Hello I just recently got married and I am currently on my honeymoon and one of our stops was to go to the original bob evans farm in rio grande because of the wonderful pictures that my husband and I seen but boy was I mis lead when I got there to find out that because people are so worried about making a buck instead of keeping the memories alive that made bob evans so big that people have decided to take down those memories and in the process of re doing the farm and corporate has lost the feeling of the slogan of down on the farm

My fiancé recentle had breakfast in the Austintown, Ohio store and ordered sausage heavy and biscuits. We have NEVER had more disgusting tasteless unappetizing food set before us! The gravy was dark tan in color with a FEW BITS of sausage in it but the worst was it had the consistency of pudding with absolutely NO SEASONING AT ALL! Our waiteas came back few minutes later to ask how things were we explained how bad it was and she just oh I'm sorry and walked away! Needless to say we won't be returning to Bob Evans any time soon or recommending to anyone either

There is reoccurring malicious and vicious attack upon my family by the same employee, waitress, who has never been assigned to our table and comes starts attacking our son, saying in the hearing of the tables around us saying it loudly that our son is autistic, He has not been diagnosed by a physician specialist specializing in autism! Am I to assume you hire PHD doctors to diagnose your customers! I fully expect you to terminate this employee or the next notification from me will be from my attorney, And maybe the Court will explain to you why this is considered an attack upon my family!!! Your store #297 your hostess Susan brought this waitress that was not assigned to our table and then loudly proclaimed to everyone for the second time this has happened in your store, obviously you do not teach or condone this, but since it is a repeating problem, I presume you are condoning behavior by your emplyees!!! My family patronizes this store everyday, you treat the people worse who spend the most time and money in your store, assuming, this result is evidence, All your managers know my wife and son, When you address this, as soon as possible, 7-28-2011 9:30am I expect the termination of this waitress, immediately!!!

I would like to say that Bob Evans in bellefontaine Ohio is a poorly managed store as a matter of fact its the gm and the agm that r the real problems.First of all the gm instead of holding people accounatable in the proper manner hewill write someone up or suspend them then walk around bragging about it to other employees.which if u ask me its pretty childish and there r many other employees who feel the same way but r afraid to take a stand because when they do they all of a sudden get their hours chopped down next to nothing or they are treated in a different manner.we got some people who can miss a day and get wrote up and there are some who can miss several days a week and nothing happens to them.But my piont is everybody should be treated the same no matter what.Our two other lower managers r trying to better the place but cant get any support from the two upper managers.But the gm wonders why there is so much drama and negativity it wouldnt happen if they would do their job every day instead of waiting for the area director to walk through the door to make sure the store is being ran properly.And as it goes for the agm she is taking hours from people and giving them to her daughters boyfriend who isnt fully nor properly trained which is hurting productivity and other peoples morral.And not to mention tells her employees that she took this employee to cedar point which also the rumor is he is also living with the manager and her daughter.But my question is wouldnt that be considered fratenizing with employees.She also admits to employees that she only took the promotion due to her husband being unemployeed and that she really doesnt want the job.But it effects the whole restaraunt when the 2 higher up managers dont make people clean and dont even check people out to me the employees and the guests of bellefontaine deserve so much better.There are at least 75% of the employees that feel our two shift leaders give more respect to their employees and r willing to step up anytime they r needed it is much appreciated.But its sad to know that over half the employees feel the two shift managers would be better if they where running it the jobs of gm and agm need to be given to the people who deserve it and who r willing to do whatever it takes to make the place the best it can be for the guests and employees.I feel what the place needs is for corporate to investigate and or sit down with all the employees one by one to really hear how the place is .

