My deposit
I had to get an an Enterprise rental car when my car was being repaired in Annapolis, MD. Everything as going through my insurance company so the rental was no charge to me but I did however have to put a $100 deposit down which was to be refunded to me when the car was returned Well, they have never credited my account. I called the location I was working with in Annapolis and they can' even find any information of this transaction every happening. The person I spoke with on the phone said she would investigate and get back to me. I have not heard a word. Unfortunately I didn't keep my receipt. Now I'm fighting for my money. I've been researching Enterprise since this happened and as a general rule, no one is satisfied with their service or the company in general. I would think twice before using them for your rental needs!
Overcharged and poor service
Poor Military Treatment
My niece attempted to rent a car at Enterprise in Hawaii the same as she has always rented with her Military ID she was told she needed her drivers license. She offered many suggestions was denied. The cab to her military hotel in Hawaii $100 the hotel functions require a car they offered for her to hang at the airport and then take the next flight back to Oahu...did say a copy of her orders or military credit card would be accepted she explained is a trip for her to take her neice on no orders and neither of those items prove she has a drivers license but that was their only acceptable solution a very expensive weekend trip ruined . she is not a kid she is a chief 29 years old in military 11 years mmmm no more Enterprise rentals in future in any country.
Bait and switch
I reserved a intermediate rental. When I went to pick it up I was given a compact car but was charged the intermediate rate, when I asked was the smaller car listed as "similar" I was told yes. I called the "complaint" department and received a complaint number. When I returned to the location I was told "the card are the same size and was asked what did I want them to do. " Bad service all around and I still have not heard back from the regional manager.
Quality
Rented a Chrysler convertible a couple of weeks ago in Fort Lauderdale and had to take it back because the trunk cover receiving area's two side flang's were broken AND ducktaped. Then, after going thru a lot of attitude I got another one and it only worked periodically. Shameful. I can understand something breaking but ducktaping and having an attitude about replacing, not good customer service in my view.
what a Joke
Never ever use the location in Niagara Falls , Canada Sent my wife and I to a repair shop as we had a flat tire . the people at the shop were great .But they could not get anyone to authorize the repairs as we needed a new tire and the Falls(Adam) location would not put us in another car . So we had to continue on driving with the spare .Can you say Joke .Never again
Not about service only the money
I recently rented from this car rental and had very little success with the management, the prices are not fair to begin with and on top of the negotiating with " discounts", I figured my chances for running for gov. Would be far better. In the complaining dept. the regional supervisor is just as regretful mote so, apologetic and the fact of the matter is they surely are liars and do not respect world class customers. I know Hertz us far more reliant and poses a better price and not so rude in their services.
Would Not Recommend This Company to ANYONE
We rented a cargo van last week. We picked it up at 8am and dropped it off the same day after hours. Well instead of charging us for 1 days they charged us for 2. We've been going around in circles with various people trying to get the money refunded to our account and day 7 it's still not there. Its absolutely RIDICULOUS that the error occurred and even MORE ridiculous that it's taken this long to resolve it (and it's STILL not resolved). Save the time and money and take your business elsewhere!
Omaha/Eppley
Had great service at Omaha Eppley airport from Brian who has been with Enterprise several years and I can see why.
NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER
I made reservations to pick up a car on Saturday the 15 of June .I had a friend drop me off there in the Ocala store and the people were every rude did not even pay any attention to me because i did not have 2 proofs of residents i had a tv bill a insurance bill and my drivers license and i got nothing they did not even try to please me at all i was not able to go to visit my husband on fathers day .It will never be forgotten that they did not make fathers day a very special one i might add i have lived in florida for 20 + years and was born here i will never go there again nor will i give them a reccomindation .
Cruel
I rented a car from Enterprise Rental and the car was taking due to the fact someone else was driving. But with them taking the car they are trying to claim the car was damage. Pictures was taking and it was 4 days before they contact me back concern the car. It could be that the car was rented again or else they trying to make me a bad guy and I have been rented from Enterprise for over 8 years. The store manager is rude and do not have good customer services. It is terrible how someone would try to put something on you and you have the proof to show..

