Phone calls, e-mails, letters, none of them matters to e-Bay and you better understand this right now. EBAY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR HOW PERFECT YOUR ACCOUNT IS OR ANYTHING ELSE AS FAR AS THAT GOES. They are only concerned now with overseas and local big business corps. with fat money in their pay-pal accounts so e-Bay can pad their pockets. Don't get upset or drive yourself insane trying to figure out what you did wrong because more then likely you did NOTHING wrong. What you do is what e-bay forces everyone to do that has to sell to survive, Laugh, give e-bay the middle finger and open up or purchase a Stealth account. I always followed the rules and not one who likes to have to do things the wrong way but JOKE-BAY doesn't give you ANY choice with their non-existent customer service. Think about it people, they are rude to you and suspend you because they dont want or need your business unless its big business! I have THREE suspended accounts, all with 100% percent 5-star feedback? Figure that one out for me would you? Unfortunately e-Bay has become a Joke!

i buy and sell things on eBay. yes occasionally i do get a bad product, but i recently bought a tivo unit that went bad after only 27 days. i paid $90 with shipping for this unit. do you think it is fair that i was told by ebay that they FELT 27 days was long enough to own a tivo unit (piece of electronics) before it went bad? now i did nothing special with it, i used it like a tivo, actually it was the least used tivo in the house since i rarely watch any tv in my bedroom.when i wen to turn it on it had a Grey screen so i shut it off waited and restarted it, had the same problem contacted tivo tried to trouble shut it with them but it was just broke. this unit was only a yr old but it wasn't used for that long either as i was told. so you tell me as a seller, could you sleep at nite knowing you sold a bad unit like this??

Please look in to the unfair way they do thing down there. The make there our laws up as they go along.. That woman down there should not be working for you..

I had all good feed backs and sone down they had friends selling the thing I did for less money. So they closed my account.. For no reason..

This company has the worst to no support for their customers. I will never give advice to use EBay to sell anything. Customer service told me they can't fix the site, but does acknowledge they have a problem. I can't list anything because of their problem. I suggest to everyone to use Craigslist.

apparantly ebay has gone to crap since meg whitman left. apay Pal refuses to permit me to set up account unless i come up with a old credit card number which ws stolen 2 years ago plus thry say i must give yp my email account i have had for 4 years and get a new email account. I tried callin ebaly customer serviced and was told to screw off call paypal so ebay no longer gives a crap about customers abfd pay pal about as corrupt as it gets. so ebay is a crap company thry do no even let yoy complain to anyone in corporate headquarters buch of cowards.

The eBay memo today sounds like Amazon! I signed up for Amazon at Christmas because of my continuing issues with eBay but after close examination of their policies I decided not to go with them. The main reason I did stay on eBay was because I did not feel like paying fees on my shipping charges also. Why would you feel eligible to collect fees on shipping? I don’t make any money on shipping why should you? New lower FVF? How come there is no mention of what the new fees will be? Won’t we all be Top Rated Sellers if people can purchase from several sites at once? Who gets the feedback? Who gets the low DSR for the sale when they don’t like the shipping? Do you think you could possible be more informative or must you always remain vague? While your staff is sitting around thinking of ways to take my profits why don’t they discuss the ongoing dissatisfaction of your store sellers? How nice to list items without paying for a store! You have people that obviously go out shoplifting for the Holidays come home and list it and pay nothing unless it sells. The prices I see during the Holidays for Hallmark Ornaments are not sold by honest people who have stores on eBay and purchase their products at the typical Hallmark 40% discount!! My guess is they are ALL top rated sellers now. Who would not want to buy an $18 item for 99 cents and free shipping? Next year I think I’ll purchase most of my inventory on eBay instead of Hallmark. I lost thousands of dollars this year because not one of your “sales team” (thanks again for taking away our personal account rep, would not have happened if someone was actually obligated to get back to me with an answer! When you have a name and an extension to contact someone they are more accountable for follow up and resolving issues.) could explain why my Hallmark ornaments were so far back in search results even though I was a Top Rated Seller!! Once again I had to figure that one out for myself. Who else but eBay would make a crucial change in September the kick off to the Holiday Season, but again they do that EVERY year. Bet if I called today 4 months later I still could not get an answer from your unaccountable staff. What other business partner can you have that you can’t even send an email? Or respond to theirs? Kudos on the way you run your company, I guess it works for you. Once again I expect no replay or one of your half baked pat answers. Ebay has gone to the dogs. They have taken a 7 year account with 100% positive feedback and KILLED IT. I am going to do my best to sue if I can and I will find others who are as pissed at ebay as I am. ebay use to be good and now they are crap. No one I have spoke with has even worked for ebay more then 3 months. There customer service sucks to no end. I am hopping for a new venue to sale like it use to be on ebay. They are just to uncaring about any one member because they have so many others. They need a hard lesson in every customer is important. Since the merger between eBay and Paypal, this entity has become monopolistic, which is in violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act. Why is Paypal holding eBay Sellers' payments from Buyers until receiving confirmation that the Buyers received the goods via the USPS or UPS Tracking Number? I and other friends were told by your representatives that this practice will continue "indefinitely" until Paypal determines when to release the "hold" on our funds. In short, our "float funds" are invested by Paypal in the best interest of Paypal only and not its customers. Shipping can take anywhere from 2-days to 2-weeks. So, this practice will only benefit the cash flow of Paypal. Furthermore, Paypal allows your Registered eBay Stores and businesses to accept credit cards. This is discriminatory to the individual customers, who don't have a merchant account with a financial institution. This practice should be reported to for example FTC, the State and U.S. Attorney General's Office, Congressional sub-committees overlooking monopolistic and discriminatory practices. Pierre M. I have tried many times to contact ebay regarding fraud that is growing and growing. It does not hurt the buyer or the seller; it actually helps the buyer and seller -- and ebay loses totally in the process. Ebay is losing thousands and thousands of dollars every minute due to this scheme. Doesn't anybody at ebay want to know what is going on? This scheme will make a great "60 Minute" segment, Geraldo - are you out there wanting a great story?, or You Tube presentation on how to scam ebay. IF somebody legitmate from ebay want to contact me, I would be happy to accept a job with them and prove that they can make millions more in profit by stopping these schemes. I see the problem getting worse each day and nobody that it is reported to cares enough to follow up and do anything. Must be time to sell my stock in ebay.

