I am writing because I had a lease GMAC SUV that I lease for my sister, {Sherry Tappan}, after the lease was up my sister{Sherry Tappan} took it to Murphy Ford in Chester, Pa and turn it in on another lease car at Murphy Ford. My name was on the lease, I never sign off on the lease so how could your dealership give another car? The problem right now is that your dealership didn't check to see if it was okay to take it, because they did not she owed over $7,000.00 on it for over mielage. but Murphy Ford in Chester, PA still took the SUV and leased Sherry Tappan another lease car, how is this possible. How Murphy Ford is tell me that it is my problem to get the money back from my sister. The law states that a check was to be done to see if there were any outstanding warranitys against this SUV and that wasn't done so I want to know what is going to be done about this before I get the law on this matter

I bought an automatic ford focus 2012 on July 2011. The day after purchasing the car I noted it was making a weird noise and vibration when the automatic transmission changed gears. I asked the dealer and they told me this was normal, that I had to get a few miles on the car so that it would go away. AFTER 2500 MILES THESE WEIRD NOISE AND VIBRATION WERE STILL IN THE CAR, so I took it to the dealer to be checked. They told me that Ford Motor Company was aware of this malfunction but did not have a solution at the moment, and that "THE CAR WAS OPERATING WITHIN FORD SPECIFICATIONS". I then took it to regular maintenance service at the Sawgrass Ford dealership for the 5,000 miles check up on 9/21/11 and they still had no solution for the problem and they told me "THE CAR WAS OPERATING WITHIN FORD SPECIFICATIONS". On 10/9/11 the car had 6500 miles and “SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON" at around 8:00pm and the TRANSMISSION WAS NOT FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY, THE GEARS DIDN'T SHIFT AFTER FIRST SPEED. It left me stranded away from home. It was towed to the Ford warehouse since it was Sunday, and then on Monday, 10/10/11 it was taken to the dealership at Sawgrass Ford to the technical service area. That same day I was told that there was nothing wrong with it because "THE CAR WAS OPERATING WITHIN FORD SPECIFICATIONS" and that they did not know why the light had turned on and why it had malfunctioned and to take it back to test it out. It continued making this same noise and vibration and I did not feel safe driving with this malfunctioning new car. I asked to do a test drive with a Ford Dealership mechanic and we did so on 10/11/11 at 8am. The technician told me once again that the noise and vibration was normal and that they did not know why it had malfunctioned. I asked to do the same test drive on another new vehicle of the same brand and model with the technician and it did not make the same noise nor vibration with the gears. For that reason I once again handed the car to the Ford Dealership that same Tuesday, 10/11/11 close to 9am and I asked them to exchange the car for another car of the same model and value on a new state without the gear malfunction but they did not agree to do so. That afternoon they called me telling me that the noise and vibration had no solution and that "THE CAR WAS OPERATING WITHIN FORD SPECIFICATIONS" but THEY DID NOT KNOW THE REASON FOR THE MALFUNCTION. I did not accept the car back and they handed my car over once again to the Ford dealership and Ford corporate committed to monitoring the revision of the vehicle on Wednesday, 10/12/11. At that time, when "THE CAR HAS BEING OPERATING WITHIN FORD SPECIFICATIONS" for more than 6500 miles, they "DECIDED TO CHANGE A CLUTCH IN THE TRANSMISSION TRYING TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM" but they weren't sure it was the solution. I wonder HOW CAN A FORD FOCUS OPERATE WITHIN FORD SPECIFICATIONS FOR MORE THAN 6500 MILES AND THEN DECIDED TO CHANGE THE CLUTCH? They gave me back the car on 10/20/2011 with a new clutch in the transmission and NOW IT HAD THE SAME WEIRD NOISE AND VIBRATION BUT LESS THAN IN THE BEGINING AND THE CAR SHAKES BADLY WHEN STOPPED. It means it had the same problems than before and another one. I took again the car to the dealer on 10/22/11 to check it again. On 10/26/11 they told me again that "THE CAR WAS OPERATING WITHIN FORD SPECIFICATIONS" and that "AFTER 1000 MORE MILES IT WILL BE RIGHT" Also, now it has the same weird noise, vibration, shakes and a new noise when press brake pedal to release park, but, according to Ford, "THE CAR IS OPERATING WITHIN FORD SPECIFICATIONS" My conclusion is that if FORD SPECIFICATION are like that I realy don't want to have a ford. This is my first Ford vehicle and it is a LEMON CAR. According to what I heard, Ford Focus 2012 has transmission weird noise and vibration but Ford doesn't now how to solve this problem. That's why "THE CAR WAS OPERATING WITHIN FORD SPECIFICATIONS" Be carefull if you have a Ford and it has weird noise and vibration in transmission and in the dealer the answer is "THE CAR IS OPERATING WITHIN FORD SPECIFICATIONS" God Bless You All:)

