ANY ATTEMPT TO CALL IS MET WITH FOREIGN UNEDUCATED CHILDREN (see below), AND AN EMAIL ADDRESS IS HIDDEN FROM THE PUBLIC. That's why the DOZENS OF "ANTI-PAYPAL SITES" I found, tell people with complaints, FIRST OFF: ."Avoid using PayPal's automated email submission center -- that email goes straight to New Delhi, India where you will get a prompt reply back that has nothing to do with what you asked in the first place. For faster results, email the following departments (where people with decision making authority can help you):" (dON'T WORRY- I'M SAVING THIS EMAIL, AND I WILL GET IT TO SOMEONE AT EBAY OR PAYPAL! My story: About 2 weeks ago, your website screwed up my Home Address, reverting back to my 1-YEAR-OLD OBSOLETE ADRESS that I moved from, AND UPDATED WITH PAYPAL 6 MONTHS AGO. Your company has ACTUALLY SENT ME SOMETHING AT MY NEW ADDRESS, (78 MILTON ST), BUT 2 WEEKS AGO, WHEN I TRIED TO BUY A PRODUCT AND USE PAYPAL(a big mistake), YOUR COMPANY TRIED TO USE, AND HAVE MAIL SENT TO, MY YEAR-OBSOLETE ADDRESS. I immediately called Paypal, where I was met with an immature, laughing, non-intelligible-English-speaking young boy(who I was told was "The Supervisor" ), AFTER the GIRL who PICKED UP FIRST, had EVEN WORSE ENGLISH) I tried, very patiently at first, to make BOTH of these young people understand how Paypal had screwed up, trying to mail to an address where I don't live, haven't lived, when Paypal KNEW MY CURRENT ADDRESS, and that the package would be stolen. They had very low intelligence, and on TOP of that, they thought this was all a BIG JOKE. I explained to them if they didn't refund my money, and change my address, I would be filing a Large Lawsuit, as the GIRL ADMITTED TO ME, AND MY WITNESSES ON SPEAKERPHONE, THAT PAYPAL HAD SCREWED UP, THAT YOU HAD PREVIOUSLY SENT PACKAGE TO THE CORRECT ADDRESS. So today, I went on your useless, aggravating website and changed my addresses.(again). Not that I would EVER USE PAYPAL, AND AM RECCOMMENDING TO AS MANY PEOPLE I MEET OR TALK TO, TO NEVER USE PAYPAL. Your "Customer Service" is basically Rude Non-English-Speaking Children, laughing on the phone, AFTER A CUSTOMER HAS TO SEARCH FOR A NUMBER. YOU HAVE NO EMAIL ADDRESSES LISTED, so your company is SO BAD, you've driven people to CREATE WEBSITES AGAINST YOU. That's quite an achievement. I don't have a review but I do have a question. A family member lives in Paris France and we are concern that he is not dealing with an official "E Bay organization as the items he has sold are posted many days after he brings them in for documantation etc. and the money he receives takes an exceptional time to receive. We suspect he is going to a French Pawn shop, a disreptable one at that. I've been purchasing items on eBay since 2004. I've had my 1st bad experience and eBay Customer Service and "Specialists" are no help whatsoever. They hide behind...I know how you feel and our policy. I purchased / paid 2 cases of Monavie EMV for $120 & $18 shipping. I received 1 case. Contacted the seller who insisted she sent me 2 cases. She even went as far as to desribe how she packaged it. Knowing what I received was NOT what she described, I took pictures of it where you can clearly see her undistrubed shipping label. I also got a statement from my Mail Carrier of the package she delivered. My Mail Carrier was off on the color thinking the box was dark brown (it's black) but she described the size quite well. She said it was the size of a shoe box or a little larger. That is the size of 1 case, not 2. After emailing the seller my Mail Carrier's description of the package, she issued credit for 1/2 the purchase, but not the postage. My feedback was honest and rather than making rating her negative I gave her a neutral rating even though she cheated me on the postage. My feedback was..... rcv'd 1/2 what I paid for - rcv'd 1/2 credit for purchase, but not shipping. The seller responded to my feedback stating......gave credit for 1/2 the product even with proof of delivery! Ungrateful The "even with proof of delivery!" infers I received the entire order and I'm nothing but a thief. I tried to get eBay to remove that comment but they refuse. I was on the phone with one person after another asking them to remove that comment but.........they understand how I feel but can't remove it because it doesn't violate their policy. How can someone inferring someone else is a thief not violate their policy? eBay seems to be free of any liability because they are not responsible for what people post because it's the person's "opinion" according to Customer Service. Well, I'm sorry!! I'm not a liar, cheat or thief and nobody is going to infer I am!! I'll take this anywhere I need to but that will be removed one way or another. How dare that seller and eBay!!!! I think it's time for laws to change!! If eBay is made aware of something that is untrue or if there is even a dispute about the validity of a comment brought to their attention, they should be held just as responsible as the person committing the libel.

