I was a customer of many years while living in Las Vegas. My branch office was located at 3745 Boulder Hwy. and I rented vehicles whenever my own car needed servicing. I moved to Texas seven years ago but always rented from this branch when I returned yearly. All was well until October 2011. Called and made a reservation to be picked up from Sam's Town at 10 a.m. the following morning. 10 a.m. came and went and no driver. Finally at 10:30, I called and was told the driver would be coming. Sure enough, at 11 a.m., the driver showed up to pick up a couple. I was forced to wait that extra hour with no explanation by anyone. Regardless, on April 16th, I again called for a reservation the following day at 11 a.m. and, again, 11 a.m. came and went with no driver. I called at 10:30 and the reservation clerk who listened to me and hung up on me. When I called back, she told me the driver would be coming. She was rude and certainly has no business dealing with your clients. Needless to say, NEVER AGAIN will I rent from your organization.

I reserved an economy class car at the minneapolis-st paul airport for 4/11-4/20. I called and confirmed my reservation 3 times and also explained that i have a direct express debit card(the card that social security uses) and was told all 3 times that the card would work. My plane landed at 8:30 pm and I headed directly to the enterprise counter. Once i got there, they swiped it and said it was declined. I had $250 more in my account than what the rental was for. After they said it was declined, they told me that they cant accept prepaid cards at that location, the SAME location I had previously called to make sure everything was set. I told them that i was over 800 miles away from home and 300 miles away from my destination. They told me that they were sorry and told me to take a greyhound. It is now 10:30 at night. There were NO buses coming into or leaving the airport leaving me stranded, which I was for 14 straight hours. When i told them i was stranded, the girls at the counter started laughing at me, i guess they thought its funny leaving someone stranded at an airport where they dont know any1. I ended up getting a round trip bus ticket for $150. I called the "corporate" number and was told that they would not reimburse me for anything and that it was my word against the reps that i had previously spoken with. I use the same exact debit card to rent from enterprise at the location where i live without any problems. Due to this, i will NEVER rent another car from enterprise and advise averyone else not to either

I have been a customer of Enterprise-Rent-A-Car for about 15-20 years. I never had any problems until recently. I had a death in the family in Columbus Ohio, and needed to get there through a stop in Cincinnati, Ohio. I decided to take a train to Cincinnati, then get a rental car and drive to Columbus. When my daughter called the Customer service number for Enterprise I was told that I could not get a rental at the airport in Cincinnati, Ohio because I was not flying into Cincinnati. Then my daughter asked if there was another place to pick up a rental Car and they said I would have to go to Lexington, Kentucky to get a rental car. Lexington Kentucky is about 45-50 miles from Cincinnati. How was I to get there? The Cincinnati airport has an Enterprise Car Rental, and there are about 10 locations in Cincinnati. I was arriving early in the morning on a Sunday. If they had told me that they were closed at that hour, and maybe I could get one at a later time, that would have been OK. But, they did not; they just gave me a run around, and did not want to give any customer service! I rented a car from Hertz, at a much higher rental fee than I would have at Enterprise. Enterprise is showing that they no longer care about customer service. With their customer service attitude the way it is now, I will hesitate to rent from them again. rbaerloche@aol.com

We rented a car from them as advised by insurance company while our vehicle was being repaired after being involved in an accident. When we returned the vehicle no one was in the office, when we called they advised us to leave keys in the drop box and that is what we did. When we left the car there was NO damage on it any where. Approximately 3 weeks later we received a phone call from our insurance company asking us about a claim on a rental car from Enterprise, we informed them that we knew nothing about a claim and told them that the car was fine when we dropped it off. My insurance company said they would investigate and decided not to pay the claim but Enterprise insisted that we should have to pay for the damage to the vehicle. At this point we told them to send us pics of the "damage". On the report they indicated the driver side rear bumper was damaged but the pics they sent were of the passenger side rear bumper. Before my insurance company investigated the bill they sent for the repairs was $532.22 but after the investigation they sent a new bill for $369.90, we refuse to pay anything since they can not produce any evidence that there was any damage. IF I COULD RATE THEM ANY LOWER I WOULD!!!!!!

Dont ever use Enterprise i rented a car for over 7 months and these greed hungry bums haunt you they want to be apart of your life thei was a small fender bender and they want you to pay for it instantly not even wait for insuranceco. to handle it,they constantly call, if your hour late on payment they call 10 times they have credit card and just take out whenever they feel like it no receipts....none they made me drive wrecked car for 3 months, the company office said they shouldnt have done that period horrible they lost my business and screwed theirselves out of future business. I rented a car and they beacame the FBI. Stay Away.