I go to Bob Evans Easton, MD every weekend for breakfast. On several occasions, I have been serviced by a waitress named Barbara. On each occasion, I have had very rude service. I have always bit my tongue, thinking maybe she is just having a bad day. Last Sunday, July 3rd, 2001, the neighboring table of 4 experienced what I had been experiencing. The man at the table stood up and demanded a manager. I was also in Barbara's section and receiving the same rude service as always. The manager did come to the table and spoke to all of us. However, nothing changed. Barbara was still our waitress and we continued to receive the same rude service. The only thing that was offered by the manager was a free breakfast. Barbara still has a job and still continues to provide rude service. There are so many people out there deserving of this job that would be happy to have a job. Why continue with Barbara? THE LONDON STORE ,THE STAFF ARE VERY RUDE AND THE SERVICE SUCK'S!I STOPED GOING IN SIDE AND STARTED GETTING ATO GO ORDER,TONIGHT I HAD TO STAND IN LINE ,BECAUSE THE TO GO COUNTER DID NOT HAVE CASHIER,AND I SAID SOMETHING TO THE MANGER AND HE WAS VERY RUDE.I WILL NO LONGER EAT AT THE LONDON STORE!

TERRIBLE things have been happening at Bob EVans in columbia mo. Managers jobs are to hire people for needed jobs. its better to have more than less employees right? well we are short of grillline person, short 2 or 3 dish ops, and the managers will not do anything, they sit in the office and talk all morning and in the evening will help the host and while all the dish operators are backed up alot because, there is 2 only on a sunday morning and the waiters wont, i mean will NOT AT ALL bus there own tables WHEn they make triple wut dish operators make and dish op has to bus all the tables do dishes and take out trash and mop floors, take care of outdoor mantaince, and the bathroom that have shit clogged in them... THIS IS unfAIR TO EVERYONE IN KITCHEN PREP AND ESSPECIALLY DISH OPERATORS. THE hardest working dish ops are 16 year old boys and they get treated like shit. this has to stop or they will find other jobs and this company will come down and down fast.

RE: the milk for children. I have eaten at Bob Evans for the last few years in Oakton, , Virginia. This past Friday, my son( age 6) and I had dinner there ( we have many times) and he had a child's chocolate milk and I decided to have the same. As we drank it, we both noticed that it tasted like water. I asked the waitress if this was 1% milk because of the taste and she informed me that Bob Evans adds water to it's milk.WOW!!! Most children would not complain. I was surprised and disappointed and told her to get us real undiluted milk. That being said, I informed the manager at the register of my disappointment and I will not be returnng to Bob Evans again. I think this practice is not only unhealthy, but very deceptive and shameful.

You have a cook in Wadsworth Ohio that can make the best Western Omlet I have ever had. This last weekend we were in Dayton Ohio, and went to another Bob Evans to have a super omlet, and it was BLAH!!!! You really need to find out how that cook in Wadworth Ohio makes his Western Omlets, and have it made that way corporate wide. The one in Dayton was tastless, and the veggies were not done at all. The one in Wadsworth Ohio was excellent, tasty, and quick. I can only say that I am sure that would make others think about having a Western Omlet more often. Bob evans Springfield mo has some upper management that truly doesn't care about customers and Nathan who is the day time manager treats his staff and customers terrible. If your ever in Springfield mo and want a bad experience at a restaurant then try bob evans it will bad. We also noticed a roach or two crawling around when we mentioned it to Nathan he said we need to spray but the person in charge of that is off.

My husband and I went to the Bob Evans in East Peoria, IL and when we walked in the hostess wasnt at the podium so we waited a few seconds and she came walking up. When she walked up she just stared at us so I said two please and she said name so i gave her our name and she was done with us. Her name was Nichole and she was very rude!! She did not smile once or say may I help you she just waited for me to give her the information. Well, while we were waiting for our table I noticed she treated everyone like that. It was sad to see so many people come in with a smile on their face and have one little inconsiderate and rude store employee change your whole attitude. When they called our name this Nichole grabbed the menus and we followed her to our table and she kinda tossed the menus on the table and walked away without saying a word. I complained to our waitress who told the manager. The manager never once came over and said sorry or boo or can i buy you a coffee for the rudeness. I really dont feel that Nichole should be working in a hostess capacity! We will never visit that Bob Evans again!

