I'm a customer with Direct Tv....not for long..... I have been waiting over a month for a refund that I was told would be back on my credit card 3-5 business days. I have called in over 5 times since that refund was suppose to go back on my card and have been told by 5 different people, one including a supervisor, different things. They keep telling me that i have to wait 10 more days and then 10 more days and then 5 more days and not to mention they keep deducting money off of my refund because they say its taking my monthly bill off of my refund. Well NO WAY in a month have I had a bill that was over $200.00. Direct TV is a scamming company that only wants your money, they are quick to take it, but take FOREVER, if ever even comes, to refund you your money.

Working for directv is a disgrace the supervisors are very unprofessional lakima hill shows favoritism she lets certain people incent if they split the money with her she also lets those same certain people leave w/o clocking out she has her cell phone on the floor she gives representives pto hours when they do not have any 4 pto hours are given every pay period & for the tenured people 6 hours are supposed to be given she talks about other sups to the reps on her team kenyaka Hendricks is very unprofessional she plays provocative music on the production floor she comes to work smelling like weed she discusses her personal life I. The production floor about she is cheating on her husband Vanessie elms passes out food on let's certain reps have cell phones on the floor makes personal phone calls on the directv phone she is very nasty to the representatives artel bellman is very disrespectful & rude his staff he talks to them like they have no common sense when reps have issues & try to talk with him he is not interested he has a very nonchalant attitude someone needs to come to the directv in Montgomery al ASAP
I am so disappointed in the help that wasnt recieved from customer service. I have talked with 4 different agents and 2 supervisors and they were unable to help me. They also all gave me diffrent information. The only thing that I got out of them was give me more money. I already pay for NFL package and all the premiun channels, and have been with them for years. They were not helpful at all. The agents need to better trained and policies should be different. One did not want to let me spak with a supervisor and then the supervisor told me she sis not have the corp number. I found the number online so their is noway that she she sis not have it. Customer service was horrible.
The service I received from Direct TV was unacceptable. I have been a loyal customer for 4 years. They did not fix my problem. Did not offer a solution. Did not connect me with corporate. The list can go on and on, but for a company that promises a great customer experience, I can officially say, they failed on their promise.
I tried to deal with directv when their service and installation was terrible. I recieved the brush off. They told me that all conversations are recorded. When they said that they reviewed them, it was always in their favor and not what was agreed upon in the conversation. I asked for arbitration and they billed my bank account for 407.00,the agreement. No notifacation. They lie and I never had one day of complete service. Rip off.
Bad Customer Service
I was talking to a supervisor who really didn't have a clue. When I asked to speak with someone higher she told me that she was the highest there and there was no one to transfer me to when I said she's a liar and was going to call corporate magically some one higher appeared and I was transferred. I call corp and finally got it all straightened out. I shouldn't have to do that. Not happy been with them for 7 years.
Sometimes, it DOES work!
After multiple attempts contacting DirecTV, I did call this number and asked to speak to the Office of the President. I spoke with very nice woman who DID UNDERSTAND my concern and was able to credit my bill and permanently fix the situation. If you have not tried speaking to this group of individuals at DirecTV Corporate, I highly recommend it!
Corporate Thieves
The story is just too long to tell. I canceled after 3 weeks and WILL NOT PAY THEM a disconnect fee. They are complete liars and they will take money from your credit card or bank account without your permission (unless you cancel your card like I did). Ever wonder about those high CEO bonuses. Consider this, if Direct TV has 20 million customers, and they manage to charge each one $29.99 for just ONE month for something they did not order, they have netted their company, they have raked in 599 million dollars for one dishonest charge. Their employees are TRAINED to steal your money. They are liars and thieves.
CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS
I have had horrible service with this company. Just like others that have posted their feelings about the run around they have received, DTV in my opinion is out to make a quick buck regardless if their actions are wrong. I'm still waiting for a refund, its been a month. They are quick to take a thousand out of my bank but refunds, that takes a month or so to get. DTV is terrible with customer service I think it's a shame to ignore the people (customers) that pay your bills.
DirecTV is EVIL
Greedy, evil corporation. Cancelled my service and they will NOT send me a refund check. Get the run around, operators/customer service reps in India, Phillipines, etc. Disconnected, can't speak clear English. What a racket, what a scam.
non working dvr
This began with a DVR that was rebooting every 30 minutes, losing10 to 12 minuts of the program each time. After 3 calls to the help line, the agent told me they would replace the 11 year old unit. After much discussion and canceling the account, the sales rep called back with an offer of upgrade and discounts. This "deal" included new installation for two more tv'splus new boxes to replace the existing 11 year old ones. Two technitions have come to install only ttttttttthree boxes, two new ones and a HD one. They refuse to replace the unit that was malfunctioning in the forst place. THis has gone on for 7 days. They don't know what the other people are saying.
worst ever
2 days into my contract and am already fed up with there service....NEVER AGAIN
Direct TV has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with !! How we've been a customer for over 15 years is beyond me. I have waited for a tech guy to show up for two different appointment dates which he neither called or showed up :( called direct tv and have been put on hold for now about 45 min. I now am waiting on a superviser who has also put me on hold for 10 min. Wow all I want is an upgrade, my bill will be going up so you would think they would work with me I need a new company I would rate them - stars if that had been an option