I do not normally deal with Enterprise. When I do, it is usually for business purposes (federal government has an Enterprise contract). The location at 827 S. Glendale Avenue, Glendale, CA 91205 provided on two occasions the worst customer service I have ever seen or experienced in a retail or business setting in my entire 34 years on earth. What didn't Ms. Jennifer Apea do? She lied, she was rude, she lied again, she began to talk negatively about us to her next customer, she prevented another agent from assisting us. I am a customer. In this economy, we are valuable and precious. If Enterprise believes it's customer service is acceptable, I respectfully disagree and whenever it is in my control I will NOT rent from them personally. I will NOT use the GSA RSVP contract. I will use any available avenue and resource to air my grievances. I was treated very poorly and I deserve to be treated (at a bare minimum) decently.

My problem is that Enterprise overcharged on our car rental...and hello? They seem to have no record of charging $601.09 to my credit card! All they seem to have is a payment history of cash, there seems to be nothing to show that the credit card was charged. Of course, all I hear is "corporate won't allow us to give you the records as it was rented in your son's name." True...so he's working in another state and will give written verification along with a copy of his ID for me to pick this up. NOPE..can't do that. Can't request it in writing either... Now, I can't rent a car from them because at the time because our address was the same at the time. And we can't get to the bottom of this because we can't get copies of anything. FISHY TO ME! And, no...we won't use Enterprise.

I was appalled at the experience I encountered with the Enterprise Rent-a-Car offices in Fife, WA, where I first picked up the rental car, and Federal Way office, WA, where I returned it. As a result of my own car being in an accident on February 1st, 2012; I was advised by my Farmers insurance agent to rent a car from Enterprise while my car was being repaired, which was expected to be ready in 30 days. Everything started off fine, but after that I found my experience working with Enterprise personnel to be unprofessional, callous, unsympathetic, inflexible, customer unfriendly, etc. I’m sure you get the picture and my feelings! Due to unexpected surprises in repairing my car, the collision company needed to keep it longer than the expected 30 days. Enterprise said I would have to pay the rental fees after 30 days and that they would debit my debit card which I gave them when I first got the rental car. I insisted that they should not, under any circumstances, debit my card. I felt it was the responsibility of the insurance companies to work it out and I, the customer, should not have to pay any out of pocket expenses. Enterprise’s response was “that’s our policy and we can’t change it.” (just what the customer does not want to hear). The conversations went back & forth between the insurance companies, Enterprise, the collision /repair company and myself. I was told by Enterprise that I would need to be billed the additional fees past the original 30 days and then be reimbursed by the insurance companies after subrogation between them. Again, I made it very clear to all parties especially Enterprise that I should NOT have pay anything and did not have the money (approximately $700.00) to cover it. Again Enterprise’s callous, unempatheic, uncaring response was, “that’s our policy”. I can understand Enterprise’s position, but the manner in which I was treated was extremely unnecessary, unprofessional, unfriendly and unempathetic to the customer. The Enterprise people I interfaced with obviously need a workshop/class on customer service. To make matters even worse is what occurred when I returned my rental car on March 13th to Enterprise, Federal Way. Enterprise’s (Federal Way location) inspected the car and said there was damage to the front right bumper with some scratches for which I was responsible. I disagreed. When I first rented the car(done at Fife location) there was a quick, 30 second walk around the car inspection. When I returned the car to the Federal Way location, they were very thorough in inspecting the vehicle, much more so when I first got it in Fife. I do not take any responsibility for the so-called damage. Enterprise then deducted $500 additional from my debit card, again after I insisted them NOT to do so. Even as of March 26th, 2012, Enterprise has not provided any paperwork regarding the so-called damage to the rental in spite of numerous requests. Enterprise made unauthorized deductions of over $1,200 from my debit card after numerous requests not to do so. Without enough money in my account to cover the $1,200 deducted by Enterprise, I have had other authorized deductions denied and overage charges accessed to my account by my bank. These inconveniences to me could have been avoided had Enterprise been more flexible in dealing with my situation. I have found the experience with Enterprise Rent-a- Carl Company to be deplorable, unacceptable, unprofessional and unethical. As a result of this experience, I will not do any business with Enterprise Rent-a-Car again and will do everything I can to share my experience with Enterprise with others. I am also suggesting to my insurance agent that they cease recommending Enterprise as a car rental company. I will also be filing a report/complaint to the Better Business Bureaus of Washington State and Missouri.

