I have been waiting for a eight by ten photo for 2.5 hours. I was told one hour but because of Christmas cards I had to wait. I was neither page or told that it would take that long. I needed to take this downtown time sensitive of course now I can't go any where else I must pick my children up at school. Customer service sucks.

I recently returned a Canon $1000 Camera to Danville Costco, I knew it was more than 90 days old and would of been happy with a repair which I would have gladly paid for,Instead they insisted that camera was not purchased there because they could not find in thier flawed system ( i purchased with my Costco AMEX card) I have bought many computers and TV's printers,Hot Tub, etc from this Costco only to be treated like a fraud? The manager was very rude and disrespectful! I will never purchase another product from there and encourage all others to beware! Costco's customer service policy has changed dramaticly and cant believe they would hire managers of that caliber!

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDEST, INEPT THUGS THAT RUN AROUND ON THEIR "FORKLIFTS" HONKING LIKE THEIR BAD BOYS ON THEIR MOTOR CYCLES. RUDE TO CUSTOMERS AND VENDORS ALIKE. YOU REALLY NEED TO GET YOUR HANDLE ON THIS. AND YOU NEVER FIND A SERVICE REP ON THE FLOOR TO DIRECT CUSTOMERS TO "MERCHANDISE". SO IT'S SELF SERVE. WHERE ARE THE SIGNS? WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF THE ARROGANT, CHILDISH ATTITUDE OF THE COSTCO EMPLOYEES INCLUDING YOUR GENERAL MANAGERS AT LOCATIONS!

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO COSTO FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND NEVER FELT DISCRIMINATED LIKE I DID. I ALWAYS SPEND OVER 600.00 OR MORE IN THAT STORE AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. THEY MADE A MISTAKE OF MISPRICING SOME LOBSTER TAILS AND THEN ASK ME IF THAT WAS MY MEMBERSHIP CARD THAT IS WAS USING WHICH ALL THE CARDS HAVE THE PICTURE ON THE BACK OF THEM. THEN I HAD MY SISTER THERE TO HELP ME CAUSE I HAD SO MUCH STUFF, HE EVEN ASSULTED HER TELLIN HER THAT SHE COULD NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING CAUSE SHE DIDNT HAVE A CARD BUT IT WAS MY GROCERIES, MY FEELING WAS HURT SO BADLY I WANTED TO TELL THEM I DID'NT WANT TO SPEND NONE OF MY MONEY IN THAT STORE BUT I NEEDED THOSE THINGS. I WONT BE GOING BACK FOR A WHILE TO COSTCO UNTIL THEY TRAIN THERE EMPLOYEES HOW TO TREAT A CUSTOMER...ALSO I PAID TO SHOP THERE AND PAID FOR THE EMPLOYERS TO WORK THERE... I DESEVERED TO BE RESPECTED.....

I usually am a big fan of Costco but I have concerns when I learned that they use sales receipts that contain high amounts of BPA and it can be absorbed through skin. There have been reports of this concern in the news in the last few months (check Google). There is a safer alternative to use from a company called Appleton. I am trying to contact them to use the safer product but they connected me to the warehouse and then to voice mail boxes and not a person.

Seasonal Help Hiring Practices Being one of many millions of the jobless due to the economic downturn, I applied for a seasonal position at a Costco Store in Gilbert, AZ i.e. the Market Street location to be exact. I was contacted and arrived for my first interview, then I was contacted for my second interview and provided all the necessary information for a criminal background check. I was called the following week and was told that they had all the help that they needed and were sorry, but I would remain at the top of their list in the event anything had changed. A week and a half later I was telephoned and was told to come in for a drug screening (keeping in mind that I do NOT use drugs nor have I ever been in trouble with the law)so clear sailing, right? WRONG! I was again contacted and was told to arrive at this date and time for new hire training. I'm sitting there waiting and waiting, the assistant store manager whom I had interviewed with previously walks up to me and says Hi Tom, didn't anyone contact you? I replied no....why? He stated that business wasn't what they had expected and will not be hiring anymore additional staff! Now keep in mind, I have been there no less than four times, traveled 30 minutes each time, waited to be interviewed and was totally run around. I had assumed that Costco was a "class act" and one of the better run retailers.........seems they leave allot to be desired in business and hiring practices! Now its the first week in December and I cannot possibly be considered for another seasonal job because of the long period of time they lead me through this wild goose chase.

They are sooooooo rude! I went in trying to buy a t.v. ps3 and surround sound and Carl the manager wouldn't give me $100 off! I guess Costco doesn't care if they lose customers. I'm going to sams club! Chicago, Il. Location on clybourn.

Being a member since 1988, spending a lot of money with Costco. For the past sevveral years I had my tires mounted changed and balanced there. Went there today and was told that since the tires were not bought through them, they can not help me. Well, to me that is the poorest customer service an organization can offer. Shame on you. If you would have carried the size and type of tires that I needed, I would have purchased through you. I was told you did not and left it at that. Now the guy tells me that they could have ordered them. So who to believe? This guy thinks he is the king of all and the customers are nothing, this is how I felt, humiliated in front of other customers this is not how you uphold custome relation ships and treat a loyal customer. I took my vehicle 1 block over and they gladly assisted me, no questions asked. So sad day for Costco... You lost my business and perhaps more to come.

Why repackage perfectly good Kirkland Kleenex? Have you tried the new box? It takes 2 plus hands to get the first 50-60 sheets out. Not what you want with a cold or sudden sneeze. The first dozen or more sheets come out in skinny shreds. After years of purchasing I won't again. I tossed the remaining boxes and bought regular grocery brand. As to the rest of Costco - BRAVO!

