I am a employee at the Buffalo Wild wings in Augusta Georgia (GO BULLDOGS!). The store opened last october and I've been with the company ever since. Through the past year I have frowned apon some things that have happened in our store, but I never spoke up and said anything, I figured I'd keep to myself. Well recently I was affected by a decision our GM Dave made on this past sunday. So with that being said here goes my complaining...First, We have a shift change book, where you can switch shifts if needed and a manager signs off on it. Dave our GM decides sunday that he was going to throw the book out (not honoring any shifts already in the book for the week coming). This might not sound like a huge deal but let me explain. 95% of our employees are students & half are mothers and fathers, life happens, the unexpected happens, kids get sick, having exams/ needing more time to study and sometimes we need to give a shift away or even pick up because your late on a bill. Our scheduling also isnt always right, alot of times we are scheduled out of our availability. I am not the only employee at this location that believes this is unreasonable. Several current employee's are contemplating finding a new job. Instead of completely throwing the book out (and punishing the employees that have done nothing wrong) why not set a rule in stone if the switch is not in the book its a final write up for the first time, Second time termination. Second, I'd like to address secret shoppers issue. It used to be that if you fail or didnt get a 100% on your shop then you would have to get retrained. This month Dave our GM has took things to the extreme. He is now firing employees that fail a secret shop. I understand being punished for not doing your job to the T, but why not if a employee fails retrain them, if the same employee fails a second time then terminate them. I am in no way trying to get Dave our GM fired. Dave is a stand up guy. I just believe he could have handled things differently in these situation. Work is no longer a friendly work place, the environment hositle. I'm not sure how much longer I'll be with the company if this continues. I hope someone reads this and reports back, If not I hope Dave see's it and reconsiders adjusting a few things. Thanks for letting me voice my complaint/opinion.

Last evening, my 2 kids, age 16, and 7 of their friends went with an adult friend of the family to the Novi, MI restaurant. The kids were celebrating one of the young man's birthday. They got to the restaurant at 8:30 pm and had to wait nearly 3 hours before they got seated.The manager was rude to my friend and choose not to seat them because they were a large party and claimed they didn't have room to accommodate such a large party because of the U of M game. I am so disappointed to learn that these young people had to wait such a long time to get serviced.

When BWW open in Waldorf, MD they was giving away free food away to gain our business. It worked, but I over heard one of the managers (who is white) stated that we thought Waldorf customers were all white. Wow they're all Blacks. Dose it matter! My grandson get job there and one day I when into the store to pick him up and over heard someone using profanity real lound that all of the customers heard it out front also. I later find out it was my grandson and the manager was using profainty at him and try to wirte him up for standing up for them self. From what I see it's this store is a all white management staff and all black staff. Something worng here. Maybe corporate needs to do an under cover boss and see what's happing at all of their stores.

My fiance was just fired for getting beat up by two Mexican gang fighters. He told them he didn't want to fight and walked away so the one yanked him out the door and the other punched him in the face.He swung back as self defense and the manger told him to leave. The next day he goes and calls them and they told him that he was fired and that the other two got to keep there job. I don't think it was right for the manager to say he saw the fight and seen nothing. Not only that the manager never told him there was a meeting that he had to attend. The manager didn't even dare to try and call him to tell him about the meeting. I hope something gets done about this I don't think its right for the other two guys to be able to keep there job for starting a fight. I just want to start off by saying me and my wife love bw3 we try to eat there every Tuesday but who ever we don't dine in anymore bucause our children and the cleaning solution you use to wipe off your table with to sure what it is but it is very powerful smelling and it not at just one location it consent at every bw3 restaurant we have been to so not we just order are food to go. Now I know u all try to keep a clean environment for you custmors but really it now a safe one if you continue to us toxin base produce to wipe a table off seconds before a customer sits down with there family to eat. I just say think about it.. How much of the cleaing solution are we ingesting especially the children because they are the first ones to touch your tables and put there hands on there face and mouth (not good) if you are ever looking for a alternative solution to create and more healthy safe environment take a look at this website www.inspiringlife.myshaklee.com they carry all natural product and clean supplies.. BWW should be turned into a Dick's last resort because at Dick's u pay to get treated bad at BWW you should not have to endure that!!!! Or either they need to get Gordon Ramsey up in there to change things for the better!!! Ramsey says who is the most important person in a business?? Answer: THE CUSTOMER!!!!! i was at westminster md location 9/6/12 service was very good.food is always fresh and good and they are always quick to make it right.doug the upper manager has came a long ways.he has made great changes in his life i am very proud of him.cheers to doug!also i would like to take the time to see that another person is being recognised for his efferts as well,lowell,curry he is remembered from a couple places in past and has excellent professional skills his heart is in his future career that he takes very seriosly.he and doug has much in commond...he needs his own resturant to manage.dont let this person slip through your hands.good luck guys and keep up the fabulous work and keep growing

