A couple of friends and I decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Pro Bowl. After getting our food, which was not as good as we expected, we got our silverwear. The silverwear had ants on them and the manager, on that specific day, Pro Bowl Sunday, was no help at all. The only answer he had for us, as devoted customers, was, "Well I dont know what to do? Would you like me to take my food away from you?" He implied that we should eat it and not complain. We felt disrespected and completely uncompensated for. Worst restaurant experience, not because of the atmosphere, but because of the small amount or no help at all from the manager.
Today I went to order a carryout using 2-$25 gift cards I received for Christmas. the first card went thru, the second did not. The manager came up to help the young lady on the register. He was unable to get the card to go thru. He told me to call the number on the back, which he could of done as he was not busy. So I did and there was the $25 on the card. I took it back to the manager, and he told me he would take the card and use it for the remaining $19 on the order but that I would lose the $6 remaining. He contacted the # on the back of the card and verified that there was $25 on it. I had to leave so I couldn't stand around and argue with the idiot. So.........even though it's only $6, I think the manager was extremely rude and incompetent. I will never go back to the Buffalo Wildwings in Howell and will make sure to tell everyone I know what crap management they have.
As I read all these comments I am not seeing anything good about your stores. Mine is also a bad experience. After our kids hockey game we all decided to go to bww on Mid Rivers in St.Peters MO we had two tables and about 20 adults and 8 kids. Our waitress was doing the best she could the restaurant was not busy they had other servers not doing anything. The manager just stood in corner looking at us not helping. I had to get up with my hands messy and ask for napkins and silverware. It took us 1hr and half to get our food. Its not like we ordered anything difficult. The managers name was Matt one of the dads called him over and let him know we were not happy, all he did was say sorry to hear that and walked away. We then saw our waitress at the register crying with the manager standing next to her. Two of us walked up to them and assured our waitress it was not her fault it was the manager. Not one time did they come over to ask us if we needed anything or clean up empty bottles. When we went to pay our bill it was not right had things on it we didn't order but we paid for it because at this time we had been there for 2 1/2 hrs. The manager walked away and did not say a thing to us not sorry or anything. We will never go back we spent a lot of money and will never recommend any one to go.
I have always loved your wings! I eat them often! But today my comment is to say THANK YOU for getting rid of the styrofoam carry out boxes! Last night when I ate at your Crystal Lake, IL restaurant and asked for a doggy bag, I was brought a cardboard box instead of styrofoam! I was so happy to see this, as I am someone who recycles as much as possible and I know that styrofoam NEVER goes away in our land fills. Thank you so much for switching to something that will help to save our planet! I hope the idea spreads to ALL restaurants!!!!
The store in Big Flats NY had flies on the projection screen. Also managers smoke regularly in front of the entrance. Watched one employ change out a face piercing on the bench directly in front of the store. They have a high turn over rate because of terrible management.
I worked for BWW located on Fort Walton Beach, FL. It was a very hostile environment, the managers frequently singled me out and more than once I overheard racist remarks and comments from them.
WORKED FOR THE COMPANY.....MANAGERS....LOL THATS A JOKE,THEY WHERE MORE INTERESTED IN MY BRA SIZE THAN ANYTHING ELSE.OTHER EMPLOYEES WHERE TAKING MONEY LEFT AND RIGHT NO ONE EVER SAID A WORD(OTHER THAN ME) IM SURE THERE WAS A REASON FOR THAT.MY HARD EARNED MONEY WILL NOT BE SPENT AT BWW'S AND AM SO THANKFUL TO HAVE A GRAT JOB NOW
Warrenville, IL. Very rude service by bar manager. Treated us, frequent customers with blaten disrespect. I used to love bww in Warrenville IL but due to that bar manager I will not be going there again. Servers were great but attitude of management was poor.
Enjoyed the food and waitress (Jordan)was great, just opened this week in Mt Vernon IL. However I was given a survey to complete online to receive 6 free wings. The web site listed on the receipt is not a survey site and google cannot find a survey site... So I guess Thanks for nothing........
I have a question rather than a comment. I frequently receive the BW survey for entitlement to 6 free wings. However, I have found that my BWs in Vincennes, Indiana does not accept completed receipts with the Redemption Code from other BW locations. I have been told by other BW locations that these survey receipts with redemption code are honored at all other BW locations. My question is: Is it a corporate policy for all locations accept these receipts???? If so, then corporate needs to contact store #3350, Vincennes Indiana and bring them up to date. This makes me look like a fool when I try to use my receipt at Vincennes when I am turned down. I would like a corporate reply. John
WOW ! Cannot believe all of the negative remarks on here ! I visit store # 3411 in Indianapolis, IN, and it is the most considerate restaurant I've visited in years. From the hostess to the servers to the managers - AND the food - it's absolutely a super place ! Maybe Corporate should send some of the stores' employees listed within these comments to this Indianapolis store to learn a few things !
We recently went to our local buffalo wild wings here in Sioux City, Iowa .we went on saturday dec 4th about 5:30 pm our time.when we entered(we have a handicapped person with that walks with the help of a walker)we where told that NO seats to eat where available, yet there where atleast 4 tables with nobody sitting at them.we where then told by the seating hostess that they are saving the seats for people to watch a college football game that started in over an hour from when we arrived. I was under the impression that the seats where for customers that came to eat not for a game that wasn't even on t.v. yet,we are good customers that went to our local "wings" about 3 to 4 times a month.well sorry but I don't feel that we will be visiting their anytime soon.we had to turn around and go out with the temps around 20 degree's with the handicapped person also.this was a big shock as well as an unbeleivable inconvence. now if their where patron's sitting at the tables purchasing food and drinks ,it would perfectly understandable.but empty?
