I got a second alternator from them after first one was bad 12.5 volts when air was put on, next alternator pulley was bent on the bottom rubbed serpentine belt and pieces of said belt flew into timing cover caught in timing belt now do not know if it's a $950.00 repair to fix this concern or a $5,000.00 repair. I hope their pledge for customer service and help is true as now his car is stuck again at Mitsubishi, already not able to go out a town for a week for the last bad Autozone part. Called CEO Mr. Rhodes

I have been a steady Autozone customer for 10 years. I have a lot of old cars. The management is fair about returns and trying to get the right parts, and in general I have had no complaints, until recently. For the couple years, I have been getting wrong part after wrong part after wrong part from Autozone. The parts called out in the their computer arrive and don't fit. It's become a major pain in the butt. Fuel sending unit - made for 1970s-'80s Ford F-100 truck - one of the most common trucks made - doesn't fit. Wrong size fuel pickup tube. Have to buy an NOS Ford one off eBay. Brake spring set for my late '70s Lincoln - wrong set, making the brand new shoes drag on the drum. The old shoes that the brand new ones replaced - 2 years old - cracked right in half at the rivets. Rear brake hose - wrong part. Front wheel cylinders for Econoline van - made with the outlet port at the wrong angle so that when you go to tighten down the cylinder on the backing plate, the brake hose shank lodges against the spindle so the cylinder won't even screw down on the backing plate. Blatantly hazardous. Rear-wheel bearings - wrong part. Duralast thermostat made defectively -won't close all the way - car won't heat up. Wrong A/C receiver/drier U-Joints - wrong part. Rebuilt brake master cylinder - top of cylinder not machined and so rough that when you push the pedal, brake fluid squirts all over the engine. Have to take a grinder to the top of a Duralast cylinder to make it seal. Bad Rear-View-Mirror adhesive - rear-view mirror falls off 3 times in 4 days. Go across the street to O'Reilly and buy a different brand, and it's two years and counting. '77 Mercedes: Wrong brake hoses. Duralast brake pads you have to grind off the backing plate ears to make them fit the slots. Wrong fuel pump. There are quite a few more that I can't remember off the top of my head. Between wrong Autozone parts, and all the Harbor Freight tools that break the first time you use them, simple jobs are becoming almost impossible. The manager is cool. But man, the wrong/bad parts are becoming SUCH a pain.

I applied for a job at autozone in Casper WY. was told I would have a job as a manager and all I had to do is wait for my background check came back and I would be on my way to my new job! After waiting a month for my background check even going so far as trying to get it to them faster by giving them phone # and fax # but still I waited! I told the manager who interviewed me about my past and I had a felony he said no problem it is over 5 yrs old and not a big deal. We talk on the phone every week sometimes 2 or 3 times always was told no problem you have the job! Then on 5/24/12 I called the same manager I had been talking to and was told I was rejected and he had no reason and told me it came from the Denver office so I called there and was told that it was his fault or it was the corp. office in memphis TN. ! So I called them and they blamed it on the manager and the Denver office and the background co.! I called the background co. and was told the info they had which was right which I told them from the start and that they did not have a decision in the matter ! So called the manager and told him . He said he would make some more calls and he called me back and told me I was rejected by the corp. office ! So my question to the powers to be of autozone why do you have managers if they can't hire who they think is right for the job! Also why would a person who never meet me or ever talk to me be able to say no to hiring me over a piece of paper 5yrs old ! Just let that person know I was a great fit to autozone and that you should let the manager who wanted to hire me hire who they think is right! I also have many ties to the car clubs in WY. so will be passing this on to them and telling them that autozone is not the place to shop cause it is just a joke and managers are just people in a gray shirt who can't make any decision with out the corp. office ! VERY POOR AND DISAPPOINTING CAUSE THE MANAGER AT THAT STORE IS VERY SMART AND A GOOD PERSON BUT HE GETS SCREWED BY CORP. THANKS TO HIM!

I want to warn people about their engines The vendor & Autozone do not stand behind them when you have a problem

Thanks to the employees at the store in Woodburn Oregon.

My brother applied for a job here in Maryland. They accepted his application, hired him, sent him his paper work and EVEN gave him a employee I.D. number. Well weeks went by and he was waiting for his start date he didn't hear anything so he called the location he was suppose to be place. The manager rudely told him well they gave his position to someone from another office. Like really how unprofessional can you get.

I moved from Biloxi, MS (Pass Road cross from Blockbuster)back home to St. Petersburg, FL and lets just say both locations gave excellent help to me. But no matter what store I visit I get great service. Thanks Autozone and keep up the excellent service and standing by what you say.