First off,i have been a Ford guy forever,but having said that,you REALLY need to do something about the 6 speed transmissions in 2007 and newer Explorers and Sport TRacs.It is not a very good operating unit.Mine jerks goes in and out of gear,can't decide if it will stay in 5th or 6th gear(Not very safe)nobody seems to be able to repair it and i am not alone.Ford is pissing off a lot of people who were at last buying American but because of this may not again--Especially a Ford--Pretty BAD press--Thanks,now do something--Tom

Ford needs to look in to the 2008 F150 fast. It had 60000 miles good truck. 3 Days ago i was going down the road and look out my back glass and guess what. The back of the truck on fire. what the h-ll. it was told that the wireing in the tank was bad. TRUCK NEVER BEEN WORK ON BUT FOR OIL CHANGE. CAN WE SAY RECALL. WHAT TO DO? I'LL BE CALLING YOU FORD.

I have always been a Ford girl. I leased several times and then when I leased my 2002 Ford Windstar I decided to purchase it when the lease was up. I have had AT LEAST 4 recalls on it and just received another. I have had to have to brakes done 5 times. And when I took it in for an oil change they gave it back to me with a busted windshield. They replaced the windshield at no cost to me, but when I asked for documentation of the windshield being replaced, in case I ever decided to sell it, the dealer refused. I am SO DISAPPOINTED with Ford. We just sold our 2000 Ford F150 and are looking to purchase a new car and I am looking to get something that is NOT a Ford!! Ford has been with my family for YEARS and that is about to change because of the poor workmanship in this car and service I was given.

I bought a 2011 ford focus April 2011 at Sallisaw Ford, in Sallisaw, ok. At 11,000 miles the tires had dips, causing loud road noise, and vibrations. when I told the shop supervisor about my problem, he informed me that ford would not replace the tires. he said he ahs owned a 2009 focus and that he replaced his tires about every 20,000 or 25000 miles which was normal for a focus, which is a crock. I have seen on the net that there is a class action on ford focus

Can anyone tell me why Ford can't take responsibility for anything? Is it the dealerships or is it Ford themselves? Dear, Ford can you please tell all these people why you have no issues selling them cars, but when it comes down to selling cars that break down you run and hide and blame the world? I have never heard anything like this before..Why would you do that to your customers? This is why Sundays are a dealerships busiest day. The only thing not lying from Ford is the cars and I promise if they could talk they would be programmed to screw you too. Ford needs to read these and instead of laughing like one post said they do I think they need to take all these complaints very seriously and start being responsible. Fix these issues for your customers and be able to look at yourself in the mirror with some honesty.

Ford motor company has problems. I was driving a 2011 3/4 ton ford pickup with the new 6.2 liter engine. It sucks, the power is poor the acceleration is poor, the engine commited suicide and has to be replaced with less than 12,000 miles on it. To top all of this off, the service I am recieving is extremely poor. Ford has had this pickup for 4 weeks now and I am told it may be 3-4 more weeks before the vehicle is repaired. Ford has made no offer to compensate me during this time and to top that off I am making payments on a vehicle which I do not posses. This is the last Ford vehicle I will ever own.

