I purchased a ford flex with monthly installments on Sat.September 17th 2011.The vehicle is very nice, but I stated I wanted leather seats so when it came time to negotiate, the sales manager offered to pay half to put in leather seats, So I agreed.I was told to pick my color and give the sales person my choice. The next I came to and gave them my down payment and decided to look at the color choice for the seats. My wife and I decided on the color camel. So we showed the sales the color and he said fine and they would call me in a couple of days. When I received the call I took the vehicle in. The car was ready in one day.Although I picked vehicle up two days later,Fri.23,2011.Once I opened the doors I saw that the color was not what I asked for.I told salesperson he presented the problem to his manager. After a while they said that they could do nothing. They offered me coupons for service center and that was it.All I want is what I paid for and was promised,THAT'S GOOD BUSINESS.Just this decision has given me a good reason to return the ford flex.I am now in process of resolving my problem with Lanham Ford thru different ways such as this and other means.

I don't believe I am at the right location but will say what I intended to say. I have a diesel 2000 Ford Econoline 350 extended van. With 902750 miles. With the original engine and still running.

Hi i am writing to let people know that buying a ford focus was on of the best choices i made. My husband did not want me to purchase a small car, since he is a tall man standing over 6 feet. Well on May 22,2011 a F6 tornado came through Joplin MIssour that small compact car i believed saved his life. He decided ok i will drive this car to the store just a few miles away, well before he realize it he was going through the air up and down from 20th and main to 24th and ketucky which is close to 5 block. He said he got down to the passanger side floor board and held onto the steering wheel. By being in that small car others began to tell us that this is what kept him from being thrown out. So see this is my story....Thank you ford...sincerly carol lacey

After purchasing a 2010 Ford Flex one yr ago, who would have thought I would be spending 800.00 on breaks that have failed, even after I brought the vehicle back to them last Nov, they said it was my front breaks but I disagree, again I am back with my vechicle and spending my money to repair what I believe to have been the problem when I brought the Flex back to them last yr. I wasnt able to get a loaner car, so I was without a vehicle and have to get a ride to work, that is 26 miles one way. Ford was not sympathic to my situationa and I have own several Fords and have referred several friends and family to purchase vehicles from them. I am disgusted that I have to spend 800.00 out of pocket, If Ford stood behind there vehicles one would think they would make this right for me. I am frustrated and dissapointed in my purchase. I wish I didnt have to go to this extent to share my frustrations, It would have been the right thing to fix the breaks and not charge a loyal customer for a problem that I have had from the beginning. Sincerely Frustrated in Connecticut.

im so upset right now my wife got a new ford ESCAPE in 2008 and we take it to were we pout it from for all the oil changes and everthing we need done to it .We had to get a new horn apout five month ago and we had to take it back in becuse thay never but the parts back on we hade weirs hanging down from it and then there was a recall so then we had to take it back in .now we hade the oil chang not to long ago and all of the sentsers dont work so when its out 0f oil how well we no.so yesterday we fine out the hard way my ford moter is gone out .Now we no its becuse 0f f0rd and i hope thay fix it i well let u no .

I am done with Ford all they are is a rip off. I have a 2006 Ford Mustang and I am having a Problem with it. I took it to two different dealers, and after charging me $128 dollers to run a diagnostics they still don't know what the problem is I have been with out my car for 2 months and have allready wasted over $300 to fix a problem that noone can find. Now they want me to spend another $600 to try something else that is not even a guarantee it will work. I have lost my job becouse i didnt have a ride to get me there so I can't be paying everybody to run test on my car Im NOT made of money just a hard working guy that is trying to previde for my family. this makes the second Ford vehicle I have had problems with I use to be a die hard Ford man but the problem I have had latly and the survice that I have had I will no longer buy Ford ever again. Back in the day Ford use to be one of the best. but now they are nothing but problems and a wast of money and they are built to where you have to take them to the dealer to get them fixed becouse unlss you have allkinds of fance tools and equipment. you cant wok on them. the past 7 years I have had nothing but bad trouble out of Ford and bad survice by the survice centers.

I would like to know why Ford is not planning on bringing the small diesel engines to their American automotive line up. I would also like to know why they are not bringing the Global Ranger to the U.S. . What about America is not part of the Ford Global plan? Ford does not need to stand back and let other companies be first in the small truck with diesel engine line up!

I hate that commercial with Derek Jeter. I like Derek Jeter, but I hate the commercial. They play it a million times a day and you cannot understand the words and the song is so irritating. And the song just keeps repeating New York, New York, it doesn't make me think of a Ford Car, it makes me think of NY and Derek Jeter. Why do they have to play it so many times a day and it is horrible!! I am sorry, I realize that people have actual problems with their cars, that they cannot resolve which is much worse than my complaint, but this commercial drives me crazy and cannot get this annoying song out of my head and just needed to complain. It is so stupid and I don't see how it is supposed to make me think of a Ford car. I hope that everyone can get their actual car problems resolved.

