In an effort to have a couple boxes of Joe donated for a Church function in East Hartford, CT I have to say that I was very surprised & disappointed at the lack of professionalism shown to me by all 3 locations in East Hartford. I was given the run around as to who I should talk to for this small donation and finally after 2 weeks of call backs was denied by the owner of the D&D on Silver Lane like I was asking for her paycheck! As I made a call to Corporate again their responsibility was shifted to the fact that each D&D location is independently owned & operated therefore if they don't want to support positive initiatives in their community, they don't have to.From my standpoint, Corporate is just the collection agency for the D&D brand and regardless of any complaint whether it be bad customer service/unsatisfactory quality of food/ lack of putting back into the community- You name it, the unsatisfied customer or community will not have a voice - And that leaves a very bad taste in my mouth! No more D&D for me - Time to make a Donut Change!
I used to work at the one in Auburndale Florida, First off the front of house is so slow that When I have down time I was generally out there doing their job. The Manager Chris, Is to busy sitting on the back door smoking and flirting with the girls working there than to do his job. The owners. Alex Sr. Alex Jr. and Randy have rights to all future Dunkin Donuts built in the county, which I don't believe is fair, But back to what I was saying. They know nothing about the business, Breaks numerous health codes, From leaving Milk sitting out from 30 minutes-1.5 hours (this is in central Florida BTW). to using outdated products, And will argue with you that you don't have to go by Use by date. Now To back of house. I went in at one. We would do round 1000 Donuts a day 1500+ on weekends. And they would sit there all day, Because they would rather sell a stale ass donut, then cook other ones. Don't let no one say they are fresh made, They come in a box and sits in a freezer sometimes up to a month! As well as ALL their products except their coffee. Go to a mom&pop bakery for better. Also on the cakes, they will do the cakes regardless of how good the cake is. They have served a Freezer burnt cakes, When they person came back to complain Alex Sr. (one of the owners) Copped an attitude with them and gave them another cake which was more freezer burnt then the last. They also own the one in Plant City Florida, I would not advise doing business with them, Or any Dunkin Donuts period!

Dear Sirs This is to tell you of a franchise owner who has a place of business which is located in front of our Mobile Home Park.We are registered with the state of New Hampshire as a resident owned community. What that means is that we as residents are completly responsible all financel dealings dealing with our operation. The road leading into our park is ours.WE pay taxes on it but your franchise operater acts as if it is a town or state road. With your delievery trucks and customers with RV"s paking all over the place many times our residents are having a hard time getting in or out of ther homes. We have written asking for a little co-operation but we are totally ignored. We are being put into a position of installing fenceing our some kind of barriers to try and protect OUR road.A little co-operation from the owner of your franchise would go a long way to resolve this problem that has been going on for a long time.Dandwtwo@roadrunner.com 603 323-7905
I've been an employee at Dunkin Donuts and I know you guys send people to each locations every once in a while, after informing someone of so. But have you guys ever thought of once or twice going in unannounced? It's ridiculous how a place performs without someone watching over. After relocating, I am no longer an employee of DD, but I am now a customer. The DD at 3544 Plank Rd, Fredericksburg, Va is the worst overall DD I've ever been in. The place is messy, slow, and customer service is plain horrible. I gave this specific location 4 tries, to have them fail each time. I ordered a sugar raised, I received plain. I ordered jelly filled to have regular sugar coating (I know that is not store policy). I order lemon filled to have absolutely no filling. I spoke to the manager, he heard me and fixed my order, but made no attempts to fix the rest of the case. Today I had gave them one more try. I left DD because they gave me the right order, but after I left the Drive-Thru. My brother touched his breakfast burrito to tell me it's cold. I felt it and it's about as cold as the temperature it is inside of the fridge. My parents are also customers of DD. They had told me they frequently have trouble with this specific DD as well. They rarely receive what they had ordered. I strongly recommend you do something about this. I'm starting to lose faith in DD.
I work in Asbury Park, NJ. There is a Dunkin Donuts on the corner of Main Street and Sunset Ave. I know they have been having some problems there and I am not sure if it is management or staff...However, they do keep changing managers in that store. Every day these young people that work in there are working their tails off and I'm still in line 4 or 5 minutes. On June 4th 2012 I had a meeting to get to I was in the Dunkin Donuts line early enough tp get there on time but 13 minutes later I got my coffee.I kind of argued with someone through the speaker on the menu board. She said there were only three of them and she was making sandwiches. I said I was sorry that I understand but now I'm late for work and when i got in this line I had plenty of time. When I got to the window the guy said that will be $7..I said I only ordered a coffee. I asked him where his manager was and he said he wasn't there and there were only 3 people to handle the line inside plus the line out in the drive in. I am really disgusted with that Dunkin Donuts store and I will not go back... I don't have the store number but as I said above it is on the corner of Main Street and Sunset Ave. in Asbury Park. You know once you are stuck in that line you can't change your mind you are STUCK! I noticed a problem with this happening a couple of weeks ago and the straw that broke the camels back was today...
