I am in total agreement with R Andrews (Sellers are not protected) 6/26/10. We too got the "It's not in our guidelines" speech when clearly IT WAS!!! I Called eBay and was transferred to a supervisor named JOB (lady) employee # 1486 i was placed on hold and then some random guy picks up and asks me who I was, and what i want, I said I was waiting for a supervisor, he said again "what do you want" then Job took the phone and introduced herself. I asked her what the name of that employee was she advised that he wasn't an employee WHAT??!?!?!?! a non employee is allowed to see my personal and financial information?!! What is up with that EBAY?? when I asked why he was answering the phone she advised that my feedback was the issue at hand and that I already know the answer. I run a serious business and really spoke well of EBAY to my associates, but now i will be closing my account and open up my own website...thanks for the help EBAY!

I am writing to you because I feel I have no other options. I have tried to resolve my issue through the proper channels and have not received resolution. This has gone on for almost THREE months now, so I feel that I have exhausted all other options and I feel this is extremely inappropriate. My topic relates to an account suspension. My account was blocked because I did not have an active back up payment method in place (was not aware that I needed one with a paypal and auto withdrawl in place) and I was unable to log into ebay for approx. 2 months due to being hospitalized etc. During this timeframe a fellow ebayer that had purchased an item for me filed a complaint that his item was not received (was it lost in the mail etc? unknown and not the issue). Ebay returned the $14.99 to the buyer since I didnt respond to the complaint. This left me owing ebay the total. Once I was able to log back into ebay my account had been blocked due to owing ebay this $14.99 payment. I took appropriate action right away and did what was suggested on the login page to do. I updated a back up payment method and received a message that this was confirmed, the account would be billed and my ebay account reinstated. This was THREE months ago, I have since updated the payment method at least 20 times in an attempt to resolve. I have spoke with at least ten representatives, two specialists on the phone, and emailed collections and others multiple times. Still no resolution, my account remains blocked. I decided there must be an error in the system so I was going to create a new account to sell/buy from. I did this and one week later received an email that I could not sell anything due to my possible connection to the old account. During this time frame of my account being inaccessable to me ebay has continued to withdrawl my monthly

I am a short-lived Ebay customer! Bid/won four times in the recent week, with no problems. Then, I win a bid yesterday, pay immediately, and have had NO communication from seller. No invoice, no "you won this bid" e-mail - nothing! I tried to reach Ebay - waited for the "Chat", then got ridiculous answers from "Darryl D." -as if I was talking to a programmed ROBOT. Totally wasted my time,and made me want to KILL PEOPLE, or CRY! Then he brought another "staffer" into the "chat", then magically, the chat ENDED!!! I waited for 45 minutes to join the "chat"! I guess I didn't realize what could go terribly wrong when using Ebay. I twas just concerned about being happy with an item, or in my case, should I even but anything right now! I've e-mailed the seller three times today, and I guess she is AWOL, and I've lost $36, and will have no new black boots. I'm done with Ebay, and I will go to my bank, and ask them to recover my $36 - it might be a hassle, but I bet easier than having Ebay "help"!

I have been a seller and customer for more than 12 years, I always respected the fact that eBay monitored the sellers . You knew there were no fakes.. Well I have been shopping on eBay looking for Ugg boots, I can not believe how many counterfeiters there are selling fake uggs, with several of the sellers,title listing as Ugg, then in the ad, saying they are in no way affiliated with Decker Corp. 98% of the general public would not know Decker Corp. Owns Ugg... Last week I emailed a seller asked if the Uggs were Authentic Ugg distributed by Decker Corp. She guaranteed me they were authentic.. I bought them and they were fake.. And a poor example that.. I paid $ 142.00 for fake uggs .. WTH is the value in that.. Is this a sign EBAY for me to shop else where, I reported the seller.. She is still selling.. The thing that really irks me is in one of her pictures she has an ugg box ( on the box you can see the security label ugg tells you guarantees the product is authentic, the boots pictured have the inner merino wool) when I got the boots for one thing upon opening the box, you could smell they were not real the lining is a cheap synthetic fur.. The bottom sole is a slippery imatation rubber... And the box I received has no security label on it.. I am throughly discusted..

