Enterprise rental is a joke... They over charged my bank account and charged me two deposits because I renewed it for a day... I was rear ended in it...Now they will not refund my $200 plus what they over charged until the other insurance company straightens them out... My wife is currently suffering neck and back injuries from tha accident... Guess she is going to have to call Morris Bart... Poor... Poor... Poor customers service ... Once again.... The GULFPORT MS LOCATION IS A JOKE....VERY DISAPPOINTED....WILL DEFINITELY BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYER!!!
I tried enterprise car rental in East Dundee IL on Christmas eve 12/24/2011 for a car rental which I reserved a few days prior when I get there I had some bad luck of my own I had the wrong card, I explained aboutr the mix up and they took me back home. My wife calls and explains to me she is on route to them to get the rental so I call back and the person I just dealt with said I'm only waiting on one more person and then I'm gone so she better get here in the next two to three minutes and they close at three o' clock she made it with fifteen minute to spare. I get a phone call from my wife and she's very upset with this guy who's being "very" rude to her and my mother in law from what they got out of his little hissy fit cause he wanted to leave earlier I guess but the other person he was waiting for hadn't even shown up yet and when my wife and mother in law explained what happened earlier with the mix up and that she was comming to get the car he only said "oh it's no longer here I rented it out and I also told the employee that my wife was comming to get it.I go back today for a rental to take my wife somewhere for our anniversary once again got a run around this time my wife was with me and one guy was rude one guy ws nice but my wife said enterprise sucks and they BOTH gave me attitudes. SO I will no longer use enterprise when I need a rental car for and I will be telling everyone I know about my experiance with Enterprise and how terrible customer service is. If this is how they train employees at the East Dundee location I fell sorry for them. Oh by the way I want to say thanks for making my wife upset once again and ruining our anniversary due to your empolyees I had to cancell reservations I made a month ago. I will NEVER use your company again.

Ordered a FULL size car online a week before pickup. THree days before pickup changed the time only from 10am to 1pm. When we went to pick up the car they only had a Ford Fusion available and the girl tried to tell me it was considered Full size. Enterprise ad says the Ford Fusion is a Standard. She did offer to take $20.00 off the price but I ordered a Full size for a reason. She said we could wait for one to come in but had NO idea when that would be. Could be 30 minutes or 4 hours. Are you kidding me? All that she offered was I'm sorry, that's it. My husband said then maybe they should give us the next size up at the same price and after a few minutes they did. WHY, WHY, WHY, did they not offer that immediately. Why did it take us a half hour to get that car? WHY was one not available? When I changed time I asked to make sure and someone named Alex assured me I would have the Full size. This is not the first time we have had problems with Enterprise, but it will be the last as we will not deal with them again.
I, too, will never use this company again. On 11/18/11 we arrived in Orlando and our reservation was missing. The gracious young woman at the counter (she gets the star) matched the price we had been guaranteed when making the reservation on the rental agreement. We also had a minor accident during our rental time and called the credit card company to see if we were insured by them. WE were not. Upon returning the car we asked Enterprise to give us an estimate for the repair so that we could make the decision as to pay the damage ourselves or put it thru insurance. (WE were told by a testy young man that should we try to SCREW over Enterprise, they'd go after us ). Then, Enterprise charged our credit card three times the agreed upon amount. We have been doing phone battle since trying to solve the issue. Enterprise's response was our agreement was an estimate! No where in our paperwork did it say that. THEN we receive an extremely creative bill for over $2,000 for the damages in the accident, it We have called many times questioning what we think is a deceptive bill but no one returns our calls. TODAY we received notice that ENTERPRISE was sending us to collection without answering our questions and have spent the last three hours on the phone with Enterprise ending with the final threat of collection and another pompous, arrogant refusal to answer us.
Didn't mean to previously give 5 stars for no LIVE chat on WEEKENDS...but would also like to say the Corporate office is not only closed on weekends but VOICEMAIL IS FULL!!!! Are you kidding me...can't even leave a message? GREAT way to run a business...INTO THE GROUND! Thank Goodness your car rental agents in Short Pump, VA are impressive or you would be a total write off!
About a month ago. My boyfriend and I had to put our truck in the body shop for repairs. We dealt with a young man by the name of Anthony S. at the Brooklyn, Maryland location. Young Anthony went above and beyond to help us (it was my first time renting a car) and making us happy with a kind smile and great sense of humor. I wanted to say thank you so much Anthony S. for your great customers skills!!!
