My wife and I have been Costco members for many years. We presently have a Business Executive membership. My member number is 306408925001. Less than a year ago, I purchased new lens for my glasses at Costco Optical in the Huntsville, Alabama store. On May 10, 2010 I took my glasses back to the store because of a scratch on the right lens that was directly in my line of sight. The clerk checked the store records and stated that the glasses were under warranty. She took my glasses and sent them back for a redo. Invoice No. 3964421 2010. On May 24, 2010, I contacted Costco Optical about my glasses. The clerk called the Lab and she reported that my glasses would be shipped out that day and I could expect a call to pick them up on the 25th. When I did not receive a call on the 25th, I called the store in late afternoon and was told that my glasses were in. After dinner, my wife and I went to Costco and picked up my glasses. The glasses seemed to be OK. This morning, May 28th, I cleaned the glasses for the first time. I used a lens cleaner for plastic lens and a Costco Optical micro-fiber cleaning cloth. When I finished cleaning the lens, the scratch on the right lens was back. The scratch is the identical size and in the identical location. The store personnel claim that both lens were replaced. To this, I say BS. Since I picked up my glasses, nothing has touched either lens until I cleaned them this morning. The odds of an identical scratch on the same lens in the same location would be astronomical. I contend that the lab did not replace either lens. They put a coating on the scratched lens to cover up the scratch. The coating came off when the glasses were cleaned. First off, 15 days to get my glasses back is extremely poor service. And to patch the right lens and claim to have replaced both lens in something that cannot be excused. I expect a refund for the lens and rest assured that I will do no further business with Costco Optical and neither will any of my friends.
How many illegal alliens do you have working with in the Costco Corportation? I do know there is illegal's, in the TN. store, and they came from Washington and was illegal in Washington. How often do you check and keep up with your illegal alliens you have working under a temperary green card, or temp Social Security Cards? And do all the mexicans you have working for you come straight from Mexico?
When you hire do you drug test? And check with the immigrant department to see if they are truly legal?
I am never going back to this store! Just think they so call take out tax's and pay the governement for someone that doesn't even have a social security card? And then these lower paid people get back tax's at the end of the year, because they have children and make low enough wages to get earn income credits. They get money that hasn't even been paid into the government because these people are illegal and they do no have legal social security cards. There is plenty of TRUE AMERICANS that need jobs, and they can't get them due to illegal alliens, and companys like Costco that does not hire true Americans.
My family and I have been members of Costco for over 30 years, we are all currently corporate members and have through the years spent a great deal of $$$. Today however; was my worst experience I ever had with a Costco store and their management. They didn't handle my problem very professionally, lots of small talk and excuses but no solution to my satisfaction, nor did they treat me with the respect that I had come to expect. I am also a member of Sam’s Club and will be taking my business there more often. I really think Costco has lost it customer service and acts as if they don't need my business but I need them, I’m afraid not. The store and management team was the Costco in Estero Florida in the Gulf Coast Town center, I have not been very impressed with the management and staff they have, last time I be going there.

JUDY EXCHANGED THAT BOTTLE ON 5/21/10..AND CAREFULLY ATTEMPTED TO OPEN THE 2nd BOTTLE....WITH THE SAME VIOLENT EXPLOSION OF PRODUCT...ALL OVER JUDY, AND THE KITCHEN.
MAD AS HELL, SHE CALLED THE 1-800-346-2922, AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PRODUCT WAS DISCONTINUED, AND AS SOON AS COSTCO EXHAUSTED THEIR SUPPLY, THE PRODUCT WOULD NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE...BECAUSE OF IT "BEING UNSTABLE"..."UNSTABLE"!!! SIRS, PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT WE HAVE IN COSTCO.

I have worked at the East Hanover,NJ location for about 5 years and I can tell you not has good has others say it is. Most people that i work with are trying to get out because are a lot of the management staff is respectful. I'm not saying all of them but a lot of them. We are all adults her and they don't treat us such that more like children and they are mothers and fathers. All they do is boss us around, threaded us,and yell. I have worked retail for 15 years never ever experience any other place at all. If you ask or say thank you or good job once in awhile it really does go a long way then yelling. Most people at my location just stopped caring because they don't appreciated us. //with out staff there be no costco. Thank you for your time Jodelle
How is it that no one in corporate is aware that the gallon milk cartons are so poorly designed that it is virtually impossible to pour milk without spilling it all over? My family goes through 3 gallons of milk a week and along with it probably a roll of paper towels to clean up each mess.
I have been working with Robin Field at your corporate office concerning a brand of dog food you carry in the Bay area, also in Texas. It's called Nature's Domain grain-free salmon. Many kennel owners as well as myself are looking for a grain-free salmon dog food that's not $50 or MORE per bag.I know SEVERAL kennels that would to save $$$$ on a quality food. Please bring this product to the Seattle market. Remember, while we are buying dog food we will also fill our carts with other necessities. Please let me know your thoughts.P.S. THE EMPLOYES ARE SO STUPID
customer service has hit bottom at costco stores - it makes me think maybe I should not renew my membership and turn to Sam's instead - not what it used to be especially for the membership price - and the products vary - what you find there for a few months - suddenly disappears and you never find it again - no explanation - - no nothing. Mangement is lacking in these facilities.
Wine selections generally excellent, but was deceptive on one occasion recently by promoting "punto final" Clasico, an Argentinian Malbec, as having 91 & 90 point ratings for 05 & 06, but offering only 2008 (not rated) and not Clasico.
The previous Malbec you offered, Norton's, was much better and was accurately represented.
My rating is for the fruit I purchased this week. I paid $12.99 for fresh fruit bowl. The cantelope was hard, the strawberries really over ripe. I shared this with family and all agreed it was awful. I bought a bag of cutie mandarin oranges because the ones I previouly purchased at Raley's Supermarket were delicious. The ones I bought at Costco were awful and rotting within 2 days of purchase. My daughter said she bought fruit there recently and was very unhappy with it as well. I have requested a refund for my mandarin oranges because we ate one and had to throw the others in the garbage. Usually happy with Costo prducts but very unhappy that I spent over $19.00 this week on very bad fruit.
