I owned a 2003 f150 Harley-Davidson supercharged model, it was an awesome truck. I had built myself an engine a couple winters ago and managed to get about 600 RWHP and 800 ft/lb of torque out of it with quite a few modifications. It was my pride and joy, until a drunk driver pulled out in front of me. I was able to avoid the drunk individual, but not the telephone pole that was rather large. I hit the pole at about 60 mph and it caught right on the frame on the driver side. The pole broke into 3 pieces and my truck kept going, it went about another 60-80 feet then I stopped it once I was out of the way of traffic. I suffered no injuries, not a scratch! Well other than mild whiplash. I'm here to say the f150 is one solid truck and I'm convinced that it saved my life. I would not have wanted to be in some compact car at that time, and I think that Ford has done an excellent job of making their pick up trucks safe. I'm currently looking for another Ford Harley-Davidson, or a nice mustang body to put that engine into as the accident did no damage to the engine. Like I said, one solid truck. I was wearing my safety belt and was never touched by the air bag which both deployed on impact. I think they have done an excellent job of making the modular engine easy to work on and dependable, I have the 5.4 V8 and I love it!! It is the same in my 1997 expedition and that truck has 230,000 miles on it and runs as good as it did when it was new. Thanks to you Ford engineers and team members, you guys are the best!

This is information for the Ford Explorer Hybrid [ours is a 1999]. On 11/20/2011 we were in route to visit relatives in the bay area. Going up Pacheco Pass our hybrid suddenly stopped without warning. We were able to pull it over and out of harms way. Waited a few then put it in park, turned the key and it started right up. That was a relief as we were in a location that was very dangerous. Our concern was/is the serious accident that could have taken our lives and possibly others had we not been able to pull over to the side[pile up]. Drove on to Gilroy, it was a Sunday, called the individual that sold us the vehicle [our sales guy is awsome - had his cell number] who gave us enough information to continue on to our destination and took the vehicle into a dealer for repair the following day. A sensor was replaced at no cost as it was covered under warranty. We are now nervious about long trips in our hybrid. Beware/be aware if you have a Ford Hybrid, this could happen to you.. It looks like Ford does not make it easy to communicate with them and after reading some of the comments made by others on this site, they are not responsive.. Its just a matter of time before they end up in a mess like Toyota was in..

I purchased a 2011 fors explorer! I NEVER will buy any fors again! I am ready to give them my keys and walk away. I have never been treated so poorly, disrespected & called a liar ever let alone by a sales man as well being told he did not need my business, this is all over a set of license plates. I want to give back my car, I never want to have to deal with Power Fors in Scottsdale again.

I have a 2008 Ford Expedition EL Limited with less than 60,000 miles on it. I have had one of the motors go out on the running boards. They want $2000 to replace it. I will sell it for a loss of more than that before I give them $2000 for a small motor for a running board. In addition, I am buying my daughter a Toyota now instead of the Fusion that I was planning. In Summary, think twice before you buy a FORD. If you do, DO NOT buy one with the moving running boards....

Ford and its dealerships are garbage. I own a 2006 Ford F150 that i purchased in 2008 USED. I also purchased an used ESP, or so i thought. The dealership in Elkhart IN is where I got it. Now since there is ticking in the engine, my warranty has expired. After talking to the dealership AND FORD I was sold a NEW car warranty for a USED truck to the tune of 2200.00. according to the dealership they "did the paperwork wrong" and I pd for a warranty that covered the first guy who owned my truck. Long story short my LEGAL paper work shows a purchase date of 6/08 and a begin mileage @ 32334, this is all on my warranty sheet. I researched the ticking and had it looked at 3 times, and got 2 different answers, the plugs are bad, and 2 that said the cam phasers are bad. My research found that the 5.4L motors are junk. The cam phasers go out, and FORD wont honor your warranty because of oil sludge in the motor. OK FORD do the math why is there sludge in the motor...... not due to the lack of maintance! I had to turn this over to my Attorney General here in IN to handle this. BUT IT GETS BETTER!!!!! Last thursday i took my truck in for the driverside air bag SAFTEY RECALL. My service man called them because my truck has a anti theft lock on the air bag that needs a special key. They call FORD to get that key and FORD said "we dont have the key use a dremel tool to cut the lock" REALLY FORD!!!!! COME ON. I have placed a call to FORD to get this KEY to do this recall THE PROPER WAY!! I WILL BE TRADING THIS PIECE OF CRAP AND I WILL NEVER BUY A FORD AGAIN!

