I purchase a forty thousand dollar Ford F150 XLT 4x4. I truly love my Ford truck. I use to be strictly Chevy until I went to test drive a ford. I have had my brand new ford tuck for about 8000 miles. Now before I continue I want to state the Jordon Ford service center in San Antonio is great. I have a shake in my brand new steering Colum. The service center did the entire test and they stated the tiers are causing the steering Colum to shake. I explained this is a very big investment for me and I need it fixed. Now this is the first steps of many. The service agent told me that Ford as a company will not let him swap out my new defective tires for new working ones. I run a business that produced 36 mil yearly. this is not the customer service I expect from such reputable company. I need some to act like they are owners and please get this fix as soon as possible. I do not want to put my family in danger when driving my ford truck. please take immediate action. Thank you for your mediate attention to my very important concern. Ok here is a twist, finally the supervisor from the corp. office called and stated that she cannot help me and that final. Then like a two year old she (Wendy) hangs up on me. As much as I like my ford truck I will never buy another because of poor customer service from the corp. office. Very Very disappointed

I purchased a 2008 Ford Escape brand new off the lot. It has had the transmisson cooling leak issue and now it now has a failed transmission. Two major mechanical failures in only 3 years. To anyone who has had a good experiance with Ford consider yourself lucky. I myself will find a way to repair the transmission for $3900.00 and then immediatley trade it in on a Honda, Toyota or Subaru just as soon as it is released from the shop. I have launched a personal campaign to let anyone and everyone know how bad I was ripped off. Americans have been duped agin by Fords promise to create a sound, long lasting automible. People don't buy new vehicles expecting to pay for major repairs before the car is even paid for. This is unacceptable craftmanship and I for one hope that Ford is held accountable one day for selling a shoddy product year after year after year. To the poor schmuck that ends up buying my car consider this my heart felt apology...

I purchased a new 2004 F-350 with 6.0 Diesel engine. At 59000 miles while still under Warranty The engine quit. The dealer said the pan was full of ground metal but instead of Ford replacing the engine they just replaced the short block. Ground metal does not just stay in the bottom of a engine it had to be in the upper end also. Two months after the shortblock was replaced I wrote Ford and said the engine used 5 quarts of oil in the first 1200 miles and was noisy when starting. I recieved no answer from ford. That engine ran 25000 miles and it started making a noise so they pulled the block and the cylinder walls was badly scared. Of course the short block was only warrantied for 1 year and it was over that year. I dicided to replace the engine at my own expense which cost over $13000.00. The truck is in excellent condition so I thought I would have a decent truck for a few years. At 4000 miles the new engine quit me on Interstate 10 halfway between Phoenix and Palm Springs. I was pulling a 5th wheel and had to have both towed 80 miles back to Phoenix. The injectors was diagnosed to be faulty. They were repaired at Rodeo Ford in Phoenix. I started on the rest of my trip home and it quit again about 200 miles later. It was the same injector problem Which was repaired before. Bradley Ford Dealer in Lake Havasu, AZ. die the repair this time. Ford Roadside Service wouldn't even help with the towing even though the new engine was under warranty. I now have $15000.00 in repairs to a truck that I am afraid to get 50 miles from home in. I have called and written to Ford and they never respond. No consumer should have to go through the nighmare I have went through with any product.

I have a 2004 Ford F-150 and recently read that there is a problem and possible recall for the drivers airbag deploying erroneously. I called my local Ford dealer and inquired about this since my airbag light came on. I was told by Palm Springs Motors that the recall is pending? I was told by their service department to bring it in and have it diagnosed for which they will charge me $109.00 and that's not even repairing the problem which I do not have the money for in this depressed economy! My question is, is there a recall or not for this problem? I read in the article that there have been people injured by this issue. I also read in the article that the government has been pressuring (rightfully so) for you folks to recall all F-150's from 2004 through 2006 and that you are balking at having to do this? Safety should always come first and foremost, not the all mighty dollar! I always tell folks who buy Fords that the recalls will beat you home. If this is how you treat your customers who shell out their hard earned dollars then I will never buy another Ford of any make or model and I will encourage everyone I know to do like wise!

For the best 8 years I have had nothing but issues with Ford products. The 1st a 2003 Ford Windstar that after about 2 years and approximately 24,000 miles started stalling out on me while driving. this occurred many many times and was in the shop many many times attempting to repair. Sometime the probelm would go away for awhile but it always came back. Finally I filed the "lemon law" paperwork in our state (VT). Once that happened Ford then offered to "make a deal" with me. I got the full sticker price back on the vehicle towards another vehicle. Now I wish I had never taken that offer as I used the oney towards a 2007 Ford Explorer which I have an Extra Care Extended Warranty on. In the past 6 months I have been at the shop at least 6-7 times. Unfortunately for me, it's for different problems. If it was the SAME problem, then I could lemon this one too. The last two repairs I have been told that 'the part" is not covered under the extended warranty. First part was a gear shift lever and the part that needs to be replaced not is the ignition module. I think they are giving me the incorrect information. Why bother buying an extended warranty if it's not going to cover anything. Makes no sense at all.