Dear Mr. Ron Tirapelli Ford (Joliet, Illinois) employee who reads this, Thank you for NOT contacting me about buying a new ford Fiesta within your 24 hour window you mentioned in your email on August 26th. I figured you wouldn't. You lived up to my expectations of what I think of your dealership. Never should have wasted my time but I thought maybe after a few years you would have changed. Silly me. We have purchased a new Ford Fiesta from another dealership. Thanks for absolutely nothing. I hope this actually makes it to the general manager but I won't hold my breathe because I would surely die waiting for a response. I totally appreciated it and will pass on the favor by telling every one I know. God bless Facebook! Have a truly great day! Lisa Muzzey Please note that this email was supposed to go to there internet customer service and was sent back as it was a bad email address. Good thing they attach the email link on the email they sent. Just another way they are doing such good business there!

To: William Clay Ford Jr. Dear sir. I am writing you in hopes that you might reconsider the possibility of developing your hybrid cars into mobile generators. It seems to me to be a natural step to take with them. How much would it cost to go out and buy a high wattage generator with a large battery pack that has a automatic charging system for the batterys that uses a high effeicency gas motor only when the batterys are low. It is also very quiet and mobile. How much might you have to spend $5,000 or more? And when you don't need it you have to find a safe place to keep it. This intagration is better by far. I am sure that you have done market research into this area and found that the automobile buying public would rather pay for some sporty trim package or leather interior than have a reliable and efficient mobile power station that is easy and safe to use. Maybe the problem is in the marketing. There are several ways in which it could be marketed. One way would be to compare it to the smart phones that most of us use today. These cars would have new applications that other cars don't have, for example. This car can power critical functions in your house in the event of a power failure. It would have sufficient wattage to run your freezer and refrigerator. It could also run your microwave or your big screen television, satellite receiver or DVD player along with lighting. In the event of a major emergency when all local broadcasting is down the cars satellite radio might be the only format for information available. Other uses would be camping or at a remote jobsite. There would be other accessories and peripherals that can be developed and offered to add to the veichles tool box of functions, cords, compressors, liquid pumps, and a exhaust hose so that the car can be run safely in the garage. What you can sell is a little peace of mind in a disaster, easy access to power anywhere you go, a kind of independance that you don't have with other veichles. There is also another angle that you might be able to work out with the federal government. They may be willing to offer some tax incentive to buyers who want to have this option package. I know that disaster preparedness is of great concern to some in the presidents cabinet. I am one of those who is concerned with being prepared. I believe you should hope for the best but prepair for the worst. Responsible people care about their family, friends, neighbors and their community and country. We do what we can for as many as we can. Thank you for your consideration, any help you can add will be appreciated.

I have my second mustang an it was very nice until it got switched. Ford blew me off and I am still in need of what I originally purchased! It is paid for and the offered little to no help. 32000+ dollars and no help. Thanks for a repeat customer recieving little help with a Mustang GT.

I bought a Ford Mustang 2005 they had a recall on the back axle now it whines like a scalded cat and they wont fix it again do not buy a Ford any more the paint is sgit and their after sales is a lot of lies The paint is so bad it is so dull where they sprayed it and told me some one had sprayed it over yes they did $%%^^I FOrd dealership did Colin

I have a 2004 Ford F350 with a 6.0L power stroke diesel sitting in the shop at the dealership and they informed me that Ford Motor was not going to help with repairs at all. I have taken exceptional care of my truck for 7 years. No dings, no dents and the interior is immaculate. Oil changes have been done on time through the dealership. At 41,000 miles the engine blew a head gasket due to a faulty egr cooler valve. The cost to fix my truck at the dealer will cost me out of pocket $8,400.00. Ford Motor refused to provide any assistance in fixing my truck. They have known about the problems that plaque the 6.0L diesel since its inception in 2003. They even sued and won a judgment against the manufacturer (International/Navistar) who manufactured the engines for Ford during the years 2003-2007. Anyone who owns one of these trucks should educate themselves and take precautions. I am currently getting involved in a class action lawsuit to recoup not only the expense of fixing the truck but the entire purchase price, including interest, of this useless paperweight as well as towing costs. The truck broke down while on a camping trip 115 miles from my home. The cost to tow the truck home was $1,200.00. Within one week I am being made to pay $9,600.00 for a truck that I am still making payments on through a 401k loan I took to pay it off one year early so that I would have much lower payments and an interest rate due the failing economy. Ford is not looking out for its customers. They knowingly sold these trucks in the hopes that only a limited number of them would breakdown. If they are willing to do this with their truck sales I hate to imagine what they will do with all of the vehicles they manufacture. They refused to place a recall on the trucks diesel engine problems and instead left it up to the consumers to pay for repairs. This is the most dishonest and unethical decision made by an American auto manufacturer that I have ever heard of. They have sold a damaged product to the wrong person. I will be at the dealership every weekend with a bullhorn and petition to join the class action lawsuit. Anyone who goes to the dealership planning on purchasing a ford vehicle will know the extent of their disregard for customer loyalty and lack of ethics. There is also a Dodge and Toyota dealership across the street. If I can convince 100+ people to not purchase a ford car or truck then I would consider myself a hero of my community and a humanitarian. Ford should not be allowed to get away with this.

