Dell Desk CSR

I brought a dell less than even a year ago and I call to have my password reset due to virus. I spoke with six different people for about 2 hours and all they wanted to do was sell me a software for over 200.00 dollars. I have had different computers from other company and did not have so many problems with such a small request. I hope that the Headquarters are reading these comments and fix their CSR and provide better service and start fixing problems. My computer is still under warrenty and the want more money. My sister told me not to buy from QVC for a Dell computer. She paid over 2000.00 had a problem with logging in and did not fix it and did not seems all Cd nor manual for instructions. This a rip off. Please no one buy this type of computer. I lost over 1500.00 due to Dell

Worse company ever, Horrible customer service. Sold a laptop that has parts that eventually get damage due to wear and tear and the parts are not available on the market. My order # 343206633. Hard to believe but is true

the world suggested not to buy a Dell computer. As a 20 year Dell customer i went against the advise of children and friends and stuck with Dell. what a mistake. It never worked, and after spending countless hours talking to India and even having someone come to my home it still is not working. by now Dell is blaming Microsoft and Microsoft does not want to know. Customer service is worse and worse, combined with a lousy laptop, i am deeply regretting this purchase. DELL HELL, i will not ever purchase a Dell computer again and can only warn you not to make this TERRIBLE mistake

tech support

I brought a dell computer about three years ago and i had a choice i could have xp or windows 7. now i brought a new computer and it has windows 8 on it i was told that i do not have a choice what system i can have. your tec support people told me that i have to have windows 8 . so if i have to have windows 8 on it i will be retuning this computer and i will buy a computer from another company that will give me a choice. i will never buy a dell computer again if i have to have the system that i do not want.

Owners Manual

This is a sad state of affairs when you don't get a owners manual with you new dell computer, which I just bought today. I can't even get the tray to open to down load some games. Why isn't there a owners manual with the computer to tell you how to operate the computer? And it coming with Windows 8, a other problem. I have a external hard drive, now I lost all of my pictures, because I can't access it. Way to go Dell and Microsoft.

I thought I was upgrading to a better computer, Dell, the worst computer we ever owned. Customer service unable to fix issues which have manifested since purchase. Will never buy another Dell. Lemon!!!!

Horrible Customer Service

I have always purchased dells but never had to call for support. Well the first time I call to have service done on the computer I was charged a flat fee to get it fixed, I then get an email saying I need to pay an additional $200 to get it fixed now. After explaining the issue multiple times, and being assured it would be covered for the initial price of $180. DO NOT TRUST DELL TECH SUPPORT!!!!!

Horrible Customer Service

I bought a Dell PC a few months ago. The computer has issues and I lost programs like internet explorer, downloader, start programs. My computer came with nothing but a driver disk! I used the same windows disk and did an upgrade. Now Microsoft is saying I don't have real windows. Even using the product key off my computer! The computer still has issues. Walmart won't help me and Dell doesn't answer phone calls, or contact me back! What am I suppose to do?

No Parts Support

USELESS! All I wanted to do was order a new USB port for one I damaged. Searched the website for 30 minutes with no result. Calling tech support was an even bigger nightmare. 2 hours on the phone with NO RESULTS! All I got was a hassle about how my computer was no longer in warranty & the damage wasn't covered under warranty. I didn't want it covered, I just wanted to buy a replacement part for the one I damaged. How hard can that be to understand? I used to be a loyal Dell consumer, but this will be my last Dell product!

what has happened to Dell

Looks like I am not alone in the dissapointment department. Inspirion M5030 has benn worked on five time since we recieved it and four times in the past 2 months! Warraty is up in a week. Just got it back and still not fixed. I can not understand anyone I speak to and have to ask them to repeat what they say over and over. I asked for a new lap top on the fith time I called tech support. Dell could have saved money sending me a new computer. Not sure that I want anything from Dell again. Very dissstified and dissapointed......Not sure they care!!!