When will Dunkin Donuts come to Minnesota I am tired of the crap they sell for coffee here. It should all be " American run on dunkin"
I went in and got the worst service and was threatened by maInager stating my services will not be taken and then ruined my order. the store is 562 enfield street enfield ct managers name is brian barnabei
I used to love stopping at Dunkin Donuts. The coffee was great, in summer I loved the coolatta and now I can not seem to get either at the three near my house. I can order them, but they are horrible. The people who used to be so friendly are no longer there and instead I have kids (an adults) who give me the wrong thing, get mad when I ask for the correct order and then expect a tip. What happened? I would think it was a one store issue, but as I said it happens at three different locations. Please change back, I miss going there.
May 31/2012 Today I purchased three vanilla frosties and they were horrible, just to let you know thats 3.50 X 3 = 10.50 wasted. I tasted like milk mixed with sugar, and I suggest that you pull this drink from the board. Thank you
After working for dunkin donuts for 4 years i question they're integrity and customer service goals. The fact that my store alone has to spend around 2 hours every day marking cups, giving receipts and asking customers to fill out surveys are ridiculous. Aren't companies supposed to focus on customers? not just receipts and markings on a cup? I thought it was dunkin donuts not dunkin receipts and marked cups. A new focus is neednute details like the specific order a lattee needs to be made. The best way to ensure customers come back is for accurate friendly speedy service. None of this if you mark cups and ask for surveys more people will magically come in. Where did Dunkin go wrong?
Why do we pay .40 cents for a pack of that jelly. I didn't realize that until I asked for my receipt the other day. I just wanted to inform all about this and it might not be at all DD perhaps it's just the one in Woodbridge, NJ. I said to her why didn't you tell me that it was .40 for one pack of jelly. She looked at me like I had 4 heads and didn't answer then I told her to give me back my money in which she did (no apology).
The Rutland Vermont store is making a smaller donut and with less filling, o yea and not to mention the price hasn't gone down. My last visit where i purchased 1/2 dozen donuts at this location, i found when i got home there was room to put at lease 2 more donuts in the box and not to mention there was very little cream fill in each one. Then a few days ago i stopped by to get a coffee and donuts and guess what? yup still small donuts! What's going on here dunkin donuts why is this store allowed to sell a non regulation size donut. I now remember why i don't go to this dunkin donuts store on the regular. Everywhere else in a 60 mile radius sells full size and filled donuts. I WONT GO BACK HERE UNLESS IT'S TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE SIZE OF THE DONUTS AND THE ROOM IN THE BOX FOR MORE DONUTS.
In reply to your letter of April 20, I would like to inform you that there are a number of beautiful summer cottages for sale here in Ocean City.
A new Dunkin Donuts opened on VanHouten Ave in Clifton NJ. It is so close to my house that I prefer stopping there before going into work and even have a tendency to stop there before and sometimes even after my second job since they are open 24hrs. I love coffee.I do have to say that I am very disgusted with the customer service I receive from this one night staff member. She is very unprofessional and always seems to have an "attitude" each time I go up to the drive thru at night. I have asked for a variety of different items from a Vanilla Bean collatta, a sandwich or even a donut and she tells me "nah, we dont got that". Upon one of my attempts in making an order and they not "having it", I asked her for her name as she smirked and responded, "LaToya and whatcha gonna do with it." "It don't matter, they aint gonna do nothing, "she responded. I have since taken my business to the other DD on Clifton Avenue as I am not going to continuously be told that there is not anything I ever order. I do not wish to deal with such rudeness and feel it is unnecessary as I am a loyal customer of DDs.
All the complaints about the stale donuts is true..in all of them! You see,it works like this..baker comes in at 10 o'clock at night to make donuts for tomorrow, enough for the allotted shelf time anyway and then if they run out the mang.or the shift leader makes them ,a dozen or so,untill closing so they are always fresh..WRONG!!!!! HERE IS WHAT REALLY HAPPENS..THEY LOAD UP THE AMOUNT OF DONUTS TO MAKE ON THE BAKER,YES!,EVEN IF THEY SIT OUT THERE ALL DAY AND GO STALE...WHY???????? SO THE LAZY MANAGERS DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE DONUTS DURING THE DAY..TRUTH!!!!!Tried to tell the owner, corp. and no on cares,so I quit...sorry for your stale donut, but it will happen over and over.Go somewhere like a mom and pops place...made with love!!!!!!!
We visit the dunkin donuts on Torras Causeway in Brunswick, Georgia at least 3-4 times a week. Lately, they seem to NOT have a choice of bagels, they tell us they have only blueberry or cinnamon raisin. THESE ARE NOT OUR FAVORITES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The service was ok up to about 2 weeks ago, so we have stopped going. WE LOVE DUNKIN DONUTS and really miss our morning bagels......Could you please contact this division of dunkin donuts to find out what the problem is??????????????thank you. To all the posts on lack of freshness and choice..here's why,at least in Palm Coast Florida, this is really how it is done...sorry dunkin, but the world needs to know! #1..There are NO FRESH BAKED DONUTS ANYMORE..all the donuts are trucked in frozen, ready baked and just barely in date[stale, really] #2..The "baker"..some kid in high school.comes in at 10pm and defrosts the donuts and ices and decorates them #3The donuts sit out ALL DAY untill close..if they run out?..great,thats what they want and the manager on duty is supposed to make a dozen or so more to keep them fresh, but they dont..too lazy.soooo..that is why you dont have much selection I had to quit because as a professional?..it made me sick..keep your money..spend at mom and pops...enjoy