Recently I called a Ford dealership in Tulsa, OK (Joe Cooper Ford) to buy a Dodge Challenger because they had a really good deal on it. I spoke with them for a week straight to make sure that I was going to be approved for financing. I live in Woodward, Ok which is about a3 hour drive. When I got there they told me that I was not approved. I spoke with the manager before I drove up there for him to tell me that there was no issues and I could drive the car off the lot that day. When I got there I had to have the finance manager tell me I wasn't. DO NOT TRUST THOSE GUYS. They will tell you anything you want to hear over the phone and straight up LIE to get you there. The funny thing is my friend went up there the following week to buy a car that was suppose to be held for him and they sold it. They lied to him and said that the vehicle was sold 3 days ago, but was told that morning it was still there for him to come down. They just tried to sale him another vehicle....THEY ARE CROOKS.

Why is it when I apply for credit from ford I have to do It many times if I go to another ford dealer.And also why do I have to bring my pay check to the dealer before I get approved for credit.Tell me is that fords way of doing bussiness!

bought a new 37 foot motor home on a ford f450 with a v10 and trying to get service done on it and no dealer in my area will service it, say they don't know how or can't get it in the building, SO ford why sell these things have no one to service it, talked to forest river and said it is a ford problem.

just wanted to thank ford for helping myself to shop for a different company for new pickup, to build pickup that does not come with a standard transmission is stupid, and further why would you not have just a basic truck rather a work truck. i consider myself a ford man just like my father before me. so thanks for destroying a family tradition. oh by the way. my son agrees with me.

I cannot believe the amount of personal information people place on sites like this which are accessed by millions of people daily. Read the news people, there are stalkers out there, and ID thieves who LOVE people who are not savvy enough to understand the dangers involved. Having said that, I want to take a moment to THANK each of you for your comments, most of which have left me laughing my happy hind-quarters off. I do feel bad that Ford sold vehicles to you. Maybe we should have requested you take an IQ test first. We love you all. When sales are slow, we gather around the manager's computer, read and laugh.

I bought a used vehicle from Rodriguez Ford Mercury which came with an Auto Care Maintenance program which covered fluid changes on oil and transmission. Last one was in Aug. 2011. Well in Sept. less than a month later the transmission gave out The repair shop told me the sludge in the transmission was so thick it had never been inspected since the birth of the vehicle. Well I called and told them due to their negligence I felt they should repair. Well Mgr. of sales washed his hands off said he was new and it was before his time. Mgr. of finance said Auto Care is expired, can't do anything and if you return vehicle Ford doesn't lose anything you in turn lose your credit everywhere. Owner, CEO and President Mr. Rodgriguez never bothered to return my call. While the salesman who helped me was very professional, the MANAGEMENT showed very little care for clients. Should I give Ford my business again? Does Ford care about their customers once the sale is made? Friends beware, think twice it could cost you $2400 like it did me and they turned their backs on me when all they had to do was admit their negligence and repair my vehicle.

My name is Tina Thornberry,Christina is our daughter,I am writing to you for help, see we are a low income family that has had it rough over the last 9 years.Christina was born 1 lb 5 oz and 11 and 3/4 inches long she went all the way down to 14oz.I am a disabled women unable to work and my husband has had 5 surgery's in the last 3 years he is a cancer survivor.But he is now enrolled into ITT Tech to try and get a job a better job.Not only is it just the 3 of us we have my oldest daughter which is 24 my granddaughter in which is 3 ,my mother our other angle in which is 66 years old and helps take care of us.Christina has had allot of major problems she finally came off a ventilator at age 4and 1/2 she is always home bound due to our transportation.She started walking after age 6.Christina is our gift please don't think for 1 minute we would not want her in our lives she is our Angle,She has mild Cerebral Palsy-Autism and asperger .She is a loving wonderful child she will be 9 years old on OCT 30,her due date was Feb 15th so i only got to carry her 24 weeks and we payed everyday and night for her to live.We are very traumatized over not have transportation not just for her therapeutics,Doctor app ts but she cant just go to the park or for a ride.Our van broke down over a year ago and we are still not able to fix it and we have't had a Christmas in 3 years and she has never had a birthday party.I usually never ask for help but i don't know where to turn anymore do you know anyone that can help our family?Thank you for taking the time to read this ,Tina Thornberry
