i have been buying parts threw auto zone every since i bought my truck in 2000, now autozone is saying that i didn't buy the alternator threw them cause i don't know the phone number I bought it under. here is a few of my phone numbers 903-312-3841, 254-716-2261, 903-569-9967, 254-978-2039, 254-220-9271. The manager of the store said i see that it is our auto part that autozone sells. but he doesnt know who it was for or what vehicule it was bought for. now i won't say that i bought it cause i could have been stranded on the side of the road and had my brother, sister, nephew, mom or dad buy it and bring it to me. if anything phone numbers change for people all the time. i am 55 years old and i have had many phone numbers over the years. so i am trying to find out how to get my warranty on the alternator covered. understand even though i didn't know the number i still went on and bought another one cause i needed it. but i shouldn't be out this money on this part again. if i don't get this resolved i will more then likely start going to another part store. i had the manager pull up under my name and he said i never bought anything from autozone. later when i got back home i called and told him my old number and he said i bought clutch and brake pads. now let me say i have bought brake pads, clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate, o2 sensors four of them, and bearings, gas additives, oil additives, tools, and many many more parts and supplies threw autozone. i have been with autozone even before it was autozone (chief auto supply). i would like to know what i can do to get my money back. i keep the core and just bought another one. i am very disappointed in this autozone and the manager and staff at the lindale, tx store 3975. CAN YOU HELP ME ON THIS.
To the female that said auto zone hooked your battery up backwards, it is very much impossible on the new machines to do that.it will tell them the connection is wrong to the other people complaing of getting the wrong parts saying the staff dont know what they're doing, well you took the part home, so apparently you don't know what you're doing either,, the new store #4214 in travelers rest sc is great, the staff are great.there is a little white guy there may be in his 30's i think his name is Shane, he definitely is one of the best salesman i've dealt with, he listens to what i say and even gives great advice on other things to buy that will save me money in the long run, great job Shane hope you're there for years to come.

ARE YOU SERIOUS AUTOZONE???? Just wondering when corporate office will get off their butts and investigate whats actually going on in their stores. I visited my local AutoZone store today to find that the only employee that gives a damn about its customers is no longer there. I have been a consumer of the AutoZone store in Seneca, SC for the past 4 years and he has always been there to assist. This man could be found in the parking lot in the rain assisting AutoZone's customers while the others stood under the awning smoking and talking on their cell phones. This includes the store manager!! I will go a step further to say that without this one man customer service will be at an all time low. Not only do I intend to share this information here on this site but I intend to share on twitter, facebook, in church and on the streets. I think this man has fallen prey to an unfair situation; discrimination!! Time to start shopping somewhere the customer has a voice hope to find them soon!
My sister went into the Watertown, WI store to get a wiper blade. My sister got the worst attitude from Walter (POS) and the new employee there. My sister was belittled by the workers, and was told they didn't have "that" wiper blade there, which is a crock OF S$I!!!!! The commercials even state they will help you replace the blades on your car. My sister ended up walking out of the store crying due to the two dumb asses at that store! I will never step foot in another Autozone again, and I hope none of you will either! Hello O'Reiley or CarQuest Auto parts!
Dear Autozone HR, This is the fourth time I have received an email notifying me that my application is incomplete. I wish to tell you my experience with attempting to apply for the position listed. It is NOT a good experience. First of all, while completing said application, I noticed that every time a data entry was made, The program would redirect and send each and every item typed, instead of allowing for the entire application to be filled out and submitted. On one of these redirects, my computer suddenly shut down then rebooted. When it rebooted I received an error message that my computer had suffered a "serious error" on the hard drive. Ever since then I have had nothing but TROUBLE with my computer's OS. I have NEVER had a problem with this computer until this happened, and I am NOT a happy camper over this. I have spent hours trying to get it back functional. Secondly, as I said, this is the fourth time I have received this email notifying me that my application is not complete. Yet when I sign back in to see where the problem is, I cannot access to edit the application at all. It will only allow me to review the application by using the job description caplet. If I try to re-submit the application, I get a message saying I can only apply for one job, which to my understanding means the application IS complete. There are no notifications I see that indicates where the problem is either. This whole experience with your application website has me very upset due to the fact it has damaged my computer, and continues to be a thorn in my side. I, like many others in this weak economic time, am unemployed, and rely heavily on my PC in my job search. Also, I was very hopeful to join the Autozone company. I have seen good things at my local store in their operation, and would like to join the team. I must admit, that based on my experience trying to submit my application, my enthusiasm has dampened considerably. Now I cannot even find an email address to submit the problem to. When I replied to your email, it came right back as an unknown sender (your end). Simply inexcusable.
I agree with the person who stated he wished the was a rating less than one star. I went to the AutoZone store # 0224 located in St. Louis to purchase a can of brake cleaner. The sign on the shelf offered 2 for $6.00, when I went to check out they charged me $3.99. I showed a clerk ( Kenan Selimovic) the sign and he said that did not make any difference, if I only bought 1 the price was $3.99. Then I noticed the shelf price sticker was $3.79, when I pointed that out to him he walked away saying the price I was going to pay was $3.99. I called AutoZone headquarters in Memphis and got a runaround, suggesting I should call the area manager whom I have had dealings with in the past and because he is of the same nationality as most of the employees at the store satifaction is hard to come by. From now on my parts purchases will be from a different source.
If AutoZone offers a product at 2 for $6.00 and I only purchase 1 and they cahrge me $3.99 (standard price), what if I decide to buy 2 for $6.00 and decide to return 1 several days later will they refund $3.99 or $3.00?
