St Louis stores seem to be owned by a group of individuals who at every opportunity berate and cheat and lie to their store managers. Whenever possible they change the rules in their favor scam more money for their own pockets. Their whole aim is to use people and then dump them along the way. Absolutely no positive rewards or praise is ever bestowed on their workers. All of this is proven by the numbers that have quit in frustration
Last night I went to BWW in San Antonio, Tx on 1604. It was a fight night for UFC so there was a cover that I was glad to pay because I love the UFC so much. I found the table where my friends were at and waited for a server which they had already complained that they had been waiting for awhile.35 minutes later I stopped a waitress asking for the server she returned with a waiter who ten told me our waiter is new... understandable. I asked for a beer and e returned 15 min later with the wrong kind. 1 hr has passed and still no waiter. I stopped the gentlemen again that brought out the wrong beer and he said that our waiter had mixed up the cards for 3 tables all together. I said well that sucks... he then told me he would not lose his job by fighting me. He then threatened me saying he would fight meas long as e didn't lose his job. When I told the manager she just said she would take care of it. 1.75 hrs has passed and we still don't have the cards or the right beer. This is the worst experience I have ever had and will not go there again and neither will my friends.
THIS REVIEW WILL BE COPIED AND FORWARDED TO THE CORPORATE OFFICE! I have been to the Buffalo Wild Wings on Jackson Drive in Independence at least nine times so this is not an uninformed or unobserved review. This branch of Buffalo Wild Wings is in definite decline, lacks every attribute of professionalism, and needs to be reorganized. My current recommendation for this location is to AVOID it at all costs. This afternoon (10-29-11) our family arrived at 4:10 P.M. and did not leave until 5:58 P.M. We were "seated" near the waiter’s station in the front room at a table and subsequently "forgotten" our waiter was Randall. The LEADERLESS, UNSUPERVISED, INDECISIVE, UNORGANIZED, UNPROFESSIONAL, IMMATURE, and IDLE workforce was busy fraternizing with each other vice serving the customers. Our order consisted of: two appetizers-garlic mushrooms and chips, a Cheeseburger with fries, a chicken salad, and two orders of the six piece Chicken tenders, requested sauces and drinks. This abundant and highly complicated meal took only an hour to be delivered to our table. In the meantime our family was given the "treat" of watching an over-staffed dining facility accomplish a lot of nothing besides demonstrating how to screw up a two-car funeral. From our vantage point we could observe at least 10-15 employees doing anything but their jobs. Eventually we were able to get the attention of a young girl in uniform who we asked if she could please check on the status of our order-she never returned and avoided our area after that. Randall eventually brought our food, we ate, and then left. My wife requested that I not speak to the manager while we were present. I agreed, but told her that I would be both writing a review and informing the Corporate office as to the situation. THE INDEPENDENCE LOCATION IS A COMPLETE DISASTER! AVOID IT! The even sadder second part of this situation is that the "Corporate Management" at Buffalo Wild Wings has adopted the cowardly politically correct approach to dealing with public complaints by remaining aloof and unable to be readily contacted by the consuming public. As this appears to be the regrettable policy, I think that I can effectively communicate in a manner which will be understood. One dissatisfied customer equals 250 negative reviews or recommendations. All four members of my family work in the public sector. Four times 250 equal 1000. I usually meet between 1800-2000 customers annually. Some ask locations of good places to eat, some are from out of town and are new to the area. I will start recommending that they avoid the Independence, Missouri location like bubonic plague. For an organization like Buffalo Wild Wings which has so much potential to be led and managed this poorly is beyond me.
I would first like to start out by saying that I have been employed by Buffalo Wild Wings in Kenosha, Wisconsin for several years now. It has (for the most part) been a good experience. I could not ask for a better atmosphere to work in, and my co-workers are amazing at what they do and are genuinely good people. However, this atmosphere seems to be completely destroyed when I walk into work and I see Rebecca Rohel (the general manager). I assure you, it is not only me that feels this way. I could come into work in a not-so-good mood (and try to make the best of it), but once I see that she is there, she does or says something to make me unmotivated and be the direct source of why I do not have as good of sales or tips as I usually do. I try to put a smile on and do the best that I can, but she is constantly attacking and bringing down everyone’s mood. It’s safe to say that Buffalo Wild Wings is a better place without her. I absolutely adore the rest of my managers, who are awesome at their jobs and any one of them would make a great GM. Becky is hypocritical, rude, judgmental, and discriminative. Before even meeting Becky, she already has her mind made up to whether she will be cordial with you, or make your work experience hell. She discriminates against women especially, as all of we employees would agree. She has made several employees break down to tears during their shifts. I understand that her job is to run the restaurant and make sure that we are doing everything possible for the guests, but some of the things she says are very unprofessional and rude. Even though she is my boss, I feel that in order for things to run smoothly and to get the best results, she should have a certain amount of respect for her employees. This woman simply does NOT know what she is doing. There have been multiple times where guests have heard Becky screaming at her employees. One time, she was at the greeter stand yelling at one of the greeters. A guest walked in. Did that stop her? Nope! As she walked away the guest looked at the greeter and said- and I quote-, “Wow, what a bitch!” Another time, she was yelling at a cashier near the front of the restaurant about who knows what. A guest called over one of the other managers to tell him that he didn’t like Becky’s attitude toward her employees and that he would be contacting corporate about the incident. Apparently, that didn’t go too far. When Becky has a problem with you, or would like you to change something about your work, she will first tell all of the other managers (and even some employees that are her favorites) and gossip about it. I think that ANY restaurant needs a professional, adult to operate the business- not a high school student. To top this off, I have received word that last year during St. Jude’s month, she took a portion of the money donated for her own wallet. Hearing this was the last straw for me. I don’t know what kind of person would have the nerve to do such a thing. This being a charity that is very near and dear to my heart, I am appalled. It makes me sick to my stomach to even associate with such a person. I am almost ashamed to say that this woman is my boss. Please help the Kenosha, Wisconsin employees!!!