Total Disappointment

I've used Dell products for more than 20 years - it is the only brand of home desktop that I have ever owned and have always had a good product and helpful assistance. That certainly has changed since I bought my last Dell. I purchased an Inspiron All In One on November 25, 2012 which was supposed to be shipped 11/27/2012 and I did not get delivery until Dec. 22, 2012. Tracking the delivery through the customer care call center was a nightmare and an excercise in futility It was very clear that they had no idea where the copmuter was, where it was in the process of being built or for delivery. In December when I called I was still being told it was shipped . Forutnately I opted to purchase the in home service package because shortly after receipt of the computer,in trying to insert a cord in the back, the computer became unbalanced and tipped over cracking the edge of the glass. My first service call was scheduled for 1/ 18 and after 4 scheduled service calls the tech finally received all the necessary parts and fixed that today only to find that the computer screen will now not light up even though it is powered up. Need I say more????

Worst Computer Company Ever

This has got to be the worst experience that I have ever had with any product/company that I have ever had the displeasure of coming into contact with. First the computers tank, never buy one. They become riddled with problems and don't think that calling will help. The person that you talk to won't speak very good english, it won't be the right person, and they won't transfer you to the person that you need. Instead you'll get transferred and have to wait on average 10 minutes before they answer the phone to tell you that the have to transfer you to someone else. This is not a good customer experience. I will never shop Dell again, and you shouldn't either. Shame on you Dell. I can't use the F word, but I will say this: I hope all of you owners, CEOs, and upper managment go sterile (as to not pass on your deficient genes to the next genration), go bankrupt, and die of ebola.

POOR PRODUCT, POOR SERVICE

Don't waste your money on a Dell, as many other reviewer have said, you will end up with a paper weight. I mistakenly purchased Dell a second time and what a mistake. Not only is it malfunctioning in under a year but calling to get help will only waste your minutes and time and elevate your blood pressure. they cannot help and after hours, you will just give up without any resolution. they are not interested in solving problems just using their scripts in India to pass the call on. what a huge dissappointment and a waste of my hard earned money. i won't make this mistake again. Dell has failed to provide a good product and there are many better ones to purchase.

What is wrong with you

I email you 6 weeks because a charge acct was opened without my consent and a laptop and printer was charged to it an shipped based on a quote and without consent to open a charge acct. I never saw my posted on this board ( maybe because its illegal) I order another one and I am sent the wrong machine- I was order with a web cam- not web cam but got the microphone, I am done with you . Lets see if you post this

Disappointment

I must admit that I thought Dell was a wondrful company. How wrong was I. I bought a new Inspiron 660, and it won't work with my Eposon Stylus Photo R200 printer. The computer sees the printer but I can not print to it. After call Epson and eventually being told it was a computer issue, I called Dell, I got moved around to different areas for over 2.5 hours and still could not get the issue fixed. I am currently on hold to speak to a manager although I don't think that will d any good. Right knowig what I know about Dell, if I had to do it all over again I woulfd never buy a Dell. And I will tell all of my fasebook friends to spread the work, Dell and epecially Dell support is the worst. And they put an operating system on there computers that they can not support.

laptop repair

I think that dell should refigure there tech support for spent almost 1 hour waiting for help got alot of run around. sent computer to dell for repair and they didnt install all programs and now getting a run around to get it repaired. will never buy another dell for product is good but tech support is horrible

Lemon gift to son for Xmas

Horrible experience.......is there anyone in the United States that can help me with this simple computer? wow, glad Apple built a store close to town...Because I now have a $412.00 paper weight. How many times can a person be transferred without any real help before they go nuts? Really Dell get your help dept. together!

Support has been great, solved any and every problem I have had. Tremendous improvement over my former computer purchased from another manufacture. Made recommendations for software which addresses my concerns over security and the day to day operation. I use my laptop for photo work and ham radio digital programs. Some of these programs do not play well with windows. Dell support helped me work out the kinks.

Tech Support

I have had nothing but trouble with my Dell Computer. I have sent it in to be fixed, I have had a tech come to my house. I have sat on the phone for hours with tech support. I have been having trouble with my computer since the middle of Dec. I have been transferred from hardware to software so many times I lost count. I have talked to supervisers and customer care. I still don't have my computer fixed and it is the middle of Jan. I will never buy another Dell computer. I have a call into the corporate office I have had enough. I keep buying the service contracts because I paid so much for my computer.
