AWFUL COMPANY

Rude people. When you call you don't even get someone in the state you live in. Everyone tells you a different story. This company is awful and will never use directv again!!!!! Nothing but a bunch of scam artists!

Report this company to the BBB---state attorney generals office consumers complaints, FCC, try for a class action suit it only takes 6 people to get one started on what they are doing. I know I am plus posting the problem I have with them on other sites...i have the proof right in front of me of their manipulitive charges.

Its basically a rip off, channels suck options suck and no choices anymore. I am so fed up with all the providers for what you pay. You pay an insurance on equipment for what, to hear sir we cant help you , or they never show up on time. You get contractors with vans that have Directv. There is no pride in anything this country does for customer service, and Directv is one of the worst providers for customer service.

Youre just doing it wrong

My family has had Direct Tv for 8 years. Never had a problem they were not more than willing to fix. If you call and complain nicely they will fix whatever is wrong or compensate you. I lost comedy central for 2 weeks they gave me the NFL package free. I said my bill was too high they lowered it. My show did not record because of signal loss they gave me a 3 month $10 credit. Direct Tv is fine, you guys are just doing it wrong :p

Long time consumer

We have Direct Tv in our RV. We have a service contact for that system. We are having problems with that system. We tried to get to get Direct Tv to come out to where we are staying. You won't come out because we auren't home. A RV is meant to go places. Why do we play money for service on our RV system when you will only service it sits in our driveway. We have been with you for a long time. We are going to leave our company when we get home. Thanks for nothing. We will be telling everyone about this incindent.

Direct TV Lies

Have had Direct TV for almost 2 years. Called to change service. Was offered a new deal to sign up for another 2 years. I agreed to a new package,new equipment and a lower bill. Got the new equipment, but only got the lower bill for one month. Direct TV decided that they would not honor their agreement and raised my bill $35 per month. DO NOT buy Direct TV. They will lie to you and then raise your bill.

Horrible

In October I signed up for service under the assumption that I was receiving my service for an agreed upon amount. Not even two months later I saw my bill increase by $20. When I called to address the situation I was given horrible customer service. Moral of the story, if you don't like what they are doing, then tough luck because they'll do anything to avoid the problem (even hang up on you or transfer you numerous times).

does not honor incentives

worked for teleperformance for over a year and the client was directv...a month before quitting there was an abp incentive,,,for each abp sign up the employee received a 20.00 MC gift card per sign up i signed up 2 customers but was only rewarded with ONE MC gift card...im still owed a 20.00 gift card that no one wants to return my calls on this matter...it would be a shame and a waste of money to sue for a 20.00 MC gift card as it will cost me to hire an attorney,,,it would be cheaper to just honor BOTH abp sign ups not just one

After my bill continuously went up I called and the first person I talked to told me I was just an idiot and didn't know his to read my bill. The second person said I was not the first person calling about it and she could not tell me why or where my money was going... needless to say they are not getting another dime from me!

DIRECTV Deceptive Practices & Customer Apathy

We got the Genie DVR system in Dec. 2012 & had numerous problems constantly. DIRECTV said known software issues',. but sold us the system anyway without informing us. Then they raised the price of the Genie & programming while we were still having numerous problems. We spent well over 20-30 hours in phone calls & maybe 8 hours of Techs at the house. Do NOT ever use DIRECTV! They only offered a $10.00 credit for all our trouble & loss programming, etc. They sold us the system with the intent of increasing the price immediately! Extremely deceitful advertizing & company practices./

BEWARE!

There are many ways to increase your profit margin. Trying to force a new customer to pay for a previous customer's delinquent account when there is NO connection whatsoever between the two accounts, is shameful. Of course mistakes can be made, but your customer service reps were not at all interested in making sure that I was the right owner. I am committed to a 2 year contract with you and I am on my guard. I do not at all like doing business with a wolf in sheep's clothing. It would cost me hundred's of dollars to get out of this contract. So, if you are considering DirectTV and you have a choice, keep looking.

DISGUSTED

I recently called to inquire on a bill and the customer service person was very unhelpful and rude!! I then asked to talk to his supervisor and the same for him as well!!!! I am so disgusted right now...I was going to refer a few friends but not now!

Do not ever give your card information to this company. If you do, cancel in and request a new card from your bank because this company will charge it after u tell them not to. I have a lawyer investigating this company. It's a nationwide company doing fraudulent things. Wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy

A year of Hell I would give them a negative 100. They do not hold to their promises. The service is poor. After a year, they still have not gotten the bill to the promised amount. They change the channels promised. They authorize payments directly from your personal account which should be against the law. They are thieves and liars. Worst company I have seen in years. Don't take their service!

Incorrectly Billed; No Resolution

I cancelled my account in July 2012; however, DirecTV is still billing me and I do not have equipment or use their service. I returned all boxes and now they have decided to bill me for a fight I purchased in 2006. The company did not bill me; I was notified by a collections agency. Therefore, I have to pay for a 2006 fight (I had not been previously billed) in order to keep my current credit rating. I WILL NEVER USE DIRECTV AGAIN!!!

The worst company I have worked with to date.

This is a company that has its reps lie to get the customer off the phone. Run don't walk away from this company. If I could give it a negative rating I would!!!