Once ebay was supportive in stopping fraud. Now you can not stop the fraud on ebay. Ebay legal will not respond directly to you and it appears that blatent fraud makes ebay a lot of money. Artifacts seem to be a prime zone for defrauders of artifacts. With evidence and continued fraud ebay will not remove or stop the fakers. WHY??? Thats why I stopped selling on ebay! It appears that ebay does not care about maintaing Good buyers. They don't follow their own policies. Buyer Protection is a farce. I purchased an item with a cost to me in the low thousands of dollars. The item was damaged. The damage was not disclosed in the listing nor was it shown in photos. I was asked to take photos which I could not do since I do not have a digital camera. I was asked to fax a condition report made by an auctioneer etc. which I dir the following day. Ten days later I was notified that I had lost my case because the requested information was not received. I phoned the resolution center and told them the condition report was faxed the day after the request. The agent checked and sure enough the fax had been received.However,I was told that nothing could be done,but they would credit my PayPal account with half the amount I paid. EBays Protection policy states that a seller must list damages and show them in photos. The seller did not do this. The policy also states that if a not as described case is opened for a purchase covered by eBay Buyer protection,I must typically send the item back to the seller before getting a refund in my PayPal account. I was repeatedly told that I could NOT send the item back to the seller. EBay ignored the fact that thier Buyer Protection policy states that buyers will receive coverage for the full purchase price of the item plus original shippingHalf my purchase price was credited to my PayPal account.The fact that Ebay states that its Buyer Protection policy covers items,with eligible payment methods,that are not as described is meaningless as they ignore policies that protect buyers. Ebay appears to be a "buyer beware site". Ebay ignores "item not as described"reports...even when given back up evidence. My purchasing days with eBay are over. The have lost a good buyer with 100% feedback.

Did Business with Rent.com. You need to watch these girls they will tell you anything to get you signed up under their programs...They have an exagerated self importance and of course they are all lawyers, or they seem to think they are anyway.

Ebay has certainly went down hill (two thumbs down)for Sellers!!.The feedback playing field is now very unbalanced.I sell approximately 50% of the time on Ebay ,and Buy 50% of the time.As a buyer I can leave negative Feedback to a 100% feedback seller,and no matter what they try to do to help me out...in most cases if I leave them negative feedback they will be stuck with the negative Feedback!Why? 1.Poor Ebay Guidelines that are very unrealistic 2.uncaring support ebay team for the seller(robotic if you may).3.A buyer can not receive negative Feedback from a seller anymore..(so buyers have no reason to work things out,they can leave negative feedback..move on ..and buy from someone else on ebay) no questions asked...4.Sellers have to battle to get their ebay fees back (which takes too much time). My conclusion: If you are a buyer: Ebay is almost the perfect world,you can get great deals on Ebay,leave negative feedback to sellers even if they don`t deserve it (with no recourse) because sellers can`t leave you negative Feedback to buyers even if they are Rude,unkind,unwilling to try to work with you,or whatever the case may be,and you will always have 100% feedback! As a seller there are better options now available!! also....I do know that a new Auction style Website is being developed right now... with cheaper seller fees,better customer service....a better feedback type system..and if Ebay does not get their Act together they will lose a lot of Sellers when this site Launches!!! Ebay Please do all Sellers a Favor (bring Back the OLD Feedback system)where an unjustly buyer can receive bad Feedback as well as sellers...OR lets just drop the Percentage rating!! or revamp the system altogether and just go by total Sells...I

