I will never buy something on ebay again. Your website is unfriendly for customer service. I received a product that was damaged. When I tried to contact the company their email was not real or was their phone. They do not exist and I thought ebay checked sellers out. The company is Buckingham Party Supply. What do I do next.

I have been a customer and seller on ebay. Recently within the last 7 days I sold 13 items ebay told paypal to hold my money. However i had to spend $78.96 out of my pocket to ship the items. They won't release the money to me until I prove that my customers got their items. I have 100% feedback and have NEVER had any complaints as a buyer or a seller. This is how they treat their customers. They have lost my business for life. They are doing this to many other people too. I have found numerous complaints. Don't use ebay or paypal.

Wow! Just looking at the negative comments regarding eBay Customer Support confirms my experience. I tried to escalate my problem to a manager or supervisor and was told that no manager or supervisor was available. REALLY!?!? I was insistent that I needed to talk to someone in management. The agent named hung up on me. How is that for customer service or should I say customer NON-SERVICE!

I sold a complete set of baseball cards to a so called power buyer (according to eBay) for a great price. After he won the item, he noticed a similar item at a lower price and refused to pay me. I filed a complaint against the buyer and the buyer eventually paid me for the item, 10 business days after the closing of the bid. I mailed the item and received a message that there were 25 cards missing from this set. This was impossible as this was a complete set and I verified each card before it was packaged and mailed. I told the buyer I would only refund his money if he sent me the complete set. I felt he was trying to keep the most valuable cards while returning the rest back to me. He then left me a negative rating. This was in retaliation for filing a complaint against him for not paying me in a timely manner and trying to back out of the deal. I requested that eBay look into this matter and they refused. I have since requested to have my account closed, and again, they refuse to close out my account. I have sold and bought over 200 items using eBay and they have made a lot of money off me. For them to not remove a negative rating over retaliation and lose a good customer is a poor business decision as many are tired of eBay always screwing their sellers as they are not protected in any way.

EBAY IS NOW RIPPING OFF THEIR SELLERS BY CHARGING A FINAL VALUE FEE ON SHIPPING. THEY ARE TAKING MONEY FROM THEIR SELLERS BECAUSE SOME SELLERS WILL TRY TO CHARGE LOW COST FOR ITEMS WITH HIGH SHIPPING. I USE THE SHIPPING CALCULATOR BECAUSE MY ITEMS ARE LARGE AND HEAVY. I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE FINAL COST FOR SHIPPING AS IT IS DETERMINED BY THE BUYERS ZIP CODE. I HAVE TO COME OUT OF POCKET TO NOW SHIP AN ITEM BECAUSE OF EBAYS POLICY TO CHARGE FOR SHIPPING FEES. THIS IS BOARDERLINE FRAUD AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AS SUCH

The reason I am writing to you is because, my EBay account is very important to me, and it seems that your customer service department doesn’t understand it. My account has been closed, after giving me outstanding certificate of Power Seller, Top Rated Seller and the following ratings: Detailed Seller Ratings (last 12 months) Criteria Average rating Number of ratings Item as described 52 Communication 52 Shipping time 52 Shipping and handling charges 52 I was out of the country for about a month and when I came back I found that my account had been closed due to some irregularities that occurred while I was out. Since them I have been trying to get my account restored, by calling and offering circumstantial evidence, but nobody seems to care, they don’t even listen to what I have to say. Please get somebody to assist me in restoring my account; I will do whatever needs to be done in order to get it reopen. Thank you, in advance for your help. At least one (1) international crime unit has set up two sites: one site is a mirror image of e-Bay; the other is a mirror image of Pay Pal. When a valuable item such as diamonds, gold, etc., is offered for sale, an offer to purchase is made with the stipulation that Pay Pal must be involved. The seller agrees not knowing that the Pay Pal he/she is dealing with is the morror image. The seller checks the Pay Pal mirror image and sees that the money is in his/her account and delivers the valuable item to the buyer who is always outside the U.S. When the seller attempts to claim his/her payment for the item, he/she is told that the funds will be released in 24 hours. Since these buyers are never in the U.S., it is impossible to repossess the valuable item. After 24 hours he/she discovers they were dealing with a mirror site and the money was never there. I know for certain that e-Bay, Pay Pal, and the FBI is aware of this scheme, but I see no evidence that anyone is doing anything about it. Sellers should be aware of this scheme when dealing with anyone outside the U.S.

