We visited your store several times in New Stanton, Penna. On March 2nd my wife and I were seated close to the glowing fire and inbetween myself and the bright fire were some women who were just shadows because of the brightness of the fire. The waitress accused me of staring at the woman who was seated directly in fromt of the fireplace. I am 75 years old and have been married for 53 years to my beautiful and loving wife. I tried to explain to the waitress that my interest was only in the glowing beauty of the fire which was in vain. To treat a senior citizen this way was discusting to say the least. We will not return!!!!!
I am sure you are unaware that this situation is happening in your Paducah, KY store on Hinkleville rd. Christina Morrison an employee of this store has been buying drugs from other employees in the store. Pain pills, etc. She is a very poor employee and I will no longer eat their.
Campfire grill had it. It was great. You dont offer it any more. Why not.
GEt OVER IT......Bunch of winers. Move to another country. an c what u get.
I have eaten at many Cracker Barrel restaurants and have never had a bad meal or service until last Friday at the Plymouth Meeting, PA, restaurant. My cousin and I went there for breakfast. It took over 20 minutes to get our food since our waitress (employee #449) was constantly socializing with another employee and even sat down at a table. How can you ruin a cheese omelet? By serving it with some of the eggs running and - where is the cheese? I opened it up and just a very small portion of cheese on one end. I sent my breakfast back and didn't have time to wait for a replacement. My cousin's sausage patties were horrible. And, no apology from the waitress. If I am ever in that area again, I will certainly not eat there. Very disappointed from a loyal customer
We stopped at the Cracker Barrel in Sulphur, LA. on a Wednesday nite. I was told there were no Chicken Pot Pies after 4 pm, there were no old fashion lemon aid, and no straws. Wow whoever orders really dropped the ball. I would like to bring to anyone's attention that your Chicken Pot Pies are a big hit and you are loosing money on that. The one thing that bothered me the most was a male in his 30's grabbing a waitress in the doorway. This is so wrong on so many levels. He was in a white shirt and brown pants. I would love to travel to your stores and be your eyes. You would not believe how the waitress treat the customers and the asst managers flirt.
Could not figure out where to contact you about your chocolate cobbler. I have been asking about it every since you took it off of your menu some 5t years ago. It was my all time favorite dessert and then it was just gone. I know several people who have been asking the same thing, when are you bringing it back to the menu?
went to the cracker barrel in gadsden,al! it was not a great experience! the sever was very rude! couldn't get order right an food was cold when it arrived! the server's name said darrious on his appron! put it this way, will NEVER be back!
Reply to F Kemp: Do you realize waitresses depend on tips and if their tables are held up for hours with no one eating, just sitting there waiting, they have no income. I`m glad they enforced the rule, especially with Mother`s Day the following Sunday.
While visiting family in Boone, NC, we treated them to dinner at your newly opened location there, as they had not had the opportunity to eat there yet nor had they eaten at any Cracker Barrel. They had an enjoyable experience but I was the one most impressed. As we waited for our table, I browsed the store, as I always enjoy doing. I was approached by 2 associates asking if I was finding things I liked or speaking specifically about a product I was eyeing. I did find an item i wished to purchase and was searching for the desired size when a 3rd associate was there to assist me. She suggested she look in the back room inventory for the size while I joined my family for dinner and leave it at checkout. The size needed was not in the store but she offered to call other locations for me. Since I was traveling home the next day, I wanted to call locations myself and stop on route to obtain the item. She quickly provided a location map. Satisfied with the help I had received, I lingered, waiting while my family finished shopping. As I waited, I was approached by one more associate. This was Mr. Hill, the Retail Mgr. I explained my situation and the resolution we had come up with. He wanted to do more. Because the item was on sale (the sale date ending the next day) and was a product sold regionally in the "mountain" retail stores, he thought my chances of locating the item on my route back to Atlanta might be slim. It took him just a few minutes to locate the item at another Cracker Barrel location. I paid for it before I left the store and I received the item at my home 7 business days later. Mr. Hill obviously leads by example as was proven by all the retail staff that offered their assistance. Great customer service. Thank you, Mr. Hill.
5/19/12 We live by the Cracker Barrel in Londonderry NH and after our last experience we will never return. Our daughter was with us for dinner last Friday and we all ordered the haddock and mashed potatoes. She found a roach in the mashed potatoes. The waitress brought the plate to the manager and he came to the table and said it was a spoiled potato. He offered another "side" and never took her meal and examined it, he said he would look at it later. We never had the meal deducted from the bill and no other apology. Needless to say, we will never go back to that location. Your manager was new and has a lot to learn!!