The Bob Evans in Ft. Wright KY was absolutely AMAZING!!! The service was the best, I came in around 10:30 AM and had the only male server, his knowledge of the menu was excellent and he was the most pleasant server I'd ever had. Quick too! The food was great and the Hostess was very sweet. I will surely be back!

I have always been more than satisfied when visiting a Bob Evans restaurant. Especially the one in Port St Lucie, Florida. I have never had any problems. The only problem I have is that there are no Bob Evans restaurants closer to my home. That would be the West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Palm Beach Gardens area. Why is that?

My husband and I went to the Bellefontaine Bob Evans restuarant, the service was great, but my baked potatoe was warm.We ordered the new garlic fried mushrooms they were delicious,I have a request tho Red Lobster use to serve these with horseradish sauce it was very popular.I also wish Bob Evans wouldn't have done away with honey mustard dressing.

I have allways had good food and service at bob evens untille my three visits at the paintsville ky bob evens this is the worse service i have ever seen cold food no food slow service this place needs to be cleanedup befor they lose all their custmors barbara

Why does it not do any good to call corporate office?? The patrons that visit the store called and told how mean the hostess was to him. They took her off the floor for 2 weeks and put her right back on. She can say whatever she wants to the man??

We went to eat at the Bellefontaine Bob evans and we set there for 20 minutes and still did not get our food, it was on a Saturday night right before Easter. This is the poorest ran Bob Evans that i have ever seen!!!

There is so much drama at the Bellefontaine office that people are complaining about it. Can't the employees just leave the stuff at home, everyone else does. The managers are a joke!!! Its like a 3 ring circus in that place.

Very upsetting. So the waitress has an accident. She tips a full glass of ice water onto my clothing and my coach purse. She apologized a few times I said its ok, expecting to have her finish cleaning the table as I'm not kidding one bit I was totally soaking wet from chest to knees. Its 39degrees out. She leaves goes on with her work manager stops by I said I think someone should clean the ice off the table thats dripping and off the floor before someone falls. Then she comes by with a check drops it down on the table and hurrys away, I said oh no wait one minute. She came back I said your manager can take care of this I'm soaked in 500-600 worth of clothing alone I now have to drive home and we were pressed for time and change. So the manager comes over and said, "I guess you just want boxes and are not staying holding the receipt," I said, "no I'm going to sdit here eat my cold from ice eggs my mother needs to eat for meds., then I will leave." So then he says well its only water, omg!! I never in my life had a place not take care of me to fullest extent if something was wrong, to bill me? I said listen here I have a Boston Proper belt with crystals in the buckle that is 129.00 My jeans yes they are wet but my boots inside are 225. and wet inside one, my blouse soaking and my 398. coach purse wet inside! Now we could go there in paying for that. Take your 21.00 and write it off. I was so embarressed so angry that I was furious, but kept my cool I talked quietly and bluntly. I could not believe this man would even expect me to pay for that. I think Bob Evans should send me a decent amount back in coupons if they ever want me to continue bringing customers to them. laceydunay@yahoo.com

On my way home from Naples, Fl, I stopped at the Bob Evans located in Temple Terrace, Fl. for a light dinner. I ordered their Rise and Shine. (two eggs, bacon, home fries and toast). A "drink" server came immediately and took my drink order, water and a coke to go. (The coke to go was little a larger that M/D small coke.)The drinks came before a waitress by about 10 minutes. She took my order and 40 -45 minutes later still no dinner. I went to the counter to cancell my order, but the manager wanted me to wait a bit longer indicating it would be right up. I over heard her ask for the order. Some confusion took place as she verbally placed the order again. After I went back to my table, the people next to me indicated they had ordered the same thing and were still not served even though they had been seated before me. With that I proceeded to leave knowing this was a losing proposition. I stopped to pay for the small coke on the way out and was charged $2.00 and change. I highly recommed that this Bob Evans be closed or new managers hired. It is probably the worst service I have ever seen at a Bob Evans. This location has to be a losing propostion both financially as well causing potential cutomers to pause or even avoid Bob Evans resturants in the furture.
