I love shopping at Dick's Sporting Goods. The staff is always willing to go the extra mile for me which I truly appreciate. As long as they keep this up they will have my business for years to come.

I ordered a North face for my son for Christmas, they cancelled my order 2 days before Christmas, because of an error on their site, that's not my problem, and I think they should've given me the coat for the price posted on the site. Instead they on gave me 25% off my next order. Now, I dont have a present for my son on Christmas,Not a happy camper right now!
DIcks uses UPS for delivery. UPS would not take the box to the door even though UPS delivers to the address to which I directed the gift. Instead they dropped it at a post office - totally inconvenient for sending gift.
Went into the Kenosha WI store over off H. Went inside looking to buy baseball bat for my son. Nobody was around to help me what so ever.. And I saw that the manager was standing not to far away. Btw he could clearly see I was having troubles. He approached me 10 mins later asking if I was doing alright. But he was very rude. Never shopping at dicks again
No Call back. Discrimination?
Went to purchase a deer rifle from Dick's Sporting Goods in Ridgeland, MS. Was told the rifle was put on hold until a background check was completed. I carry a concealed weapons permit and also completed my hunters education course. It has been 8 days now since trying to buy the rifle. No call from Dick's. My only thoughts are I was born abroad on a U.S. Naval base and I happen to be half white and half filipino. Business practice with Dick's is unnacceptable.
Pissed off customer
Went to use a coupon that I received in the mail as a "valued" dicks customer. The coupon was for 10, 20 or 50 off hunting apparel and archery supplies. I purchased hunting boots for my son, only yo be told by the cashier that "footwear" doesn't count as apparel for use of the coupon. I found this funny because I purchased them in the department labeled " hunting and fishing apparel" that's just fine Dicks, I will now shop at Dunhams or Gander Mountain when I need sporting goods! So much for being a valued customer!!
If your going to give a break by spending a 100.00$ online and receiving 20$ off why not make it clear on specific items instead of having to call to find out. That is very unprofessional. I think they could of done things a little better instead of placing the order and then finding out not good..
I find it amazing that one of the major corporate sponsors for the 2014 U S Open gold tournament @ Pinehurst does NOT have any U S Open golf shirts in any of their retail stores or online for purchase.

Biloxi Store is being unfair to military who work for them
They reduce your hours to one day a week hoping you will quit. Instead of giving more hours to someone who is on time and can be trusted, they do not treat the military people who work for them with any respect for the uniform they wear to protect our country
I was in the Huntington store buying two softball bats. When they rang them up one of them was missed marked and they would not honor the price. I understand that Dicks is a a large corporate store but you just lost over a $500 sale between batting gloves ,under armor and to softball bats. I was told they do not have to honor their mistake.
I have been purchasing supplies from your Sawmill rd, Columbus, Ohio locating for years. My last 2 times I have dealt with the manager who seems to enjoy hanging up the phone on people we asked a difficult question. I will take my business to Cabela's from here on out.

I ordered something for my brother, for Christmas, 12/3 - I thought early enough to be here for Christmas.- WRONG !! I called 2 weeks later, Customer service said they would over-night it. 4 DAYS later, I called again, a manager, nick, said he was Very sorry and GUARENTEED it would be here AFTER Christmas!! WAHT!!! ordered it early enough 4 Christmas. Well, its AFTER Christmas and still DINT get it. Liars, Liars, Liars. Waist of time and Money!!!!
The absolute worse costumer service I have ever had! The mall in Merrillville, Indiana! The manager so much went as far as laughed in my face when I tried to exchange a Norface jacket for a larger size. Not only did he laugh but spoke so loud and drew so much attention I walked out just so everyone would stop looking at me. NEVER will I be caught dead in that store again!
I received a an electric fireplace as a gift my parents had bought in Birmingham, AL. From the looks of the box the item had been repackaged and not been marked down from its original price. When I got the present home half of the bottom was missing and the piece was not in the box which tells me they knew the item was damaged and repacked it anyways in hopes to sell it for full price and rip someone off. I will not shop there again after I exchange my gift.