As a recent seller on eBay, I will NEVER recommed using Paypal thru eBay, I apparently do not sell enough thru ebay and they now put a 21 day hold on MY money, which the buyer has paid thru Paypal. (this is not a small amount its $3550.00) I now have to wait 21 days to get my money, while I am supposed to deliver the product to the buyer, which means he has 21 days to decide if he wants to keep this and what if it breaks..... so I'm out of this money and my product. I have called eBay and Paypal both and of couse I am getting absolutly nowhere. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMED SELLING ON eBAY ANYTHING OF GREAT VALUE NOR USING PAYPAL, UNLESS YOU SELL AT MINIMUM 25 ITEMS PER MONTH YOU WILL WAIT FOR YOUR MONEY!!!!!

I'm an Ebay buyer located in New York. I bought an electric can opener from an Ebay seller located in Hong Kong. The Ebay seller took 32 days to mail me the package and he also mailed me the package 13 days later after I paid him for the package. The can opener was also not working or maybe was fake. He asked me to pay him as a Paypal gift in order to avoid extra charges and Ebay refused to reimburse me because according to them the transaction was not done through the Ebay website even was an Ebay product. They also refused to give me their Ebay seller phone number in China.

eBay really makes me upset!!! They mixed me up with another seller that's in the same building, basically saying were linked and suspended me off eBay and held my funds for 180 days for something another seller down the hall has done and refuses to listen!!! EBAY ROBBED ME!!!!!!!

My account was placed on restriction for NO real reason as well. I have a 100% feedback and have never had an issue. I just spent a lot of time with them on the phone. In fact I talked to three different people. I only was told that another account in the UK is linked to mine. I told them that there shouldn't be as I don't have anyone linked to my account here or anywhere and if that it is the case then there is an error on their part somewhere or that someone has given them false information. They refused to give me any real information but instead told me I need to perform well over the next 90 days in order for my account to be increased again. I said but I have had good performance with no problems on eBay. I said I have been a member of eBay for 11 years and have a 100% positive feedback and now all of a sudden you tell me that there is another account linked to mine which, again I know NOTHING about that has caused these limitations to be placed on my account??? Their answer was, Yes! Again I asked for information on this other account but was told me that they couldn't give me that information because I am NOT the holder on this other account they have linked to mine. Well Duh! How do you have this account linked to mine I asked? Perhaps it is some contact information or an address I was told. I said well, if that is true then you should give me some information so I can investigate because someone is obviously using my personal information in a fraudulent way. Again they refused and were redundant with how I needed to perform as a seller over the next 90 days with sales and good feedback in order to have my account increased. Anyway, the bottom line is that I got zero support from customer service and it was a total frustrating waste of my time in calling them to try and get this straightened out. I think perhaps I need to see an attorney and go after eBay. I am sure that I am not the only one who has had this type of thing happen to them with eBay. Who knows maybe this needs to be addressed in a Class Action Suit.

My item was removed from Ebay’s listing, selling item that allegedly violated Ebay Policy & Description. I called customer service and when I attempted to get a straight answer out of them, I have been hung up by them 9 (nine) times, put on hold for over two hours as well never given an answer that will accommodate me. That same item was listed for over one year and approved by Ebay. I’ve spent days calling customer service and asking where is my file or how can I retrieve my item? They told it is permanently removed. Wow, being your member for over 12 years with 100% feedback do you have any decency and appreciation at all to your loyal customer or you decided after making all the money now you can cut your own law and discriminate whoever you want without explanation? I think you violated my rights not once but many times over the years. Nevertheless, I also ask for your customer relations direct phone number and it doesn’t exist. Your unfair practice and lack of customer service violate your policy in the first place. Your customer services are the people who are Ebay sellers in the first place and not educated enough to provide and deal with problems that exist. Finally I would like to ask you with all billions you made do you think that you can afford and educate people how to do the job right????????????????

