Costco as a company is not too bad, the benefits are ok, the paycheck is not too bad either if you compare it with other jobs. But my problem are the managers, I think they should be retrained. Harrasing your employees won't make them work any harder. Just because I don't want to pressure members to get their extended services or to switch to executive membership. I want to be able to work in my department as a full time status. A week ago one of the managers said that there will be a full time position and that I should apply for it, well guess what 2 days later they posted 2 part time position jobs in my department. When I went to ask about the full time position I was told that they are thinking from a bussiness point of view and if I want a full time position I should apply in a different department. Now every week there's another manager trying to force me to leave the department. I get a lot of members appreciations, sice I've worked here I called in once in two years, I'm always on time so I don't understand what is there problem. Just because I refuse to force members? Where is the work ethic, and treating your employees right??? I love my job, but I don't like the managers. And honestly I wonder how much is actualy coming from the main company and how much is just the store managers. They must be getting bonusses otherwise there is no explanation why they are treating people the way they are..

Paradise Candles of Hawaii does a Costco Roadshow. Aside from the poor quality of the product, the management is, in my experience, unprofessional and unethical. They identify their "employees" as "independent contractors" when they are not, they often work them 12 consecutive days, at 11.5 hours per day, with no scheduled breaks. And, the married, male owner of the company has been described by many as "creepy". Specifically, a female independent contractor who is employed by the company feels burdened by his unwelcome "flirtations". There is also some concern over timely payment for work done. Paradise Candles often states, "the check is in the mail", when it isn't. They also ignore emails from those they employ when requests for payment, or pertinent information, are made. And, no. The candles aren't made in Hawaii.

Why has Costco Medford Oregon stopped selling Green Envy Daily Detox ? item # 301852 I have purchased this organic produce for the past two years, always buying four or five 32 oz. containers. I guess I will have to start buying Green Envy from another store, since Costco has discontinued this product. I won't be without it for my health and my childrens health. What a shame. You still sell some Acui Berry juice made by the same Agro Lab. Looks similiar container, but not at all the Daily Detox. Why did Costco discontinu the Daily Detox Green Envy ??? Sad, Coscto Member

I received a notice in my email, that Costco was now stocking and selling "Halal meat"? Is this true? As a member of Costco I am disappointed that a quality store such as yours would sell this type of meat that I consider unsanitary. According to the information I received a lot of the meats are labeled "Organic" instead of clearly marked Halal. It also states that Halal kill plants are constantly being cited and shut down by the USDA for horrific infractions. Most of these plants are in Michigan and upstate New York. If you are selling Halal meats please let me know, as I will discontinue buying any meat at all from Costco. Thank you!

I just no that I was verbally attacted by a manager in the clarkston store not saying I am totally inacent but for a man to chase 2 ladies amd a baby out of a store totally unprofesional and for his boss to say it is ok qell it isn't. I use to spend pn average 10000 dollars a yr there now walmart will get my money

All you complainers shut up!! Good lord you hate working there. SO QUIT and SHUT YOUR FACE!! Wahh. The product was no good. RETURN IT. Doesn't Costco take care of that better then Anyone else!! The store looks the same wahh USE YOUR IMAGINATION. Pretend you at Wal-Mart then you'll realize the quality. I fell and their evil! There's two sides to every story. But you know there's so many people out there that pull bullshit scams like that everyday how can it be decifered? All I can say is people dont appreciate shit they have till it's gone. Costco is a great place to work for and to shop. Show it some love. Quit hatin'!!

If it weren't for the quick thinking and fast acting of three managers from Costco Fountain Valley CA. Tom would have had a fatal heart attack at the gas pumps at Costco. Quick action of a passerby off-duty paramedic Josh Dean and the Tire Manager Randy Banda, giving CPR and Front Manager Elie ElAssal using Costco's AED(defibulator)and Mike Escedy Store Manager Tom Bailey would not have survivied the heart attack. Costco cares, Mike Escedy called the hospital several times to check on his progress. These gentlemen acts of heroism will remain in our hearts forever. Thanks to them...life has gone on for Tom Bailey.

it's a sad day when I visited my local Costco store in Aurburn Hills Michigan . The whole of the store centre was packed with nasty Vietnam and chinese indoor and outdoor furniture. Have the owners of Costco got no shame? This is America you can surely find USA companys to manufacture these products. I now view Costco as the new Wallmart, I sincerly hope they see the light and stock USA Products in the future just like they had to do in England

