I sent my buyer his stuff. Received the package back at my house marked refused. I refunded his money. He left negitive feedback. I followed ebay guidelines. He did not. Called customer service they said he was right I was wrong. Very dissatisfied. I guess I can randomly leave totally false feedback and ebay will back me up.

Addressed to Jolene. Jolene, the fact that you are a Power Seller, have 100% feedback, or even a Top Rated Seller, which I was all of the above before one rogue Buyer, who I made a sale to outside of Ebay and accepted payment through PayPal, and who managed to ruin my 13 year career selling on Ebay with a patently fraudulent dispute, means nothing to them. Those things, e.g. Power Seller, Top Rated Seller, etc. are a bunch of psychological marketing rubbish to give you a warm and fuzzy feeling. I can get that warm feeling by pissing the bed, but after a while it gets cold!

I have had a serious problem with Ebay for a month and it is still not fixed. I am unable to print postage from the Ebay site. I have to use the Paypal site to print my labels. I have called 22 times (not an exageration) to customer support and my problem is still not fixed. All of the off Shore reps are polite and professional. They are well trained but if it is not on their scripts, they cannot fix. They have opened a case with the technical group, where ever they are, and still not fixed. It costs me money each time I print a label with paypal. The insurance is higher and they do not have all of the options that are on the Ebay site. for example, you cannot mail first class international on paypal but you can on Ebay. It is not my browser, my computer, my printer, or anything else I am doing. It is a glitch in the Ebay system. I know this because other sellers, using my computer, sign in and print labels. They go to their computers and cannot print from ebay. HELP, HELP, HELP.....

Been buying and selling on E-bay almost ten years never had a problem. I have a 100 % feedback rating. I had a buyer that was not going to be pleased even after I sent additional items at no cost. He filed a dispute and within 24 hours E-bay made a decision for him, I was under the impression that all sales are final, not so. E-bay refunded him the money , he sent my merchandise back damaged. Sent E-mail to let them know, never heard a word back. After talking to two representatives I decided to pay E-bay the money even though not only has a buyer blackened my reputation but E-bay has as well. I sent a payment by credit card to E-bay, the money is there but evidently there is a link for disputes. So evidently its to difficult to move the money where it is to where they say it needs to be. I was told by the last e-bay rep that everything was ok, a week later I,m getting threatening E-mails from E-bay daily. The second representative I spoke to was disrespectful and rude. So E-bay is going to return the funds I sent to them to my card so I can resend to the proper link, does that make any sense? I was told yesterday not to worry that I had thirty days to resolve this, and today I received an E-mail that they are suspending my account. When the one rep was rude to me, she said that it was my fault the money was not credited to my account, I explained to her its not my fault that E-bay site is designed to have little or no communication with live people, and that it was not designed in a user friendly fashion. I went to look for a corporate office that I could explain get someone that could help me with basic problem solving skills. There is none, you have to deal with the E-bay site itself, thats the way its designed. The tragedy is that I wanted to resolve the original issue and maintain my relationship with E-bay. And they have made it virtually impossible. I spoke to a representative named Aimee yesterday, she was very helpful, she said it was unusual to have received these notices so soon, that I would still have a month, and I received a E-mail that my privileges have been suspended today. This tells me there is a wide gap from what the representatives know and what the automated function of the computer is doing, there is no way to resolve an issue or at least be listened too. E-bay has has become rich because of people like you and I, and we deserve better. I have been faithful to them, I have a 100 % rating and now I have been discarded like a piece of trash, how can that be good business? I never saw this coming, and when this happens to you realize this, you will be pushed through their process quickly. Forgive for saying this but its like being raped. It looks like I will be thrown off E-bay even though I have tried to resolve the problems with E-mails phone calls , and now it seems pointless. If It were my business I would do what I could to save any customer that had a legitimate complaint, sometimes a little listening can go a long way. As far as the 36.00$ they say I owe them, good luck You can chalk it up in a loss column, you have made the last money off me your going to see, you will be losing future revenue and I will let people know the real truth about how you conduct your business, dishonestly, shamefully. Ebay sellers have no rights! Sold Item to a buyer who is out of country, auction clearly states US ONLY. Contacted Ebay, they said the out-of country buyer has to agree to cancel the transaction, So the buyer has all the rights and the seller has none. By the way I have been a long time buyer/seller with Ebay, 741 transactions with 100% feedback, the buyer in this case has 1 feedback. How's that for being unfair. Will do all I can to avoid Ebay in the future.