I have been working in the Madison al cracker since 2008 and we got a new GM here recently and needless to say he is a moron who don't know crap about a restaurant I've seen him fire a employee who had been with the company for 13yrsnot and didn't miss a day in 3yrsmy while all the little dope heads that calls out all the time keep there jobs and the rest of the managers are a joke the only good that they have is a guy named ken the GM put a no rehire on a guy who turned in his notice and wads willing to work it outand and oh yeah did I mention that the DM is a dumbass to and a bunch of over paid idiots make all the decisions while the employee gets screwed without the lube so what's I'm saying is Crackerbarrel blows and needs to get there head out there ass and if you enjoy working there your a dumbass to
The Cross Lanes Cracker Barrel's new manager is the worst that has ever been there. Several people from our Church 7-15 of us usually go out to brunch after the morning service, we are at the restaurant around 10:45 a.m. 7 of us went to Cracker Barrel for lunch after church on Sunday May 6,2012. Normally several go and get a table and wait for the others - we only have to wait for 5-10 minutes after we are seated before the rest of our party arrives. HOWEVER this time we were told that they no longer seat the party until everyone has arrived at the restaurant and to let them know when everyone was there and our table would be ready shortly. The hostess told us that they started this policy today (May 6, 2012) on all parties over 4 people. So when our party arrived (10 minutes later) we told the hostess everyone in our party had arrived. We waited an additional hour (1 hour) before we were seated and watched four other parties of 8 be seated before we were. These people just walked in and were seated immediately. We told the hostess and she kept assuring us we would be seated next.. after 54 minutes we were... When we spoke to the manager said that it was the policy all the time and he just began enforcing what was already in place and had never been enforced at that location before and that we would have to deal with it. It isn't fair to the other people who are waiting for them to hold large tables for people who may or may not show up. Why did we have to wait while other parties larger than ours were seated before we were? We will never know, because the manager had other important things to deal with and couldnt spend any time at our table to discuss it. what should have been a 1 hour lunch turned into a 3 hour lunch. Our group will never eat there again.
On Mothers Day 05/13/2012 my son and his family invited me for brunch at the Mallory Lane, Cool Springs Cracker Barrel.Since I love Cracker Barrel and have been a loyal customer since the first one opened on Hwy.109 in the 1960's. I must say after this experience with mgr. Eric I will probably never visit another Cracker Barrel. I have never met anyone so rude and professional in my life. I think Cracker Barrel should be more diligent in their manager selection.
Would certainly like to see items in your gift shop that are made in the USA.
My family and I decided that we would eat at the Cracker Barrel in Pelham, Alabama on highway 119. There were several people ahead of us. It was about 6pm on a Sunday evening and we were a party of seven. The two parties ahead of us were seated which was correct. Then they skipped over us an took a five and several two parties. Then they skipped us to take a ten party. I asked the hostess why we were not seated and she said, "We didn't have a table." I pointed to two tables that the ten party took and said,"You could have turned those tables around and we could have been seated. I asked her to take our name off the waiting list. I asked a lady from the gift shop for some comment cards and she said they did not have any. I told her the problem and she said,"I'll get one of the managers." When she came back she had a man who had been working the hostess desk with the young lady that I had spoken to earlier. I told the lady from the gift shop that the man she got to help me was part of the problem. He was nice and told me that he would seat us now. If they could not seat us before how was he going to seat us so expeditiously now?
While traveling a couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of stopping at your Cracker Barrel restaurant in Lebanon, Tennessee. The shop was awsome and everyone working there was very helpful. I especially want to thank the retail store manager, Ms. Emily Van Winkle, for her professional attitude and assistance in helping me purchase several pieces of merchandise. This was my first experience with shoping there but I can tell you it won't be my last. I live in California and we do not have a Cracker Barrel here, but I hope you will consider branching out here, and bringing employees like Emily with you.
Your new manager in Traverse City Michigan is harsh and unkind!! She fired a new employee, a young woman today for a ridiculous complaint and accused her of not being committed to her job, with no discussion, no courtesy, and not based on truth or an important criticism by a long shot! A wrinkled uniform!! Come On!! She was called at 4AM to come in in 2 hours!! Who did you send up here to mange your restaurant? She is not our kind and we will be telling everyone we know NOT to ever eat at the TC location, because of this totally unfair judgement call on her part. That is no way to start off in a place like TC! Word gets around fast and we will make sure that everyone knows to Boycott you because of it!! We used to love Cracker Barrel, NO MORE!!
Nashville Tn by opryland has a very confused manager. There was a now hiring sign up so i went in and applyed. She had told me they were hiring and interview me on the spot i filled out all the paperwork they needed and was told she would let me know when i could start. Well that was the last time i heard from her i called several times doing a follow up, 1 month later she returned my call and said they had already hired someone before i had applyed and was sorry for my inconviece.
Had a very bad experience and need to get a hold of the head of cracker barrel, please contact us..thank you