I have a 2011 Ford Focus that I got from Sunrise Ford in Fontana CA last year in November. At first I was super excited that I was finally going to get a car with my hard working money. In July the engine light came on and I started to here a rattling/vibrating sound underneath the engine and also started to hear what appeared to be an extremely loud sound by the engine it actually sounds like a helicopter. The noise is super loud that we are able to hear it with the radio on. I have taken back 5 times to that same dealership and have taken it one last time to Citrus Ford in Ontario CA. The technicians advised me that the sounds of the vehicle is there and that it is not normal, however that they cannot do anything with it because they cannot find the problem. He also told me that he knew how I am feeling because he also has the same car and it is not making any of the sounds my Lemon is making. How do you expect to find something on the vehicle, when all the entire technician did was called the Ford Helpline. So in the mean time that Ford wiped their hands off this Lemon that they put me in. I am still making my car payments because of my credit, as much as I don't want to do it. As of now I still cannot believe how ford is treating me. All I want to do is to return this LEMON Ford Focus back to you FORD and for you to return all my money back to me. I can't believe how you are still letting me keep this Lemon after your technicians told me themselves that it is not safe to drive around. This is the only car I have. I wish that I still had my Mustang that I traded in to you guys. That car never gave me problems! I can't believe you are treating me this way after I have been a loyal customer to you Ford. At this moment FORD you are making me sad because the car I am making a payment on for over a year is not safe for me to drive my family in.

Hey, Ford. I just wanted to say I have a 1997 f 150 with 369 thousand miles on it and its never been rebuilt. It runs great and still doesn't burn oil. I have a 4.2 v6. Truck still looks good too and gets 20mpg on highway. I also have a ford f250 van with 293 thousand mi. Doesn't realy burn oil, runs well . Never had any problems with either vehicle. Question, how many miles do I have to put on my f 150 before ford notices ? Thanks.

We brought a 2012 Ford from Billingsley in Lawton, Ok. The Service Department was so bad they wouldn't care what you said to them. They told my Wife she didn't know what she was saying. She knows how to work on cars. They showed know repect for her and she went into a seizure. That's not good business. So we traded the Billingsley Ford off at Diffee Ford Dealership in El Reno, Ok. They both was good at selling you a car. But SERVICE DEPARTMENT for FORD ARE KNOW GOOD ANYMORE. This was our Fifth New Ford Car for us. FORD You have went down hill on your SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I called you in Michigan and you told me it's the dealership problem not your. That's wrong. SO, WE TRADED THE FUSION 2012 OFF FOR A CHEVROLET. THAT'S BECAUSE OF THE WAY YOU ARE DOING BAD BUSINESS. WE DIDN'T THINK YOU WOULD TURN OUT SO BAD IN BUSINESS. YOU JUST DON'T CARE ANYMORE. SO YOU LOST US AS A FORD CUSTOMER. THE CHEVROLET IS A 2012. GREAT CAR AND GREAT SERVICE. THE DEALERSHIP IS JIM GLOVER IN LAWTON, OK. SORRY FORD TURN OUT TO BE A BAD COMPANY.