Costo needs to do a better job of keeping their floor clean in the food court area. They only have one person assigned to do the floor checks of the entire warehouse and parking lots. Know that if you fall on something in Costco they will not pay for any of your medical costs, you will be forced to get an attorney and they will destroy evidence, lie and cheat to make sure that they can shirk their responsibility. The corporate attorney I went up against was unethical and nasty -- I imagine that is why Costco hires them. They did not even offer to pay for my medical expenses -- and I don't have medical insurance. The food court where I fell is always a mess and the people that clean that floors do not even acknowledge that food or liquid on the floor is a hazard. They say the only reason that they clean up debris is for aesthetic purposes. Even though they have video cameras all over the store, they refused to produce any video of my incident. I had to endure painful surgery and recuperation and the attorney had the audacity to insinuate that I was at fault for slipping and falling on something on their floor. And I am not the only one who has suffered -- it is Costco's company policy to minimize and to not pay EVER for accidents incurred on their property. At the very least Costco should educate their team members that food debris and/ or liquids are a hazard on the floor and that they should be cleaned up for safety reasons which should be more important than aesthetics. Shame on you Costco.

Costco slave I agree with you...the management are a joke...I worked for costco for a 90 day probation..was let go today (on my 70th week) for not reaching targets...wtf the women was never in the department so how could she of jude me..I got all my work done on time and even helped other people...she just disliked me because I'm quiet but didn't need to have speaking stills seen as I was locked away in the back all day..no team spirit..the place is a joke!!!!!!!!...might I add un hygienic as well..cakes with mold on!!!...if I was costco I would sack the evil bitch but hey...she's been there 16 years so she knows better NOT they need to look at how may employees have left because of her!!!!..they need to pull there fingers out there arses and sort there management team out!!..And CA-costco if I were on as much money costco throw at yas I wouldn't quit...your obviously lucky and have a good management....they were just calling management not costco!!

Love the Roseville Store. I always see the same workers and this shows me a lot about working there with the low turn over. Never had a problem parking except on holidays. A little walk never hurt me. I have my favorite spot near the cart return. Miss the big can of clams you used to carry. My boys always loved the chowder. Love the lemon juice and chicken stock. Just love the store!

I think that your Manassas,Virginia store needs some retraining. Last week when I was checking out the checker and her helper were both speaking Spanish. They are working in the USA not Mexico. If they want to speak another toung then they should do it at home not in the store, it is rude, if they don't want the coustomers to know what they are talking about then they dont need to talk about it while working with the coustomers.

I walk with a cane and, finally, began to use the electric shopping carts, which work great. I was wondering who makes them, as I have a few hundred thousand sitting around and they seem like a good investment. BTW, someone thought to install these helpful carts, without the Gov. getting involved, and spending taxpayer's money, How can this be?

Why is costco not selling cigarettes anymore in the Santa Cruz location? I realize not everyone likes it but some people still smoke and I am one of them. Who made that decision?

Extremely dissapointed. Rude customer service.Pressuring to become executive member and when I declined was told I am foolish.Supervisors have no clue how to handle a situation when a customer got injured in the store. will never go there again

CostcoSlave- get a life! If you hate working for Costco so much, QUIT! I've been employed with Costco almost ten years and they are such a GREAT company to work for. Great managment staff, great employees, great pay, great benefits, and great members who pay to shop with us. Ur managers probably get on u alot for talking because you probably TALK too much. Remember, when we are working on the clock, we have to limit our chit chat. It is rude to your members when you are caught up in idle chatter with your co-workers. We are helping our members and therefore, we have to provide "great member service" and acknowledge they are there (they do pay to shop with us). So like i said, if you hate it so much- QUIT! There are ALOT of people out there who would love to fill ur position!!!

Hello! I actually just have a compliment and don't know where to send it. I have made it a point this New Years to give compliments to those who truly deserve it. I was in the Signal hill Costco of Long Beach California that my boyfriend and I shop there weekly to every two weeks. We love it. I've seen this cashier Carlos ( a tall African American) and Tracy (a blonde woman) many times and I have had nothing but exceptional service and I think they should be rewarded for being so friendly and helpful to all the overwhelming amounts of people who shop there everyday! I'd really like to see that they a recognized for their constant hard work and great attitudes which is so much more than I can say for a lot of people in customer service. Thank you! -Talia

Costco is a hell hole to work for. The management is just awful to their employees. The costco I work at we are not allowed to talk to each other while working if we do we are told to stop talking your on the clock. This place has no respect for their emplyees its like being in a jail . Also if we have to use the restroom during work we get 3 minutes otherwise we get a lecture or a possible write up. Treat your employees with respect if not they will not want to work hard for you. TN