I called to rent a vehicle in Warren MI on Van Dyke and was told the information I need to bring in and reqested to be picked up at a certain time since I would have to leave work early because they close at six. I had to call them again because they was not there to pick me up on time and when we got there I only had five minutes to get the car. The gentleman at the desk said to me I need you I'd and form of payment and we will get you out of here. I believe his name is Michael. Then he asked for the other forms and I gave him the top bill that was Current and my insurance card he said to me so rudely where is the rest of the bill I need to see how you make your payments. I explained the gentlemen on the phone did not say I needed the full bill he said to me so rudely I can't do anything with this. I asked if the dryer could take me back to get another bill and he said no it will be after six when you get back and I have to keep my employees under hours. Now had they picked me up on time I would have been able to go home and make it back in time I only live five minutes away. Instead he said I will reschedule you for tomorrow at eleven. After being turned away so rudely I get in the vehicle and the driver asked me if they can pull my bill up in there office. I explained to her I don't feel comfortable pulling my information up in public. I called the office back while riding in the vehicle back with the driver and asked for the district manager and corporate number. I can tell that he Mike answere the phone he asked as if he did not want to give me there number told me there headquarters is in Farmington MI. I asked him for the corporate number he gave me the number for a Paul C. And the man never called back. I went online and came across there corporate number which the voicemail was full so I could not leave a message. I am surprised that a company like have employees that offer bad customer and care about getting off work before they take care of the customer. I don't think they should ask for anyones information and will be taking this to the News, blogs facebook, and Twitter about the bad service they offer.

I rented a car from you last month in Eau Claire Wiscosin and was told that I would have my deposit returned to me after the car was retured in which the full coverage insurance I took out on the vehicle would be taken out of the deposit. Too my surprise I was called a week later and told that I owe YOU 77 dollars and I wouldnt get a deposit back!!! It was the same woman that I rented the car from and I believe her name was Jesse who by the way is VERY RUDE and told me I was a liar and refused to give me the coorporate number or even tell me her managers name. You have a horrile employee in this city and she lies to the customers and I will NEVER rent a vehicle from your company again and I will make sure that everyone I know that is looking to rent a vehicle WILL NOT rent from you guys as long as you have people like that working for you. Sincerly, VERY IRATE CUSTOMER Deanna Barrows

I was rear ended by another vehicle and my car was in the shop. I was told my Nationwide Insurance, the other person's insurance that they use Enterprise to rent vehicles, so they set me up in a rental for four days at Enterprise and told me they paid enough for me to get an SUV comparable to mine. Upon arriving at Enterprise Rent a Car in San Antonio, Texas on Wurzbach and Bandera, I found three SUV's, a Dodge Durange, GMC Terrain, and a Dodge Journey. I asked for the GMC Terrain, they said "oh no, we promised that to someone else, sorry, it's complicated". I then asked for the Dodge Durango, again, I was told it was promised to someone else. I asked, then what was reserved for me? They said well we can give you the Dodge Journey. I said I guess that's okay, but call me when you get the Terrain in so I can swap it out. The Journey was too small and low unlike my vehicle. They said okay. Upon inspecting the vehicle, it had bald tires and Florida license plates and I'm in Texas. I informed Vanessa about the tires and she blew it off by saying they turn in vehicles when they hit 32,000 miles and started telling me about how they sell vehicles as well if I may be interested. I had to leave to go to work, so I signed and left. Upon driving on the freeway, I noticed the car's steering wheel vibrating upon applying the brakes. It felt very uncomfortable driving, but since I was going to be driving from work to home only for a few days, it was okay and I was hoping that they would all about the Terrain coming available. I called Tuesday, no Terrain, Wednesday, no Terrain and no other vehicle either by the way. By Thursday, I NEEDED another vehicle, I was traveling out of town for the weekend and was NOT comfortable in this vehicle for long driving. I contacted Enterprise on Wurzbach and Bandera and spoke to them and I was told they had not SUV for me. They told me to take the car to Firestone and they can replace the tires and fix it up. I said, I don't have time to do that, besides, that is your responsibility, not mine. I asked for another card since I was traveling out of town and was not comfortable in this current vehicle. They said they would look and call me later. I ended up call around and found an Enterprise on 281 and Evans Road in San Antonio, TX and was told by Valerie that the had an SUV for me but could not promise it since I couldn't get there until noon and this was at 9:30am. I said I understand I will call you at noon to see if you still have it. I called Valerie at noon and she said yes, they still had the SUV, I asked for directions and she was about 20-25 miles away from my location but I was willing to drive there for a different vehicle since the other Enterprise did not call me back and I had no idea if they would. Upon driving to see Valerie, Enterprise on Bandera Road and Wurzbach called me back to let me know they had a minivan for me. I said no I found an SUV comparable to mine at this other Enterprise on Evans and 281, he said oh okay. I called Valerie again once in their parking lot to see exactly where they were. She told me. Upon arriving inside their store, Valerie informed me that her manager, Mr. Cooper would not let her rent out the SUV because it was promised to someone else. I was livid. Why did you make me drive half way across town to tell me this when I spoke with you three times since then? The manager then arrived and he was very rude, cocky and stated well your tires aren't bad and the car probably just needs an alignment. And asked me to drive to another Enterprise where they have more cars (Airport). I have had a terrible experience with Enterprise and will NEVER rent from them again. Rude, cocky people work there, some of us actually have more important jobs and do not have the time to drive your cars around to have repairs done on them for YOU!! Get over yourselves!!