Poor customer Service

As a seller it makes it hard with the buyer protection plan because ebay has no remorse with sellers. I was hung up on yesterday after trying to resolve a case with a sale that ebay made in the buyers favor without looking at the phone themselves? I think the buyer took advantage of the system. This is not the phone i sent to the buyer. The buyer already had this same phone beaten up bad,opened a case for item not as described, ebay awards in his favor,he has a new phone plus his $100 back that i have to repay and sends me a crappy phone back. I will open a RIPOFF REPORT.com report on ebay. But like ebay cares. they have enough money not to care. It seemed like ebay was trying to avoid me and kept "transferring" me until the one woman said,"sir i hope you have a great day" and hung up. I was transferred 6-7 times and the day before was transferred and then the call ended! Go figure. This will be the same report on ripoff.com.

how can ebay and paypal freeze funds on sales if they are 100% perfect with paypal and ebay? I was sent US dollars for items sold yet ebay and paypal froze the account for up to 21 days?? my funds are fdic insured and us dollars placed in a bank for me. There is not one bank in the united states that can freeze availiable cash funds period, only checks deposited and that is for a few days at most. What gives here? I guess US banking laws dont apply to ebay and paypal, they think they are so big they cad do what they want and just wait to see if any federal level crashes their party. arggg! cant wait for the feds to stop this

I recently had an auction and sold the item to an individual that, at first, advised me he was very happy with his purchase. A week later he informed me that he was not satisified. Further, I contacted him and asked if he would like to exchange the item for one exactly like it. He allowed he would like to do just that. Then I get an email for Ebay saying that a case had been opened against me. Long story short, I had to request Ebay to arbitrate this mess for me to render a final desision. It had been continuing for over a month. I must say that I expected this outcome from this immensely bloated company. Not only does the right hand (Ebay) not know what the left hand (Paypal) is doing, the sellers really have no protection and the buyers can pretty much do as they will. Thank the good Lord for ending the most convoluted and confusing experience I have ever had in dealing with a corporate entity. I have been a consistant and punctual participant in the Ebay auctions for over ten years, however, I will think long and hard before I do any future business with their site.

Great for buyers, as you can find great deals. But as a seller it is near impossible to get any resolution to a problem. The sellers are the ones paying the fees and yet the customer support for a seller is horrible. The customer service reps seem to be reading off of scripts and can often barely speak English. They say the understand the problem(s) and want to help, but NEVER do. I often hang up more frustrated then when I initially called.

Too bad there isn't a negative Rating because I would use it. Ebay doesn't really listen to their sellers. Could this be why there stock performance is so bad? Customer service is non-existent on any and every detail of their site. For the last few years, the company has created more and more restrictions on sellers in the name of ebay GREED, initiating policies that are designed against free trade all in the name of protecting the buyers. Ebay has initiated a policy whereby buyers can complain about the sellers without having any accountability whatsoever. This is a secret, sneaky, feedback system that is unavailable to anybody including the seller. The result is contained in the "Seller Rating" and a lower rating results in the sellers goods not being represented well in a search of ebay items. NOW, if a buyer spoke in public and accused the seller of not representing items as described, he could be sued for slander--but good old ebay gives these underhanded morons the forum to practice their duplicitous ways on the unsuspected. Top all that with nonexistent customer service, increasing fees, more and more irresponsible and injudicious policies that impede free trade and I think there is an opportunity out there for a better online selling forum!!!

Will never sell on ebay again !!!!! Due to paypal chargeback !!!!!! paypal steals money from its customers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am ebay seller, whose ebay was suspended for no reason, when I called them to ask the reason, they told me very rudely that I won't be able to sell on ebay, and there is not any reason. Could anybody help me, I am furious, ebay meant a lot to my family, so I want to contact not the trust and safety department who do nothing to help but want to contact manager or chief who can listen to me and help me. Did anyone give me some numbers so I can call Thanks in advance to evrybody