I have a 2002 ford f150 april 9th of 2011 this year I parked my f150 ford lariot crewcab truck at10.30 pm 12 hours later at 10.30 am the next morning my nephew told me that my trucc was on fire. When I opened the front door The engine conparnment was Ingulped in Flames. I grabbed a garden hose and told someone ot call the fire deparment but when they got there it was too late they pried the hood up to soak what was left of My engine . There was nothing left the fire had gotten so hot that It melted everything I mean everything the engine raditor finderwells Blowed 2 front tires that was new melted a hole jn the windshield and burnet a small hole in head liner. Anyway just like all of the outher millions of ford complaints I am no different I cannot get any justice from the ford company. MY problem is that I tried to get the Firemarcial to investigate the fire but when I told Him the truck was paid for He declined.I am 100 persent disabled and cannt afford to buy anouther one.SO I hope that the goverment or Attorneys join together and make Ford do the right thing. I donot expect a new truck I just want my beatiful 4 door croamed out truck fixed the same way it was before it was burnet. So everyone should pull together even if it takes buying a different vehicle outher than ford. MY NAME IS GENE STOKER IF ANYONE FEELS GENEROUS AND HAS MORE MONEY THAN ME WITCH IS ANY AND YOU HAVE A FOUR DOOR TRUCK YOU WOULD LIKE TO GIVE ME I WOULD DO ANYTHING IN MY POWER TO HELP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.My phone number is 863 441 4408 my address is 217 plumosa st. I own a 2002 f150 ext cab, my friend owns a 2000 f150 ext cab and neighbour owns a 2004 ext cab with 30000 k's, while visiting a dealership in Welland, ont, can, for a minor recall problem, small harness, my friend expressed his concern about a problem with the odometer lights- dash digital going on & off occasionally,My truck and other friend also have this problem, The counter person brougth up the fact that this is a common problem, Not being a safety concern they Ford shrugs it off, In this dain age where people bust their ass off to purchase a vehicle and Ford motor company bragging about their quality, You would think they would do something about it, Like the money grubbers they are they want an average of $500.00 + to repair a problem that should of never happened in the first place,If any one else has this problem feel free to express yourself to Ford headquarters as i am gonna do after this letter,You wonder why export vehicle sales kick ass, Seriously thinking of another purchase in the next 2 years, Ford is losing my confidence when I hear It's a common problem these trucks are having and they want ypou to dish out $500.00 +, What a joke, I hope you are reading this Ford Motor Comp.

My Ford exscursion has been in the shop due to fire/smike damage and Ford Motor Company refuses to fix it or get back in touch with me. The findings of the damage were caused by a Saftey Recall part..in wich Ford motor comapany never sent me notice by way of mail, phone or email. I feel that they should have more strict policies put on them when the reacall is A Saftey Recall, to contact the owners of said vehicles. I have furnished them with everything they have asked for and they will not repond. My car is still at the dealer waiting on a response, The dealer has stated in a letter to Ford that the Speed Control Deactivation Switch is the case of the fire/smoke, Recall (05S28) i call daily to Ford only for them to tell me that The Office Of General counsel has the case they can not comment..I guess they leave me with no alternative than to seek legal action. Im sure the more i dig the more people that they are screwing over. Looks to me like they need a media frenzy investigation, to treat people..the way they should treat people who buy their product.

10/20/2010 Bought a 2011 F250 Lariat SD LWB Crew Cab 4x4. It has been back to the dealer(Miracle Ford) 6 times for the vibration problem. I could go on and on about everything that has been done to my truck, but won't. Ford customer service has been in touch with me since I contacted them in September 2011. Mind you I have been dealing with this since March. In late September (09/29/2011), I was told by Brian(customer service rep)with Ford, that Ford was done working on my truck for this problem. Well Ford it's not that easy and I won't be going away, except from buying Ford vehicles in the future. All I ask is that my 57,000 dollar truck be fixed. Regardless of your most recent response of "vibration is a normal characteristic of typical operation for this vehicle" I guess it would be to much to ask if you would have included this on your commercials or on the window sticker. I will pursue further avenues over this matter. Hope this helps guide anyone dealing with Ford in the near future! Ernie McGee 3015 Ironwood Dr Nashville,Tennessee 37214

