enterprise is terrible and like the gentleman said all you get is a im sorry" and No.... charges to my card repeatly that put me in a nagative balance with bank fees.. that they did not cover I feel I need to take this to a attorney. Do not give them your info go somewhere else. Hello Hertz...

Horrible experience!

Will NEVER rent a car from this company again. The workers at my local Enterpise are the best scam artist around. I gave my credit card as a deposit after I was in a car accident and needed a rental until my car was fixed. The guy who helped me assured the car I was going to rent was in my car renters insurance means. Meaning, I will not have to pay out of pocket. This turned into a huge ordeal when I was presented with a Gigantic bill from enterprise expecting me to pay. Needless to say I made a complaint with corporate about the incorrect bill that was sent to me. I got nothing but a "sorry" from corporate. I especially told enterprise corporate and the regional manager that the charge can not be put on my credit card because the car insurance is supposed to cover it. Apparently they just "yes' me to death and on my next credit card bill I had the charge there when it was supposed to be covered by the lady who hit my car. Needless to say a dispute with my credit card company is on going and lawyers are involved. All Enterprise does is lie. So disappointing! Then my car needed more fixing after it was returned to me so that meant I needed another rental..... Ended up going to Hertz and it was a breeze working with them. Big difference between the two companies.

Bunch of Robbers

I was robbed by Enterprise at Amherst, MA. I was one hour late in returning the car but was charged for FULL day. This is outrages and will never use enterprise again. Try Dollar Car or Trifty as they are at least human.

Owner

I rented a car for one day . I was charged for two days and was also charged for $20 of gas which the car was on a half of tank. This happen in Greenville, NC. The person that was in charged was very rude. I told him the car had a half a tank when it return it. He called me a lie in from of other customers. The worst service I have had in a long time.

Will Never Use again

I will never again use this company again. I will tell everyone I know never to use this company again. What bad business practice. Charging for damage that does not exsist. I was told by a friend NOT to use the North ProvidenceRI Branch. I should have listened. They took a very bad time in my life and made it worse. AWEFUL AWEFUL AWEFUL!!!!

Scam - He lied openly

When I went to rent a car on an insurance claim, the manager at Enterprise told me that the insurance (of the at fault party) would only cover a COMPACT car (I'm 6ft 1") - and they only had INTERMEDIATE cars available. So he would have to charge me the difference on the cars. I told him it was not my fault they did not have a compact car, I've been waiting 2 days for a rental and he told me I would have one today. He brings around a Ford Focus and tells me he will let me drive it for the day but bring it back tomorrow for a compact car. The next day I called the at fault party insurance and they said THEY WOULD COVER UP TO AN INTERMEDIATE CAR and they know this at Enterprise!! Also - the Ford Focus he gave me and wanted to charge me for - IS A COMPACT CAR - so he was trying to charge me extra for a car he claimed he didn't have - although I was eligible for a larger car anyway.

Lost this customer

I will spare you the details. Lets just say that from mishandling the rental arrangements, not having the vehicle I indicated, not following through on their misleading advertisement "we'll pick you up", overcharging my account, no follow-up when a complaint was voiced... No need to continue...you get the picture. Please go somewhere, anywhere else to rent your vehicle. You are not missing out on anything with this company unless you want your business to be taken for granted. I would give them a negative star rating if possible. As it is...one is one too much.

terrible customer service - scam

I rented a car which had a little dent. When i asked if this should be marked on the contract, i was told, that this is too little and for this reason, they don't mark it on the contract. When i returned the car, i was told, that i am responsible for that dent, which was already existing when i rented the car and now i am responsible for payment. What a scam! Further, the car was 45 min.late and not ready and just came from the car park where it was washed and was wet. If i wouldn't have insisted to change the pick-up time, i am sure, that they would have also charged me for another day at the time of return, if i returned it at the same time, as i recieved the car because the grace period is only 30 min. Terrible customer service and really a scam!

Poor Business Decision

I have used Enterprise for years for all of my car rentals, now I am forced to use their competitor for my rental needs. The reason for this, is their decision to stop allowing a debit card to secure the car. They will however allow it if you live where you are renting and can show proof of residence or if you have a round trip air line ticket. However for someone like me that travels for work and drives my work truck everywhere and also no longer believes in major credit cards is not allowed, regardless of past rental history with this company. With as many large corporations going out of business because of poor decisions it makes me wonder if Enterprise will still be in business in the years to come. More and more people are changing the way they look at major credit, and eliminating all major credit cards, so, Enterprise you might want to rethink this new policy.

Horrible Customer Service.