Hi, im complaining about the location in fayetteville, arkansas. Our hostess ashley was very stuck up . We waited for 10 minutes before she decided to come from the other side of the counter and seat us. She barely did anything the entire time we were there. The resturaunt got busy and she didnt do anything unless she was told. Thats bad hosting and work ethic if you ask me. Also at one point a server sold alcohol to minors. A manager was informed nothing was done. That could cost you businesss
This post is for Midwest City OK. Have never been overly impressed with the service, but my husband likes the food. We stopped in around 6 pm tonight after a movie and the three of us were seated. We waited more than 10 minutes and were never approached or acknowledged by anyone. The restaurant and bar were not overly busy; in fact, it was the least crowded of our previous visits. I told my husband that we'll just get up and order our food to go, because I didn't want to tip on this experience. We told the girl what happened, then ordered our food. She told me it would be ready in five minutes, and I guess my face told her "not likely" so she changed it to ten minutes. Well, somebody else was seated at our table ten minutes after we got up, and they were immediately waited upon. My husband was shocked and asked the waitress why she helped them and ignored us; she blamed the hostess for not telling her even though I had seen her waiting on tables around us! So 25 minutes later, I ask about our to go order. Girl goes to check in the kitchen, and we realize the guys that were seated after us at our old table were eating their food already!!! I told the girl that they needed to go get a manager at this point. He comes out, hears our story, checks on the food, tells us another 5 minutes. Finally 10 minutes later, he comes out with it and says, "sorry." That's it. We were never offered anything like a sincere apology or a promise that he would check into our concerns -- nothing -- not even a free drink! My husband says don't you think you should do something for our troubles. He says, "maybe I can give you a small discount." Really? Did he need to ask his wife, or maybe his mother?! I was so frustrated that I just wanted to leave. Husband pushed and pushed, and the manager finally coughed up $15 on our $33 order! I told the manager, "We all make mistakes, but how we handle them is what matters. You did not handle this one well." This was a horrible experience, but if he handled it better, I would have returned and given them another chance. Not ever going to happen now! That manager does not seem to understand that in this economy, you need to keep all the customers you can. It seriously sounds like the management training is lacking for this corporation based upon the complaints above. Maybe an episode of "Undercover Boss" is in order! zero stars for BWW
My name is not Corey, but i must be discrete because i work for the company. My experience as a server for BWW has been terrible. i work at the one in lake buena vista Florida and i must say that the people representing the company are giving it a bad name. I have experienced everything from racism to sexism within the the store. the GM of the store is terrible and he only worries about his bonuses. favoritism can be seen openly. if you dont drink or associate with a manager out side of work then you dont get any respect or ours. managers are even developing personal relationships with employees and of course sex is involved. im disgusted with the company and probably wont ever eat or work for it again. PS im quitting my job
After working for this company for a year, I think the reason that many of the stores are managed so poorly is they require ZERO management experience in order to be promoted. This leads to inconsiderate, inexperienced, ill-equipped people being expected to handle a stressful, high volume position. Maybe consider having some pre requisites in order to qualify someone for a promotion.(Such as, friendly personality, ability to work well with others, and general competence.) It is likely that the your overall satisfaction rating would increase considerably! Something to think about.
I would like to contact the coorperate office about some wrong doings to me ( i was an employee but quit yesterday) I finally got fed up after trying to contact the general manager and he had no time to talk to me. I expressed that i would be quitting and he never re contacted me. obvioulsy the management is all too busy to care about their employees. Its ridiculous and I would love to talk to an upper creator or someone whom I can help get this changed. (if that makes since) Im just completely fed up and am appalled by the audacity of those people. The racism and favoritism of these people are ridiculous. I need to talk to the coorperate office but I cant seem to get ahold of anyone. The Forest Park Ohio 1801 smiley ave bw3's is a disgrace to such a great place to eat. Worst place I ever worked. Ever! reply if you know a way I can get ahold of the coorperate office. Thank you!