My name is Sharif and my wife recently had to drop off her car to JMK body shop in Springfield, NJ and so she called the enterprise in the same lot for a premium car (since the other parties insurance Geico covered a premium car because we drive a 2012 Nissan Maxima)And was given a reservation number from enterprise valid at any enterprise and when she got there they told her they don't have any premium cars and that she can either take a two door dodge challenger or a dirty Altima someone just dropped off or just sit in the office till someone decides to drop off a premium car. The representatives name Stephanie did not bother to call any surrounding enterprises to see if they had any premium cars and was completely rude for suggesting my wife to miss work to wait for a premium car. My wife took it nonetheless and mater on we called the 1800 number for enterprise. Once we got on the phone they transferred us to the enterprise in Newark Liberty Airport. We spoke to a man named Steve who said he would more than happy to give us a premium car because and I quote "we have plenty of them in our parking lot". We took our 10 month year old son drove a the way from our home in Clifton NJ at 10 pm at night and once we got there we were rudely introduced to an assistant manager by the name of Ivan. Ivan refused to change our car because and I quote "I have 300 reservations for my customers and you are not my customer. We have great quality cars here that range from a minimum of 10,000 miles to a maximum of 15,000 miles and I cannot give you one of our premium cars" Not your customer?!!!! Excuse me?!! At the point i thought we must have made a mistake and walked into a different car rental company. But low and behold we were at Enterprise! Basically you are saying that We are not worthy of a car from here. As far as we were told Enterprise is a huge corporation and cars can be switched anywhere in the U.S and for one of your men (Steve) to tell us to come down for absolutely no reason is ABSURD! To which he replied "that is our policy" I have never seen more horrible customer service from Enterprise in my entire life. I WILL NEVER rent a car from your company again. I will make sure my family friends colleagues know about this and never rent a car from your company again. The people that work for your company are rude unprofessional misleading absurd and quite frankly not sales material. I will post hundreds of reviews all over the Internet to make sure and warn people of the unprofessionalism that surrounds your company. It's a shame because even Hertz and Avis have better customer service than your company!!!! NEVER AGAIN!
I rented a car thru Enterprise for over two weeks due to my automobile getting repairs so my auto insurance company deals with Enterprise so the day I drove off with their vehicle I declined the auto insurance coverage since my automobile insurance covers it HOWEVER Enterprise still charged my credit card $170.84 and the manager of the branch out of Van Nuys California named Matt never takes my calls and the last I spoke with him he mentioned he would have to check with Enterprise accounting department. I have had a payment authorazation dispute filed with my credit card company and they told me they have been waiting for over two weeks for Enterprise to get bakc with them and they never hear from them either. What BULLSHIT..........................
On the way to Seal Beach with my daughter we talked about getting her a car for the new business that we formed. I had her call Matt at Enterprise in Vista. I wanted to find out if there was a monthly rental and how much that was. I was told that for a compact car we were looking at $ 535.00 per month. That sounded good and we proceeded to complete the contract. We have our own insurance as with all of our rentals. I now have a bill for the rental car that is at $ 6,087.07. That is $ 64.07 per day or $ 2,000.00 per month. If you think about it we could have purchased a used car for $ 6,000.00 and still have it. I never would made the decision to rent a car for the next few months until the new business got on it’s feet for $ 2,000.00 per month. We rent everything from the Enterprise in Vista from big trucks to small cars. I believe that we spend around $ 20,000.00 per year on rental trucks and cars. That amount will increase this year as our business is growing. We seem to be way off on the amount due. I’m looking at $ 535.00 plus sales tax and other fees.. We should be around $ 2,000.00 for the total. If we can make that adjustment I can cut you a check right away.
In September 2011 My grandmother rented a car through the honda dealership I work with and we have a agreement with Enterprise through my Honda Dealership, It was asked of her to give a $25 deposit on a credit card, she felt uncomfortable doing that so the young lady who worked for enterprise came to me and asked if I could talk with my grandmother because she was getting angry and would give her card info, so I gave $25 out of my own pocket. Since the car has been returned with a full tank of gas, I have called enterpise on 4 different occasions and seemed to get the same result VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE they have told me the cash was returned in there computer system on the 20th which it WAS NOT. I have no reason to not be truthful about my money that is owed to me. I also stated to several people show me a document with my signature or my grandmothers that the money is returned to us they cannot all that is possible is a reciept to show that is has been returned which is unacceptable I never recieved it you can press any button in a computer to show something show me my signature or my grandmother that its a fact and going forward I recommend this company get better customer service in there store level corporate is working on it now I would hope they are able to resolve this minor matter. Word of mouth is very important not only do I work at a Dealership but we have a family business I work for and we employ over 100 people but this has really been time consuming for me to get my money back
The car was fine, But the return of my MONEY was pissa poor, It only took you 2min to freeze my account, But when I need my MONEY I can't get a dime out of my account, WHY? And don't give me that 24 to 48 hours BS, When I returned your you should have returned my MONEY.