I urge you all to go to www.peoplesclaim.com and open a claim against EBAY. They are a rip off. Here's the latest email I received from them. "Hi Anthony, After evaluating your seller account, we're changing your seller standing to Below Standard in the US performance program. This account will remain Below Standard for a minimum of 1 month, after which it will be evaluated on the 20th of every month until your performance improves". FYI: I have asked EBAY to cancel my account and they refuse to do so. They refuse to do so b/c I supposedly have an outstanding invoice, which I dispute. Here's some things I've noticed: 1. Know, this, EBAY's 1st priority is the buyer! 2. I almost lost a breadmaker because the buyer whined and EBAY refunded her money. Happen so, I had already shipped the breadmaker. Luckily, I was able to do a mail intercept to have my breadmaker returned to me. 3. Almost the same thing happened with a car organizer tray. EBAY refunded the buyer, after I told them I had already shipped and added the tracking #. The buyer has his car organizer tray, I have my money, and EBAY is still trying to get me to pay them back for refunding the buyer. 4. Ebay lacks consistency. In the above instances, I had representatives telling me that since I entered the tracking #, EBAY should not have refunded the money and that they would get it resolved. Flat out lie! They transferred me back to Buyer Resolution and things stayed the same. 5. BEWARE! EBAY at times will have Paypal bundle your money and cause you to transfer funds to your bank as a bundle instead of individually. This makes it extremely hard for you the seller to keep track of who bought what and what funds were release and withdrawn. Some payments you can transfer individually others they make you transfer in bulk. Paypal nor EBAY has a way of determining what all individual payments were encompassed in the bulk transfer. Meanwhile you may have seller emailing you and EBAY refuses to sort out the mess. 6. There are few companies that justifiably should restrict their numbers to the public. IRS, FEDS, etc. All others have no need. BEWARE of a company that you cannot call on the telephone. REDFLAG. EBAY's probably pissed so many people off that giving out their telephone # has become a security issue and restricting their telephone #s has become a necessity. 7. PIMPING OUT SELLERS. EBAY has resorted to pimping out certain sellers and using them as its whores. It is highly unlikely that you would get an EBAY staffers on the phone. BEWARE: when it comes to the point that you're good enough to have your money taken but not worthy enough to be on the line with an EBAY employee.

E-bay does not sell anything. The SELLER does. Yet they keep changing the rules to favor the buyer. A large number of buyer are crooks. They send back a broken item they had and not the one they were sent. Now we are losing any break we got because I can not mail items the next day as the only day we can go to the post office is Sat. These are the folks who want MITT to win so they can take away all the rights other Vets died for. Shame on you E-BAY. Will be selling on Amazon soon.

What happened to the Ebay I was familiar with. It has tumbled into some deep abyss. There is no way to have a consistent password and the points system for bidding is laughable. I do not use Ebay anymore because it was been encripted in some strnge language. Forget contacting by phone. How many of you know the extension of the ebay staff? Doing business in this was will doom the E-bay Corporation. Good ridence.

So my mom was buying from e-bay using paypal. She ordered something, it was shipped, paypal released the funds, and then she receives an email saying her account has been suspended indefinitely. No other information. I had to use my account to get her the customer service number. The representative located in Asia, repeatedly re-read the same email she received. She kept asking what she did wrong, and they absolutely refused to tell her. Just kept repeating the email like some brainless robot. When I called on her behalf, the Asian rep (who I repeatedly had to ask to stop yelling) said e-bay has the right to refuse business to anyone they want for any reason. So I said, well then how do I know they are not discriminating based on race or gender? The guy then continued to yell and REFUSED to let me speak to his supervisor. I plan to complain to anyone that will listen. This is not a consumer friendly business. How can they prove they aren't being discriminatory? Don't we have the right to know why they suspended the account if it was legit?

I have been through hell and back with a buyer from Crotia who sends me death threats in arabic. This is a weekly email and ebay has all the emails because they can read them. I called weekly because once a week I receive another death threat and ebay just tells me he will get a warning and nothing is done. They do not care. He has 13 sales and I have 3,000 sales...and 100 % feedback and I am a power seller. The safety harbor is a joke...ebay is a joke!

Stay away from EBay! Avoid selling &shipping expensive items to Countries where they will rob you blind electronically ! Avoid Ukraine, Russia & Germany! Buyers from those countries will buy your brand new iPhones ,laptops etc & once they receive them they will file a chargeback claiming item not received . Then when you point out to them tracking shows differently . They will then say they received items,but it's not a described or it's missing etc. When you point out to them that you record your items before shipping by taking pictures of each item/s & record serial numbers. Before you ship . They will then go to their credit card company & say they receive empty box or items they received was different tha. What they ordered ! Avoid avoid avoid avoid ! eBay does nothing to protect sellers. International buyers walk away with FREE iPhones & iMacs! Lying thriving buyer ordered 4 iPhones. Pictures of phone was taken as well as recorded all IMEI& serial number before shipping & eBay DID NOT care to look over my evidence . It will be over my dead bleeping body before that buyer walks away with free iPhones. I've already contact some people to do documentary on how eBay works in favors of buyers. It is a pattern I've notice! International buyers always somewhere never receive their apple products while domestic buyers NEVER pulls that stunt! I have worked hard my life . I'm sick & tired of cooperate America liars,cheaters& thieves always get ahead while the honest guys get stumped all over on. After getting notice from eBay that they decided in the buyer favor my blood was boiling they didn't care about my evidence that was provided! I went & Google buyers fraud on eBay & couldn't believe the stuff I was reading that it is VERY COMMON thing with those international It is wrong ,it is un fair ,it is dis honest!