I rented a car for two days and on the second day I returned the car but they do not have a drop box to leave the key. I called them from work the next morning because I had the key and didn't want to be charged for another day I was told they would not charge me and just drop off the key. When my wife dropped off the key the charged me for a extra day. Not good!

I"ve never had a problem renting a vehicle from Enterprise. Have rented from the Herndon, Virginia Centerville location on several occasions and everyone was professional and polite. Hassle free. Same goes from my experience recently at the Pueblo, Colorado location. I was even given an upgrade when I didn't ask for one. The employees took pride in their customer relations and, once again, absolutely no hassle. Vehicles ran great and got excellant gas mileage.

I give a high rating to the guys at the Kirkwood, MO Enterprise rental location. We had been rear-ended the night before and the other driver's insurance guaranteed us a rental car and told us we could get it from the Fenton, MO location. The clerk at Enterprise in Fenton told us that he didn't have time for us and didn't have any cars. We called first, then drove over to the Kirkwood store and they were more than eager to help. They shared with us that the Fenton store had 8 cars available per their computer system. Hmmmm... We had the rental by 11am which was crucial for the weekend as the rental stores close at noon on Saturday. Thanks again, Kirkwood.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for all employees located at the Palmdale Enterprise located at Auto Vista Drive. Though there have been some changes in staff, I am still very happy with every employee at this location. I have never met a better team of people. Their attitude, customer service, and the smiles on their face when I walk through the door makes me come back over and over again. I appreciate also that they know me by name. I had three small problems in the past at this location; however, after trying another rental place, I went back to my regular spot on Auto Vista Drive. Customer service at this location is awesome.

On March 4th, 2012, 4:30PM EST, I called the Customer Service for some information. I was calling in regards to if a car can be dropped off at a different location other than the location the car was rented from. I didn't write down the woman's name but she was simply outright pleasant, informative and considerate during our approx 10 minute conversation. She gave me the phone number of the city I was thinking of renting it from and the 800 toll free number for reservations. She also pointed out that it was up to the individual "Regions" where drop off's may be allowed and the charge would be up to them at the time of rental. She also told me that if a situation cannot be resolved between you and the local office, you MUST call their corporate offices immediately and they will investigate. A previous call that I made about an hour earlier and talked to "Joe" I had to end the call as I had another call to take care of. Joe for the few minutes I spoke with gets a compliment as well. So for those that have made negative remarks about Enterprise, here's a compliment to this person for being so polite!

Enterprise, you take the time( when it's convenient for you) to pick people up to spend money on your service. Why is it when we have the vehicle and may need some assistance that you don't care to assist. I locked the keys in the car when I turned it on to warm it up. You could at least have a spare key for situations like this instead of telling us to call a locksmith. Maybe a note in cars such as this would also prevent things like this from happening. We spend money on your service, it wouldn't hurt to act like you car after we have the service.

I rented a vehicle for a week the 1st car the brake lights were out so, I went on my luch break to see if they could replace the light bulb and they told ME to take it to Firestone and they'll replace it and charge them for it. So I went to Firestone on "MY BREAK IN THEIR CAR" to get lights replaced!! When I got to Firestone they couldn't replace them they were too busy! So, I wasted my time drove back to Enterprise to make them aware that Firestone would'nt replace so,they replaced my vehicle with one that had just came in like it. It stunk and the brakes were grinding to the ground so, I called back a day later to let them know the brakes were grinding to the ground. They had the nerves to offer me 10% off of a $300 rent WOW! I believe I should have gotten a whole week of stressfree rent that was worth my $300 I paid!! I'm a very unpleased customer