I rented a vehicle from Enterprise in Burlington, NC. The rental experience was uneventful with this exception. Someone from this facility called me via personal phone call on Sunday Evening, asking me to take a survey of my car rental experience with them. I am appalled that Enterprise Corporate chooses to call me on Sunday evening to ask such a question. That's my day for rest and relaxation from the business world and I DO NOT APPRECIATE THIS PRACTICE! There are 6 other days of the week totaling 96 hours of opportunity to call customers. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED! I hope this makes it back to Coporate Headquarters.
Good day to you. I rented a car from Enterprise in Northridge CA. My insurance company coverate for a rental was at a set amount. Your representative suggested I rented a vehicle similar to what I had and suggested I request the out of pocket expense from the other party if they took responsibility for the collision. Two days later I returned the vehicle given to me because the out of pocket was $12.00 a day. I was given a small ECONOMY vehicle, KIA and three days after I rented it; an employee from Ent called me and asked me to return it and I would be given another car. I returned the vehicle on SAT 1/21/12 at 10:30 AM. We waited there for approx 45 min and finally we were given a Chev Impala; I drove the vehicle out of the lot at approximate 2:30 PM I drove it for an hour or so when the engine lost power; it would not go faster than 15 MPH; the engine light went on, 'service engine'; it made loud and the engine was shaking so I was forced to park it SAT and SUN. Sunday I drove by with my pick-up truck and Ent was closed. Today my husband returned the Impala, showed the employee of Enterprise the engine light was on. My husband Jose requested credit for SAT and SUN and was told they had to check with the insurance company. It is not up to the insurance company; management is the person who needs to make this decision. But since they can't do that I am going to you. Respectufully, the rental process has been a nightmare, now we have a fourth vehicle in less than a week. Therefore, I am kindly requesting the credit for SAT 1/21/12and SUN 1/22/12 since I was unable to utilize the vehicle due to engine problems. I see no reason to have to write to you when the decision can be made by amanagement. Please adivse me as soon as possible.
Enterprise (Dallas, Texas) off Polk Road. There service is unprofessional, I have been waiting for someone from that location to pick me up for over 2hours. No one called to let me know they were running late, I have called the location twice only to be told, we will be there in 15 minutes... Im extremely late for work! to make matters worse, the Enterprise off Polk is only 10 minutes from my home!!!! NOT a good start, I will recommend not using the pick up service, they DONOT value your time!!!!! it faster to pay a cab, no joke!!!
Enterprise Rental Car located on South Loop West in Houston Texas is Trash. *They are rude. Witnessed this first hand. *Consider the dissatisfied clients in the lobby a warning. *Always do an official inspection before and after your rental. *Read the fine print! Rude lady from Corporate called and informed me that the form I signed gives Enterprise up to three years to file damage claims without providing proof. It is your word against theirs if you don't have a document. *The location manager sarcastically stated that she remembers the chip in the windshield from two months ago. * Lesson learned! Don't drop rental without inspection even if they are busy.