I purchased a heater core from store 3375 in Tacoma. After having it installed it leaked badly. I returned it to the store and got a refund for the part but not the labor. The area manager does not respond. This has been going on for a year now. I tried Customer Service and all I get are recordings. Even the email from Customer Service was a canned response. I will never shop at AutoZone again and will shortly be notifying the BBB about this.
Would someone from your corporate office contact me. We have closed our account with Autozone before because our payments are not applied properly. The problem we have now has been going on since August 2011. Our check stubs clearly state what invoices are being paid with each check. Autozone at your PO Box 116067 Atlanta GA refuses to correct their errors in posting even though I have faxed the documentation so that our records will balance with Autozones records. Today(2/9/12) I received our current statement our Janurary 2012 payment has not been posted nor have the errors been corrected since I faxed all documentation 1/23/12 fax no. 901-495-8420. PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP. rose@basintire.com------505-326-2231 RM Admin Dept. Basin Tire & Auto Inc.
The store #0533 address: 1906 S. Sheridan Tulsa,OK 74112; managers Bucky Brown and Christopher Ray Biles are both very rude, disrespectful, display no teamwork and they do not act in a professional manner. They have favortism toward the younger women staff example, they will flirt and say nasty stuff around the customers, then their older women staff they will not help example by using teamwork by simply opening the door if able or near by when their hands are full, and both of these managers have yelled at the older staff in front of customers and say things out loud that they want to get rid of all their older staff and higher younger staff. This is discrimination towards women and their age. I am really disappointed with way Autozones managers have conducted themselves and can not believe that this is tollerated. I do not want to shop somewhere where the staff is mistreated, I feel like this is not an honest business.
I went to store 0055 in Natchez and got some of the best customer service ever imaginable. There was a guy there named Alphonso Stokes. He helped me out and he saved me some money. I even bought some extra stuff that I wasnt even intending to buy. I really appreciate young men like this because it is very hard to find young men like this that goes the extra mile and is polite, caring, nice, and give you the right part. I really appreciate his customer service. What made my day was when he told me to have a blessed day. I think he deserves to kind of recognition or Award ir something. I will be going back to Store 0055 in Natchez, Ms. I want Alphonso to wait on me. He should wait on everyone. I even stood there and watched him wait on everyone....he treats everyone the same whether they are young or old. He even carries their bags if they are heavy or the have some heavy auto parts. I would recommend his service to anyone. Thanks again, Autozone. You are the best !!!!!!!!ยก
to the auto zone in owego ny,13827. They need to get people in the store that know what the are doin.Everytime we go down and get something they always give us the wrong part for our truck and car. They need to either close the store or get people that know what they are doing. worst store i have ever went to. i wouldn't even give a one star on that storeWhat a waste of our time..
I ordered a Actron CP1980 scanner from Autozone online. They sent me a E-mail stating that they shipped the CP 1980 scanner and charged my credit card. When the product arrived they had written substitute CP9575 of the ticket by hand. The ticket clearly shows CP1980 on it. The Actron CP9575 is a far cheaper scanner than the Actron CP1980 I ordered and the one Autozone charged me for.I believe this was done intentionally by Autozone to defraud me. The Actron CP1980 is being discontinued by the manufacture and has been replaced by a new model Actron CP1985. The CP1980 is twice the scanner and had features that are missing in the CP9575. I simply wanted what I ordered and payed for. Which is what Autozone agreed to ship me Actron CP1980 scanner. I can not believe that Autozone would defraud its customers like this and plan on staying in business. I am now without a scanner for over a week and am being told bt Autozone coustomer service to wait while they look into it. What a Ripoff.
I bought a couple new parts from autozone about a month ago. Both of them were sensers both of the parts failed, and when your driving far away and the car breaks down, U don't have much time to get new parts. I was on the road and had to have it tolled to a. Shop which was very expensive + the cost of the toll, the shop repaired it and gave me the failed parts and told me to return them to autozone for credit, Well I did that and they said they would not take back the parts or give me credit. The parts were over 90 dollars and the cost of the install. I feel no satisfation with my service with them and will never shop or buy from them again...POOR customer service!

I just want to say I will Never step foot in another auto zone EVER agine!!!! They fried my battery and would not pay for a new one. We took our battery to auto zone in battle creek mi to get a fast charge and when we came to pick it up the employee asked another co-worker which battery caught on fire and he said it was my durlast. Then the employee told us it was hooked up wrong and the teeth were not touching the battery post and it caught fire and smoked. And they said it was not there fault, well I think it is! ive got a 93 ford ranger 4.0 l automatic i bought ia raditor from autozone on 10/23/2011 i started running hott so i bought a water pump still didnt fix problem so i went down the line thermostat, heatercore them sensor come to find out the raditor was bad had a small leak so on 10/26/2011 they swaped out raditors with me worked fine till12/28/2011 the 2nd one sprung a leak in side the night manager at 8 pm helped me replace the new one we both checked oil no water in oil he told me to drive it home and see how it does so i did got up next morning checked oil there was water i contacted the daytime manager albert at said store he gave me head set and stretch bolts per the distrect manager donnie morgan,i took heads to have cleaqned when i got them back was shown there were 2 3/4 inch cracks one in each head i never had a problem till the radiotrs replaced things i didnt have to the only soulation they give is to knock off 100.00 per head and reimburse me for parts i didnt need ,they knew it could have caused more damage thats why they were so quick to replace the gasket set the district manager donnie morgan said there was no way the raditor could cause the heads to crack ,i contacted 2 ford dealors in knoxville the svc managers at ted russle ford and lance cunningham ford as well as ford motor company in dearborn mich all agreed yes the radiorts being bad could have had a trickle down effect blowing the gaskets and when the manager at autozone told me at last install to drive it home iit still ran hott i will never buy anything else from autozone and reporting them to better bussiness and seeking legal action