On Friday afternoon, May 18th, we were heading home (Indiana) from a week in Panama City, Florida. We stopped at Athens, Alabama for gas and when we tried to start the car it wouldnt start. We were bascially stranded not knowing anything about the town. We called Autozone for information about towing to their business to have the battery tested and their store manager, Gary Lovett (0015) sent a young man out to jump us, made sure we got there, tested the battery and had a new one put in. We were back on the road in about an hour. This kind of service is what makes a grest store. And its the people that run the store that builds the reputation for Autozone. Gary was from Indiana and had been transfered to Alabama. I hope the corporate office takes the time to call Gary and let him know he is doing a great job. Thank you, Linda and Larry

My boyfriend to in his battery to have charged or to see if it would charge the young lady there said it was charging and it would be about 49 min ti finish. So he came on we live 12 miles from town brought the dog home and i went in to town for him to pick it up.. Well he lefted his name and they stuck a blue piece of paper on it with his name.. They young gal went back to get it came out asked other gal where it was and that gal said right here took her in the back and the both came out and ask the store manager where it was it have lambert on it and he told the gals he came and picked it up and I said no he did not I was picking it up for him.. The manger said OOPs I gave it to someone else... Nothing he could do but give hime 10percent off and not charge him a core fee... He said the battery was no good but the young gal said it had 49 min left to charge.. So we got really F on this one... I will never go back there agin for nothing... Bring something in and they just give it away.. He would of not like that himself but he didnt seem to concerned.. just sent me on my way home to give the news to my boyfrind.. Thank Auto Zone for seving us so well...

GREAT JOB store #2114 Warren, MI. This store goes above and beyond to provide us with the parts we need and gets them delivered to us when they say they will. Thanks again. Dan H. General Manager

Beware,Don't ever stop by Auto Zone located in St.Louis Mo. at 1215 N.Kingshighway. I've been needing 1 reward point to recieve my reward after my past 3 visits there and each visit spending over 20 dollars. As well, they always lie saying that there device to check your check engine status is broken.Management is no help, their customer communications skills are just as bad as their workers.Im willing to pay more at O'rielys for respectful service than tobe hustle by a suppose to be community established auto parts store.

they say they wouldnt hire me cause i have a felony on my record well they just hired a girl named tiffany magdariaga at the murfreesboro rd store in nashville tn she has outstanding warrants in tn and she is driving a stolen lexus!!!wow there was no background check on her huh?? 615 361 7794 thats the stores number everyone please call and let them know she has warrants and there discrimnating!!!thank you

We were traveling from Michigan to Myrtle Beach, two cars, four adults, and 6 little kids. All of a sudden one of the cars starts acting up. There we are in West Virginia at Autozone trying to figure out what is going on with this car before we head farther into the mountains. Those boys at Autozone were amazing, after running diganostic and tring to fix what the diganostic said was wrong with it, the car was still acting up. They were looking at the car, looking on the computer, calling on the phone anything to figure out what was happening and put us back on the road safely. I have never met a better team and with their help we are Myrtle Beach bound again. Thank you so much James and Andrew and the others that pitched in. It meant so much and you made autozone customers for life.

"Autozone" caters to Mexicans, Escondido,Ca. If you don't speak Spanish Do not go there. They don't hire AMERICANS.....................

I'd like to thank Jesus G. At store number 2844 in Apple Valley Ca. He was so helpful in checking my alternator on my 2006 Ford Mustang. The battery was to low to check alternator so he took my battery and charged it.. I put it back in and then he tested it and the alternator was bad... He gave me all the correct sockets and I changed it in about 15 minutes.... The alternator was under warranty and everything went so smooth.. Jesus is definately an asset to Autozone.. Thanks

I called autozone about a radiator for my 1991 toyota truck,I've been a customer for years. Anyway I drive down to get the radiator and return home only to find out after installing the radiator that the fan shroud was 3" off from bolting up.I called the store in paradise ca where I live . I gave the person a part number and I understand people make mistakes and it was for a 22re 4cy motor and my was a 3.0 v6.The parts guy said I have your radiator sitting right here with your name on it. I pull the wrong one and head back to the store to exchange it. Well when I get thier they couldn't find it. I was told it's here with my name on it. After 15mins pass they couldn't find it. Then I was told are store in chico has it. Now I got to drive 40 mile round trip to get my radiator. I'm getting madder by the minute .I drive to chico to the autozone store and I had in hand my wrong radiator and reciept. I explained my frustration over the paradise store who has a GHOST that steals parts that are placed by front counter with customer's name on box. The paradise store told me I'm looking at it as we speak!LIE.Anyway I get my second radiator and was told it was the right part CU50 radiator for the V6 3.0 motor. I head home and when I try to install the radiator the mounting bolt holes are all off by a 1/4 inch. Now I'm pissed . Being a machinist for 25 years I slotted the mounting bracket to make it fit. Then after mounting and connecting the hoses I find the over flow connector is straight out to the radiator side mount bracket not leaving no room to connect the overflow hose to the tank. The original was 90 degree angle to clear the mounting bracket for easy connection. I had to put a elbow in line to even connect the hose. I filled radiator to only notice the side brackets that attach the raiator mounting brackets the bolts were all loose. I totally can't believe the crap I've gone through to just mount a radiator. A 30min job took 4hrs of hell . The product was a piece of crap. I can't wait to see parts that say MADE IN THE USA. POOR QUALITY CONTROL AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. PARTS ARE GETTING REAL CHEAPLY MADE AND LACKING QUALITY MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND COMPONENTS USED IN ALL PARTS MADE IN CHINA AND MEXICO.!!!!!

Personally, I feel this company is a huge joke. They say...no affairs between managers! managers! Yeah, right! James Broker, manager of the Ukiah, CA is sleeping with a manager from Vallejo. Her name is Brenda and she's married!!!!!!!