This occured in late spring of 2011. I had been a customer of Enterprise for about 10 years and had rented MANY MANY vehicles from them. In fact my most recent rental was of a full size van for ONE MONTH!! Not many people rent a van for that long. A few months after this rental I came into the office to rent a minivan for a few days. There were new people there and I was told that my debit card was not good enough to rent a vehicle anymore. I asked them to look in their computer at my last rental and they saw that I had recently rented a van for a MONTH but still would not let me rent a vehicle. I then asked them to look back for the last 10 years at how many vehicles I had rented from them. They told me that they do not keep records like that, only recent history. How stupid is that? Anyway I gave up and called the regional manager. He told me that I would need a recent utility bill and a pay stubb or bank statement in order to rent a vehicle. I had him look up the van I rented recently for a whole month. He did so but that did not sway his decision. Can you believe that? A guy who rented a full size van for a month can certainly be trusted with a minivan for a few days! Right? Duhh? I told him to look back at my 10 year rental history with Enterprise. He told me that their computer system cannot support keeping records for past years. ha ha ha! What an idiot! A cheap 10 year old computer has enough storage capacity to do this! This guy belonged in the stone age with Fred Flintsone!! ha ha ha! What better way to know who to trust with a vehicle than to see an extensive 10 year rental history for that person? Right? This is what I call the Duhh? factor. Anyway he stuck to his guns about me needing a recent bill and a bank statement in order to rent a vehicle with my debit card. I never heard anything as absurd in all of my life? My rental history with them COUNTED FOR NOTHING!%2
Enterprise Rental Car 600 Corporate Park Dr St Louis, MO 63105 My name is Maggie Ortiz and recently we went to Puerto Rico before we left, we made arrangements for a car rental. My husband and I were told that everything was ready and that we needed to pick up our rental car at the Ponce Mercedita Airport by 12:00 the next day after landing in Puerto Rico. The next day, we went to the airport to pick up our car. There was just one person who told us that she was the only one there and that she did not know how to work the system and gave us directions to go to a local Enterprise rental about a couple of miles down the road. When we got there and explained the situation to the clerk, he took by husband back to the airport to finalize the rental paperwork because he did not have the hardware to do it at that location. I waited for an hour at that location until they came back. My husband has had asked the clerk if he was entitled to any deductions since we have been put through a lot a trouble which were not our fault. The guy said no. We got in the car and left(not too happy). On the road, we needed to honk the horn to warn another driver and that's when we noticed that the horn wasn't working properly. We had almost reached our destination and were afraid that we will be put through the same trouble to get us another vehicle. So, we decided to keep the car and be very careful. As you probably know, driving in Puerto Rico can be treacherous. When we returned the car, we pointed out the problem to the clerk who told us that the horn was supposed to sound like that. We told him that the horn wasn't loud enough to be heard by other drivers and that he should look into that. We really expected a better service as consumers of your product; we fell that our concerns were not taken seriously. We hope that in your next training session you instruct your employees on how valuable consumers are to keep the business alive and that consumers should be treated with the same friendly and helpful service without distinctions in location.
A reservation made one day for the following day. Upon arriving they said there were no vehicle available...I questioned how could I have a reservation and then they not honor it, they were unable to give a satisfactory answer. After calling the national number all of a sudden they decided they had one, but still wondering about how I could eliminate this from happening I questioned how could I ever know when I made a reservation if it really meant reservation they (employees and manager) became excessively rude and disrespectful. In fact the managers behaved in a threatening manner. It is still troubling to me. I did not get a rental from them and will never do so. I did not feel safe with the tone of the manager.
Rented a car for business at the Enterprise in Palm Coast Florida and TWICE had problems. The first time I was on business and happened to check my bank account before I took my client to lunch and it was much lower than anticipated. I was out of town and had to have my husband deposit money into my account, since I was entertaining clients. I contacted the bank and was told that Enterprise had charged triple the amount the rental was. This was due to a clerk making an error on what they billed. Lot of stress on my part to correct. When I returned the car the person at Enterprise called me to inform me that I did not fill up the tank and this normally would be charged..... I reminded them what occurred and at that point they said they would not bill, but normally they should. I guess they did not realize the impact that impacting someone's bank account created! ....Rented again the week of 2/15 and they rented me a car for business again. Again, needed to entertain clients and they would be driven in my rental to dinner and lunch, ect.... The car key remote did not work and needed to use the key to unlock the door on the car. No big deal, right? WRONG! Every time I unlocked the car the alarm went off until the key was put in the ignition. This was a 5 hour drive to the client and 5 hours back. Between client, hotel stay, meetings, gas and other items, you can guess how many times I had to get in the car...with the alarm going off. Let's make matters worse, when you turned on the air conditioner, it sounded like there was a swimming pool in the ac unit. Spoke with enterprise while out of town and they apologized. Returned the car after driving 5 hours back and my purse was in the passenger floor board. I picked up my purse and it was drenched sitting in a pool of standing water from the ac. I have one of the cloth purses, so you can imagine the contents were drenched. All my receipts from my trip were in my purse. Ruined. Now I need to go through my bank account to print out my purchases to return to my work for my cash to be returned. Contacted enterprise and was informed that they were sorry and that they had just gotten the car and when they rented it to me it was not even in the system yet. I explained about the water and there response was "sorry, what do you want me to do". Okay, for me that was pretty frustrating, because if they have to ask, then they are as clueless and functional as the car they rented to me.