I recently had the opportunity to visit BWW as I scheduled my bridal shower in your restaurant in Franklin, TN. This was the worst experience ever! LET ME SAY IF YOUR POLICY "NOT TO SERVE AFRICAN AMERICANS" MAYBE YOU SHOULD STATE THIS OR PUT IT IN PLAIN VIEW, SO THAT WE CAN PATRONIZE OTHER RESTAURANTS! This is my second written complaint my 1st complaint was written and sent on 08/28/12 with no resolve. 1st and most importantly I am not employed with BWW so why is it we were responsible for cleaning off our own tables and requesting refills, while other patrons (caucasion) around our party were being served on the spot. The manager at this location was rude and refuse to see the errors that were made. I will not visit any of your restaurants ever again. However, I would like for someone to contact me with a resolution to this problem!

First I don’t work there and never have just a first time customer. Observation 2 male mangers and 1 female just sitting at a table bull shitting for 45 min. I could see from where I was sitting. Server’s and food runners go out to the patio area drop off food and ignore the customers trying to get their attention as manager are just sitting around not caring. Staff does not help each other like I have seen at other places (RR,BJ). There are to many runners and not enough servers. I sit down and have my order taken which was fine. Then 2 minutes later another person comes up to me and ask if I would like some fry’s to sample the different sauces. I was confused do I need to pay for more fry’s to do this? There was no explained to me of what was going to happen if I said yes, so I went with the safe answer and said no not to be charged extra. Next I see a manager finally bring some one their order and sure enough when the customers behind him was asking for his attention he did not even acknowledge them. I would think the manage would be floating the room to help out or ask the customers if everything is good but not here. That is ok though he went back inside to chat with the female manager. I also noticed there was one customer who should have been cut off from drinking but the manger did not seem to be doing their job and he was getting kind loud. I think the water finally told the guy he could not have any more. So, I was done with my lunch and on my way out I see the two male manager pacing the front entrance looking like there lost LOL. This place better be charging a good price for drinks so they can stay open because the service sucks and starts with the managers.

No service. No one cared. My wife and I live in a suburb of Portland Oregon. Today, Saturday Sept. 1, 2012 is a nice warm sunny day. We wanted a micro brew beer. Went to the BWW in our city, sat down in the bar and waited a full five minutes for NOTHING. NOT ONE of the 5 servers walking by right in front of us including the "bartender" acknowledged our presence offer service......The "restaurant" wasn't busy and bar only moderately so. The staff looked like trailer trash. Now to blog everywhere, never go again, never recommend it (it's only average anwyay) and write the CEO. No simple bad Yelp rating for us no.....what a dip shit enterprize