what a disaster...ebay called me a crook and a liar and i just got started..i only made 1 sale and they tried 2 extort me called me a liar..myself or anyone in my family will ever use ebay

Ebay is the worst site now, ebay now in June will allow partial refunds to buyers that are not fully happy with the product they buy. This is called "item blackmail" now allowed by ebay when it wasn't allowed before. If the buyer isn't happy with the item, ebay allows them to renege on the original price the buyers agrees to pay when the listing was active and binding. This should be against the law and I hope the FBI looks into this sort of business practice for this is a violation of fair market trade and eCommerce.

Ok I had a store on ebay when I first started to sell not know calculated shipping had gone away then, on top of it , people complained about everything, so I ended up with neg. feedback if something breaks oh they say item not described. when you list over 1000 auctions that is a ton of time, but ebay limited my account do to people wanting something for nothing it is a buyers world, this became my full time job and yep they closed my account well they say to buy on it but I am banned for good really, wow. buyers are awful at times several are wonderful but they don't take it serious when you have someone that buys items then says they are not happy then buys another of the same item then you see ebay gives them there money back and they have them listed. on there site how crazy is this. So yes they took all my auctions down and Yes say I can't sell on ebay anymore. So the question is where is everyone going to SELL ITEMS ON WHICH SITE as ebay has become a attraction for a buyers world and also companies to sell there returned items or damaged slightly damaged items on ebay. Also when calling in there trust and safety team gives you know results now my husband and I are on the lines of going to district court do to the fact that there was really no warning and they said they might take 25 % of our listings off, we were rated at 99.2% feedback with 4 neg. and 3 neutrals it was the seller dash 5 star rating my rating was better then walmarts. Ebay used to be fun and great to sell. I have done google searches and yes there are ways around and getting back on ebay. It is a long process but is it really worth it , I feel over time, ebay will fold. Give it 10 years. also I feel civil suites class act suites will start to fly, as this is putting peoples income on the line with very little warning .

These folks at Ebay take and restrict you of selling in certain catagories or suspend your account for uncontrolable reports, people can make by "reporting items". When I asked them if I could provide proof of authenticity of a watch I was selling , they laughed at it and basically said "NO" we got you flagged already, and nothing you say or do will fix your seller account. We don't care...that you are a "Top Rated" or "Silver Powerseller" and have gone the extra mile to prove your superb customer service. Hey folks reading this...My point is Ebay should be the last place people do business with, because frankly, they DON'T CARE! about you or your relatives or your neighbors and customer service is not in their vocabulary. They are filled with greed, and corporate shareholders set the bar on the operation of the company and because they have no real competition from other auction sites they are growing and getting away with it. Congress are you out there? hearings? Good luck to the American trying to make an honest living...

Wish there was something similar that we could use - CANT WAIT!!! I agree - ebay's new policy keeps OUR MONEY in their account longer and they make interest on it. I have sold over 60K worth of stuff - youd think I was a VIP client but instead they held my money and didn't even release the SHIPPING cost so I couldn't use PAYPAL's shipping service...that causes more delay, more cost, and more frustration. Ebay, doesn't care about the sellers rights....I recently sold a nice pair of expensive shoes for a fraction of the cost...I described european size put conversion chart up and showed it in US size...BUYER LOVED THEM AND BOUGHT THEM....sad part buyer didn't know how to use a shoe conversion chart...so she put in a complaint to ebay stating shoes were wrong size as described....I spoke to ebay explained look at pics and description and size that's on the shoe...They did, They said it was the right size and buyer was wrong...But if I didn't want to deal with buyer just refund money and she'll give back shoes...WE'LL, 30 days later case is still open from buyer, called ebay they said in 24 hrs they will release money to me and I do not have to refund buyer, since I proved I was right and ebay policy states i'ts on her....so I wait 24 hrs, no release of money, I called ebay the resolution center said, that even though I am right and I received the message of funds will be released in 24 hrs, that was not going to happen, they generate that letter to people because ebay states that will comfort the customer...SO, ACTUALLY EBAY LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING...they told me wait another 15 days and see if customer will return shoes...so now it's going to be 45 days customer has shoes. All ebay does is lie, 90% percent of there call centers are answered by people who don't even speak english....They are told to do to lead the customer on and lie to them at any cost if they have too....I USED TO LOVE TO USE EBAY...I WILL TELL ANYONE THAT LISTENS DO NOT USE EBAY....I WILL ALSO, SEND ALL MY PROOF TO THE NEWS SO THEY CAN DO A REPORT ON EBAY....THEY NEED TO GO ON SHAME ON YOU....
