It's a scam!

Hidden fees, bundling department is a joke! I have still not received a bundling discount. Each bill is different and costs more than they said it would. Customer service is the worst ever! Stay away from direct tv! They should be shut down!

i dont understand

the old shows i like ...but some of your line up is just crazy and its not fair you all know we all are struggling and the cost is getting unreal what happen to making affodable i guess you like all others customers aint nothing its just a pass aby ..we already got to pay to watch tv why not keep it affodable and listen to us just once if not all of us and sports classic should be a plus

Poor Service Poor Communication

I have sat on the phone with more than one agent with DIRECTV who does not listen to what a customer is saying, They cut you off and talk over you when your asking for service. I will also file a report with the BBB

Horrible customer service

After informing Directv that we were moving they tried to charge us with $128.00 moving fee. I talked with a manager about what the charges were for. She said the tech service and a new dish. I informed her that I could move my existing dish and bring it with me to avoid the cost of a new one. She said it doesnt work like that. The managers are horrible and have no idea how to relate with the customers. I cancelled my service and will not go back. This is the third time dealing with problems with this company. Twice I reported them to the Better Business Bureau for false advertising and lying Too bad directv--Hello Dish

didn't honor price

They messed up and so we bundled with Century Link and now they are charging us the full price plus every add on possible. They want to charge us $20 a month for 19 months to cancel. Trying to sort out this mess and get it resolved. Sorry I ever got into this deal

Refund

DTV took a large amount of money from our account and we were told we would be getting a refund within 30 days as of march 6th so on April 6th we called again and were told we would have to wait another 10-15 days for it. My husband and I are both marine corps veterans and have served our country honorably and this the thanks we get from a large corporation that is supposed to be the best tv and customer service company on the market to date. We have two children and one more on the way this is horable to have to explain to them why they couldent have an Easter like they wanted because of what Direct TV has done and how they represent them self.

Direct TV is not a truthful company. I suspended my account two months ago till I got situated and now trying to reactivate my account and they are charging me 182.00 for installation when it was told to me that it would cost me nothing to re install the dish. I was lied to and dont feel that is good business. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I asked to talk to a manager and they first said there was not one there and then went on to tell me they are in a meeting on Saturday. never never again will i deal with this company/

Refusal to close an account when customer asked

Direct tv at one time was ok but the last year it been a headache with them. In march 2012 we moved planning to get electric bug the cost for that service is out of site so that made direct tv a no go. I called in march to tell them sorry but need to close the account. But I was not authorized my husband had to do it. They did not close it but put it on suspension,again we called in May the same song and dance with them and again in July and in November and in February that when he told them to shove it. That when we were informed of a two year agreement boy the two year has starched a long way. Well they started pull a dirty trick. They hit my checking account twice unauthorized basic they pull a fraud. I have been on the phone with there help desk and all I got was a run around and double talk. And I not talking about the descration from the email I revived because I was a wife I not authorized make any dedication. All I want is my money back and them to leave us alone.

OMG!!! What a freaking nightmare. dealing with direct tv can actually give you a heart attack! no one wants to take responsibility. long story short, i ordered new service in a new aptl. they decided to use someone else's personal information and after they were called out on it, they have the balls to want to charge the innocent person with an early termination fee!!!! are these people crazy? spoke with 4 people and got 4 different answers and the last woman was a nightmare and i just hung up on her.

I thought I was the only one! I have been waiting over a month to send back my drectv receiver once I cancelled my service! Directv took $578 out of my account then sent me an invoice. On top of that I received an invoice for services when my account was closed. There has been no resolution yet but I am doing everything I can to get my money back! Crooks!

This company are thieves they hacked my bank account and emptied it took almost 400.00 I don't even have direct tv I helped my daughter who had an account one time they then used my account and stole almost 400.00 dollars saying that they have the right to do it my bank says they do not have the right

Horrible liars

I got my service with them less than a year ago. I was told I was getting the whole home DVR package which I didn't get. I then called back to get the HD boxes I was told would come with my order. They only gave me one. I have not gotten any of my discounts. The customer service is horrible. The supervisors are rude and don't help either. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and tried to call corporate but can't get a person.

Customer Service is a joke.

Direct TV came to install cable with insufficient boxes. The cable tech was very rude. I asked him to wait until I contacted a manager, as I was quoted a specific price and that price should be honored. He told me he was leaving and I had to figure it out on my own. I was completely shocked. I was also not told about the hidden fees they were planning on charging me after installation. After talking to a manager who seemed like she had better things to do, I switched back to our previous cable company. I would not advise Direct TV.

changed my service

Direct TV has changed my service from premium service to family plan and increased my monthly bills without my consent. They also terminated service to one of the two recievers that were given to me. I am preparing to take them to court in the next two weeks to seek redress.

I am blown away with the FRAUD!

I have only had the service for 4-5 month and there is not ONE THING that I was told have they done as stated! I was sold on the rebates for "this and that" but it basically has ALL been lies. I have been passed off to one rep to another to another claiming to be the supervisor or person that could and would handle my issues and not one person is ABLE to provide me with the service that is needed! Please if anyone is reading this and thinking of using DirectTV avoid them at all cost. My matter is simple and it could be handled very easy but yet no one is willing to help me. Believe nothing they tell you and record every conversation you have with them because I can assure you that at some point you will be lied to and charged some amount that you were not told about or were mislead about! TOTAL FRAUD OF A COMPANY.

Going To Court

I called Directv for new services and was promised a bundle is bulls@#$$/^^&& and then claimed there were no notes on the file indicating what was promised. No worries here....I recorded the conversation with the promise, an contacting the Inspector general, the better business bureau, and blocking all my financial accounts. Corporate will be contacted to give them an opportuinity to resolve the issue and then Ill see them in coury. I'll return the equipment under oath.

Outrages Moving charges

Here is my Dilemma. I am going to have to move two more times within a year most likely. I have already had to move Once. I got charged $218 for a move already. They did help me with it by cutting it in half but refuse to help with the future moves because I have not been a customer for a year. The scam is , once you move they claim its from your last install date. So the year starts over. It basically doesn't matter that I will be a customer for a year on July 7th 2013. They go from the last install date. So here is the other catcher. It will cost me $420 to get out of the contract which is ..check this.. CHEAPER than having to move twice ($436). I dont think I will be keeping this service.This company is backwards. Non empathetic and not willing to help. Dish Network here I come

Complaint

Not only is this company fraudulent, but one of their technicians that came to my home is a crook. He hooked up DirectTV equipment to my Comcast internet service and was hacking my computer. He also disables my surveillance cameras and turns the electricity on and off in my family room. Now he has been intercepting and blocking my calls on my cell phone. This man is my neighbor and DirectTV claims he is not their employee yet he has Direct TV identification. I wrote a three page letter to the CEO of Direct TV in February and so far have not had any response from him.

FRAUDULANT Company

Do not do business with this company. They will charge you for services you did not order, they will charge you for services you do not receive and when you call to complain they will claim they are powerless to help. If you don't pay they will steal the money from any credit card or bank account they have access to. They are the worst, most fraudulant dishonest company I have ever made the mistake of doing business with.

Awful

Cancelled service almost a year ago with total bill paid in full, and was told as such. Got a bill saying the charges were from 5 years ago ! Are you Kidding me. Was then told all charges were void, but 2 months later was turned over to collections. I am going to a Lawyer !
