Have 2000 windstar that sat in lot for recall for 8 months, Now my mechanic told me to get rid of it because the old oil that sat in the motor turned to sludge.Only 70,000 miles was going to drive for afew more years. looking for anything but Ford

Ford Fusion seemed like a dream when we bought it in 2006! After a year things started coming off! first little things like the buttons for the seats that pump up the back fusion. Then a few years ago the windows motor stopped working the chome on the inside and out started peeling off! by the time the handle broke in the inside door the warranty was over. Of course new its paid off my husband suddenly died at age 39! It keeps falling apart! rim even has a crack in it. I suppose the dad who worked at Ford as a chemical eng.are happy? Not!! husband thought he was buy ing me a great Christmas present which he was! I suppose there's nothing I can do now my dad worked for Ford as a Chemist for many many years as well! They both are gone and probably ashamed of Ford that a favorite daughter and beloved wife is going through this without any ki nd of help or answers for

Also a questionon the whereabouts of my late husbands title for a truck we made an agreement in writing with Ford credit to pay off at a one time amount and I never received the title!! Plus trying to say we still I have the agreement recording written and copies of all of it! been over 10 years this has went on now hehas passed on what am I gonna do with his old truck?I am a widowI need the money!???where the title ?

im writting this because I work for a supplier for you that has been outsorcing parts from thier plant to another for cheaper labor of parts we make for you and have them shipped back to our plant to be re labled then shipped to you and wonder what would happen to that plant i think they are making these parts for cheap but still charging u for same high price i feel a letter should be sent out to each supplier a warning if this is being done email me with answer at michman6mi@lycos.com

First off why doesn't ford grow up and fix all the BS that they put out Go check out ZESTAR.com and find he real info. I have a 2003 escape Which is a piece of crap wait until the truth is exposed about ford and there So called quality control checks. Wait until the workers you have working For yourcompany and the mechanics learn about the cuddle contract You have on the 2003 escape. Oh I cannot wait for that day to come. And it will be soon I tell you. Oh and by the way too all who need OEM Crap parts from ford go to autoparts.com atleast they don't rape you like F'in ford does.

I own a 2011 EDGE Limited I am not inpress with or please with my ford produced. I switch From Loyal GM owener to Ford after I bought a 2005 Ford F150 I was so impress I bought the Edge. I spoke to one of your ford reps and she offered me one month car note. That in itself would make me happy if the scyn problem had a fix But I was given the impression that you don't know when the will be done. This is unacceptable for a new car that I paid for bumper warranty for six years and 41,000 dollars this sucks. I am very unhappy with my car and debating selling for another car not FORD.

I noticed others also have had rebate problems with The Ford Motor Company. I also did not get an expectant rebate for a Ford product purchased from a Ford Dealer, because of a problem, I believe was created by the Ford Motor Company. Their lawyers and the Board of Directors were made aware of this problem and have seen fit to accept it as an acceptable way of doing business. I get an opportunity to evaluate many products each year. No matter what the product is I make sure I include a sentence which states something similar to the following. Since they completely ignore most of their problems sighted on this web site, I recommend everybody who does not get some satisfaction from FORD Motor Company do something similar. At least you will let others know how you and others are treated by the FORD Motor Company. The best thing about this product is that it is not a Ford Motor Company product; therefore I will not be disappointed when I do not receive a deserved rebate.

We bought a Ford Explorer in El Salvador and travel a lot through Central America in this car. Goes to maintenance every 5000 km!!! But once in Honduras we had a broken thermostat in the middle of nowhere. In Tegucigalpa Ford Dealer they told us that is the weak point of this car!! Never again a Ford. All Japs are better so are the europeans like Volkswagen en BMW in which we drove for 20 years in Holland.

I am fed up with my dealership. I hope you're not so difficult. I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of the Sync in my Ford. I don't want an upgrade. I don't want to make it better. I don't want to use the services. I want to get rid of it. Failing that, I'd like the lady to stop talking to me so I can ignore the system. I don't want to hear her voice any more. I've already emailed Ford. I'll write the Board of Directors. I'm a good Ford fan. I like my car. But I really don't like the Sync and want to operate the good car without the Sync. To my great surprise, a salesman today at my dealership told me to "shoot" the Sync and I was rather upset about that. I do want to use the phone in it. I do want to hear the radio. But I DON'T want the Sync. I should be able to get the lady to shut up, and for all my effort, she's still talking. I have emailed. I will write. But I thought I'd post here as well, so other people in the world could hear this: if I had known this lady was going to be this annoying, and that I would not be able to turn her off, I'd not have bought the car.

Hi I unload ford at a autorack rail yard from the day I started.. I don't like the way the fords was being transport. Well first is the focus they load up 6 unit on C and B deck on tri's and most of the time there is damage cuz there so close and now the 2012 focuses come to us with dead battery and lock doors. I've owned 3 of them, only got 235k miles out of the 86, did a little better with the 92 it got 247k miles, now the 07 I have sits at 72k on the clock and runs very well. I own a 1984 F150 351HO the worst gas guzzler I ever owned. Will not run proper new carb holly shit built for ford oil leaks everywhere and believe it or not just over 61000 original miles. Will be selling in the spring with hopes of never owning a ford ever again. Are they in compitition with Chrysler on who will build the best junker out there.I also have in my ford junk collection a 2004 Focus to which i wished i was in focus before getting this supreme piece of junk. It has had 2 engines put into this rolling wonder machine to which both have blown up, something to do with Ford engineers knowing all about these problems but they still sold the junk to the public. I will go on welfare before i ever own a ford again!!!!!