Costcos cater their merchandise to the markets they're in. All of you with food stamps should get jobs and learn how to spell. At least use spell check on your computer!! Food stamps should be for the elderly and handicapped, not illiterate people who want to use them to buy cigarettes and junk food. You are using tax payers money.

Costco's in Matthews NC is more concerned with having a good worker, then the safety of their members that this employee is harassing on their property. They clearly have all of the evidence they need on the video cameras, but refuse to investigate the harassment unless one of the three parties involved come forward with their statement.They have the statement from the victim and the perpatrator, as well as the video tape, but they refuse to do anything about it. He has researched my address and showed up at my home and has constantly called my home from Costco and they CONTINUOUSLY PROTECT THIS CRAZY EMPLOYEE. DON'T GO TO MATTHEWS, NC LOCATION, BECAUSE THIS EMPLOYEE IS FROM AFRICA AND HE IS NOT UNDERSTANDING THAT NOT INTERESTED MEANS GET THE HELL ON.

On March 30, 2008, we purchased a Sony KDL46VL130 46" 1080 television from the Smokey Point Costco store. The picture went out on it and we contacted Sony. We had one of their approved service providers come out and look at it and tell us what was wrong and give us an estimate that it would cost to fix it. The estimate was $1.500.00 to fix the television. The technician said the mother board had gone out. Sony said their warranty expired a few days before we called. Costco Concierge is trying to figure out what to do, but has no clue. Grant, the front end manager, at the Smokey Point Costco store was arrogant and offensive. According to a local attorney we had a reasonable expectation that the television we purchased for $1,999.99 would last longer than 2 1/2 years. He even provided me the Washington State statute for Implied Warranty: Merchantability. I guess if we do not want to have to buy a new television we will have to go to small claims court for satisfaction because it sure does not appear from the arrogance I encountered today that Costco will step up. Sony is willing to sell us a new model to the one we have for $1,000.00. After this experience, I really do not think Sony or Costco will be seeing any of our business for high ticket items. So much for my Costco Executive Membership being worth the money.

I am very disappointed in Costco!!! I am ready to give up my membership and stop shopping once and for all... I purchased a VISIO PL about 125 days ago but unfortunately the sound stop working on the day 93 so, I called Costco and drove to the store to be turned down. I was asked to call Visio and so on… on... to make the long story short 27 days later, my mother still have no sound and Visio/ Costco has not resolved the matter and is giving me nothing but run around. I can’t believe that Costco is willing to lose members for selling lousy products. I expect a TV to last at least 6 month not 125 days but apparently, according to Costco and Visio, I am having a very high expectation… how stupid of me to think that a TV should last 6 month!!! Here we are after spending thousands of dollars for the past 12 years, I just have to give up and join another club!!! Visio Case# 606140

ALL Employees at the Costco Warehouse on West Lantana Road in Florida are very Friendly and Helpfull to me. The Service at this Costco Location has been Excellent. I wanted to try costco to promote my products. Got all the information about WDS department it demonstrates new products. wanted to take a closer look at this department so I sent one of my employees to apply as a demonstrator at the store 1004 NE San Jose. What a dissapointment, the supervisor only hires asian people, if latinos come and apply she sends them to the Senter road store or Almaden. My employee attended 3 of the "motivation" meetings. If someone brings something up to the supervisor's attention like for instance scheduling the same amount of hours to all of them equally instead of only two or three of her favorites, her response is a "NO I WONT DO THAT, WHEN YOU ARE AS GOOD AS THEY ARE THEN I THINK ABOUT IT" and she goes on saying that Costco managers request only these girls. If I sent this girl to check things out is because she is one of my best sales person. I didn't want to believe all the negative comments about costco, mentioning only one: July 13/10 Mr. William Clever complains about the almaden store only hiring latinos who don't speak English, he should come to the 1004 98% are Asians and not only they don't speak English but they don't know and don't care how important it is to mention the product's company name, what it does, the benefits etc. Needless to say I cancelled everything I had done with this company. There's no such thing as a good or bad race only bad management, Regional or district managers should keep their eyes open. WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE'S BUSINESS

Our first sleep science bed purchased from South Bay International, Inc. in Pomona Ca (through Costco online) came right out of the shrink wrap smelling like mold. We returned it and received another. My husband just found that the entire underneath side of our bed which we have been sleeping in for over a year (with our 2 year daughter), is COVERED in MOLD. Our daughter wheezes at night and I have been fighting a sinus infection for over a month, which won't go away even with antibiotics. There is no other mold in our home and nothing was EVER spilled on the bed. Both Costco and the manufacturer, South Bay International, Inc. are refusing to acknowledge they are continuing to sell a faulty dangerous product. BEWARE.

I have loved Costco's service and food from the start. No place, let me repeat, no place is perfect and so many people feel entitled these days. I have to laugh when I read some of these comments. Really? Some of you people need to go to work or learn how to spell. Shop somewhere else if you don't like it. Good Grief! I feel sorry for the people in your life.

I have done the bulk of all my shopping (including groceries, electronics, small appliances, furniture, some clothing, etc.). I love your customer service, your quality, you very helpful and friendly employees. I have had an executive membership for years, and have had a membership from before you were called Costco. So, why am I considering NOT renewing my membership when it comes up for renewal? Why only 3 stars? Because you have no sustainable seafood policy, and continue to sell Chilean Sea Bass and Orange Roughy, and do not let your customers know that they are at risk of becoming endangered. I no longer buy seafood products from you, and my enjoyment of shopping at your stores has been greatly diminished.