I'm writing to you because everywhere I've turned so far I get the run around and no answers. I've been a Ford owner fora long time my first ford was a 1960 falcon I have been a Ford owner along long time. Now I have a ford pickup 2006 . I was taking my truck to a dealer for service but I found out that the dealer was not servicing the truck as I paid them to do. They told me they did a 72 point inspection on the truck before I bought it and the was not true. I was a little suspicious and had the truck serviced by a friend who is a machanic. To my surprise he found the rear end very low on oil and the front dif. full of water. When I confronted the dealer he said that was not included in a full service. Now I find out that the design of the 5.4 liter engine makes it difacult to chabge the spark plugs. I have spent alot of money to get six of the eight plugs out of this engine. I called the dealer for help and he said at a cost of 165.00 per plug they would help.At this point I have 15 hours labor and two special tools invested. One spark plug to go. Can you tell me what direction I can go. My truck has been down for along time. I would like an address to get ananswer to some question thanks Dan Wilke @ DLWING85@aol.com

on october 28 2011 i buy a kia off of matthew ford in newark ohio the 4th day i called saleman that sold the car and went out to matthew he told me it balljoint on the car was bad i paided lot of moneyfor this car i feel they made it right it have a warrany and they dont want fix it what can i do about it i thinking calling a lawyer about it

I've bought 2 brand new Ford trucks in 2011. One was a decked out Lariat and the was and XLT. After it was all said and done, I discovered monies that shouldve been discounted, packages that I should not have had to pay for because of the model and I can keep going until my blood pressure goes through the roof. A few months later, I have a very simple question and have contacted the dealership, other dealerships and as high up as I can go with the corporate headquarters for an answer. Not one person will answer it for me. This is the LAST time I will ever buy a ford!!! NEVER AGAIN!!

I would like to let everyone know that FORD does not know what customer satisfaction means. The trunk door of our explorer cracked in the middle and according to the dealership it is a common problem and they have seen alot of the same issue. They also said that some had been recalled and they were not sure why we didn't get any notice. In short, to get our FORD EXPLORER fix, we have to pay for it. BEWARE,,, THINK A MILLION TIMES BEFORE BUYING FROM FORD....

Let me explain my rating of 1 star first. I am only rating the issues that I have with my Ford Escape. I like my Escape accept for 2 things.......rain and snow. First my wipers stink. We own a 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid and have replaced our windshield wipers more for this vehicle than our 1998 Bonneville (13 years of ownership and yet more wipers purchased for a 4 year ownership of the escape) I have tried many different kinds of wipers and they work well for a short time and than right in the place of vision smug no wiping clean so I can see. Any answers for me? Very frustrating. Second when it snows and even when it rains traction stinks. New tires did not help this matter. When at a stop and ready to put on the gas I skid, even when the road is just a little wet from sprinkles. On the highway when raining and its just a little windy I have to hang on tight to the steering wheel for fear of washing away into the ditch. When it is sunny I absolutely love my Escape.

To William Clay Ford And The Board of Directors. My Name is Peter M.McSwiggin 21 Liberty St. Middleton, Ma 01949 978-774-4407 508-397-4444 Would like you to consider the Rebirth of the (Model T Ford) for strickley a (TOWN CAR) maybe as a second or even a 3rd car just to be driven around Town. To be built as close to the same as the origional one manufactured back in 1909 I believe it sold for $909.00. Hopefully you could sell todays version for $9009.00 and up, depending on what the customer would like in them. My feeling is that they would sell like Hot Cakes and you wouldn't be able to keep up with the orders. I would bet a years pay on it. I can just vision all the different Model T's runnung around Town etc. After taking an early retirement, I'm now working as an Background Actor, and as a member of The Screen Actors Guild being a Council Member could see the movie industry scooping up many of these for their period movies. It would definently be a Fun Car. Would like to know how you would feel about the same in that order. Thanking you in Advance I Remain, Peter M. McWiggin.

I bought a Ford Windstar to start a small business. It was 3 yrs. old and had only 21,000 miles. I had so many problems with it, from the rack and pinion steering having to be completely replaced, to a failed transmission at 51,000 miles and rust in the quarter panels, that I finally got rid of it. That buyer got rid of it after only 1 year too. No one can afford to own a Ford vehicle. Quality is almost non-existent and the customer service isn't interested in your problems. I think they build these cars and trucks as a way of keeping their repair shops busy. And now they saw they are better and will hold their value better than Toyota. More Ford lies and slander.