I put my rating as three stars when actually it is only one. I just started recently and then decided to let all my items run out and never list ebay again. My very first buyer purchased my item within a short time after it was listed. He lived in Calif, I live in the south. It took ten days to get there but before he even received the item I smelled skunk. He already email and wanted to know if the item was real (guitar). I received two emails asking questions after the item was shipped. Naturally, when he got the item, he said it was not real. In fact he gave me a rating that I sold him a fake guitar. This was a legtimate guitar with all manufacturing logo, seals, etc. Anyway, ebay sided with him which really is alright, my item will sell to someone else because I know that it is legtimate and good. It has now been 25 days and I have not received my item back. Ebay will not return my emails. I now have a phone number if its works and I will be calling them. Their policy, if the item is not returned in 15 days, the case is closed. I will never sell on ebay nor will I ever buy on ebay again. I have never been treated so unfairly, talked to by email like I am a crook, etc. This happened after one transactions. They will not get a chance at me again. Why don't you join me and leave ebay and never return again.

ebay dont want to help anyone i bided on a doll and then i got a email from ebay that said i got out bided so i moved on didnt try to out bid the person who out bided me so i bought a diffenrt doll then few hours latter i get another email from ebay saying aw im the new highest bidder again so i was like what so i contacted ebay thur chat line got a hold of a supervisor she said as a one time customer thankyou the would retrack all my bids but that never happend then contacted ebay thur the phone had to go thur paypal to get to ebay by phone this happend four times they say they will call you back but thats there way to brush u off cant trust a company that wont even take care of there customers no numbers scamers i tell u if anyone cares at ebay they would look into this i will not go away im going to call everyday untill my stuff get taken care of thanks for leting me vent this out hopefuly someone cares

I sent this on 11-17-2010 with no response. I need someone's help and I'm very concerned how I'm being treated by eBay. I work very hard to keep my eBay business growing and when you run into an issue on a customers end it seems to be that your customer service support is unable to help. Let me make this very clear to eBay. I am visually impaired and use specialized software on my computer. your web site is not ADA compatible by any means. I feel I have been mistreated by the customer support phone line. And I am looking forward for someone to give me a call to discuss this issue before I take legal action against your company. Now to my concern a customer purchased an item and decided several days after the auction he no longer wanted it. so customer support told me to put it out as a second chance offer. I did this for 24 hours with no takers. customer support tells me I have to file a complaint unfortunately I am unable to do this with my computer because of my vision impairment. certain things the computer will not read to me so your customer support person told me if I had any other issues after the 24 hours I was up to give them a call and they would do this for me. This did not happen and please do not take this lightly that my rights as a disabled person have been violated. so item number 250721311595 Colt single action grips needs to be investigated. Also I have another individual who has e-mailed me stating they do not want the item after the auction has been over for three days. I have spent time money listing an item and time packing these items up to make sure when payments received I can immediately ship. second complaint that needs to be investigated 250721434626 marbles sights. This site is a JOKE. I sold an Iphone on ebay in perfect condition and the buyer decides its not to her liking and lied about damages on the phone. Ebay held up 400.00 in my Paypal account and advised the buyer to send the phone back to me (even though my auction stated ALL SALES FINAL....NO REFUNDS." Anyways, after 5 days the buyer has ONLY let UPS know about billing information, has NOT given the item to UPS for delivery. So now im stuck in limbo for ANOTHER 5 DAYS to find out whether they are even sending OUT the phone back to me. this is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! If the phone DID have damage the buyer would have been in a hurry to get it back to me, however after 5 days and they still have not sent it out??!!?? whats this tell you??? A rep at Ebay even told me she thinks their policies are ABSURD but nothing she could do about it. THIS will be the LAST I deal with these ignorant people. After calling the corporate number, I was faced with nothing but an automated answering system.....WHAT JOKES THESE PEOPLE ARE!!!!! EBAY is HORRIBLE. I have already advised all my friends and family to stop using Ebay...so Ebay has officially lost over 40 users, and I am sure after they tel their friends and their friends tell their friends, Ebay will be hurting quite a bit. Ebay if you wanna keep customers happy - GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!!