Just bought a 93 ford ranger XLT having trouble with engine light. This is the first American vehicle I have owned in sometime. Guess what I am going back to my Hyundau 363,000 miles original engine and Transmission. After this I hate to say it no more buy American. We should be building the best cars in the world.

I would like to point out Fords biggest issue. I bought a 2011 Ford Explorer limited AWD last year and have had problems with it since day one. Now the fact that I have had it in atleast a dozen times still with no fix is not why I will not be purchasing a Ford next time round. Because no matter what auto maker you go with they will all have their problems. The difference with Ford is the process in which they identify and do repairs. My Explorer was the first new year model change and with that comes a lot of small issues and rattles to be fixed. No biggie for such an awesome ride right! Wrong...Ford will not authorize a repair or even investigate an issue if they can't first replicate the sound or noise of the problem. On some of the earlier builds a bad batch of cooling fans were going bad and causing our Explorers to overheat and shutting down. Some would go out with no warning and others blow warm air when using the A/C and some would squeal on shutdown. But even though mine made the sound and was within the build date of known bad batch. They would not replace because they could not relicate. 3 days in still no fix. Also a widespread very known issue with all 2011 Explorers was the infamous A-pillar noise. The gaskets were designed poorly and in cross winds would make them flap and buzz sounding like angry bees in your windshield. Since it only happened in the right kind of cross wind it was very hard for dealers to diagnose this espcially when your service department is in a city. But after numerous visits in for this issue alone they finaly replicated the noise. But they had no fix just tape and glue. So finaly they come out with a thicker gasket but though it's better it's still not quite. Then I have had ratlles that were always their but for some reason they said they couldn't hear them. So after two more visits for that on the third trip the replicated it and repaired it. So it becomes easy to see what the problem is. Theres more but not all the times it's been in were bad but things like the fans and A-pillars were no brainers! they were so common and widespread that it shouldn't of taken 10 trips 10 days off work to get a $50,000 vehicle working! who has that kind of time to take off and how can Ford expect me to do that just to get my car fixed. I knew buying a new model year it would have it's little issues but I didn't think Ford would put me on trial before they would even look at the problem! Not to mention all the gas they used test driving trying to replicate these issues one time he put over 50 miles on it and still no fix. Ford you have built the cars and trucks people want to buy, but if your service doesn't improve on these issues you will lose everything you have taken from your competitors. Basically calling us liars when we bring our cars to you for repair is not the way to do business. I don't expect to walk in tell you my engines bad and expect you to replace it. But these were very known issues that should have been fixed the first time. You need to find some middle ground here. Do the test drive but don't stop there if you can't hear a noise. Actually look at the problem and see if theirs something that can be done to identify/fix the problem don't just send your customers away with no repair and tell them to come back when they can replicate the noise.

My daughter and I were in an accident last week. I was not driving a Ford 500 .....2006 model. The airbag connector was completely severed. In other words, the air bag should have automatically deployed. It did not deploy. Thank God we were not injuried. Ford corporate office is not willing to test the air bag or get the restraint module (like black box on a plane) and test or look at anything. Thank God we are okay.Ikey 6

I bought a 1999 Expedition in 2002 and I can say the best vehicle I have ever owned. It had 93,000 miles on it, my wife had hesitation bout the miles but I am an ASE certified mechanic and inspected it completely and only found a leaking rear axle seal, no complaint because of the mileage you can expect minor things like that. I drive my truck very hard and have buried it in the mud and water many time. I use it to hall heavy trailers, one time I used it to pull a 10,000 pound fork lift from peason arizona to albuquerque that did not include the weight of the trailer or the truck. I keep it well maintained. I have had to do the fuel pump twice but as a mechanic i have seen far worse. I also had to rebuild the rear diff but that was around 200,000 miles and lots of hard work and some abuse. Like i said I drive it hard, but it's built Ford tough. I use it to take my family everywhere because it is reliable and very safe. The biggest and most exciting thing is after it had 220,000 miles on it I decided to put a magna supercharger on it, and let me tell you I beat the heck out of it for a year. after the installation it was pedal to the metal all the time everywhere, as soon as the light turned green I was off full speed. Sadly I have to say I locked up the engine at 230,000 miles. I never had a head gasket problem or spark plug problem it is the best. I am rebuilding the engine on it right now and I am doing some upgrades to it and will be spending around $4,300 to do it but it is worth every penny I wouldn't trade it for anything I love it and look forward to the next 230,000 miles or more of adventure and reliabiltyy. FORD MADE THIS TRUCK RIGHT. My dad is also a mechanic and has always owned a ford and has also worked for ford. thanks for a great truck you couldn't get me to give it up for anything you will have to pry the steering wheel from my cold dead fingers if you want it.