I rented a car from the office in Columbia, TN for almost 2 months and one week they ran my card on a Friday instead of Monday and the card was declined. They sent me a nasty letter to which I verbally responded and they proceeded to come and pick up the car. The General Manager lied and said my card had been declined and that is why they took the car. I called my bank, only to find they had indeed processed the transaction. Calls to the local director went unanswered and I became carless.

Quick and Easy

I have to say I am shocked to read all these negitive reviews! I have been renting from Enterprise for years and I am very happy with them. Although I will say that the service recieved at the Airports seems a little diferant than that at offices. I did have a problem at a local office, but when i approached the manager and told her about the attitude i recieved. she gave me a free rental! All the Airports i fly in and out of are fast and easy. No problems at all.

SCAM

I rented a car with a large scratch but was told the scratch was "nothing" by the agent who was also the manager of the Crystal City VA office. Upon returning the car at the Philadelphia Airport, was told I was responsible for the damage that I had not done. Had witnesses to verity the damage was pre-existing. Now being taken to collection agency for $1200 three months later, with no contact since dropping off the car. I think the damage happened in their parking lot, and they've figured out a way to make someone else pay.

I visited the enterprise located on Foster Ave Brooklyn NY the worst service ever.I don't where to begin I brought my kids along with me to pick up a car and the ladies, well I don't know if I should call them ladies were cursing up a storm and I had to quickly cover my kids ears. Then the young woman gave me a quote and here comes her co worker calling her outside which then she returned and gave me a different quote which is so unprofessional. If a worker is unsure above the price they should check before telling the customer. They have such a attitude problem at that location very poor customer service I will never recommend that location to anyone. That just bad for business.

Enterprise is crazy, there is employee violence in the work place. I rented from an airport location in CA. OMG - employees trying to run each other over?! wow, No manager to complain to, lead looked like he didn't know what was going on. I got a car seat for my child that smelled like chemicals had been spilled on it. BYE BYE Enterprise, Bad Service for expensive prices - Get it together. I have always rented from you but no more.

No car with reservation

I reserved a van over a week prior to my meeting. Upon going to the rental center, I was told there was no van available. They said they were "too busy" to call and notify me. I complained to Enterprise via email, and was told some VP was going to contact me to discuss this unacceptable customer service, but no one ever did follow-up. Even their complaint center is incompetent.

WI20 Grand Prairie Tx The Best Service

I have rented from Enterprise for at least 5 years now. I have met new managers and trainees and must say that I have been given the best customer service ever. Knowing the rules and paperwork in my own business, I have seen the staff provide options that best meet the customer at this branch. Sometimes while waiting, I listen to them talk to other customers. The staff make each one feel like they are the most important person at that moment. I give five stars to the team at Grand Prairie I20 office, thanks for making people smile-Jim Streicher Mgr., Chris Knode, Asst. Mgr...Phil Stevens, Darius Gregory, Avery Wilkerson..Eli and all associates....thank you!!

Guess enterprise doesn't need $2000 a month

Have rented for 1 1/2 years almost $2000 a month and because I pay late - with no notice they Lief manager in Meriden won't rent to me anymore with out me putting a whole bunch of money down I guess after 11/2 years they don't need it oh well Hi Avis!

they took my life

my truck was receintly totaled out by a enterprise rental car costing me not only my truck but since i just had a babygirl thats 36 days old and im newly married with a new job and a new house that i am now alone with no job and my wife had to move back to her parents cause i cant get to work becaue enterprise refuses to fix my truck they claim there not responceable for there cars why is it that everyone else in the world is responceable for there own property but enterprise rent a car is above the law my lawyer says they arnt lol stupid people iratate me how can it not be there fault my truck was parked there driver hit it whos fault would it be ?

Poor customer service

Enterprise prides itself for picking customers up. However they refused to pick me up a mile away from the nearest location. They told me it was beyond the border of their pick up zone. Technically it's 1000 yards beyond the border and an additional one minute of travel time. Don't ever go to the Arlington Heights location. They do not deliver great customer service.

Unprofessionalism

I have been an Enterprise customer for many years. I deal with the Lake Havasu City, AZ Branch. My past several visits I have witnessed the Manager treating her employees terrible, she barks orders at them is rude to them and she has no problem doing this in front of customers. She is very unprofessional and she should not be in a management position. I am not the only person who has a problem with this, several people within my company rent from Enterprise and it has been a topic in our lunch room. It is a matter of time before you lose business, I even witnessed her saying " I am the boss " and this type of person has no business in a management position. Just my thoughts thanks for your time