In the last 18 hours I have talked to 15 different people and I have been charged 3X for the s&h charge for the equipment. We don't have to pay a deposit. But sounds like I will probably never see 2 charges refunded. I AM calling corporate Monday, and I will not rest til I talk to the CEO. These reviews along with my experience is unacceptable for what they charge for their service. If you have the option, think hard before getting Dtv!

saying goodbye?
We have been with Direct TV for about 10 years as a loyal, paid on time customer. Recently my package has jumped $10.00 due to the fact that I was mislead about the agreements over the phone with one of your employees over a year ago. I already had my packaged reduced back then and was paying $73.00. I would have to reduce it by removing 18 more channels for the same rate. Not to mention the fact the many interuptions we get from a bad signal. I don't understand how you can treat your loyal customers who have been with you for so many years? We are seriously thinking about saying goodbye and moving on to Dish Network. Perhaps they may value their customers there. I just wanted to let you know how we felt, as a corporation I would think you would like to hear from your long time customers no matter positive or negitive feedback.
Had money problems due to our new born needing open heart surgery. We had to cancel our cable due to it not being a necessary thing. We were then informed that we were in a 2 year agreement with them and we were going to be charged an early termination fee. We have asked three times to have it waved. They now have sent it to collections and refuse to adjust anything unless we pay the balance after they wave it and turn service back on. We are in financial burden. Our child is almost 2 and had open heart surgery at 4 days old, a second one at 8 months old and he needs a third one next year. Why can't they give someone a break. Why am I being told I can have it waved now all the sudden I can't. BUNCH OF CROOKS and LIARS!

I cancelled my service because the monthly rate kept getting higher and higher and higher. They were charging me $140 a MONTH! So, when I called to cancel, the foreign "agent" told me they were going to take the remaining balance from my card on file. I explained to him, that they were NOT authorized to do so. Three weeks later I get a lovely surprise from my bank. Not only did they take out the funds, but it caused my account to overdraw. Now, I have all sorts of problems with my bank and other institutions I deal with. These people are flat out CRIMINAL!!!!!!!
Poor Documentation
2cnd consecutive month they have overbilled me. Problem with DTV is they have poor documentation so when you have the same billing problem occur, the International Rep you end up speaking has no record to look at. In good faith I remained in auto Pay But at this point, I am no longer comfortable with Auto Pay. Will most likely file a BBB Complaint (or local attorney general's office) since DTV is overbilling me. I really dont know how these people get away with this
Directv charged me for equipment fees when their tech picked up the equipment a month before. Now they won't give me the money back they are going to use it for next months bill that has equipment fee charges on it as well. When I call I was told 48 hours nothing happened then today I was told 5 days I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said 30 days. I would recommend noone to get directv. I also filled out the survey it asked if I wanted someone to contact me about this problem and I have never recieved a phone call.