I was broke down and I was going to rent a car from you but you need an electric bill??? I was broke down in austin tx and I live in bastrop tx I had no access to this information You wouldn't rent to me I have rented from u before you had my infor in your computer system I will never use you guys again!!!
Unfair treatment to employees
Well first off they told me they didn't need my services any longer for the so called reason of requires improvements. But each review they state some kind of required improvements. Thats fine but first it came that they told me that I would have to shave all facial hair which I have had every since I have been employed with them. and they allowed me to work ever since that time. And I told them that shaving all my facial hair was against my religion and then they come up with this. so be aware of them if you are looking for a job.
run, dont walk away from this company
was a regular because of the weekend deals, had a problem with a new employee whom hated picking me up all the time whom retaliated by writing me up for a creak in the door. i called bullsh*t then corporate whom also yelled at me in some Urban slang. blessing in disguise as we found out HERTZ actually blows them away on quality and service.yay!
Best in The West
After Budget closed down their only office in 2011 in Palmdale, California, I started renting cars from Enterprise's West Palmdale Boulevard office. I couldn't be more satisfied with the change. The service is excellent, and the employees are always upbeat, and positive, and that attitude is contagious. Renting cars from this office has always been a nice start to the several road trips we take every year. They'll pick you up, and drop you off. It doesn't matter who you're dealing with on the day you're there, the attitude and service is always the same, first rate. So hats off to Shaun, Brian, Jose, Charles, and all those who have come and gone on to better things. JK

Just to express my thanks to area manager Jeff Kleist (New Orleans) he helped make my rental experience one of the best by any company period. He personally arranged for a rental correction for me in Nov 2012. He went the extra steps to make me a lifetime Enterprise customer. Thanks again.
Lied to forCommission
I have insurance that covers rental cars, I signed up on line without extra insurance but was told that insurance didn't cove agents time, time car off line and any amounts that insurance covers they automatically take 500 dollars on too of my insurance and lied much more to scare me into signing for the added insurance for 19.99/day and tire coverage 3.79/day from your New Port Richey location from their black heavy set employee my insurance told me I was lied to because my insurance covers everything which I told employee. His lies will prevent merriment ever renting from enterprise again. I wht reimbursement for this misrepresentation for com.issuing. I was scammed!!!!!
fuel scam
Whenever I or someone else rents a vehicle we are offered the opportunity to prepay for the fuel that is already in the tank at a reduced price. For example if the current price of fuel is at $3.99 per gallon, Enterprise will offer you prepaid fuel at $3.25 per gallon. and if you wish, you can return it on empty. But what most folks don't realize is that they are charging you for fuel that the previous renter has already paid for and put into the tank. Usually the odds of previous renter returning vehicle with empty tank is very low and whatever fuel is in that tank is again sold to the next renter. Just think of the millions of gallons of fuel that is consumed each and every day and the millions of dollars that are pure profit. What a scam!!!!
Five star rating
I have used your car rental agency in Montclair, NJ and I think that it is by far the best agency that I have ever dealt with. Everyone there is cordial and considerate and I have used them at least a dozen times within the last few months to a year. Matt the manager at the location is loquacious and amenable every time I enter the establishment. Keep up the good work and keep employees and sites like this one
we purchased a car from Enterprise. The saleswoman said she was on salary, not commission and represented our bank. We were led to believe she forwarded loan papers to our bank. She quoted us an interest rate and payment,,,,signed multiple papers including contract to purchase...said our credit rating was good and took our trade it and issued license applied for. Two months later she sent text to phone...We hadn't applied for loan. Our bank didn't know anything, hadn't been faxed anything.. and when I called Enterprise they said we could bring the car back and pay $200,00 and milage. In other words, too bad. They didn't care what their salesperson had done. NO ONE should deal with Enterprise if that's how they conduct their business.