Wow what wonderful information. I have been researching a new suv I was wanting a Ford Escape but after reading these stories I think a Toyota may be the key. i would like to see Ford make a large come back but their product has to work and be dependable. I am a single working toward retirement and don't have the time to spend driving 30 mile to put my car in the shop. Thank each of you for sharing you experences. I have a lot to think about.. do I support American made Ford that appears to be not made with much pride anymore or do I go dependable and safe??

Have been waiting 3 weeks for a part on a 2003 F150 Harley model, the parts dept. tells me they talked to Ford and they are not sure when the part will be sent. How can they not know! Do you have the part or not?

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer with a junk transmission. To find out later it's a common problem that Ford refuses to address. I guess I will spend the 3000 dollars for a new trans. and take in the ---. Thanks Ford, You Suck

My 2007 Ford Focus hatchback is a lemon in every sense of the word. So much for supporting American Corporations. All maintenance was done on schedule and all receipts have been saved. Ford checked it out after it stalled in 2009, Complete check done by Ford. In 2010 after serious tire issues I had my Fordd towed to the dealer. The car is under warranty and extra warranty. I was charged over 600.00 to have the tires changed by Ford service. My fault? Dumb woman? The tires are awful and the car can't even pass an inspection in VA. Service station stated a poor job was done when the tires were all replaced at my expense. I need a resolution before my car is towed away. I paid off the car myself with a check for over 16,000 dollars in 2008 and now it is worthless. Routers, brakes you name it it is wrong! We were looking to buy a car so we ended up in a ford dealer due to the Ford reputation and the advertisements on papers and magazines. My husband was introduced to some ford cars but later was shown a lincoln 2008, it was a nice car and my husbanded it he went on to negotiate the price but the dealer was fixed with his offer, so my hus asked to consult me and let me see the vehicle. He was asked to pay deposit for the vehicle my husband resisted not to let the dealer take his credit card but the dealer promised him to say even when the deal is done or no the money will be returned, my husband didn't even know why the dealer had to take his credit card he thought maybe they wanted to check his credit( being new to Canada he didn't know exactly why) the dealer came with a receipt to say sign here you will be called to know if you are approved or not. But my husband asked to say he wasn't decided to buy the vehicle so consult with me. The dealer insited no problem you will be refunded your money. Then the papers went to a Financial manager all then was asked was sign here sign here here is the warranty for the vehicle it will expire but you can think of extending it if u like husband said yes i can extend it but what is the total price of the vehicle. It was worked out and it was 35K my husband thought to come home and talk with me. I said it's too much maybe we find another offer. The following he called to say he would like to cancel the deal but the dealer said no you can't paople have already worked on your file, documents have been forwarded to the bank so you can't cancel the deal. My husband was pissed offhe went to the dealer he could not get back his deposit he quarreled with the dealers they were really rude as though they were not Canadians some really looked not to be Canadians. So my husband was stuck at this dealer shop no alternative they even cheated him to say the bank approved him, he wasn't even told before that, actually the approval came through because we saw another car at a nice chrysler shop ( the documents read apporved by another dealer); my husband being kind he thought maybe its true these people have worked on my file they really need to be paid. But when we went to inquire more we were told the vehicle is 2008 we could not be approved for such a long financing. Then my husband asked to say why in the first place he was forced to say he can't cancel the deal. Now he was forced to choose on another vehicle but the vehicle(new blands) were really expensive we could not afford being new commers to Canada of only one year. So we were stuck at this dealer shop the money was deducted from our credit card and till now we don't know the status of the financing if we are buying the vehicle or no. Actually i agued my husband see if we can get our money back and go to another bland chrysler or so. We even told the dealer to say we haven't bought the vehicle but we are getting in trouble like this what will happen later if we bought the car and needed services you say will have? Iam really disappointed with the service at this dealer shop it is in Toronto Toronto Ford East-Court Ford Lincoln Sales Limited. If anyone can advice on what we did wrong and how we can get out of this trap kindly advice my number is 647 969 7238 iam based in Toronto.