I am currently at the bww in Bowie, Maryland. I ordered the mango Habanero wings and about half way through, I realized they smelled spoiled. I brought this to the attention of my server and she let her manager know. She later returned to tell me the manager only took $1.50 off. The manager never spoke to me or even came to see me and no one apologized. This is completely unacceptable and I'm hoping I don't get sick from this transaction. My husband and I love BW3's and have for years. We moved here from Ohio and this is the only one around. The service is ok sometimes but lately it's been terrible. I called in an order, got there in the pouring down rain, drove :30 minutes home to find out they 100% screwed up our order. Had to call back and they replaced it the next time we were there. After the replacement order, which was fine, i called in another order one day. When I called the girl on the phone was laughing hysterically at something. She asked for my order, started laughing again and then said "what did you want?" I told her and just KNEW it would be screwed up when I went in. Sure enough, I checked it before I took it this time and once again it is 100% messed up. Wrong quantities, wrong flavors, potato wedges were old and dried up. So, i told the girl it was totally wrong and she could have cared less. She got the order right the 2nd time, but the wings were microscopic. I love the flavor of the wings here, but the management and staff here.... just needs to be replaced or something. They should be ashamed of this place, and so should the owners of this establishment.

I'm writing this not so much for the free 6 wings but for the credit I am sure Sterling derserves. I have lived in the area for 10 months. My wife and I met Sterling at Miller’s grill where he always carried a great conversation and made us feel comfortable and at ease to let him know more about us. Since Buffalo opened we knew Sterling was going to make the transformation over to the new restaurant. And why not his personality was to locked up at millers. He is such a social butterfly we loved that our Bartender would be at a sports bar. We have followed up on his new addition to his family, his son Little Sterling which we will come to see him in 21 years bartending at buffalo wild wings. I have been all over the world and know what makes a great bartender, I have not seen or found a flaw in Sterling. We have seen at buffalo wild wings there are some new bartenders and they aren't really great. We ordered some stuff from them and it got lost in the abyss of customer orders. If Amy is not on her phone well then she is flirting with a bunch of older men. We live in a Military town and I understand that but it seems like Amy is working for herself to make her own profits when I see Sterling working to make sure customers come back and see him, in which case is the smart way to do it cause he will continue to get well paid every time with the same customers coming in to see him. We have made it a point to never return to this store unless Sterling is working. He told us Saturday that he had been training in the kitchen to learn more and do be certified in the back. What company could ask for a better employee. He has the bar down and now he is expanding his knowledge of the whole restaurant we can tell he loves. -Sterling did not ask us to write this much he did say “Hey AndVan you know what this is and it’s just a way to say Hey I enjoyed my food and the service was so so . Kidding don’t say anything like that, but you two should fill out for fun and why not? I know you two have the day off tomorrow”. Ha and we did have the day off but I would never think he would remember I told him that. You have a 10 star Bartender. My son went to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings @ 13230 City Station Drive in Jacksonville, Fl 32218 along with his girlfriend family. A member of her family decided that he did not want to pay for his dinner, and left the facility without paying. My son who was the last one of the party to leave the restaurant,and because the waitress recognized him with being with group,they decide to hold him hostage (a minor)and demand that he pays for another person food ( a adult), mind you he did not sit with this person at dinner. My son bill was paid in full. The only reason he was still there was because he was waiting on me to pick him up, while driving talking to him on my cell phone. While waiting, I suggested that he order some wings to take home to his twin brother. The manager Darrel Jackson, then proceeded to put in the order, but refused to give him the food, stating that this was going towards the unpaid bill from the other party. Mind you the bill was 42.30. My son refused... he advised him that his bill was paid. The manager Darrell Jackson, stated that if you don't pay, then I will call the police. At that time, I arrived to the restaurant and advise that manager Darrell Jackson, that my son had no reason to steal. I told him that I had no problem paying for the food for the other party, but at first he need to apologized. He refused, and continue to use profanity towards my son. At the time the party who was at the restaurant with my son came back, and paid for there food. After taking care the bill. The manager Darrell Jackson, still refused to apologize. At that time I informed him that not every black young man steal. I told him to give my son back him money that he had taken from him with his consent. I will never go to you restaurant again... and I am still want a apology. I will let all my family and friends know not to dine at this facility again. Mother who raised her child to do the right thing!!!!!!!!!!!

Server key works at location in romeville was combative and smelled of marijuana. If I gotta smell weed no buffalo wild wings is worth going to.