Here is a good story for ya. As a regular at the Lakeville location, I just want to share an experience that just lead to a customer that came in 2-3 a week after work to zero in one visit. This topic is not inflated by any means. To make a long story short. After I finished eating at the bar like I typicaly do. I went to pay the bill. The bartenter left with my card and was gone for about 2 minutes. I was watching my card because of a little unit called a skimmer that leads to many credit fraud cases a year in the restaurant business. When the bartender came back I asked why you had to leave with my card. HE said, because I wanted to write your info down and drain you account. Now I knew he was kidding at this time and I simply said, Just a little hard core about protecting my info because of skimmers. His responce, Dude like you have any money anyway as he walked away. As a business marketing professional I do just fine. I talked to Zach, the MOD about this and he really did not seem to care. More interested in walking away. All I got was I will talk with him. Now im not looking for anything here but it seems I need to climb the ladder to get someone that cares about the company to address the matter. Cause this individuals sure did not. Just when up and introduced myself to explain the problem. And from someone who understands a little joke, to being way out of line. These two did a great job tainting the image of the company in my eyes.
THE WORST WORST SERVICE EEEEVVVVEEERRRRR SUPPER RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALLY THE MANAGERS.... SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ASAP!!!
Although"Sara" is not my real name. I am an axtually a current employee of Buffalo Wild Wings and would like to be discrete. I love my job and have been with the company for almost 6years! Its a wonderful and fun place to work. I'm writing to give some thoughts I've had because I'm not sure who else to pitch these ideas to. Firstly we are a bar and grill but a Very family oriented restaurant, we have our balloons, crowns, and games for kids. But when it comes to the dinner portion kids often want tenders w/mac and cheese, or apple sauce, or a crying baby while first sat would enjoy some crackers.I know we have a few options but other than a salad wich isn't pop for kids, fried food is not a parents first choice. We are a wing and mostly fried food place but I think they need options, and healthy ones!Secondly I've trained for years, people get it or they don't. It needs to be clear to the regional managers that it doesn't always boil down to managment, its the employees, so have them stop transfering managers and fire the bad apples. Thanks for your time, like I said I love the place, going through numerous managers throughout the years obviously isn't working. Let's get some stuff changed and get things back and running they were 5 years ago! Thanks again and sorry if I wasted your time, I'm dedicated and want the best, lately its been pushing me away.
Everything is great except oWe paid ne thing. We went to BW in Garland, TX yesterday. My husband had just been told by his doctor that he should watch his cholesterol intake. I asked what they used to fry everything in. The WONDERFUL, Very Nice Waitress went to check. When she came back she said, "LARD"!!! We paid for our drinks and left almost not believeing......."LARD"!!! Animal fat melted and hardened and sold to everyone to fry food with. Today it makes much more sense to use an oil without animal fat. Canola oil, vegetable oil or others. Just thought you should know. We really loved going to BW for the food and Buzztime games. Do you see changing to a better oil in the future? Verlie Morrissette, Garland, TX Tel. 972-530-4647
the bw3s in springfield ohio is the worst experience ive ever had. the service was very poor and the manager on duty at the time was very rude. i would never recommend anyone to visit the bw3s on fountain ave in springfield ohio, they are the worst.
I have some real concerns about how your Company operates, you openned a new store in Thornton Co. several of us were very excited to work for your company, most of use had other jobs that we were told by Management to keep but we still had to get our current jobs to accommodate the hours of trainning which we all did some were not as lucky as others in doing so and lost there jobs in the process. Now the store is open for business and some of us have been given 1 or 2 days a week how are we suppose to make it off that specially the ones who have families? when you go to your Management to ask why your told "We are over staffed Iam giving people 1 or 2 days because most will quit cause they cant make it" is that really how your company operates? is that really how professional your management staff is? its really hard to proud to work for a company that operates in such a way.
First I would like to say that I simply love your wings. The problem is that everytime I come they seem to always mess up my order . This weekend I decided to (AJ). , the thing is I am there at least once a week . I even joined the Buffalo Wild Wings Club. Anywho, I like for my wings to be cooked completely for 30 minutes, extra crispy .So I placed my order over the phone and tell the person who's taking my order that I would like for it to be cooked for 30 minutes I deeply expressed it to her : tell the cook in the back to cook them for 30 minutes. When I arrived to pick my order up they were terrible. Instead of cooking for 30 minutes she stated that I thought you said you would be here in 30 minutes. Total bummer I now had to wait for 30 more minutes for my new chicken to be cooked. Such a waist of time and to be honest this always happens or it just takes along time to recieve my order , and they give me a sorry TEN dollar gift certificate. To me ten dollars is nothing when your hungry and your time is wasted!!!!! and they dont even do it everytime just when you make it known you arte not happy. This visit they said no apologies or gift certificate. VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER...

This young lady is something else theirs no words to describe how she impacts on guest! Everyone loves her. I don't know if mangers know how lucky they are to have her but if she were to leave I don't think buffalo wild wings would be the same with out her!
