2002 Ford Explorer EXPL to a Ford Dealer to be fix they quoted me a price of $ 2600.00 and told me that I would have to pay half before they would start to work on it. So I paid them in good faith and they told me that I would get my truck back in a week. Well thae week went by and thay call me to tell me that instead of $ 2600.00 it would cost me $3700.00 plus taxes all together it would cost $4200.00. If I new this I would have never paid half on the repair cost that was quoted to me at first if i new it would cost me nearly $ 4200.00. Now I am out of a truck and and $ 1300.00.I have all been a true ford costumer butnif this is how i am going to be treated I will take my bussiness somewhere else.

Yes Ford Motor Credit lost my title and I have been trying to get them to send one to me since 2002. The bottom line is they lost it but I have to pay for a duplicate title. That's fine just don't ever think I'll buy another Ford product ever again and fully expect me to tell everybody in the world not to do so either. John Rutnik, NY

In 1999 I purchased a new Winstar Van for my wife. She was happy with it for 138000 miles, then the paint started to PEAL VERY FAST. My wife is not a happy camper. I talkeds to the dealership they said it was my problem. I inquired about a new 2011 Van and was told that my trade in was basicly nothing since the paint was coming off. I was told if I had it painted ($1,500) that I would get a better trade, namly $1,900 trade in. They wanted me to paint it so they would have a better chance of reselling it. I will go back to Chrysler from now on. This is because of Ford dealership employess being rude and unfriendly. The Winstar van still runs and handles good, doesn not ues any oil, JUST THE PAINT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE IT HAS BEEN THRU AN ACID BATH.

good morning I have always been a ford guy. For the last twenty years all i have owned is ford cars and trucks, I have had nothing but good luck with them they have always been a great car.I've been very proud of my choice in ford especially after the govt buy out of the other two car companies. Here though is where we will part ways. I can not support any union made product any longer. Unions have come out to be nothing but thugs. They only support one party, and from from where i sit that party intends to destroy the best parts of America. I will come back to ford when the unions either change, or ford fires all union employees. Good luck hope to work with you in the future.

The services rendered by Ford India Ltd and its appointed dealers are very very bad and the customer is put to great hardship fro trusting Ford Company. I have been constantly requesting Ford India Ltd for the address of the President Asian Pacific and Africa so as to forward my details complains for investigation and action. Ford India Ltd are least concerned and the customer suffers. One has to think many times before buying Ford Vehicle

I Purchased a used Ranger from Ford Country in Henderson, Nevada & only had it for three weeks and the battery is dead... I brought it to a service writer and used cars sales dept. didn't do a thing for me, but lie. I'm not happy at all with the games and lies they told me, I lost a day of work and going to take tomorrow off to take care of this matter. For buying a vehicle and paid in full and for them to not to replace a dead battery they sold me is bad business and I'll never do business or service my vehicle there at all...

my wife bought a 2004 trailblazer from gateway ford in greenville, tennessee a few weeks ago from the sales mgr. ken. the price was 12,995. she had a 2000. trade and 7500. cash and was told she would be financing 3400. and change but after it was done she is now financing 8000. and they will not even discuss it with us. they were also supposed to provide an owners manual which they have not.i was not involved but a week or so later i get a letter from a bank where i was turned down for credit and did not even give them permission to run my credit or the info to do so."which i am speaking to an attorney about". i have called and left messages for ken but he has not returned my calls.i have just filed a complaint with consumer affairs but was hoping to hear from ford before taking any lagal action. that is why i am writing this. ford is the only company i know of that did not need a bailout to stay in business and i hope you will keep your good name by doing something about this before i have too. sincerely,c. byrd