I have been with eBay since 2006. And have seen as well, many different things that I feel could have been handled differently. By eBay and also by the buyers and sellers. I held a Top Rated Seller Possition for a while. Not by the one large money sale (with a 0 feedback rated newbie) to land a top rated spot. But, by very hard work and years to aquire it (after a 100% feedback rating of over 800). I lost this possition due to negative feedback. Well, what is amazing is I offer FREE shipping for over 90% of all items I sell. My negative feedback was based on my shipping cost. WOW how is that I wonder ! So I contacted eBay and they said they cannot change the feedback on their end it was up to the customer to revise. One item was sent in 2 boxes with delivery confirmation. Yet the customer stated that he never recieved 1 of the boxes. Now, what newbies do not understand as of yet. Is that we the sellers are NOT in control of the U.S.P.S. I can pay for over night but a rain delay can cause a day or two delay in my shipment. At this time the usps is not required to issue a refund. I contacted the customers with this information and never got a response. Now, this stays on my record for a year effecting my ability to reaquire my top rated spot. I feel that eBay should restrick newbies on leaving feedback until they have worked to aquire the right to leave feedback. I mean have a period as to where they have recieved say a 100 feedback rating as a buyer first. Just a idea to help out eBay with standing behind it sellers whom they make all of their monies off of.

eBay shut my business down and put me on the streets. I lost my home and car. They shut my store down becasuse of my shipping time. My ad clearly stated 7-8 business day delivery yet a consumer could still give negative DSR ratings. That's bogus! Now I can't have an eBay accountnof one year and Paypal will not let ms have an account. 100% not fair. eBay is a horrible company with noo compassion on business owners.

I had a buyer that didn't want to pay for an item. I put in for the non paying bidder and opened a case. Finally I guess after Ebay concted her she paid. I was stupid enough to try and be be a good person and left her positive feedback. Well after she got the itme she complained it was not as listed and that some items didn't come with it. She opened a case against me for item not a described. I contacted her and Ebay with a response that the item was exactly as listed and the item came with what was in the picture. I also told Ebay that she had every opportunity to ask questions and she didn't. Now here comes the best part, since she opened a case and Ebay ruled in her favor they are going to pay her through the buyer protection option and I have to pay them. Well they put a hold on the Item sold amount in my PapPal account which I think is BS. First how can they access any money I have in a personal account and 2nd how can they rule in her favor when it is obvious that she just wanted her money back, she didn't want to pay in the first place. Ebay's customer service sucks and I made sure I told them exactly what I thought. How many people are up for a class action law suite against them for unfair practices and accessing personal accounts.

Ebay and customer service should never go in the same sentence, there's no customer service there. I got told they didn't have boss's so you couldn't complain to anyone about being hung up on or treated rudely, and nobody spoke English that you could understand. Sounded like they where in the middle east some where what gives???

How about a brand new member wanting to sell.. Sign up? No Sorry. Your business email address is still being used by an old dormant user. An email address can only be used by one person - period. My business now owns it. But their policy states that that person still owns it. They could be dead and still own it. I work for a fortune 500 company. It's amazing that our president just said last week - we may have a policy but under certain circumstances it should be broken. Do the job right. Since only one person can own an email address, I am certainly not going to create another address when this is my company name. When I am gone, I am sure someone else will get it. So it appears ebay does not even want my business as I will not create a new address to support their ignorant policy. As a systems person, you need to bring you application current to the changes of business and is users. Oh, and in the meantime, I can continue to get emails from ebay attached to the dormant account reminding me continuously of this amazing policy.

I sold a $450 (used) item to a guy across the country. He received it, tested it, inspected it, determined that it was as I described in my auction that he won, and subsequently left me positive feedback - he was a satisfied owner. He began using the item constantly over the next several days until, on the fifth day, the item failed and came apart. He filed a dispute and ebay sided with him. Ebay told him to return the (now destroyed) item back to me for a full refund. Did I fail to mention that I'm a 12 year paypal member and a 14 year ebay member, with close to 500 profile and 100% pos rating? Thanks for the epic customer service ebay, and for sticking it to me.

EBay has a serious problem with contract law. They have provided buyers with the buyer protection program; however, they fail to understand contract law. I purchased a fake NorthFace jacket and tried to file a claim through their buyer protection program. The seller used a fake address which was connected to a school. The only way you will receive your money back is by returning the item. Well, I could not return the item because the Post Office could not deliver the item to an appropriate party! I had such a difficult time trying to log on to submit the problem. They hid behind the allotted timeframe set by THEM! I requested they call me so I could explain and fax them the appropriate documentation from both the Post Office AND UPS! They denied my refund. I could not follow up with this with the Attorney General of California because my father became ill and then passed away. I will be proving my case with the Attorney General's office. Even though I will probably not receive my refund, EBay will be made to change its policy for returns under the Buyer Protection Program! I guarantee that for the rest of the Buyers through EBay! Contract law clearly states that there must be an "Offer", an "Acceptance" and a "Consideration". By EBay hiding behind emails ONLY, this denies the Buyer the opportunity to provide their case; therefore, there is no "Offer" part of their contract! EBay . . . I'm coming to prove my case and you can answer to the Attorney General's Office!

This is the wrost people I hve ever delt with. They talk out of both sides of there month and say they will do every thing for you. Them they just you over.. they will not tell you who doing this to us. but turn them in and see what happen to them.