I AM VERY UPSET WITH THIS PLACE .I ORDERED FOOD TO GO GET TO WORK A HOUR AWAY FIND OUT IT IS THE WRONG ORDER. I CALLED UP THERE THAT NIGHT AFTER I GET OFF WORK TO GET THE NEW ORDER MANAGER ANDY ON 152 IN LIBERTY, MO SAYS OK YOUR ORDER WILL BE READY. GET THERE THEN FOR SOME REASON CANT FIND THE RECIEPT TELLS ME DONT KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU AND THEN TELLS ME IM NOT REFUNDING THE FOOD AND NOT REFUNDING ME MY GAS . AFTER THE FACT HE TELLS ME IT WILL BE READY IN 30 MINS COME PICK IT UP . I AM SO PISSED NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
OMG I call in an order after getting off work and they quote me 25 min. Ok thats fine, there is a game on whatever...I have patience. I go home change and come back with my husband, still waiting we share a pitcher of beer. Still waiting.. My TWENTY FIVE MINUTES went to OVER AN HOUR! I talked to a manager and he blew me off and told me he was "sorry". I said umm ya, my mom is watching my daughter at home because I thought we were "running out" to get it...and he says "ya im sorry".. and next to ask for him and he'd "take care of us"..I was completely angry and he could tell and just let it go.. Sorry but customers come first and I honestly dont want to go back to be "taken care of" and to top it off my husband got the black and blue burger and they didnt put any blue cheese!! Go figure. they just lost regulars. Thank the manager for that.
I would like to say that my friends and family were good and loyal customers until today We feel cheated ... We were a party of 7 and we waited for over an hour which is ok as long as we got to watch the fight and eat Some delicious wings unfortunately the host came later an told us that there is no more tables or will be tables untill the end of the fight we had all purchased our bands and we couldn't get a refund the manager was rude and we will not be back nor our friend, is not right that you charge cover fee with out having enough seats and that are nonrefundable, at least put a sing that says we charge cover fee but don't guaranty a seat. Extreamely disappointed, hungry......didint watch the fight and payed for it.
BW3's Waterfod Michigan. Worst management ever seen in a resturant. Starting with the General Manager who is rude, and looks like a picture of someone who has ate too many chicken wings. Too the night manager who walks around with a complex probably because he is emmaciated looking. That aside ther only reason I bring up their appearance is there service and rudeness is unparralled to any other resturant I've been in. Please dont waste your money at a place run, by people who dont have any social skills.
Your general manager at buffalo wild wings corpus christi comes into work drunk.and is dating an employee that is 23 years younger than him, I mean he already knocked up one og the bartenders and now hes going for someone younger, please fire him hes a perverted drunk, thanks! Sincerely, an ex employee.
I had dinner and my first receipt had a survey code I guess a redemption code on the receipt. But I do know I received a different receipt when I closed out my bill. Better watch your employees at the Palm Desert CA location?? Maybe skimming extra Wings!
I want to know what the H happened to the captain morgan sauce? its was my only FAVORITE sauce the only reason i ever went there an now i am very disappointed!! Seriously need to bring the sauce back!
I was very pleased to find out that Buffalo Wild Wings was opening in my home town. I've been unemployed for three years now and I jumped at the opportunity to attend the open interview. To my great dismay I was rejected by the restaurant due to my age. I confronted the restaurant manager and he made it clear to me that only students are being considered and hired for the new restaurant. At no time was I informed that age has a bearing on being employed. My opinion is that patrons boycot this restaurant chain until age is no longer an issue when it comes to giving people an opportunity to work. Guelph, Ontario, Canada
My husband and I have gone to the Casselberry, Florida location at least 12 times. The last few....not such a great experience. But we continue to go because one of your Mangers and my husband are dear friends. If it's not Football season, they don't seem to give a crap about their customers or food. Chicken is dry and it's almost like you are eating cardboard. The 21 year old Pickle Puss face " Manager" asked us how we were doing without every stopping at our table, and seemed to bark it at us as he scurred by. Then we leave a brand new server a $15.00 tip after she messed up several times, and informed us it was her first day and that they just "got rid of" 40 employees from that location. Then, I went to the parkng lot and retuned for the half of entree I mistakenly left on the talble and it was thrown out. I was gone literally 3 minutes, had never even reachED my car when I turned around. That's bullshit. My husband is in the restaurant business and his crew of servers would have attempted to reach the person or put it to the side knowing, that quite possibley they would return. But not BUFFALO WILD WINGS, you walk away and they throw it away. YOU WEREN'T EVEN BUSY. YOU ARE DYING FOR CUSTOMERS. It will be the last dollar I give Buffalo Wild Wings and will tell all of my frineds in Orlando, Casselberry, Oviedo and Winter Springs. You guys just don't give a crap about your customers!!
I have never had an issue wit this location until know. The store manager was very rude and unprofesional she did not help with any of ma concerns. I will never visit a bufflow wild wings again
Karem Webb the owner of the buffalo wild wings in Baldwin hills california is the worst owner in the world he is giving your company a bad name ppl in our area don't like going there because of the managers like jesica bell, derwin Jones (Brian pavseic the so called GM) he is so scared of Karem Webb its like he's walking on egg shells i think you guys need to take your stocks back from him and tell hime to go back to McDonald's with his father