Fee bay doesn't give a rats butt about buyers or sellers. All they want is that final value fee deposited into their account. There are more and more bogus coin dealers selling counterfeits, using decieving listing titles and when one does file a complaint, they get the usual computer generated response. The only way to wake them up is for everybody to STOP SELLING ON E-BAY, once they see their income drop, the stock holders will question what the heck is going on. There are hundreds of other auction web sites, time for e-bay to start loosing money.

Why on earth when you try to call Ebay, you can't talk to a representative? It says to click on the HELP link on Ebay. I have not been able to get into Ebay for the past couple of weeks and I have tried everything, searched the internet for answers, but to no avail. I can get into a cached copy...but then when I click on a link like "my summary", it says the webpage cannot be displayed. My last resort was to call and ask why. I have an upstanding account on Ebay and have bought over 500 items. Why is there not someone that can help me to get back on? If you can't get into Ebay what on earth do you do to get it back??? Please help....someone?? Thanks

I had an auction to sell my laptop. I specified that no on should bid who had a zero rating. Someone still did. I wrote that person to make them aware of my seller's note. They won the auction in the last seconds and claimed they didn't see the message I wrote them. I cancelled the transaction. She agreed to that. I had had a 100% feedback rating. She left negative feedback for me, putting my rating down to 93% and her comment was "Bad Seller". SHE has zero feedback and can just pick up another identity. I've been an eBay member for years and they are fine with this scammer manipulating my feedback! This person messed up my auction, messed up my feedback and EBay is fine with that.

Been ebaying since 1999. I live in Nashvlle and sold an item to a woman in California. I offered free shipping and explained that it will be using the cheaper method of shipping and it would be 5 to 7 days. The item was paid for right after the auction ended and it was shipped the very next morning. I then received an email the next day from the buyer informing me that she is giving this as a birthday gift and it needs to be there within a few days. I explained that the item had already shipped and had I known it needed to go faster She could have upgraded the shipping. I explained if she is not happy I can refund if she ships it back.The next day (only three days after the auction ended) I was informed that the buyer reported this as not being received and got a full refund on the item. I tried contacting her several times and never got a response. Ebay took the side of the buyer and I never heard back from either party. So now I am out $75 and the item I shipped to her. Thanks alot ebay.

What a waste of time. I've have been ripped off by a seller and Ebay says give them more time. It's now been 2 months. How much more time do I have to wait? And why is it you can't contact a real person to get some damn customer srevice? Has everything been moved to India or China? Thank you Ebay for being a useless company.

Thank you Ebay - you have suspended me from selling and cancelled all my auctions, after letting me take the time to list them and people to already be bidding on them. I have over 15,000 positive feedbacks, no negatives in over a year, and my customers are happy with their buys. But you, Ebay, decided to implement your seller dashboard and suspend me because I get rated down on shipping charges - my shipping is clearly stated on each auction page, if the buyers don't want to pay it, then they don't have to bid on it, what business is it of your Ebay what I charge?!!! Should I just give free shipping and take a loss for over half my auctions? Do you not realize that when I print a copy of each auction, send it with the card, which is either in a top-load or plastic case, shipped in a padded mailer, has postage on it, takes time to do the whole transaction from start to finish, gas to the post office, all this costs money! Ebay, you have taken your cut of my auctions for years - thousands of dollars - and from my Paypal too....now you are telling me you don't want my money or I'm not good enough to sell on your site? Fine, how many other customers are you going to lose because of your stupid and ridiculous seller dashboard ratings? I could understand it if I was getting a lot of negative feedbacks, but because I am rated lower on shipping charges....how dumb are you anyway?!!! i bought a item last week and paid straight away then 4.5 days later get email saying we have refunded your payment as we made mistake with price how on earth is this my fault and all i want is what i paid for and it was a buy it now??? yet ebay cant help they cant get involved what crap as its a power seller and they make 2 much its blantant fraud

I have been robbed by ebay as well. Charges for fees of 203.00 sol no items at all and still was charged. ??????? THIS Sucks!

I have received threats for bodily harm and even Death. Ebay is doing nothing about it! Call transfers around 50 MINUTES and then get disconected. If ANYTHING happens to me or my family I will make sure a suit is filed. It WILL be open and shut. I have saved all the proof and NOTHING from ebay. I will be calling my lawyers very shortly considering I may not have alot of time.