I have a 2007 F150 My Family and Friends drive fords. I just would like to say that after 5 ac compressors and 2 transmissions I will never be buying another ford again. The People at Planet ford have been amazing however the truck is a piece of junk. It has had all sorts of issues with it and it has less than 75k on it. I have had to replace the Ac vents once and now I have to do it again because they literally fall apart. The Ac compressor has been replaced 5 times under warrant y and now that is out of warranty and needs to be replaced again I am holding out as long as I can. I also have had 2 transmission replaced because the truck just won’t go into gear. I have never been more disappointed with a vehicle in my life. This was my first brand new car; I took very good care of it and wish it would have taken better care of me. I would like to thank the People of Planet Ford in Spring TX for all they Have done, I will probably even purchase another vehicle from them but it will be used and not a Ford !

purchased a ford explorer, requested a "liftgate" and the dealership has been giving me a hassle about it. the person i dealt with stated there would be a "liftgate" on my ford explorer. i had to pre-order this truck, custom-made and everything. only to find out there is no liftgate. the dealership states there is nothing that can be done about it. i'm not a happy camper about this at all!

Ford the wost costumer service never buy ford again ford suck suck suck suck.

i have a gran marque,my proble

Never buy a Ford agian. I have a 2003 6.0L diesel that I have had nothing but problems with and has been a money pit. I recently called for for assistance or some for of compansation to help with the bills on this lemon that they made, they don't have any PR or respect for consumers. They are all about the american dollar but not a bit about the american working man/woman. I have recently also put together a list of over a hundered complaints on fords vehicles and an abundent amount was a 6.0 L engine in the Ford vehicle. Since for don't wanna help me in my expenses in there junk of an engine.. Im going to spend the next lord knows how long making sure people do not make the same mistake I made in buying a Ford. If you would like to hear my story its coming soon.

Dear Ford: I own a 1999 Ford Taurus SE. It has 129,000 miles on it. In the time I have had it, I have only spent around $2000 for maintenance issues. The motor is great. I still get 25 miles to the gallon. This car has been on many summer vacations. I have no complaints. My family has always driven Fords. I am a widow now, working and wish I could buy another Taurus. Unfortunatley, I cannot afford one. It is out of my price range. Just want you to know that my 1999 is still runnning great. My mechanic says this Taurus is the best. Thanks. If you ever give away cars as a promotion , please consider me. I am a truly loyal customer. Kathy Hymel,hymelmimipop@cox.net, P.O. Box 313, Destrehan, La. 70047

The cup holders in the 98 for ranger are terrible everytime I buy a drink puy in in the holder and take off from a red light the drink falls out of the holder everytime I was wondering if anyone could fix this problem

I really don't have a rating, but this requires an entry. I am looking at a Ford Fusion hybrid. I live in Arizona, but it seems that options that matter to me are geared for those who live in Michigan and surrounds. The colors, with a few exceptions are northern colors. Where are the light greens and beiges and champagnes? The seat upholstery is dark as well. Where are the creams and champagnes? I want leather seats, but not heated seats. It appears they come as a package. What about seat chillers instead of seat heaters? I looked at Buicks as well--same issues. One would think that the designers in Detroit would be aware that the population has moved or is moving to the sun states and design accordingly. Seems clueless to me. I grew up in Michigan and wanted to support car companies headquartered in Michigan, but I'm off to buy a Prius instead.

I was really happy with my 2007 Ford Edge until recently when the moonroof would not close and South Bay Ford kept my truck for almost two weeks. If this is something that has a recall then Ford should be the one taking care of this for me. South Bay Ford did not know how to get it to work and has now said they need to replace the entire sunroof mechanism. I don't think this is something I should have to pay for.

We have always owned Fords - partly because my father is a WWII veteran, and out of respect for him will not purchase an import. We have always had good luck with them - until now. We purchased a 2006 F150 from a dealer a couple years ago. It had low miles on it, and was a basic truck. From the get-go - it has had a shimmy at 50 mph and at 65-70. We have balanced and rotated the tires, gone to dealers, and they cannot fix it. Seems like a defect to me. We recently got in the bed of the truck to "haul" some items, and noticed the roof of the truck was a mess! It is not hail damage - but looks like the paint is defective. The paint is popping up, and rust is starting to set in below the cracks of the paint. When I took it to the dealership, I was told it is not under warranty any longer. "Sorry." When I told them it looked like the paint was defective, I was told if I have a complaint to call the Ford 800 number. Not getting anywhere there either. Not sure we will own another Ford. They can't seem to stand behind their product or fix a problem when there is one.

I need help and I haven't found a question and answer service on a Ford web site yet. I built a replica car and used a Mustang 5.0L engine from a 1994 - 1995 donor Mustang. There is no identifying number on the engine block. This is causing a major problem for my getting a title to my replica here in Florida. Employees at the local Ford dealer, Sarasota Ford, tell me Ford did not put identity numbers on the 5.0L engines at that time. The Florida Department of Motor Vehicles does not accept the local Ford employee's word. How do I get some documentation from an authorized source to verify this and satisfy the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles? Thank you very much. Sincerely, John Allen

First Ford...last Ford. So last Thursday I bring our 2009 Focus in for service because it is making a strange clunking noise when you accelerate or reverse. I'm told later that day that it's the transmission. This car has less than 15,000 miles on it!! Now I've also been told that Ford will not authorize a new transmission, I have to settle for a rebuilt one. Are you kidding me?!?! This car is a year and a half old, there is obviously something very wrong with this car and you are expecting me to be satisfied with a band-aid fix when it needs a transplant?! If Ford was the company that I thought it was, it would stand behind it's product, they would have taken out the old transmission, put in a new to satisfy me, the customer, and taken the old one back to figure out what they did wrong in the manufacturing process. I'm disappointed in the way I've been treated and am really regretting not spending the extra $2500 for the Honda Civic that we were debating between when we were car shopping last fall.