To whom ever reads this! Especially to the Afican American! Real reason for regulating the internet! There is a rouge element loose within America and within the corporate walls of Big Corporations like Ebay, MicroSoft Adcenter, Google and the like. These places have so much potential to provide opportunity and change peoples lives it's funny! Believe me when I say if you are of color(Black)..., helping you make a living online is not going to be their priorty so to speak, because this opportunity is mostly only shared among themselves. The sad truth is..., and it has been my experience that these corporations and the people that run them have a hidden agenda and an ungodly strangle hold on opportunity that they only allow access to mostly white people. If you are online trying to make money, trying to make a living for yourself, but your're having difficulties where there shouldn't be any..., I'm here to tell you that it's because the people that run these corporation's the customer support agents and upper management don't want you to have the access to the same opportunity as them! I have bought and attempted to sell on E-bay. I have tried and tried to get resulotion over three recent unpaid calims againest me, I "CANNOT" get to a real persont o help me I go in circles in all areas of E-bay that offer help! When I do get a person on phone last time he was not allot of help. I contacted sellers and explained I had to go out of town if I won auction items I would be back in town around 20th of Feb , My Grandbaby was being born out of town and I do not have mobile internet so I would pay for tiems on the 20th the baby was due much earleir but had to be taken yesterday by C-section after day or so of labor. I tried to go back and pay for these items one I found relisted I paid 10 more for it , second one is back in Auction do not want to do that again , would be glad to pay it now, and third was a mistake I expalined to confused customer service person this last attempt before FEb 19 to get this one resolved. Issues are 307926595 Paid 2/22/2011- 307854341 BAck in auction , sent seller expalination offer to pay for it now. 307747032 DId not want was mistake mix up over two different sellers and three identical shirts almost, one I bought but this one I did not want but offered to buy if it was demanded to be paid asked if she would relist it was mistake before 19th of Feb. PLEASE PLEASE GET THESE TO THE RESOLUTION CENTER TO HANDLE MY APPEAL I CANNOT GET THROUGH!!!!! You suspended my account for "follow up" feedback and gave me a warning followed 2 secs later a suspension. What's the purpose of a warning if 2 secs you suspend me? What I wrote back was only facts and you say its allowed. The person is a scam artist: I sold a pair of pants for $.99 and $3.99 shipping and he wouldn't return them. His complaint was they were not new! I listed them as used. You pay him back through paypal and he keeps the pants. Then you attack me like a dam criminal and suspend my account for calling him scam artist and say negative feedback with positive. WHAT? It's obvious he reported me and must work there or have a friend. I called to appeal and get a man who says I do a wonderful job and such then transfers me to another man who says I can not appeal after 20 minutes because of low dsr. It was the scam artist that left the low dsr and I didn't get suspended for that! Then hangs up on me~ What a joke!

eBay must review their feedback policy, especially when it applies to buyers. Feedback is meant to evaluate a transaction and not to serve as means to become either vindictive or serve to dehumanize the seller. I ahve beena buyer and a seller and I must say that when buying an item that was defective I always managed to reach a settlement with the seller. As a seller I always strive to describe the item carefully so that there won't be any misperceptions by the buyer. I listed a pair of skates as "used with some rust on the blades". The item was sold on a "buy now" process and was shipped to the buyer. After the item was shipped (and not yet received..) the buyer started to ask questions regardin the condition of the skates, the rust, and the fact that he noticed that in the photos of the skates there didn't seem to be much blade left. I explained that the skates had been in storage for over a year and yes the, rust was surface and could be removed at first sharpening. Well, once he received the item he went ballistic, ccused me of lying (which is now a permanent record on my feedback). I attempt to have the feedback removed but to no avail. eBay decided to support the buyer and refused to listen to my side of things, even though the buyer had a rating of 6 (only bought six items previously and was unrated) and my rating is 345 with a 100% rating....... Here's their reply to my request for feddback evaluation: "...After reviewing your email, I understand that your listing advises of rust and wear but the case was decided in your buyers favor. I can understand how frustrating that is. I think anyone would feel equally frustrated. We appreciate your patience and willingness to work this out. When we review cases, we don't have the benefit of seeing the actual item. Therefore it was difficult for us to determine exactly what condition it was sent or received in. In an effort to resolve this case and try to satisfy both parties, we had your customer send the item back to you for a full refund. We do look for buyer’s remorse trends but I hope you can understand it is difficult to prove. Please know that situations like these are rare and I will be documenting this so that we can take action against this buyer if necessary. As for your appeal, I would first like to thank you for describing your item accurately. I apologize that your customer may have made false claims, but I hope you can understand that until this point, we had no way of knowing. At this point, you have an item back that you can resell to a more appreciative buyer. For that reason, I am not able to grant you appeal. You will also receive an automated email with this same information, but I wanted to take a few moments and explain our decision in further detail. I encourage you to relist the item, and turn a bad transaction into a good transaction with another buyer. Edward I hope I have explained why we aren’t able to grant your appeal today. In closing, I see that you have been a part of the eBay community since June of 2001..." So, what is the recourse sellers have to deal with asshole buyers? I'm open to suggestions... Cheers!
